Management of cytokine release syndrome related to CAR-T cell therapy显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy is a novel cellular immunotherapy that is widely used to treat hematological malignancies, including acute leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Despite its remarkable clinical effects, this therapy has side effects that cannot be underestimated. Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is one of the most clinically important and potentially life-threatening toxicities. This syndrome is a systemic immune storm that involves the mass cytokines releasing by activated immune cells. This phenomenon causes multisystem damages and sometimes even death. In this study, we reported the management of a patient with recurrent and refractory multiple myeloma and three patients with acute lymphocytic leukemia who suffered CRS during CAR-T treatment. The early application of tocilizumab, an anti-IL-6 receptor antibody, according to toxicity grading and clinical manifestation is recommended especially for patients who suffer continuous hyperpyrexia, hypotensive shock, acute respiratory failure, and whose CRS toxicities deteriorated rapidly. Moreover, low doses of dexamethasone (5-10 mg/day) were used for refractory CRS not responding to tocilizumab. The effective management of the toxicities associated with CRS will bring additional survival opportunities and improve the quality of life for patients with cancer. | Hongli Chen Fangxia Wang Pengyu Zhang Yilin Zhang Yinxia Chen Xiaohu Fan Xingmei Cao Jie Liu Yun Yang Baiyan Wang Bo Lei Liufang Gu Ju Bai Lili Wei Ruili Zhang Qiuchuan Zhuang Wanggang Zhang Wanhong Zhao Aili He | 2019 | Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,5: | 21
Genetic basis of high aroma and stress toleranee in the oolong tea cultivar genome显示文摘Tea plants(Camellia sinensis)are commercially cultivated in>60 countries, and their fresh leaves are processed into tea, which is the most widely consumed beverage in the world.Although several chromosome-level tea plant genomes have been published, they collapsed the two haplotypes and ignored a large number of allelic variations that may underlie important biological functions in this species. Here,we present a phased chromosome-scale assembly for an elite oolong tea cultivar,'Huangdan',that is well known for its high levels of aroma.Based on the two sets of haplotype genome data,we identi fi ed numerous genetic variations and a substantial proportion of allelic imbalance related to important traits, including aroma-and stress-related alleles.Comparative genomics revealed extensive structural variations as well as expansion of some gene families, such as terpene synthases(TPSs),that likely contribute to the high-aroma characteristics of the backbone parent, underlying the molecular basis for the biosynthesis of aroma-related chemicals in oolong tea.Our results uncovered the genetic basis of special features of this oolong tea cultivar, providing fundamental genomic resources to study evolution and domestication for the economically important tea crop. | Pengjie Wang Jiaxin Yu Shan Jin Shuai Chen Chuan Yue Wenling Wang Shuilian Gao Hongli Cao Yucheng Zheng Mengya Gu Xuejin Chen Yun Sun Yuqiong Guo Jiangfan Yang Xingtan Zhang Naixing Ye | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 4

Recent advances and challenges in materials for 3D bioprinting显示文摘3 D bioprinting has been developed as a promising technology in a wide variety of biomedical applications. However, the successful implementation of bioprinting is still heavily restricted by the relatively narrow range of printable and biocompatible materials. Recently, many comprehensive reviews of the main bioprinting methods, commonly used bioprinting materials and the trending bioprinting applications have been carried out. In this review, we focused on the trends in the development of materials for 3 D bioprinting. The significance and recent advances of ECM-based materials, multi-material and stimuli-responsive materials for bioprinting were summarized successively. Moreover, the challenges in current studies and future perspectives of materials for 3 D bioprinting were discussed. | Hongli Mao Li Yang Haofang Zhu Lihuang Wu Peihong Ji Jiquan Yang Zhongwei Gu | 2020 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,5: | 1

血清胱抑素C、内生肌酐清除率及尿微量白蛋白在恶性肿瘤含顺铂化疗患者肾功能评价中的地位(英文)显示文摘Objective:Chemotherapy drugs such as platinum may cause damage to the renal function, creatinine clearance(Ccr),as a 'golden standard' indicator in clinical evaluation of renal function, was limited in application due to complicated detection steps.By detecting the expression of serum Cystatin C(Cys C),Ccr and urinary micro-albumin(UMA),this study was designed to analyze and discuss their roles and status in renal function evaluation for cancer patients before and after chemotherapy with platinum. Methods:We retrospectively reviewed 110 patients who receiving platinum-containing protocols or non-platinum-containing ones, and got the expression of Cys C,Ccr(was calculated by Cockcroft-Gault equation) and UMA,then analyzed whether there were differences for Cys C,Ccr and UMA in those patients;for patients with mildly impaired renal function(Ccr between 50-75 mL/min),whether there were differences for Cys C and UMA before and after chemotherapy with platinum. Results:There was statistical significance for Ccr,Cys C and UMA in patients who receiving platinum-containing protocols(85.01 ± 28.40) vs(76.79 ± 26.63) mL/min,(1.49 ± 0.50) vs(1.80 ± 0.84) mg/L and(14.30 ± 9.15) vs(16.90 ± 10.95) mg/L,P = 0.00,0.00 and 0.01),and no statistical significance for those receiving non-platinum-containing ones(89.45 ± 29.69) vs(86.78 ± 27.96) mL/min,(1.51 ± 0.78) vs(1.63 ± 0.73)mg/L and(17.31 ± 10.46) vs(16.59 ± 8.33) mg/L,P = 0.45,0.07 and 0.57);and there were also significant differences for Cys C for patients with mildly impaired renal function before and after chemotherapy(1.68 ± 0.55) vs(2.04 ± 0.68) mg/L,P = 0.03),while no statistical significance for UMA for the same ones(21.11 ± 10.06) vs(21.22 ± 8.81) mg/L,P = 0.93).There were statistical significance both for Cys C and UMA before and after chemotherapy in platinum-containing group, but the AUC for Ccr and Cys C is greater than that for UMA(P < 0.02).Conclusion:Cys C and UMA can both access renal dysfunction early after chemotherapy, but Cys C is more sensitive than UMA in reflecting early renal dysfunction,so Cys C can replace Ccr and become a reliable indicator in the assessment of renal function for cancer patients before and after chemotherapy especially with platinum. | Xun Cai Peng Xue Meizhen Gu Jiong Hu Hongli Gu Haiyan Yang Liwei Wang | 2011 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,4: | 1
Immobilization of Trehalose Synthase on Mesoporous Molecular Sieve显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to explore the immobilization of trehalose synthase on mesoporous molecular sieves. [Method] With trehalose synthase produced by genetically engineered bacteria as experimental material, mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was used as a carrier for immobilization of trehalose synthase. Properties of trehalose synthase before and after immobilization were compared. [Result] Trehalose synthase could be immobilized on mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 by using physical adsorption method. Immobilization of trehalose synthase achieved the best effect at pH 3.0, with enzyme amount of 62.5 mg/g and immobilization duration of 12 h. Compared with the free trehalose synthase, immobilized trehalose synthase showed significantly improved pH stability and thermal stability with repeatable operation, which was conducive to the utilization and storage of enzyme. [Conclusion] This study provided theoretical basis for the development of new immobilized trehalose synthase. | Hongli SHANG Ying GU | 2012 | Agricultural Biotechnology2012,1,2: | 0
Heterogeneous reaction of NO_(2) with feldspar, three clay minerals and Arizona Test Dust显示文摘Heterogeneous reaction of NO_(2) with mineral dust aerosol may play important roles in troposphere chemistry, and has been investigated by a number of laboratory studies. However, the influence of mineralogy on this reaction has not been well understood, and its impact on aerosol hygroscopicity is not yet clear. This work investigated heterogeneous reactions of NO_(2)(∼10 ppmv)with K-feldspar,illite,kaolinite,montmorillonite and Arizona Test Dust(ATD)at room temperature as a function of relative humidity(<1%to 80%)and reaction time(up to 24 hr).Heterogeneous reactivity towards NO_(2) was low for illite, kaolinite, montmorillonite and ATD,and uptake coefficients of NO_(2),γ(NO_(2)),were determined to be around or smaller than 1×10^(−8);K-feldspar exhibited higher reactivity towards NO_(2),and CaCO_(3) is most reactive among the nine mineral dust samples considered in this and previous work. After heterogeneous reaction with NO_(2) for 24 hr,increase in hygroscopicity was nearly insignificant for illite, kaolinite and montmorillonite, and small but significant for K-feldspar;in addition, large increase in hygroscopicity was observed for ATD,although the increase in hygroscopicity was still smaller than CaCO_(3). | Mingjin Tang Xiaohong Jia Lanxiadi Chen Wenjun Gu Chengpeng Huang FuWang Lan Luo Hongli Wang Xinming Wang Chao Peng | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,8: | 0
