| 1 | Principle and simulation of coherent interference suppression by a three-sensor array显示文摘The Principles of coherent interference suppression are presented by a three-sensor array. The formulae of extracting expected signals from strong interference are derived. The selection of sensor space is discussed and then relationships between the space and frequency point, at which the signals can be extracted, are given. When expected signals are band- limit, the conditions of the selected sensor space, which should be satisfied, are given. Lastly, Performance of interference suppression is analyzed when the amplitude of interference power spectra of signals Received by three sensors fluctuates, and the expressions of relative error of the extracted signals and processing gain are derived. | 6 | Power flows of three non-conservatively series-coupled oscillators, Part Ⅱ: Numerical analysis显示文摘The direct and indirect power flows among three non-conservatively series-coupled oscillators subjected to random forces have been investigated by the numerical method. The relationship between the power flows and the parameters of the oscillators and couplings have been studied. It is shown that the indirect power flow is caused by the resonant transmission between the indirectly coupled oscillators. Once the parameters of the oscillator elements have been settled, the indirect power flow is mainly determined by the coupling stiffness k3 and k4, and is less infiuenced by coupling dampings c3 and c4. The indirect power flow cannot be ignored in strong coupling conditions. | 7 | Analysis of the causes of formation of negative loss factors显示文摘Based on classical energy balance equations for two coupled systems in Statistical Energy Analyis (SEA), the possibility of causing negative loss factors in measuring SEA parameters by using the equations is analyzed. The physical causes of formation of negative loss factors are theoretically invstigated by vibration analysis of the two non-conservatively coupled oscillator sets. Mom the analytical results, it is shown that the necessary condition of foedng negatbo loss factors is that the coupling of the coupled systems is non-conservative and strong and the suffiient condition is that the excitation frequency of the external force is not equal to the natural frequencies of the two oscillators at the sam tAne or the parameters of the two oscillators are much different. | 19 | On the application of wavelet transform to the solution of integral equations for acoustic radiation and scattering显示文摘The application of wavelets is explored to solve acoustic radiation and scattering problems. A new wavelet approach is presented for solving two-dimensional and axisymmetric acoustic problems. It is different from the previous methods in which Galerkin formulation or wavelet matrix transform approach is used. The boundary quantities are expended in terms of a basis of the periodic, orthogonal wavelets on the interval. Using wavelet transform leads a highly sparse matrix system. It can avoid an additional integration in Galerkin formulation, which may be very computationally expensive. The techniques of the singular integrals in two-dimensional and axisymmetric wavelet formulation are proposed. The new method can solve the boundary value problems with Dirichlet, Neumann and mixed conditions and treat axisymmetric bodies with arbitrary boundary conditions. It can be suitable for the solution at large wave numbers. A series of numerical examples are given.
