6Modeling study on the roles of the deposition and transport of PM_(2.5) in air quality changes over central-eastern China显示文摘The role of PM_(2.5)(particles with aerodynamic diameters≤_(2.5)μm)deposition in air quality changes over China remains unclear.By using the three-year(2013,2015,and 2017)simulation results of the WRF/CUACE v1.0 model from a previous work(Zhang et al.,2021),a non-linear relationship between the deposition of PM_(2.5)and anthropogenic emissions over central-eastern China in cold seasons as well as in different life stages of haze events was unraveled.PM_(2.5)deposition is spatially distributed differently from PM_(2.5)concentrations and anthropogenic emissions over China.The North China Plain(NCP)is typically characterized by higher anthropogenic emissions compared to southern China,such as the middlelow reaches of Yangtze River(MLYR),which includes parts of the Yangtze River Delta and the Midwest.However,PM_(2.5)deposition in the NCP is significantly lower than that in the MLYR region,suggesting that in addition to meteorology and emissions,lower deposition is another important factor in the increase in haze levels.Regional transport of pollution in central-eastern China acts as a moderator of pollution levels in different regions,for example by bringing pollution from the NCP to the MLYR region in cold seasons.It was found that in typical haze events the deposition flux of PM_(2.5)during the removal stages is substantially higher than that in accumulation stages,with most of the PM_(2.5)being transported southward and deposited to the MLYR and Sichuan Basin region,corresponding to a latitude range of about 24°N-31°N.Lei Zhang Jianjun He Sunling Gong Xiaomei Guo Tianliang Zhao Huizheng Che Hong Wang Chunhong Zhou Jingyue Mo Ke Gui Yu Zheng Lei Li Junting Zhong Xiaoye Zhang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,1:0
7Molecular exchange and passivation at interface afford high-performing perovskite solar cells with efficiency over 24%显示文摘The interface is crucial for perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,voids at interfaces induced by the trapped hygroscopic dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)can reduce charge extraction and accelerate the film degradation,seriously damaging the efficiency and stability.In this work,4,4’-dinonyl-2,2’-dipyridine(DN-DP),a Lewis base with long alkyl chains is introduced to solve this problem.Theoretical calculated and experimental results confirm that the dipyridyl group on DN-DP can more strongly coordinate with Pb^(2+)than that of the S=O group on DMSO.The strong coordination effect plays a crucial role in removing the DMSO-based adduct and reducing the formation of voids.Due to the electron-donating properties of pyridine,the existence of DN-DP in the perovskite film can passivate the defects and optimize the energy level alignment of the perovskite configuration.The open-circuit voltage(VOC)of the DN-DP-based PSC is improved from 1.107 V(control device)to 1.153 V,giving rise to a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of24.02%.Furthermore,benefiting from the moisture resistance stemming from the hydrophobic nonyl group,the PCE retains 90.4%of the initial performance after 1000 h of storage in the ambient condition.Jianjun Sun Wangchao Chen Yingke Ren Yunjuan Niu Zhiqian Yang Li'e Mo Yang Huang Zhaoqian Li Hong Zhang Linhua Hu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7:0

9A Deep Learning Application for Building Damage Assessment Using Ultra-High-Resolution Remote Sensing Imagery in Turkey Earthquake显示文摘Rapid building damage assessment following an earthquake is important for humanitarian relief and disaster emergency responses.In February 2023,two magnitude-7.8 earthquakes struck Turkey in quick succession,impacting over 30 major cities across nearly 300 km.A quick and comprehensive understanding of the distribution of building damage is essential for e fficiently deploying rescue forces during critical rescue periods.This article presents the training of a two-stage convolutional neural network called BDANet that integrated image features captured before and after the disaster to evaluate the extent of building damage in Islahiye.Based on high-resolution remote sensing data from WorldView2,BDANet used predisaster imagery to extract building outlines;the image features before and after the disaster were then combined to conduct building damage assessment.We optimized these results to improve the accuracy of building edges and analyzed the damage to each building,and used population distribution information to estimate the population count and urgency of rescue at different disaster levels.The results indicate that the building area in the Islahiye region was 156.92 ha,with an affected area of 26.60 ha.Severely damaged buildings accounted for 15.67%of the total building area in the affected areas.WorldPop population distribution data indicated approximately 253,297,and 1,246 people in the collapsed,severely damaged,and lightly damaged areas,respectively.Accuracy verification showed that the BDANet model exhibited good performance in handling high-resolution images and can be used to directly assess building damage and provide rapid information for rescue operations in future disasters using model weights.Haobin Xia Jianjun Wu Jiaqi Yao Hong Zhu Adu Gong Jianhua Yang Liuru Hu Fan Mo 2023International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2023,14,6:0
