2A step metallogenetic model for gold deposits in the northwestern Shandong Peninsula, China显示文摘Based on our study of the nature and variation of mineralization-controlling faults in their deep extension and the spatial distribution of gold orebodies in the northwestern Shandong Peninsula (NSP), here we propose that the gold deposits in the Jiaojia gold belt are controlled by listric faults and the gold deposits in the NSP are controlled by extensional fault system. We also suggest that there is a multiple mineralization space in the deep part of the NSP gold belt. As steps or benches occur along the deep extention of the listric fault where its dipping angle changes from steep to gentle, a number of gold deposits are correspondingly distributed as a steplike pattern, which is named as a step metallogenetic model for gold deposits in the NSP. The gold deposits in Shandong Peninsula were formed in the Cretaceous when the crust in the region experienced extention and thinning following the strong collision between North China Plate and Yangtze Plate during the Triassic. 4MiR-122-5p suppresses the proliferation, migration, and invasion of gastric cancer cells by targeting LYN显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC)is one of malignant tumors with high mortality and morbidity in the world.MicroRNA-122(miR-122)acts as a tumor suppressor in a variety of cancers and has been found to be dominant in gastric adenocarcinoma.However,the specific biological function of miR-122-5p in GC is not completely clear.In this study,we found that miR-122-5p was low-expressed in GC tissues and cell lines by using qRT-PCR.Overexpression of miR-122-5p inhibited the proliferation,migration,and invasion of GC cells by using CCK-8 and transwell assays.On the contrary,downregulation of miR-122-5p promoted the proliferation,migration,and invasion of GC cells.In addition,we found that the expression of LYN,an Src family tyrosine kinase,was inversely correlated with miR-122-5p expression in GC tissues by using western blot analysis,immunohistochemistry,and qRT-PCR assays.Meanwhile,luciferase assay results indicated that LYN is a direct target of miR-122-5p in GC cells.Moreover,silencing LYN expression by its siRNA inhibited the proliferation,migration,and invasion of GC cells.Importantly,overexpression of LYN restored miR-122-5p-mediated inhibition of the proliferation,migration,and invasion of GC cells.Taken together,our results indicated miR-122-5p inhibited the proliferation,migration,and invasion by targeting LYN in GC.Lei Meng Zhangming Chen Zhe Jiang Ting Huang Jie Hu Panquan Luo Hongli Zhang Mengqi Huang Lei Huang Yu Chen Ming Lu A-man Xu Songcheng Ying 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,1:12
5NASICON-structured Na3.1Zr1.95Mg0.05Si2PO12 solid electrolyte for solid-state sodium batteries显示文摘Using stable inorganic solid electrolyte to replace organic liquid electrolyte could significantly reduce potential safety risks of rechargeable batteries. Na-superionic conductor(NASICON)-structured solid electrolyte is one of the most promising sodium solid electrolytes and can be employed in solid-state sodium batteries. In this work, a NASICONstructured solid electrolyte Na_(3.1)Zr_(1.95)Mg_(0.05)Si_2PO_(12) was synthesized through a facile solid-state reaction, yielding high sodium-ionic conductivity of 1.33×10^(-3) S·cm^(-1) at room temperature. The results indicate that Mg^(2+)is a suitable and economical substitution ion to replace Zr^(4+), and this synthesis route can be scaled up for powder preparation with low cost. In addition to electrolyte material preparation, solid-state batteries with Na_(3.1)Zr_(1.95)Mg_(0.05)Si_2PO_(12) as electrolyte were assembled. A specific capacity of 57.9 mAh·g^(-1) is maintained after 100 cycles under a current density of 0.5 C rate at room temperature. 12Phytochrome B and AGB1 Coordinately Regulate Photomorphogenesis by Antagonistically Modulating PIF3 Stability in Arabidopsis显示文摘Phytochrome B (phyB), the primary red light photoreceptor, promotes photomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis by interacting with the basic helix-loop-helix transcriptional factor PIF3 and inducing its phosphorylation and degradation. Heterotrimeric G proteins are known to regulate various developmental processes in plants and animals. In Arabidopsis, the G-protein β subunit AGB1 is known to repress photomorphogenesis. However, whether and how phyB and AGB1 coordinately regulate photomorphogenesis are largely unknown. Here we show that phyB physically interacts with AGB1 in a red light-dependent manner and that AGB1 interacts directly with PIF3. Moreover, we demonstrate that the AGB1-PIF3 interaction inhibits the association of PIF3 with phyB, leading to reduced phosphorylation and degradation of PIF3, whereas the phyB-AGB1 interaction represses the association of PIF3 with AGB1, resulting in enhaneed phosphorylation and degradation of PIF3. Our results suggest that phyB and AGB1 antagonistically regulate PIF3 stability by dynamically interacting with each other and PIF3. 13Scientific literature addressing brain glioma in the Web of Science A 10-year bibliometric analysis显示文摘Brain glioma is a hot topic in recent years; however, brain glioma remains poorly understood. A bibliometric analysis based on the Science Citation Index (SCI) published by the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI) was performed to identify the global research and to improve the understanding of research trends in the brain glioma field from 2001 to 2010. During 2001 to 2010, there were 8 413 papers addressing brain glioma added to the SCI, and this trend is increasing annually. Of these reports, 6 945 papers are written in English. Journals published in the United States had the most papers, including ten core source titles. The Journal of Neuro-Oncology published the most articles followed by Cancer Research. Furthermore, the University of California, San Francisco, is the most productive institution for publishing articles in the brain glioma field. 14Effects of different loading rates and types of biochar on passivations of Cu and Zn via swine manure composting显示文摘Pollution of arable land caused by heavy metals in livestock and poultry manure has become a potential threaten to human health in China.Safe disposal of the contained toxic pollution with animal manure by co-composting with biochar is one of the alternative methods.Biochars from different sources(wheat straw,peanut shells and rice husks)amended with different loading rates were investigated for passivations of copper and zinc(Cu and Zn)in swine manure composting.Results showed that the passivation effects of the three types of biochar on Cu and Zn were enhanced with increasing biochar dose.Contents of Cu and Zn measured by diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA)and Community Bureau of Reference(CBR)showed that wheat straw biochar with the loading rates of 10%–13%(w/w)was superior to the other two types of biochar in this study.Compared with the control,sample from wheat straw biochar was more favorable for the bacterial growth of Proteobacteria,Firmicutes and Actinobacteria.In addition,pot experiment showed that organic fertilizer amended with wheat straw biochar could significantly improve the growth of Chinese pakchoi and enzyme activities(superoxide dismutase,peroxidase,polyphenol oxidase and catalase)as compared with the control.Cu and Zn contents of Chinese pakchoi in the organic fertilizer group containing wheat straw biochar reduced by 73.2%and 45.2%,65.8%and 33.6%,respectively,compared with the group without loading biochar.There was no significant difference in the contents of vitamin C and reducing sugar between the groups of organic fertilizer amended with/without wheat straw biochar,however,there was significant difference compared with the heavy metal addition group.The application of organic fertilizer formed by adding biochar can effectively reduce the adverse effects of heavy metals on crops.CHEN Yan XU Yongping QU Fangjing HOU Fuqin CHEN Hongli LI Xiaoyu 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,6:3
15High-Resolution Mesoscale Analysis Data from the South China Heavy Rainfall Experiment (SCHeREX): Data Generation and Quality Evaluation显示文摘In this study, the observational data acquired in the South China Heavy Rainfall Experiment (SCHeREX) from May to July 2008 and 2009 were integrated and assimilated with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Local Analysis and Prediction System (LAPS; information available online at http://gffzzc2aa3fc9434744efhcpkvcx0pck6b6oc0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn). A high-resolution mesoscale analysis dataset was then generated at a spatial resolution of 5 km and a temporal resolution of 3 h in four observational areas: South China, Central China, Jianghuai area, and Yangtze River Delta area. The quality of this dataset was evaluated as follows. First, the dataset was qualitatively compared with radar reflectivity and TBB image for specific heavy rainfall events so as to examine its capability in reproduction of mesoscale systems. The results show that the SCHeREX analysis dataset has a strong capability in capturing severe mesoscale convective systems. Second, the mean deviation and root mean square error of the SCHeREX mesoscale analysis fields were analyzed and compared with radiosonde data. The results reveal that the errors of geopotential height, temperature, relative humidity, and wind of the SCHeREX analysis were within the acceptable range of observation errors. In particular, the average error was 45 m for geopotential height between 700 and 925 hPa, 1.0-1.1°C for temperature, less than 20% for relative humidity, 1.5-2.0 m s-1 for wind speed, and 20-25° for wind direction. 17Effects of edpetiline from Fritillaria on inflammation and oxidative stress induced by LPS stimulation in RAW264.7 macrophages显示文摘The dry bulbs of Fritillaria cirrhosa species can help resolve phlegm,soothe cough,clear heat,and moisten the lung,and the main active components responsible for these effect are its alkaloids.However,it is unclear whether or how edpetiline in Fritillaria can inhibit the excessive inflammatory response and oxidative stress.In this research,we aimed to examine this aspect using lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages as an inflammatory model.The quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis results showed that edpetiline significantly inhibited the content and mRNA expression levels of proinflammatory cytokines(TNF-αand IL-6)in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells,significantly increased the mRNA expression of IL-4(anti-inflammatory cytokine),and markedly downregulated the inflammatory mediators inductible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)mRNA and protein expression levels.The oxidative stress induced by LPS was also inhibited by edpetiline,as the level of intracellular reactive oxygen species decreased notably.Edpetiline may exert anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects through inhibiting the phosphorylation of IκB and the nuclear transcription of nuclear transcription factor-κB p65 and decreasing the phosphorylation of p38 and ERK in the mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway,without activating the JNK/mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway.These findings suggest that edpetiline may be a potential therapeutic agent for the prevention or treatment of inflammation-and oxidative stress-related pathophysiological processes and diseases.Hongli Zhang Xiaoqing Xu Zhenhua Liu Dongxiao Sun-Waterhouse Jinmei Wang Changyang Ma Geoffrey I.N.Waterhouse Wenyi Kang 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,2:2

19Cell cycle-related genes p57kip2, Cdk5 and Spin in the pathogenesis of neural tube defects显示文摘In the field of developmental neurobiology, accurate and ordered regulation of the cell cycle and apoptosis are crucial factors contributing to the normal formation of the neural tube. Preliminary studies identified several genes involved in the development of neural tube defects. In this study, we established a model of developmental neural tube defects by administration of retinoic acid to pregnant rats. Gene chip hybridization analysis showed that genes related to the cell cycle and apoptosis, signal transduction, transcription and translation regulation, energy and metabolism, heat shock, and matrix and cytoskeletal proteins were all involved in the formation of developmental neural tube defects. Among these, cell cycle-related genes were predominant. Retinoic acid treat-ment caused differential expression of three cell cycle-related genes p57kip2, Cdk5 and Spin, the expression levels of which were downregulated by retinoic acid and upregulated during normal neural tube formation. The results of this study indicate that cell cycle-related genes play an im-portant role in the formation of neural tube defects.
