1Identification of p100 target promoters by chromatin immunoprecipitation-guided ligation and selection (ChIP-GLAS)显示文摘The multifunctional protein p100 is a vital transcriptional regulator that increases gene transcription by forming a physical bridge between promoter-specific transcription factors and the basal transcription machinery.To identify potential signal transduction pathways in which human p100 acts as a coregulator and to find target promoter regions that may interact with p100,we performed a promoter microarray assay called chromatin immunoprecipitation-guided ligation and selection(ChIP-GLAS).From this assay,we determined that a set of promoter fragments,including several factors in the transforming growth factor beta(TGF-β)signaling pathway,exhibited interaction with p100.The ChIP-GLAS data were validated by RT-PCR assessing the mRNA expression of various factors in the TGF-b signaling pathway in cell lines.Xin Liu Lijie Dong Xuejun Zhang Baoya Wang Xinting Wang Hu Li Jinyan He Lin Ge Xiang Jing Zhi Yao Jie Yang 2011Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,1:3
2Geochemistry of Subvolcanic-Type Copper-Silver Deposits in Eastern China显示文摘The metallogenesis of subvolcanic deposits is controlled by subvolcanic activities. The copper polymetallic deposits are genetically related to intermediate-acid rocks, and the silver polymetallic deposits are more closely related to acid rocks. The abundance of Cu is relatively high in the intermediate-acid rocks and subvolcanic rocks, whereas the abundances of Pb, An and Ag are high in acid rocks, indicating rich ore-forming elements in original magmas. The study of REEs shows that the magmatic type related to copper deposits is the syntectic type, and that related to silver polymetallic deposits is mainly the re-melting type. The deposits were formed under medium-low temperatures and low salinity. 3Building highly active hybrid double-atom sites in C_(2)N for enhanced electrocatalytic hydrogen peroxide synthesis显示文摘Two-electron(2 e^(-))oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)shows great promise for on-site electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)).However,it is still a great challenge to design efficient electrocatalysts for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis.To address this issue,the logical design of the active site by controlling the geometric and electronic structures is urgently desired.Therefore,using density functional theory(DFT)computations,two kinds of hybrid double-atom supported on C_(2)N nanosheet(RuCu@C_(2)N and PdCu@C_(2)N)are screened out and their H_(2)O_(2)performances are predicted.PdCu@C_(2)N exhibits higher activity for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis with a lower overpotential of 0.12 V than RuCu@C_(2)N(0.59 V),Ru_(3)Cu(110)facet(0.60 V),and PdCu(110)facet(0.54 V).In aqueous phase,the adsorbed O_(2)is further stabilized with bulk H_(2)0 and the thermodynamic rate-determining step of 2 e^(-) ORR change.The activation barrier on PdCu@C_(2)N is 0.43 eV lower than the one on RuCu@C_(2)N with 0.68 eV.PdCu@C_(2)N is near the top of 2 e^(-) ORR volcano plot,and exhibits high selectivity of H_(2)O_(2.)This work provides guidelines for designing highly effective hybrid double-atom electrocatalysts(HDACs)for H_(2)O_(2)synthesis.Yongyong Cao JinYan Zhao Xing Zhong Guilin Zhuang Shengwei Deng Zhongzhe Wei Zihao Yao Jianguo Wang 2021Green Energy & Environment2021,6,6:2

7A first-principles study of reaction mechanism over carbon decorated oxygen-deficient TiO_(2) supported Pd catalyst in direct synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)显示文摘The choice of support is one of the most significant components in the direct synthesis of H_(2)O_(2).Aiming to improvement of activity and selectivity of H_(2)O_(2) on Pd/TiO_(2) surface,we systematically investigated the important elementary steps on Pd/TiO_(2)-Vo@C,Pd/TiO_(2)-Vo,Pd/TiO_(2)-2 Vo,Pd/TiO_(2),and Pd/C using the first-principles calculations.The Bader charge analysis and charge density difference of O_(2) adsorption elucidate the relationship between the electronic distribution and chemisorption energy.The effective barrier analysis further enables to quantitatively estimate the reactivity of H_(2)O_(2) and H2O.We demonstrate unambiguously that the selectivity of H2O formation is boosted as the oxygen vacancy concentration raised.Moreover,the introduction of C into a TiO_(2) with appropriate oxygen vacancies can slightly reduce the effective barrier for H_(2)O_(2) formation and increase the effective barrier for H2O formation leading to a higher activity and selectivity of H_(2)O_(2) formation.Our finding suggests that carbon-doped oxygen vacancy TiO_(2) supported Pd is potential alternative catalyst compared with the Pd/TiO_(2).Zihao Yao Jinyan Zhao Chenxia Zhao Shengwei Deng Guilin Zhuang Xing Zhong Zhongzhe Wei Yang Li Shibin Wang Jianguo Wang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,3:1

9Characterization of full-length transcriptome and mechanisms ofsugar accumulation in Annona squamosa fruit显示文摘Annona squamosa is a multipurpose fruit tree employed in nutritional,medicinal,and industrial fields.Its fruit is significantly enriched in sugars,making it an excellent species to study sugar accumulation in fruit.However,the scarcity of genomic resources hinders genetic studies in this species.This study aimed at generating large-scale genomic resources in A.squamosa and deciphering the molecular basis of its high sugar content.Herein,we sequenced and characterized the full-length transcriptome of A.squamosa fruit using PacBio Iso-seq.In addition,we analyzed the changes in sugar content over five fruit growth and ripening stages,and we applied RNA-sequencing technology to investigate the changes in gene expression related to sugar accumulation.A total of 783,647 circular consensus sequences were generated,from which we obtained 48,209 high-quality,full-length transcripts.Additionally,1,838 transcription factors and 1,768 long non-coding RNAs were detected.Furthermore,we identified 10,400 alternative splicing events from 2,541 unigenes having on average 2–4 isoforms.A total of 15,061 simple sequence repeat(SSR)motifs were discovered and up to three primer pairs were designed for each SSR locus.Sugars mainly accumulate during the ripening stage in A.squamosa.Most of the genes involved in sugar transport and metabolism in the fruit were progressively repressed overgrowth and ripening stages.However,sucrose phosphate synthase involved in sucrose synthesis and more importantly,isoamylase,alpha-amylase,beta-amylase,4-alphaglucanotransferase genes involved in starch degradation displayed positive correlations with sugar accumulation in fruit.Overall,we provide here a high-quality,full-length transcriptome assembly which will facilitate gene discovery and molecular breeding of A.squamosa.We found that starch degradation during fruit ripening was the main channel for sugar accumulation in A.squamosa fruit,and the key genes positively linked to sugar accumulation could be further studied to identify targets for controlling sugar content in A.squamosa fruit.REN FANG WEIXIONG HUANG JINYAN YAO XING LONG JI ZHANG SHUANGYUN ZHOU BIAO DENG WENZHONG TANG ZHENYU AN 2020BIOCELL2020,44,4:0
10Tuning the ratio of Bi/Bi_(2)O_(3)in Bi/PNC nanosheet for highefficiency electrosynthesis hydrogen peroxide显示文摘Electrocatalytic two-electron oxygen reduction reaction(2e-ORR)is a promising method for producing green and sustainable H_(2)O_(2)but lacks high selectivity and yields electrocatalysts.And it is critical to develop catalysts that meet industrial demands.Herein,we report the different ratios of Bi0/Bi^(3+)supported on a phosphorus,nitrogen,and carbon nanosheet(Bi/PNC),which can reduce O_(2) to H_(2)O_(2)with high selectivity(up to 97.75%at 0.4 VRHE)in 0.1 M KOH electrolyte and retain 97%selectivity even after 100 h electrolysis.Then a homemade flow-cell system was built for electrocatalytic production of H_(2)O_(2)under an O_(2) atmosphere using an improved gas diffusion electrode.The Bi/PNC-4 can achieve a high H_(2)O_(2)yield of 2.76 mol·gcatalyst^(-1)·h^(-1)(alkaline),5.29 mol·gcatalyst^(-1)·h^(-1)(neutral),and 3.50 mol·gcatalyst^(-1)·h^(-1)(acid)in universal pH conditions.The in-situ generated H_(2)O_(2)can function as a degradation agent for efficiently degrading pesticides and antibiotics.The outstanding selectivity and activities are attributed to the synergistic effects of Bi0 and Bi^(3+)that promote proton-coupled reduction of O_(2) to OOH^(*)(ΔGOOH^(*)=4.27 eV),and the formation of H_(2)O_(2).The fast yield of H_(2)O_(2)on Bi/PNC catalysts in flow-cell provides a promising path of electrocatalytic 2e-ORR for practical H_(2)O_(2)production.Zhikang Bao Jinyan Zhao Shijie Zhang Xiaoge Peng Yizhen Shao Chenghang Jiang Zaixiang Xu Xing Zhong Zihao Yao Jianguo Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
11Specific adhesion of a soft elastic body on a wavy surface显示文摘This paper aims at developing a stochastic-elastic model of a soft elastic body adhering on a wavy surface via a patch of molecular bonds.The elastic deformation of the system is modeled by using continuum contact mechanics,while the stochastic behavior of adhesive bonds is modeled by using Bell's type of exponential bond association/dissociation rates.It is found that for sufficiently small adhesion patch size or stress concentration index,the adhesion strength is insensitive to the wavelength but decreases with the amplitude of surface undulation,and that for large adhesion patch size or stress concentration index,there exist optimal values of the surface wavelength and amplitude for maximum adhesion strength.Jizeng Wang Jinyan Yao Huajian Gao 2012Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters2012,2,1:0
