| 3 | Bio-inspired Superhydrophobic Self-healing Surfaces with Synergistic Anticorrosion Performance显示文摘The past decade has witnessed significant efforts in addressing the global metallic corrosion challenge,with a focus on avoiding or mitigating huge economic losses incurred by corrosion and on the development of protective coatings on metals.Herein,a synergistic anticorrosion coating with both superhydrophobicity and self-healing properties was reported,through a facile replica molding method by mixing the polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)matrix with nano-sized SiO2 particles and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole(MBT)loaded halloysites(HNTs).The surface exhibits robust self-cleaning behavior under harsh conditions and high liquid repellence to withstand the osmosis of corrosive ions.The self-healing performance of the coating,due to the introduction of MBT-loaded HNTs,enhances the anticorrosion capability,which is still valid once the protective layer is damaged.Potentiodynamic polarization(PDP)and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy(EIS)measurements demonstrate that the synergetic effects in anticorrosion performances significantly enhance the long-term corrosion protection of metals.Hence,this type of dual-action coating may find unique applications in metal corrosion resistance where both super-repellency and self-healing properties are desired. | Xiaona Yang Limei Tian Wei Wang Yong Fan Jiyu Sun Jie Zhao Luquan Ren | 2020 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,6: | 4 |
| 4 | Evaluation of triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus-positive women in cervical cancer screening:A multicenter randomized controlled trial in different resource settings in China显示文摘Objective:We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus(hrHPV)-positive women in primary healthcare settings in China.Methods:This study was undertaken in 11 rural and 9 urban sites.Women aged 35-64 years old were enrolled.HrHPV-positive women were randomly allocated to liquid-based cytology(LBC),visual inspection with acetic acid and Lugol’s iodine(VIA/VILI)(rural only)triage,or directly referred to colposcopy(direct COLP).At 24 months,hrHPV testing,LBC and VIA/VILI were conducted for combined screening.Results:In rural sites,1,949 hrHPV-positive women were analyzed.A total of 852,218 and 480 women were randomly assigned to direct COLP,LBC and VIA/VILI.At baseline,colposcopy referral rates of LBC or VIA/VILI triage could be reduced by 70%-80%.LBC(n=3 and n=7)or VIA/VILI(n=8 and n=26)could significantly decrease the number of colposcopies needed to detect one cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)2 or worse and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=23).For the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+,VIA/VILI triage was 0.50-fold compared with LBC triage and 0.46-fold with the direct COLP.When stratified by age,baseline LBC triage+performed best(P<0.001),peaking among women aged 35-44 years(Ptrend=0.002).In urban sites,1,728 women were hrHPV genotyping test positive.A total of 408,571 and 568women were randomly assigned to direct COLP for HPV16/18+,direct COLP for other hrHPV subtypes+,and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtypes+.LBC(n=12 and n=31)significantly decreased the number of colposcopies needed to detect one CIN2+and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=44).HPV16/18+increased the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+(17.89%,P<0.001).Conclusions:LBC triage for hrHPV-positive women in rural settings and direct COLP for HPV16/18+women and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtype+women in urban settings might be feasible strategies. | Le Dang Linghua Kong Yuqian Zhao Yi Dai Li Ma Lihui Wei Shulan Zhang Jihong Liu Mingrong Xi Long Chen Xianzhi Duan Qing Xiao Guzhalinuer Abulizi Guonan Zhang Ying Hong Qi Zhou Xing Xie Li Li Mayinuer Niyazi Zhifen Zhang Jiyu Tuo Yiling Ding Youlin Qiao Jinghe Lang | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,5: | 2 |

Currently, the search for new materials for high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries has become a global research hotspot.MXenes, two dimensional inorganic compound comprising several layers of transition metal carbide, nitride, or car-bonitride,are actively investigated owing to their large specific surface area, good conductivity, and excellent cycle and rate performance.This article firstly reviews the breakthrough of MXenes in lithium-sulfur batteries, introduces the preparation methods and structural characteristics, and summarizes the specific applications and modification mechanisms in lithium-sulfur batteries.Then, the characteristics and advantages of MXenes as a composite electrode material for lithium-sulfur batteries are highlighted. | 6 | Clinical characteristics and clinicopathological correlations of bilateral breast cancer in China:A multicenter study from Chinese Society of Breast Surgery(CSBrS-006)显示文摘Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and clinicopathological correlations of bilateral breast cancer(BBC)in China.Methods:Data of 440 patients diagnosed with BBC in 2018 were collected from 33 centers of the Chinese Society of Breast Surgery.Demographic characteristics,bilateral tumor characteristics,and comprehensive treatment data were obtained.Correlations between the clinicopathological characteristics of bilateral tumors were analyzed.Results:The proportion of BBC was 0.22%-3.08%.A total of 33(7.5%)patients had a family history of malignant tumors,304(69.1%)patients had synchronous BBC.Only 1(0.2%)patient was male.More than half of all patients received concurrent or asynchronous endocrine/chemotherapy,32.5%of all human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-positive patients received HER2-targeted therapy,and approximately 21.6%of all patients received radiotherapy.The most common pathological cancer type was invasive ductal cancer(>60%).Approximately 70%of all patients had bilateral hormone receptor(HR)-positive tumors and presented with a single breast mass.Significant correlations were found with pathological type,histological grade,locations of tumor,molecular subtype,Ki-67 index,tumor site and size of bilateral tumors.Results of the subgroup analysis showed more clinicopathological characteristics when synchronous BBC was compared with metachronous BBC.Conclusions:In China,the clinicopathological characteristics of bilateral tumors showed significant correlations,and more significant clinicopathological correlations were observed when synchronous BBC was compared with metachronous BBC. | Xuelu Li Yitong Wang Bo Pan Man Li Jiyue Gao Yi Zhao Zuowei Zhao Chinese Society of Breast Surgery | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,1: | 2 |

| 14 | Rapid fatty acids detection of vegetable oils by Raman spectroscopy based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression显示文摘Objectives:The composition and content of fatty acids are critical indicators of vegetable oil quality.To overcome the drawbacks of traditional detection methods,Raman spectroscopy was investigated for the fast determination of the fatty acids composition of oil.Materials and Methods:Rapeseed and soybean oil at different depths of the oil tank at different storage times were collected and an eighth-degree polynomial function was used to fit the Raman spectrum.Then,the multivariate scattering correction,standard normal variable transformation(SNV),and Savitzky–Golay convolution smoothing methods were compared.Results:Polynomial fitting combined with SNV was found to be the optimal pretreatment method.Characteristic wavelengths were selected by competitive adaptive reweighted sampling.For monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFAs),polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFAs),and saturated fatty acids(SFAs),44,75,and 92 characteristic wavelengths of rapeseed oil,and 60,114,and 60 characteristic wavelengths of soybean oil were extracted.Support vector regression was used to establish the prediction model.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of MUFAs,PUFAs,and SFAs for rapeseed oil were 0.9670,0.9568,and 0.9553,and the root mean square error(RMSE)values were 0.0273,0.0326,and 0.0340,respectively.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of fatty acids for soybean oil were respectively 0.9414,0.9562,and 0.9422,and RMSE values were 0.0460,0.0378,and 0.0548,respectively.A good correlation coefficient and small RMSE value were obtained,indicating the results to be highly accurate and reliable.Conclusions:Raman spectroscopy,based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression,can rapidly and accurately analyze the fatty acid composition of vegetable oil. | Linjiang Pang Hui Chen Liqing Yin Jiyu Cheng Jiande Jin Honghui Zhao Zhihao Liu Longlong Dong Huichun Yu Xinghua Lu | 2022 | Food Quality and Safety2022,6,4: | 0 |

Short telomeres negatively impact germ cell development and can contribute to age-associated infertility. Moreover, telomere syndrome resulting from mutations of telomerase or telomere-associated genes exhibits short telomeres and reduced fertility. It remains elusive whether and how telomere lengths affect germ cell specification. We report that functional telomere is required for the coordinated germ cell and somatic cell fate decisions. Using telomerase gene Terc deficient mice as a model, we show that short telomeres restrain germ cell specification of epiblast cells but promote differentiation towards somatic lineage. Short telomeres increase chromatin accessibility to elevate TGFβ and MAPK/ERK signaling for somatic cell differentiation. Notably,elevated Fst expression in TGFβ pathway represses the BMP4-pSmad signaling pathway, thus reducing germ cell formation. Reelongation of telomeres by targeted knock-in of Terc restores normal chromatin accessibility to suppress TGFβ and MAPK signaling, thereby facilitating germ cell formation. However, facing this challenge, the traditional von Neumann architecture-based computing system is out of its depth owing to the separated memory and data processing unit architecture. One of the most effective ways to solve this challenge is building brain inspired computing system with in-memory computing and parallel processing ability based on neuromorphic devices. Therefore, there is a research trend toward the memristors, that can be applied to build neuromorphic computing systems due to their large switching ratio, high storage density, low power consumption, and high stability. Two-dimensional (2D) ferroelectric materials, as novel types of functional materials, show great potential in the preparations of memristors because of the atomic scale thickness, high carrier mobility, mechanical flexibility, and thermal stability. 2D ferroelectric materials can realize resistive switching (RS) because of the presence of natural dipoles whose direction can be flipped with the change of the applied electric field thus producing different polarizations, therefore, making them powerful candidates for future data storage and computing. In this review article, we introduce the physical mechanisms, characterizations, and synthetic methods of 2D ferroelectric materials, and then summarize the applications of 2D ferroelectric materials in memristors for memory and synaptic devices.
