2Atmospheric lead pollution in fine particulate matter in Shanghai, China显示文摘The Pb-monitoring program was extended for 6 years from 2002 to 2007 at 17 representative urban sites (6 traffic, 5 industrial, and 6 residential sites), and 3 suburban sites to assess the lead pollution in fine particulate matter (PM2.5) after phasing out leaded gasoline in Shanghai. Compared with Pb levels reported in other places, the Pb pollution in Shanghai is still serious after phasing out leaded gasoline, which remains at high concentration range (213–176 ng/m3) in PM2.5 in winter. Significant spatial variation of Pb concentrations and strong seasonal variation of higher Pb concentration in winter than that in summer were detected. The size distribution of Pb in particulate matter has a unimodal mode that peaks at approximately 0.154–1.59 μm particle diameter, indicating that Pb is mainly concentrated in fine fraction. Lead in the fine fraction is enriched by a factor of 103–104 relative to Pb abundance in crust. Eight categories of Pb pollution sources were identified in the PM2.5 in the winter of 2007 in Shanghai. 3Entransy dissipation minimization for optimization of heat exchanger design显示文摘In this paper,by taking the water-water balanced counterflow heat exchanger as an example,the entransy dissipation theory is applied to optimizing the design of heat exchangers.Under certain conditions,the optimal duct aspect ratio is determined analytically.When the heat transfer area or the duct volume is fixed,analytical expressions of the optimal mass velocity and the minimal entransy dissipation rate are obtained.These results show that to reduce the irreversible dissipation in heat exchangers,the heat exchange area should be enlarged as much as possible,while the mass velocity should be reduced as low as possible.LI XueFang GUO JiangFeng XU MingTian CHENG Lin 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,20:16
4Geochemistry and LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating of the Dongjiahe ophiolite complex from the western Bikou terrane显示文摘The Dongjiahe ophiolite complex occurring in the western Bikou terrane that is composed chiefly of serpentinite, listwanitizational peridotite, gabbro, cumulus gabbro, and sub-alkaline meta-basalt, possesses a rock association of typical ophiolite sequence. The metaperidotite is depleted in light rare earth element (LREE), whereas the gabbro and meta-basalt from the studied ophiolite sequence, generated by the same parental magmas those have close affinity to the MORB (Mid-ocean ridge basalt), their REE and immobile elements patterns imply an ocean in the northern margin of the Yangtze plate during the Neoproterozoic period. 7Carbon nanotube-based electrodes for flexible supercapacitors显示文摘Flexible supercapacitors(SCs)have attracted increasing attention as the power supply unit for portable/wearable electronics.Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)are promising candidate materials for flexible SC electrodes because of their outstanding mechanical property,high electrical conductity,large surface area,and functionability.CNTs can assemble into various macroscopic materials with different dimensions.In this review,flexible CNT assemblies including 1D fibers,2D films,and 3D aerogels and sponges are introduced with a focus on the design strategies and fabrication techniques.The recent developments and state-of-the-art applications of such structures as electrodes in flexible SCs are summarized based on device configurations including sandwiched,interdigital in-plane,and cable-type configurations.The flexible CNT-based electrodes have shown great advantages in bendability,stretchability and/or compresisbility,as well as a long cycle lifetime.The current challenges and future research opportunities in this field are also discussed.Sheng Zhu Jiangfeng Ni Yan Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:11

9Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. 10CH4/N2 separation on methane molecules grade diameter channel molecular sieves with a CHA-type structure显示文摘Samples of methane molecules grade diameter channel CHA-type molecular sieves(Chabazite-K, SAPO-34 and SSZ-13) were investigated using the adsorption separation of CH4/N2 mixtures. The isotherms recorded for CH4 and N2 follow a typical type-Ι behavior, which were fitted well with the Sips model(R2>0.999) and the selectivity was calculated using IAST theory. The results reveal that Chabazite-K has the highest selectivity(SCH4/N= 5.5).2 SSZ-13 has the largest capacity, which can adsorb up to a maximum of 30.957 cm3·g-1(STP) of CH4, due to it having the largest pore volume and surface area, but the lowest selectivity(SCH4/N2= 2.5). From the breakthrough test, we can conclude that SSZ-13 may be a suitable candidate for the recovery of CH4 from low concentration methane(CH4<20%) based on its larger pore volume and higher CH4 capacity. 11Separation of CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4/N_2 mixtures using MOF-5 and Cu_3(BTC)_2显示文摘In this paper we used MOF-5 and Cu3(BTC)2to separate CO2/CH4 and CH4/N2 mixtures under dynamic conditions. Both materials were synthesized and pelletized, thus allowing for a meaningful characterization in view of process scale-up. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). By performing breakthrough experiments, we found that Cu3(BTC)2separated CO2/CH4 slightly better than MOF-5. Because the crystal structure of Cu3(BTC)2includes unsaturated accessible metal sites formed via dehydration, it predominantly interacted with CO2 molecules and more easily captured them. 12Geochemistry and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic characteristics of the Mugouriwang Cenozoic volcanic rocks from Tibetan Plateau:Constraints on mantle source of the underplated basic magma显示文摘The Mugouriwang Cenozoic volcanic rocks exposed in the north Qiangtang Block of Tibetan Plateau are mainly composed of basalt and andesitic-basalt,both characterized by the lower SiO2 (51%―54%),high refractory elements (i.e. Mg,Cr,Ni) as well as the moderate enrichment in light rare earth elements (LREE) relative to a slight depleted in Eu and high strength field elements (HFSE,i.e. Nb,Ta,Ti). Be-sides,the fairly low Sm/Yb value (3.07―4.35) could signify that the rocks should be derived directly from partial melting of the spinel lherzolite at the upper part of the asthenosphere. These rocks have radiogenic Sr and Pb (87Sr/86Sr = 0.705339 to 0.705667; 208Pb/204Pb = 38.8192 to 38.8937; 207Pb/204Pb = 15.6093 to 15.6245; 206Pb/204Pb = 18.6246 to 18.6383),and non-radiogenic Nd (143Nd/144Nd = 0.512604 to 0.512639; εNd = +0.02 to -0.66) in agreement with those values of the BSE mantle reservoir. The DUPAL anomaly of the rocks can be evidently attested by the △8/4Pb = 66.82 to 74.53 ,△7/4Pb = 9.88 to 11.42,△Sr>50,implying that the Mugouriwang volcanic rock is likely to be generated by partial melting of a Gondwana-bearing asthenospheric mantle ever matasomatised by the fluid from subduction zone. Depending on the previous study on the high-K calc-alkaline intermediate-felsic volcanics in the study area,this paper proposed that the fluids derived from the subducted Lhasa Block metasomatised the asthenosphere beneath the Qiangtang Block,and induced its partial melting,and then the melt under-plated the thickened Qiangtang lithosphere and caused the generation of the Cenozoic adakite-like felsic magmas in the Qiangtang region.LAI ShaoCong QIN JiangFeng LI YongFei LONG Ping 2007Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,7:7
13Two centuries of April-July temperature change in southeastern China and its influence on grain productivity显示文摘China is a traditional agriculture based country and one main region for crop production is southeastern China where temperature is a dominant climate variable affecting agriculture. Temperature and social disturbances both influence crop production, yet distinguishing their relative impacts is difficult due to a lack of reliable, high-resolution historical climatic records before the very recent period. Here we present the first tree-ring based warm-season temperature reconstruction for southeastern China, a core region of the East Asian monsoon, for the past 227 years. The reconstruction target was April-July mean temperature, and our model explained 60.6% of the observed temperature variance during 1953–2012.Spatial correlation analysis showed that the reconstruction is representative of April-July temperature change over most of eastern China. The reconstructed temperature series agrees well with China-scale(heavily weighted in eastern China) agricultural production index values quite well at decadal timescales.The impacts of social upheavals on food production, such as those in the period 1920–1949, were confirmed after climatic influences were excluded. 14CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4/N_2 separation on isomeric metal organic frameworks显示文摘Two isomeric metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) with 2-dimensional(2D) and 3-dimensional(3D) topologies both comprised of Cu(Ⅱ) and OTf(OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate) ions were synthesized and characterized.The CO_2,CH_4 and N_2 adsorption properties of the two isomeric MOFs were investigated from 263 K to 298 K at0.1 MPa.The results showed that the 2D MOF exhibited a higher selectivity for CO_2 from CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4from CH_4/N_2 compared to the 3D MOF,even though it possessed a lower surface area and pore volume.The higher adsorption heats of gases on the 2D MOF inferred the strong adsorption potential energy in the layered MOFs.Dynamic separation experiments using CO_2/CH_4 and CH_4/N_2 mixtures on the two MOFs proved that the2 D MOF had a longer elution time than the 3D MOF as well as better separation abilities.Xiaoqing Wang Libo Li Jiangfeng Yang Jinping Li 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,12:6
15Trophic Ecology of Sharks in the Mid-East Pacific Ocean Inferred from Stable Isotopes显示文摘As apex predators, sharks are of ecological and conservation importance in marine ecosystems. In this study, trophic positions of sharks were estimated using stable isotope ratios of carbon and nitrogen for five representative species caught by the Chinese longline fleet in the mid-east Pacific, i.e., the blue shark(Prionace glauca), the bigeye thresher shark(Alopias superciliosus), the silky shark(Carcharhinus falciformis), the scalloped hammerhead(Sphyrna lewini), and the oceanic whitetip shark(Carcharhinus longimanus). Of these species, oceanic whitetip shark has the lowest trophic level and mean δ15N value(3.9 and 14.93‰± 0.84‰), whereas bigeye thresher shark has the highest level/values(4.5 and 17.02‰± 1.21‰, respectively). The bigeye thresher shark has significantly higher δ15N value than other shark species, indicating its higher trophic position. The blue shark and oceanic whitetip shark has significantly higher δ13C values than bigeye thresher shark, silky shark and scalloped hammerhead, possibly due to different diets and/or living habitats. 17Blocking of the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction by a novel cyclic peptide inhibitor for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘The interaction of PD-1/PD-L1 allows tumor cells to escape from immune surveillance.Clinical success of the antibody drugs has proven that blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 pathway is a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy.Here,we developed a cyclic peptide C8 by using Ph.D.-C7 C phage display technology.C8 showed high binding affinity with h PD-1 and could effectively interfere the interaction of PD-1/PD-L1.Furthermore,C8 could stimulate CD8^(+)T cell activation in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs).We also observed that C8 could suppress tumor growth in CT26 and B16-OVA,as well as anti-PD-1 antibody resistant B16 mouse model.CD8^(+)T cells infiltration significantly increased in tumor microenvironment,and IFN-γsecretion by CD8^(+)T cells in draining lymph nodes also increased.Simultaneously,we exploited T cells depletion models and confirmed that C8 exerted anti-tumor effects via activating CD8^(+)T cells dependent manner.The interaction model of C8 with h PD-1 was simulated and confirmed by alanine scanning.In conclusion,C8 shows anti-tumor capability by blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 interaction,and C8 may provide an alternative candidate for cancer immunotherapy.Wenjie Zhai Xiuman Zhou Mingxia Zhai Wanqiong Li Yunhui Ran Yixuan Sun Jiangfeng Du Wenshan Zhao Lingxiao Xing Yuanming Qi Yanfeng Gao 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,4:5
18Geochemical characteristics of Bikou volcanic group and Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic composition: Evidence for breakup event in the north margin of Yangtze plate, Jining era显示文摘The geodynamic setting of the Bikou volcanic group is a critical question to trace the Precambrain tectonic framework and evolution for the Yangtze plate. This study has suggested that the Bikou volcanic group is composed of several residual oceanic crust units: MORB (mid-ocean ridge basalt), Alk-OIB (alkaline ocean island basalt) and Th-OIB (tholeiitic ocean island basalt) as well as subduction-related volcanic rocks. According to field observation, those distinct rocks occurred collectively in form of tectonic contact, implying that the Bikou volcanic group was an ophiolitic mélange. Coupled with geochronological data, a perished oceanic basin at the northern margin of the Yangtze block during Neoproterozoic was tested by this ophiolitic mélange. Meanwhile, the isogeochemical data suggest that the ocean occurred in the Southern Hemisphere identical to Indian, South Atlantic and South Pacific oceans in terms of their Dupal anomalies, and the original source of the rocks could be probably mixing by EMⅠand EMⅡ component caused by dehydration melting of subducting oceanic crust during subduction process. 19Radiation synthesis and characteristics of PTFE-g-PSSA ion exchange membrane applied in vanadium redox battery显示文摘Radiation-induced grafting of styrene onto polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes was studied by a simultaneous irradiation technique.Grafting was carded out usingγ-radiation from a ^(60)Co source at room temperature. Effects of absorbed dose,atmosphere,dose rate,and the concentration of initial monomer on the degree of grafting (DOG) were investigated and the most appropriate grafting condition was obtained.Subsequently,sulphonation of the grafted PTFE membrane (PTFE-g-PS) was carried out and a series of ion exchange membranes (PTFE-g-PSSA) was prepared.Further characterizations of FTIR,TGA,and SEM testified that grafting and sulphonation of the membranes were successfully processed;moreover,grafting of styrene not only occurred in the surface of PTFE membrane,but also in the micropores of the membrane.Ion exchange capacity (IEC) and conductivity were found increase with the grafting yield.The results suggest that at a low dose,such as 17 kGy,the ion exchange membrane (IEM) which will be suitable for vanadium redox battery (VRB) use can be obtained.PENG Jinfen QIU Jinyi NI Jiangfeng ZHAI Maolin XU Peng PENG Jing ZHOU Henghui LI Jiuqiang WEI Genshuan 2007Nuclear Science and Techniques2007,18,1:4
20Progress of the injection laser system of SG-Ⅱ显示文摘A high power laser system was used to drive the ignition of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), of which the high energy,the uniform focal spot, the accurate laser waveform, and the synchronization between the laser beams are key parameters.To accomplish this, global laser characteristics control should be assured, which was the main purpose of the injection laser system.
