2Probabilistic ecological risk assessment for three chlorophenols in surface waters of China显示文摘Individual and combined assessment of risks of adverse effects to aquatic ecosystems of three chlorophenols(CPs),including 2,4dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP),2,4,6-trichlorophenol(2,4,6-TCP) and pentachlorophenol(PCP),were conducted.A probabilistic approach based on the concentrations of CPs in surface waters of China was used to determine the likelihood of adverse effects.The potential risk of CPs in surface waters of China was determined to be of concern,especially PCP and mixtures of CPs.The risks of adverse effects were examined as the joint probabilities of exposure and response.The joint probability for PCP was 0.271 in the worst case and 0.111 in the median case,respectively.Based on the cumulative probability,5% of aquatic organisms included in the assessment would be affected 21.36% of the time in the worst case and 5.99% of the time in median case,respectively.For the mixtures of CPs,the joint probability were 0.171 in the worst case and 0.503 in median case,respectively and 5% of species would be affected 49.83% of the time for the worst case and 12.72% in the median case,respectively.Risks of effects of the individual CPs,2,4-DCP and 2,4,6-TCP were deemed to be acceptable with a overlapping probability of < 0.1 with 5% of species being affected less than 4% of the time.Liqun Xing Hongling Liu John E Giesy Xiaowei Zhang Hongxia Yu 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,2:7

4Au-Pd/mesoporous Fe_2O_3:Highly active photocatalysts for the visible-light-driven degradation of acetone显示文摘Three-dimensionally ordered mesoporous Fe_2O_3(meso-Fe_2O_3) and its supported Au, Pd,and Au-Pd alloy(xA uP dy/meso-Fe_2O_3; x = 0.08–0.72 wt.%; Pd/Au molar ratio(y) = 1.48–1.85)photocatalysts have been prepared via the KIT-6-templating and polyvinyl alcohol-protected reduction routes, respectively. Physical properties of the samples were characterized, and their photocatalytic activities were evaluated for the photocatalytic oxidation of acetone in the presence of a small amount of H_2O_2 under visible-light illumination. It was found that the meso-Fe_2O_3 was rhombohedral in crystal structure. The as-obtained samples displayed a high surface area of 111.0–140.8 m^2/g and a bandgap energy of 1.98–2.12 eV. The Au, Pd and/or Au–Pd alloy nanoparticles(NPs) with a size of 3–4 nm were uniformly dispersed on the surface of the meso-Fe_2O_3 support. The 0.72 wt.% AuP d1.48/meso-Fe_2O_3 sample performed the best in the presence of 0.06 mol/L H_2O_2 aqueous solution, showing a 100% acetone conversion within4 hr of visible-light illumination. It was concluded that the good performance of 0.72 wt.%AuPd_(1.48)/meso-Fe_2O_3 for photocatalytic acetone oxidation was associated with its ordered mesoporous structure, high adsorbed oxygen species concentration, plasmonic resonance effect between AuPd_(1.48) NPs and meso-Fe_2O_3, and effective separation of the photogenerated charge carriers. 8Genomes of 12 fig wasps provide insights into the adaptation of pollinators to fig syconia显示文摘Figs and fig pollinators are one of the few classic textbook examples of obligate pollination mutualism.The specific dependence of fig pollinators on the relatively safe living environment with sufficient food sources in the enclosed fig syconia implies that they are vulnerable to habitat changes.However,there is still no extensive genomic evidence to reveal the evolutionary footprint of this long-term mutually beneficial symbiosis in fig pollinators.In fig syconia,there are also non-pollinator species.The non-pollinator species differ in their evolutionary and life histories from pollinators.We conducted comparative analyses on 11 newly sequenced fig wasp genomes and one previously published genome.The pollinators colonized the figs approximately 66.9 million years ago,consistent with the origin of host figs.Compared with nonpollinators,many more genes in pollinators were subject to relaxed selection.Seven genes were absent in pollinators in response to environmental stress and immune activation.Pollinators had more streamlined gene repertoires in the innate immune system,chemosensory toolbox,and detoxification system.Our results provide genomic evidence for the differentiation between pollinators and nonpollinators.The data suggest that owing to the long-term adaptation to the fig,some genes related to functions no longer required are absent in pollinators.Jinhua Xiao Xianqin Wei Yi Zhou Zhaozhe Xin Yunheng Miao Hongxia Hou Jiaxing Li Dan Zhao Jing Liu Rui Chen Liming Niu Guangchang Ma Wenquan Zhen Shunmin He Jianxia Wang Xunfan Wei Weihao Dou Zhuoxiao Sui Haikuan Zhang Shilai Xing Miao Shi Dawei Huang 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,3:1

10Effect and mechanism of homocysteine on Parkinson's disease induced by 6-OHDA显示文摘Objective:To study the effects and mechanism of homocysteine(Hcy)on Parkinson's disease(PD)induced by 6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA)in vivo.Methods:Forty rats were divided into 4 groups.6-OHDA or the solvent of 6-OHDA was focally administrated to induce PD,2 h later Hcy or 0.9% sodium chloride was administrated in the ipsolateral substantial nigra(SN).We used behavioral testing,Immolunohistochemical techniques,biochemistry techniques to detect the injury of SN.Results:The rotary turns of PD rats induced by 6-OHDA showed significant increase after treatment with Hcy compared with the controls(P < 0.05).Also the numbers of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)-stained neurons were decreased,and dendrites were fragmented and truncated.Free radicals were increased and antioxidant enzymes decreased.Conclusion:Focal infusion of Hcy into the SN increased the vulnerability of the dopaminergic neurons to 6-OHDA-induced degeneration,it seems that the endangering effect of Hcy is due to exacerbating oxidative stress.Hongxia Xing Hai Peng Xuebing Cao Shenggang Sun 2008Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,1:0
11Air pollutant emissions induced by rural-to-urban migration during China's urbanization(2005-2015)显示文摘As the world's most populous country,China has witnessed rapid urbanization in recent decades,with population migration from rural to urban(RU)regions as the major driving force.Due to the large gap between rural and urban consumption and investment level,large-scale RU migration impacts air pollutant emissions and creates extra uncertainties for air quality improvement.Here,we integrated population migration assessment,an environmentally extended inputeoutput model and structural decomposition analysis to evaluate the NOx,SO2 and primary PM2.5 emissions induced by RU migration during China's urbanization from 2005 to 2015.The results show that RU migration increased air pollutant emissions,while the increases in NOx and SO2 emissions peaked in approximately 2010 at 2.4 Mt and 2.2 Mt,accounting for 9.2%and 8.7%of the national emissions,respectively.The primary PM2.5 emissions induced by RU migration also peaked in approximately 2012 at 0.3 Mt,accounting for 2.8%of the national emissions.The indirect emissions embodied in consumption and investment increased,while household direct emissions decreased.The widening gap between urban and rural investment and consumption exerted a major increasing effect on migration-induced emissions;in contrast,the falling emission intensity contributed the most to the decreasing effect benefitting from end-of-pipe control technology applications as well as improving energy efficiency.The peak of air pollutant emissions induced by RU migration indicates that although urbanization currently creates extra environmental pressure in China,it is possible to reconcile urbanization and air quality improvement in the future with updating urbanization and air pollution control policies.Guang Shi Xi Lu Hongxia Zhang Haotian Zheng Zhonghua Zhang Shi Chen Jia Xing Shuxiao Wang 2022Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2022,,2:0
12Optimization of the Ethanol Extraction Method of Monoester Alkaloids from Radix Aconiti Preparata Based on HPLC-MS and Orthogonal Test显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to optimize the ethanol extraction technology of monoester alkaloids from Radix Aconiti Preparata. [Methods]On the basis of defined extraction times,ethanol concentration,ethanol times and extraction time were investigated by HPLC-MS combined with orthogonal test to optimize extraction process using the content of monoester alkaloids( the sum of benzoyl neoaconitine,benzoyl hypoaconitine and benzoyl aconitine) as an index.[Results]The optimum ethanol extraction technology was as follows: 75% ethanol,ethanol amount 25 times of the medicinal material,and each extraction for 1. 5 h.[Conclusions] The optimal extraction technology is simple,feasible,stable and reliable. 13Efect of Pre‑stretch Strain at High Temperatures on the Formability of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy Sheets显示文摘High-temperature pre-stretching experiments were carried out on the AZ31 Mg alloy at 723 K with strain levels of 2.54%,6.48%,10.92%,and 19.2%to alter the microstructure and texture for improving room-temperature formability.The results showed that the strain-hardening coefcient increased,while the Lankford value decreased.In addition,the Erichsen values of all pre-stretch sheets were enhanced compared with that of the as-received sheet.The maximum Erichsen value increased from 2.38 mm for the as-received sample to 4.03 mm for the 10.92%-stretched sample,corresponding to an improvement of 69.32%.This improvement was mainly attributed to the gradual increase in grain size,and the(0001)basal texture was weakened due to the activated non-basal slip as the high-temperature pre-stretching strain levels increased.The visco-plastic self-consistent analysis was performed on the as-received and high-temperature pre-stretched samples.Results confrmed the higher activity of the prismatic slip in 10.92%-stretched sample,leading to divergence and weakening of basal texture components.This results in an augmentation of the Schmid factor under diferent slip systems.Therefore,it can be concluded that high-temperature pre-stretching technology provided an efective method to enhance the formability of Mg alloy sheets.Yongqiao Li Lifei Wang Xiaohuan Pan Qiang Zhang Guangsheng Huang Bin Xing Weili Cheng Hongxia Wang Kwang Seon Shin 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,1:0
14COP1 SUPPRESSOR 6 represses the PIF4 and PIF5 action to promote light-inhibited hypocotyl growth显示文摘Light signaling precisely controls photomorphogenic development in plants.PHYTOCHROME INTERACTING FACTOR 4 and 5(PIF4 and PIF5)play critical roles in the regulation of this developmental process.In this study,we report CONSTITUTIVELY PHOTOMORPHOGENIC 1 SUPPRESSOR 6(CSU6)functions as a key regulator of light signaling.Loss of CSU6 function largely rescues the cop1-6 constitutively photomorphogenic phenotype.CSU6 promotes hypocotyl growth in the dark,but inhibits hypocotyl elongation in the light.CSU6 not only associates with the promoter regions of PIF4 and PIF5 to inhibit their expression in the morning,but also directly interacts with both PIF4 and PIF5 to repress their transcriptional activation activity.CSU6 negatively controls a group of PIF4-and PIF5-regulated gene expressions.Mutations in PIF4 and/or PIF5 are epistatic to the loss of CSU6,suggesting that CSU6 acts upstream of PIF4 and PIF5.Taken together,CSU6 promotes light-inhibited hypocotyl elongation by negatively regulating PIF4 and PIF5 transcription and biochemical activity.Hongxia Lan Yueqin Heng Jian Li Mengdi Zhang Yeting Bian Li Chu Yan Jiang Xuncheng Wang Dongqing Xu Xing Wang Deng 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,11:0
15Unveiling the planar deformation mechanisms for improved formability in pre-twinned AZ31 Mg alloy sheet at warm temperature显示文摘To investigate the role of pre-twins in Mg alloy sheets during warm planar deformation, the stretch forming is conducted at 200 ℃. Results suggest the formability of the pre-twinned AZ31 Mg alloy sheet is enhanced to 11.30 mm. The mechanisms for the improved formability and the deformation behaviors during the planar stretch forming are systematically investigated based on the planar stress states. The Schmid factor for deformation mechanisms are calculated, the results reveal that planar stress states extremely affect the Schmid factor for {10-12}twinning. The detwinning is activated and the prismatic slip is enhanced in the pre-twinned sheet, especially under the planar extension stress state in the outer region. Consequently, the thickness-direction strain is accommodated better. The dynamic recrystallization(DRX) type is continuous DRX(CDRX) regardless of the planar stress state. However, the CDRX degree is greater under the planar extension stress state.Some twin lattices deviate from the perfect {10-12} twinning relation due to the planar compression stress state and the CDRX.
