| 1 | Treatment of malignant glioma using hyperthermia显示文摘Thirty pathologically diagnosed patients with grade III–IV primary or recurrent malignant glioma(tumor diameter 3–7 cm)were randomly divided into two groups.The control group underwent conventional radiotherapy and chemotherapy.In the hyperthermia group,primary cases received hyperthermia treatment,and patients with recurrent tumors were treated with hyperthermia in combination with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Hyperthermia treatment was administered using a13.56-MHz radio frequency hyperthermia device.Electrodes were inserted into the tumor with the aid of a CT-guided stereotactic apparatus and heat was applied for 1 hour.During 3 months after hyperthermia,patients were evaluated with head CT or MRI every month.Gliomas in the hyperthermia group exhibited growth retardation or growth termination.Necrosis was evident in 80%of the heated tumor tissue and there was a decrease in tumor diameter.Our findings indicate that radio frequency hyperthermia has a beneficial effect in the treatment of malignant glioma. | Jiahang Sun Mian Guo Hengyuan Pang Jingtao Qi Jinwei Zhang Yunlong Ge | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,29: | 5 |

| 3 | Obtaining digital elevation data in different terrain and physiognomy regions with spaceborne InSAR and its application analysis显示文摘Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (for short, InSAR) is a new kind of earth observation technology, which has obtained great development in recent ten years and has a great development potential and successful future. In this note, three typical regions with different physiognomies and terrains have been selected as study regions to extract their Digital Elevation Model (OEMs). Compared with the existing 1 : 250000 DEM and by analyzing their results, we have obtained its accuracy and applicable scopes. | 5 | LncRNA CFAR promotes cardiac fibrosis via the miR-449a-5p/LOXL3/mTOR axis显示文摘Cardiac fibrosis is one of the crucial pathological factors in the heart,and various cardiac conditions associated with excessive fibrosis can eventually lead to heart failure.However,the exact molecular mechanism of cardiac fibrosis remains unclear.In the present study,we show that a novel lnc RNA that we named cardiac fibrosis-associated regulator(CFAR)is a profibrotic factor in the heart.CFAR was upregulated in cardiac fibrosis and its knockdown attenuated the expression of fibrotic marker genes and the proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts,thereby ameliorating cardiac fibrosis.Moreover,CFAR acted as a ce RNA sponge for mi R-449a-5p and derepressed the expression of LOXL3,which we experimentally established as a target gene of mi R-449a-5p.In contrast to CFAR,mi R-449a-5p was found to be significantly downregulated in cardiac fibrosis,and artificial knockdown of mi R-449a-5p exacerbated fibrogenesis,whereas overexpression of mi R-449a-5p impeded fibrogenesis.Furthermore,we found that LOXL3 mimicked the fibrotic factor TGF-β1 to promote cardiac fibrosis by activating m TOR.Collectively,our study established CFAR as a new profibrotic factor acting through a novel mi R-449a-5p/LOXL3/m TOR axis in the heart and therefore might be considered as a potential molecular target for the treatment of cardiac fibrosis and associated heart diseases. | Mingyu Zhang Bowen Zhang Xiaohan Wang Jiahang Song Ming Tong Zheng Dong Jiaonan Xu Meng Liu Yuan Jiang Ning Wang Ying Wang Zhimin Du Yanyan Liu Rong Zhang Chaoqian Xu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,4: | 1 |

| 8 | Experimental study on the partial preheating combustion characteristic of Yankuang coal sludge显示文摘Coal sludge is a seriously polluted solid waste,and the rational utilization of its resources has long being an undoubtedly important research topic.This paper mainly studies the coal sludge partial preheating characteristic,combustion characteristic and the process of migration and conversion of nitrogen with preheating combustion technology.The experimental results indicate that most of the elements in the coal sludge are released during preheating,and the ratio of the fuel-N converted to the N_(2),NH_(3) and HCN are 75.5%,6.74%and 0.64%,respectively.Compared with the coal sludge,the BET surface area and cumulative pore area of preheated char are increased.The surface of preheated char is loose and porous with many fine particles,while raw coal is dense with larger particles.Meantime,the quantity of carbon defect structure,the active sites and the reactivity of preheated char are all increased.In the whole process,the NO_(x) emission is about 156 mg/m3(@6%O2),the ratio of fuel-N converted to NO_(x) was 2.98%,and the combustion efficiency is 96.5%.This experiment results will play a vital role in efficient and clean utilization of coal sludge. | Yi Zhang Jianguo Zhu Qinggang Lyu Jingzhang Liu Jiahang Zhang | 2021 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2021,3,3: | 1 |

| 15 | Rock Climbing‑Inspired Electrohydrodynamic Cryoprinting of Micropatterned Porous Fiber Scaffolds with Improved MSC Therapy for Wound Healing显示文摘Impaired wound healing imposes great health risks to patients.Recently,mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)therapy has shown potential to improve the healing process,but approaches to employ MSCs in the treatment of wounds remain elusive.In this study,we reported a novel electrohydrodynamic(EHD)cyroprinting method to fabricate micropatterned fiber scaffolds with polycaprolactone(PCL)dissolved in glacial acetic acid(GAC).Cyroprinting ensured the formation of a porous struc-ture of PCL fibers by preventing the evaporation of GAC,thus increasing the surface roughness parameter Ra from 11 to 130 nm.Similar to how rough rocks facilitate easy climbing,the rough surface of fibers was able to increase the adhesion of adipose-derived MSCs(AMSCs)by providing more binding sites;therefore,the cell paracrine action of secreting growth factors and chemokines was enhanced,promoting fibroblast migration and vascular endothelial cell tube formation.In rat models with one-centimeter wound defects,enhanced MSC therapy based on porous PCL fiber scaffolds improved wound healing by augmenting scarless collagen deposition and angiogenesis and reducing proinflammatory reactions.Altogether,this study offers a new and feasible strategy to modulate the surface topography of polymeric scaffolds to strengthen MSC therapy for wound healing. | Jinjian Huang Jie Wu Jiahang Wang Mengjia Xu Jiao Jiao Yuhao Qiang Feng Zhang Zongan Li | 2023 | Advanced Fiber Materials2023,5,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Dynamic response and failure process of horizontal-layered fractured structure rock slope under strong earthquake显示文摘Rock slope with horizontal-layered fractured structure(HLFS)has high stability in its natural state.However,a strong earthquake can induce rock fissure expansion,ultimately leading to slope failure.In this study,the dynamic response,failure mode,and spectral characteristics of rock slope with HLFS under strong earthquake conditions were investigated based on the large-scale shaking table model test.On this basis,multiple sets of numerical calculation models were further established by UDEC discrete element program.Five influencing factors were considered in the parametric study of numerical simulations,including slope height,slope angle,bedding-plane spacing and secondary joint spacing as well as bedrock dip angle.The results showed that the failure process of rock slope with HLFS under earthquake action is mainly divided into four phases,i.e.,the tensile crack of the slope shoulder joints and shear dislocation at the top bedding plane,the extension of vertical joint cracks and increase of shear displacement,the formation of step-through sliding surfaces and the instability,and finally collapse of fractured rock mass.The acceleration response of slopes exhibits elevation amplification effect and surface effect.Numerical simulations indicate that the seismic stability of slopes with HLFS exhibits a negative correlation with slope height and angle,but a positive correlation with bedding-plane spacing,joint spacing,and bedrock dip angle.The results of this study can provide a reference for seismic stability evaluation of weathered rock slopes. | WANG Tong LIU Xianfeng HOU Zhaoxu XU Jiahang ZHANG Jun YUAN Shengyang JIANG Guanlu HU Jinshan | 2024 | Journal of Mountain Science2024,21,3: | 0 |
