| 1 | Polymorphisms of chemokine receptors and its ligand alleles influencing genetic suscepti-bity to HIV-1 infection in eight ethnic groups in Chinese mainland显示文摘Limited genetic information is available concerning the polymorphisms of HIV-1 resistant genes in indigenous Chinese populations. The aim of this study is to identify the allelic frequencies of the chemokine and chemokine receptor genes in the Chinese mainland. Genomic DNA samples extracted from whole blood of 2318 subjects were analyzed by using PCR or PCR/restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) assays, and further confirmed by direct DNA sequencing. Higher frequencies of mutant CCR2-64I (19.15%-28.79%) and SDF1-3’A (19.10% -29.86%) alleles were found in subjects of 8 ethnic groups in the Chinese mainland. In contrast, the △32 mutation in CCRS gene occurs at a very low frequency (0.0016, n=1287) in Han population. A relatively high frequency of CCR5-wt/△32 heterozygotes was observed in Uygurian and Mongolian populations. No A32 mutation allele was detected in Tibetan and other 4 ethnic groups in Yunnan Province. | 2 | A novel hydrogen peroxide biosensor based on the BPT/AuNPs/graphene/HRP composite显示文摘A novel hydrogen peroxide biosensor based on the BPT/AuNPs/graphene/HRP composite was developed. Firstly, graphene was prepared under the protection of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), and then the AuNPs/graphene composite was synthesized via in situ decoration. Using biphenyldimethanethiol (BPT) as a connector, the AuNPs/graphene composite was immobilized on the surface of the Au electrode, and whereafter the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was decorated on the surface of the composite by adsorption. The morphology and structure of the products were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and UV-visible spectroscopy. The electrocatalytic performance of the resulting BPT/AuNPs/grapheme/HRP composite (namely, biosensor) was studied by electrochemical instrument. The results show that the biosensor has high sensitivity and fast response to H2O2. | 8 | Spatiotemporal variation and driving factors of water yield services on the Qingzang Plateau显示文摘Water resources are a basic need for social sustainable development and human existence.As an important national strategy for water resources security,spatial and temporal patterns and driving mechanisms of water yield ecosystem services on the Qingzang Plateau(QP)are critical for water resources management,optimal water allocation and the improvement of ecological water protection efficiency.However,only a few relevant studies are currently available.In this study,we simulated the water yield(WY)of the QP over 34 years,from 1982 to 2015,using the InVEST model and analyzed the spatiotemporal dynamic relationships between WY and climate change as well as between WY and vegetation change,using geographically weighted regression(GWR)models.The results showed that:1)from 1982 to 2015,the WY of the QP increased at an average rate of 3.8 mm/yr;2)WY presented a reduced spatial pattern from southeast to northwest;and 3)the WY driving factors have individual and spatial differences.In terms of the area percentage in promoting WY when analyzing each driving factor,precipitation(99.8%)and air pressure(53.3%)played the major roles in promoting WY,while temperature(71.9%),wind speed(57.2%),net primary productivity(87.2%),radiation(68.3%)and lake(87.7%)played negative roles.The areas where WY are dominated by temperature are the largest(41.1%),and followed by areas dominated by pressure(19.7%)and precipitation(18.5%).The results of this study provide scientific support for formulating regional water resources policy,social and economic development planning and other macro decisions for the QP. | Xiaofeng Wang Bingyang Chu Xiaoming Feng Yuehao Li Bojie Fu Shirong Liu Jiming Jin | 2021 | Geography and Sustainability2021,2,1: | 1 |

| 10 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. | 13 | Spatiotemporal variation in water footprint of grain production in China显示文摘Water shortage has become a significant constraint to grain production in China.A more holistic approach is needed to understand the links between grain production and water consumption.Water footprint provides a framework to assess water utilization in agriculture production.This paper analyzes the spatiotemporal variation in water footprint of grain production(WFGP)in China from 1951 to 2010.The results show that,jointly motivated by the improvement of agricultural production and water use efficiency,WFGP in all areas showed a decreasing trend.National average WFGP has decreased from 3.38 to 1.31 m^(3)·kg^(–1).Due to regional differences in agricultural production and water use efficiency,spatial distribution of WFGP varies significantly and its pattern has changed through time.Moreover,WFGP may show significant differences within areas of similar climatic conditions and agricultural practices,indicating that there is a strong need to improve the management of water use technology.Statistical analysis revealed that regional differences in grain yield are the main cause for variations in spatiotemporal WFGP.However,the scope for further increases in grain yield is limited,and thus,the future goal of reducing WFGP is to decrease the water use per unit area. | Pute WU Yubao WANG Xining ZHAO Shikun SUN Jiming JIN | 2015 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2015,2,2: | 1 |
