| 1 | Comparative analysis of four essential Gracilariaceae species in China based on whole transcriptomic sequencing显示文摘Three Gracilaria species,G.chouae,G.blodgettii,G.vermiculophylla and a close relative species,Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis which is now nominated as Gracilaria lemaneiformis,are the typically indigenous species which are important resources for the production of special proteins,phycobilisomes,special carbohydrates,and agar in China.In this study,de novo transcriptome sequencing on these four species using the next generation sequencing technology was performed for the first time.Functional annotations on assembled sequencing reads showed that the transcriptomic profiles were quite different between G.lemaneiformis and other three Gracilaria species.Comparative analysis of differential gene expression related to carbohydrate and phycobiliprotein metabolisms also showed that the expression profiles of these essential genes were different in four species.The genes encoding allophycocyanin,phycocyanin and phycoerythrin were further examined in four species and their deduced amino acid sequences were used for phylogenetic analysis to confirm that G.lemaneiformis had close relationship to genus Gracilaria,as well as that within genus Gracilaria,G.chouae had closer relationship to G.vermiculophylla rather than to G.blodgettii.The de novo transcriptome study on four species provided a valuable genomic resource for further understanding and analysis on biological and evolutionary study among marine algae. | XU Jiayue SUN Jing YIN Jinlong WANG Liang WANG Xumin LIU Tao CHI Shan LIU Cui REN Lufeng WU Shuangxiu YU Jun | 2014 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,2: | 3 |

| 5 | The role of varied metal protrusions on the conductor surfaces in corona discharge subjected to DC high voltages显示文摘Conductor corona performance is significant in the evaluation of electromagnetic environment for high voltage power transmission lines. The influence of artificial contaminated conductors on corona discharge was studied and turned out to be complicated. The ionized field strength on the corona cage was measured by field mill. Meanwhile, photos of corona plumes were photographed and grayed to quantitate the corona discharge intensity. Subsequently, a calculation model for equivalent electric field strength coefficient was established to evaluate the discharge intensity of conductors in coaxial cylindrical electrode. It could be found the computational results achieved an agreement with the observed experimental phenomena. By means of simulation results, a reasonable explanation was given to the finding that the closer the distance between the two protrusions was, the lower the corona discharge intensity and higher corona inception voltage of the conductors would be. | 9 | Laser-annealing-made amplified spontaneous emission of 'giant' CdSe/CdS core/shell nanocrystals transferred from bulk-like shell to quantum-confined core显示文摘'Giant' Cd Se/Cd S core/shell nanocrystals(NCs) were synthesized with thick Cd S shell(15 monolayers), and the x-ray diffraction(XRD) measurement indicates there is a zinc blende phase in the thick Cd S shell, whereas it transformed into wurtzite phase under 5 min radiation with a 400 nm, 594 μJ∕cm2femtosecond(fs) laser beam.The evolution of the NCs’ spontaneous emission under the fs laser radiation was recorded with a Hamamatsu streak camera. The as-synthesized NCs exhibit an amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) at 530 nm, which comes from a bulk-like Cd S shell due to the interfacial potential barrier, which could slow down the relaxation of holes from the shell to the core. After being annealed by an fs laser, the ASE of the g-NCs is transferred from a bulk-like Cd S shell to a quantum-confined Cd Se core because the phase transformation determined with the XRD measurement could remove the interfacial barrier. | 14 | Male heterogametic sex determination in Rana dybowskii based on sex-linked molecular markers显示文摘Identifying the mechanism for sex determination in amphibians is challenging.Very little is known about sex determination mechanisms of Rana dybowskii,a species of importance to evolutionary and conservation biology.We screened for sex-linked molecular markers in R.dybowskii in China using target region amplification polymorphism with 2 fixed primers against the sequences of Dmrt1.We found 2 male-linked molecular markers in R.dybowskii,which were 222 bp and 261 bp long.The detection rates of 222 bp marker in males form Xinglong,Huadian,and Dandong were 93.79%,69.64%,and 13.64%,respectively,while the rate in females from Huadian was 27.50%.Besides,the detection rates of 261 bp marker in the above 3 regions were only observed in males at the rate of 93.79%,87.50%,and 32.73%,respectively.The inheritance patterns of sex-linked molecular markers showed that the 2 sex-linked molecular markers were heterozygous.Compared to the XY-male parent,progeny from XX-pseudo-male parent possessed lower sex reversal ratio at the same rearing temperature,and the proportion of female froglets from an XX-pseudo-male parent was more than 95%at low rearing temperature(15°C).Our findings suggest that R.dybowskii displays male heterogamety,and the 2 sex-linked molecular markers may have a guiding significance for the protection and utilization of R.dybowskii. | Yuan XU Zhiheng DU Jiayu LIU Hang SU Fangyong NING Shiquan CUI Lijuan WANG Jianming LIU Chuanshuai REN Shengwei DI Xiujuan BAI | 2022 | Integrative Zoology2022,17,1: | 0 |
| 15 | Influences of the tank liquid lateral sloshing and mass time-varying on high clearance self-propelled sprayer ride comfort显示文摘To explore the influence of the lateral sloshing and the time-varying mass of the liquid in the tank on the ride comfort of the high-clearance sprayer,a spring-mass-damping equivalent mechanics that can describe the lateral sloshing of the liquid under different filling ratios was constructed based on the equivalent criterion.The Fluent was used to simulate the moment acting on the wall of the tank by the lateral sloshing of the liquid,and then the parameters of the equivalent mechanical model are obtained by fitting and solving.Comparative analysis of Fluent simulation and bench test on lateral sloshing of tank liquid under different filling ratios.The results show that the lateral sloshing trend of the tank liquid level obtained from the Fluent simulation and the bench test was consistent,which proved the accuracy of the Fluent fluid simulation process and the correctness of the required equivalent mechanical model parameters.Incorporating a liquid sloshing equivalent model,a four-degree-of-freedom vertical dynamic model of the sprayer half-car was established.Subsequently,the performance of the sprayer was systematically analyzed and compared under the excitation of a bump road and a random E-level road.This investigation took into account varying liquid filling ratios of 10%,50%,and 90%.The focus lay on evaluating the vertical acceleration of the sprayer body,dynamic deflection of the suspension,and dynamic load on the tires in response to these road conditions.This analysis is conducted independently of the liquid sloshing factor.The results show that the lateral sloshing of the liquid medicine significantly reduces the ride smoothness of the machine,and makes the vibration response of the machine produce a certain hysteresis effect.With the reduction of the quality of the liquid medicine in the spray tank,the vibration amplitude of the sprayer body gradually decreases,the hysteresis effect is also gradually weakened.The results presented in this study offer a theoretical foundation for the analysis of ride comfort and the optimization of chassis structure in high-clearance sprayers. | Liquan Lu Junchang Zhang Cui Cui Jun Chen Yu Chen Hongling Jing Shuo Zhang Sugirbay Adilet Chenwei Hu Jiayu Cao | 2024 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2024,17,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Hepatic Zbtb18 (Zinc Finger and BTB Domain Containing 18) alleviates hepatic steatohepatitis via FXR (Farnesoid X Receptor)显示文摘A lasting imbalance between fatty acid synthesis and consumption leads to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),coupled with hepatitis and insulin resistance.Yet the details of the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood.Here,we unraveled that the expression of the transcription factor Zbtb18 is markedly decreased in the livers of both patients and murine models of NAFLD.Hepatic Zbtb18 knockout promoted NAFLD features like impaired energy expenditure and fatty acid oxidation(FAO),and induced insulin resistance.Conversely,hepatic Zbtb18 overexpression alleviated hepato-steatosis,insulin resistance,and hyperglycemia in mice fed on a high-fat diet(HFD)or in diabetic mice.Notably,in vitro and in vivo mechanistic studies revealed that Zbtb18 transcriptional activation of Farnesoid X receptor(FXR)mediated FAO and Clathrin Heavy Chain(CLTC)protein hinders NLRP3 inflammasome activity.This key mechanism by which hepatocyte’s Zbtb18 expression alleviates NAFLD and consequent liver fibrosis was further verified by FXR’s deletion and forced expression in mice and cultured mouse primary hepatocytes(MPHs).Moreover,CLTC deletion significantly abrogated the hepatic Zbtb18 overexpression-driven inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activity in macrophages.Altogether,Zbtb18 transcriptionally activates the FXR-mediated FAO and CLTC expression,which inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome’s activity alleviating inflammatory stress and insulin resistance,representing an attractive remedy for hepatic steatosis and fibrosis. | Lei Zhang Jiabing Chen Xiaoying Yang Chuangpeng Shen Jiawen Huang Dong Zhang Naihua Liu Chaonan Liu Yadi Zhong Yingjian Chen Kaijia Tang Jingyi Guo Tianqi Cui Siwei Duan Jiayu Li Shangyi Huang Huafeng Pan Huabing Zhang Xiaoqiang Tang Yongsheng Chang Yong Gao | 2024 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2024,9,2: | 0 |

| 18 | On the thermodynamics of plasticity during quasi-isentropic compression of metallic glass显示文摘Entropy production in quasi-isentropic compression (QIC) is critically important for understanding the properties of materials under extremeconditions. However, the origin and accurate quantification of entropy in this situation remain long-standing challenges. In this work, a framework is established for the quantification of entropy production and partition, and their relation to microstructural change in QIC. Cu50Zr50is taken as a model material, and its compression is simulated by molecular dynamics. On the basis of atomistic simulation-informed physicalproperties and free energy, the thermodynamic path is recovered, and the entropy production and its relation to microstructural change aresuccessfully quantified by the proposed framework. Contrary to intuition, entropy production during QIC of metallic glasses is relativelyinsensitive to the strain rate ˙γ when ˙γ ranges from 7.5 × 10^(8) to 2 × 10^(9)/s, which are values reachable in QIC experiments, with a magnitudeof the order of 10^(−2)kB/atom per GPa. However, when ˙γ is extremely high (>2 × 10^(9)/s), a notable increase in entropy production rate with˙γ is observed. The Taylor–Quinney factor is found to vary with strain but not with strain rate in the simulated regime. It is demonstrated thatentropy production is dominated by the configurational part, compared with the vibrational part. In the rate-insensitive regime, the increase inconfigurational entropy exhibits a linear relation to the Shannon-entropic quantification of microstructural change, and a stretched exponential relation to the Taylor–Quinney factor. | 20 | Trap Characteristics and Their Temperature-dependence of Silicone Gel for Encapsulation in IGBT Power Modules显示文摘Silicone gel is a prevailing material for encapsulation in insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)power modules.The space charge transport behavior in silicone gel is significant to evaluate the electrical insulation characteristics.This paper focuses on the trap characteristics and electrical properties of the silicone gel,which were rarely studied before.The experiments are performed on the surface potential decay of silicone gel after the charge injection.Then,the energy distributions of electron or hole traps are determined by a double-trap energy level model,which can be fitted by the Gaussian distribution.In addition,the mobilities of positive and negative charges are determined,which are 1.38×10^(-12) m^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1) and 1.74×10^(12) m^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,considering the heat as a byproduct resulting in thermal issues,the temperature-dependence of surface potential decay characteristics are also studied in this paper.When temperature rises,the decay rate of surface potential increases,especially when the temperature is higher than 80℃.Finally,the contrastive analysis illustrates that the trap characteristics of silicone gel are between the trap characteristics in liquid-state material and solid-state material,which supports the phenomenon that silicone gel is more resistive to the sharp edges in power modules.This work can provide a useful reference for the design of encapsulation in high-voltage IGBT power modules. | Jiayu Xu Xuebao Li Xiang Cui Zhibin Zhao Shenyang Mo Bing Ji | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,3: | 0 |
