1Designandconstructionof athree-dimensionalelectrodewith biomass-derived carbon current collector andwater-soluble binder for high-sulfur-loading lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries attract lots of attention due to their high specific capacity,low cost,and environmental friendliness.However,the low sulfur utilization and short cycle life extremely hinder their application.Herein,we design and fabricate a three-dimensional electrode by a simple filtration method to achieve a high-sulfur loading.Biomass porous carbon is employed as a current collector,which not only enhances the electronic transport but also effectively limits the volume expansion of the active material.Meanwhile,an optimized carboxymethyl cellulose binder is chosen.The chemical bonding restricts the shuttle effect,leading to improved electrochemical performance.Under the ultrahigh sulfur load of 28mg/cm2,the high capacity of 18mAh/cm2 is still maintained,and stable cycling performance is obtained.This study demonstrates a viable strategy to develop promising lithium-sulfur batteries with a three-dimensional electrode,which promotes sulfur loading and electrochemical performance.Pengfei Wang Zhe Gong Ke Ye Vipin Kumar Kai Zhu Linna Sha Jun Yan Jinling Yin Kui Cheng Guiling Wang Dianxue Cao 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,4:3
2Organic 3D interconnected graphene aerogel as cathode materials for high-performance aqueous zinc ion battery显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable zinc ion batteries are very attractive in large-scale storage applications,because they have high safety,low cost and good durability.Nonetheless,their advancements are hindered by a dearth of positive host materials(cathode)due to sluggish diffusion of Zn2+in the solid inorganic frameworks.Here,we report a novel organic electrode material of poly 3,4,9,10-perylentetracarboxylic dianhydride(PPTCDA)/graphene aerogel(GA).The 3D interconnected porous architecture synthesized through a simple solvothermal reaction,where the PPTCDA is homogenously embedded in the GA nanosheets.The self-assembly of PPTCDA/GA coin-type cell will not only significantly improve the durability and extend lifetime of the devices,but also reduce the electronic waste and economic cost.The self-assembled structure does not require the auxiliary electrode and conductive agent to prepare the electrode material,which is a simple method for preparing the coin-type cell and a foundation for the next large-scale production.The PPTCDA/GA delivers a high capacity of≥200 m Ah g^–1 with the voltage of 0.0~1.5 V.After 300 cycles,the capacity retention rate still close to 100%.The discussion on the mechanism of Zn2+intercalation/deintercalation in the PPTCDA/GA electrode is explored by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)characterizations.The morphology and structure of PPTCDA/GA are examined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Ruibai Cang Ke Ye Kai Zhu Jun Yan Jinling Yin Kui Cheng Guiling Wang Dianxue Cao 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,6:2
3MXene-Derived Defect-Rich TiO2@rGO as High-Rate Anodes for Full Na Ion Batteries and Capacitors显示文摘Sodium ion batteries and capacitors have demonstrated their potential applications for next-generation low-cost energy storage devices.These devices’s rate ability is determined by the fast sodium ion storage behavior in electrode materials.Herein,a defective TiO2@reduced graphene oxide(M-TiO2@rGO)self-supporting foam electrode is constructed via a facile MXene decomposition and graphene oxide self-assembling process.The employment of the MXene parent phase exhibits distinctive advantages,enabling defect engineering,nanoengineering,and fluorine-doped metal oxides.As a result,the M-TiO2@rGO electrode shows a pseudocapacitance-dominated hybrid sodium storage mechanism.The pseudocapacitance-dominated process leads to high capacity,remarkable rate ability,and superior cycling performance.Significantly,an M-TiO2@rGO//Na3 V2(PO4)3 sodium full cell and an M-TiO2@rGO//HPAC sodium ion capacitor are fabricated to demonstrate the promising application of M-TiO2@rGO.The sodium ion battery presents a capacity of 177.1 mAh g-1 at 500 mA g-1 and capacity retention of 74%after 200 cycles.The sodium ion capacitor delivers a maximum energy density of 101.2 Wh kg-1 and a maximum power density of 10,103.7 W kg-1.At 1.0 A g-1,it displays an energy retention of 84.7%after 10,000 cycles.Yongzheng Fang Yingying Zhang Chenxu Miao Kai Zhu Yong Chen Fei Du Jinling Yin Ke Ye Kui Cheng Jun Yan Guiling Wang Dianxue Cao 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,10:2

5Kinetics of steam regeneration of SAPO-34 zeolite catalyst in methanol-to-olefins(MTO) process显示文摘Methanol-to-olefins(MTO)is industrially applied to produce ethylene and propylene using methanol converted from coal,synthetic gas,and biomass.SAPO-34 zeolites,as the most efficient catalyst in MTO process,are subject to the rapid deactivation due to coke deposition.Recent work shows that steam regeneration can provide advantages such as low carbon dioxide emission and enhanced light olefins yield in MTO process,compared to that by air regeneration.A kinetic study on the steam regeneration of spent SAPO-34 catalyst has been carried out in this work.In doing so,we first investigated the effect of temperature on the regeneration performance by monitoring the crystal structure,acidity,residual coke properties and other structural parameters.The results show that with the increase of regeneration temperature,the compositions of residual coke on the catalyst change from pyrene and phenanthrene to naphthalene,which are normally considered as active hydrocarbon pool species in MTO reaction.However,when the regeneration temperature is too high,nitrogen oxides can be found in the residual coke.Meanwhile,as the regeneration temperature increases,the quantity of residual coke reduces and the acidity,BET surface area and pore structure of the regenerated samples can be better recovered,resulting in prolonging catalyst lifetime.We have further derived the kinetics of steam regeneration,and obtained an activation energy of about 177.8 kJ·mol^(-1).Compared that with air regeneration,the activation energy of steam regeneration is higher,indicating that the steam regeneration process is more difficult to occur.Huaiqing An Hua Li Jibin Zhou Jinling Zhang Tao Zhang Mao Ye Zhongmin Liu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:1

7Neuronal differentiation effects of vascular endothelial factor on bone marrow stromal cells显示文摘BACKGROUND:Studies have demonstrated that bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) undergo neuronal differentiation under certain in vitro conditions.However,very few inducers of BMSC differentiation have been used in clinical application.The effects of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on in vitro neuronal differentiation of BMSCs remain poorly understood.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of VEGF on neuronal differentiation of BMSCs in vitro,and to determine the best VEGF concentration for experimental induction.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:In vitro comparative study was performed at the Central Laboratory and Laboratory of Male Reproductive Medicine,Shenzhen Hospital of Peking University from October 2008 to August 2009.MATERIALS:Recombinant human VEGF165 was purchased from Peprotech Asia,Rehovot,Israel.Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) was purchased from Beijing Biosynthesis Biotechnology,China.METHODS:BMSCs were harvested from adult Sprague Dawley rats.The passaged cells were pre-induced with 10 ng/mL basic fibroblast growth factor for 24 hours,followed by differentiation induction with 0,5,10,and 20 ng/mL VEGF,respectively.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Morphological changes in BMSCs prior to and following VEGF induction.Expression of NSE following induction was determined by immunocytochemistry.RESULTS:Shrunken,round cells,with a strong refraction and thin bipolar or multipolar primary and secondary branches were observed 3 days after induction with 5,10,and 20 ng/mL VEGF.However,these changes were not observed in the control group.At 10 days after induction,the number of NSE-positive cells was greatest in the 10 ng/mL VEGF-treated group (P < 0.05).The number of NSE-positive cells was least in the control group at 3 and 10 days post-induction (P < 0.05).Moreover,the number of NSE-positive cells was greater at 10 days compared with at 3 days after induction (P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Of the VEGF concentrations tested,10 ng/mL induced the greatest number of neuronal-like cells in vitro from BMSCs.Li Yi Qiaoyun Liu Jinling Han Jing Ye Fangting Zhang Guanghui Cui Zhuqing Zhou 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,9:1
8Spatial Distribution of Parvalbumin-Positive Fibers in the Mouse Brain and Their Alterations in Mouse Models of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and Parkinson’s Disease显示文摘Parvalbumin interneurons belong to the major types of GABAergic interneurons.Although the distribution and pathological alterations of parvalbumin interneuron somata have been widely studied,the distribution and vulnerability of the neurites and fibers extending from parvalbumin interneurons have not been detailly interrogated.Through the Cre recombinase-reporter system,we visualized parvalbumin-positive fibers and thoroughly investigated their spatial distribution in the mouse brain.We found that parvalbumin fibers are widely distributed in the brain with specific morphological characteristics in different regions,among which the cortex and thalamus exhibited the most intense parvalbumin signals.In regions such as the striatum and optic tract,even long-range thick parvalbumin projections were detected.Furthermore,in mouse models of temporal lobe epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease,parvalbumin fibers suffered both massive and subtle morphological alterations.Our study provides an overview of parvalbumin fibers in the brain and emphasizes the potential pathological implications of parvalbumin fiber alterations.Changgeng Song Yan Zhao Jiajia Zhang Ziyi Dong Xin Kang Yuqi Pan Jinle Du Yiting Gao Haifeng Zhang Ye Xi Hui Ding Fang Kuang Wenting Wang Ceng Luo Zhengping Zhang Qinpeng Zhao Jiazhou Yang Wen Jiang Shengxi Wu Fang Gao 2023Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,11:0

10Conodonts and Carbon Isotopes during the Permian-Triassic Transition on the Napo Platform, South China显示文摘Two Permian-Triassic boundary(PTB) sections(Pojue and Dala) are well exposed in an isolated carbonate platform(Napo Platform) on the southwestern margin of the Nanpanjiang Basin, South China. These sections provide an insight into the transition across the PTB and a detailed investigation of the conodont biostratigraphy and inorganic carbon isotopes is presented. The PTB at the Pojue Section is placed at the base of Bed 10 B(a dolomitized mudstone found below a microbialite horizon), defined by the first occurrence of Hindeodus parvus. At the Dala Section, four conodont zones occur. They are, in ascending order, the Hindeodus parvus Zone, Isarcicella staeschei Zone, Isarcicella isarcica Zone and Clarkina planata Zone. Comparison with the Pojue Section suggests the PTB at Dala also occurs at the base of dolomitized mudstone below a microbialite horizon, although the first occurrence of Hindeodus parvus is near the top of a microbialite bed: an occurrence that is also seen in other platform sections. The succeeding microbialite beds developed during the ongoing PTB mass extinction phase. 11Dietary supplementation of bilberry anthocyanin on growth performance,intestinal mucosal barrier and cecal microbes of chickens challenged with Salmonella Typhimurium显示文摘Background Anthocyanins(AC)showed positive effects on improving the intestinal health and alleviating intestinal pathogen infections,therefore,an experiment was conducted to explore the protective effects of supplemented AC on Salmonella-infected chickens.Methods A total of 240 hatchling chickens were randomly allocated to 4 treatments,each with 6 replicates.Birds were fed a basal diet supplemented with 0(CON,and ST),100(ACL)and 400(ACH)mg/kg of AC for d 60,and orally challenged with PBS(CON)or 10^(9) CFU/bird(ST,ACL,ACH)Salmonella Typhimurium at d 14 and 16.Results(1)Compared with birds in ST,AC supplementation increased the body weight(BW)at d 18 and the average daily gain(ADG)from d 1 to 18 of the Salmonella-infected chickens(P<0.05);(2)AC decreased the number of Salmonella cells in the liver and spleen,the contents of NO in plasma and inflammatory cytokines in ileal mucosa of Salmonella-infected chickens(P<0.05);(3)Salmonella infection decreased the ileal villi height,villi height to crypt depth(V/C),and the expression of zonulaoccludins-1(ZO-1),claudin-1,occludin,and mucin 2(MUC2)in ileal mucosa.AC supplementation relieved these adverse effects,and decreased ileal crypt depth(P<0.05);(4)In cecal microbiota of Salmonella-infected chickens,AC increased(P<0.05)the alpha-diversity(Chao1,Pd,Shannon and Sobs indexes)and the relative abundance of Firmicutes,and decreased(P<0.05)the relative abundance of Proteobacteria and Bacteroidota and the enrichment of drug antimicrobial resistance,infectious bacterial disease,and immune disease pathways.Conclusions Dietary AC protected chicken against Salmonella infection via inhibiting the Salmonella colonization in liver and spleen,suppressing secretion of inflammatory cytokines,up-regulating the expression of ileal barrier-related genes,and ameliorating the composition and function of cecal microbes.Under conditions here used,100 mg/kg bilberry anthocyanin was recommended.Sheng Zhang Yibing Wang Jinling Ye Qiuli Fan Xiajing Lin Zhongyong Gou Shouqun Jiang 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,3:0
12Successful clearance of persistent SARS-CoV-2 asymptomatic infection following a single dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine显示文摘Persistent asymptomatic(PA)SARS-CoV-2 infections have been identified.The immune responses in these patients are unclear,and the development of effective treatments for these patients is needed.Here,we report a cohort of 23 PA cases carrying viral RNA for up to 191 days.PA cases displayed low levels of inflammatory and interferon response,weak antibody response,diminished circulating follicular helper T cells(cTfh),and inadequate specific CD4+and CD8+T-cell responses during infection,which is distinct from symptomatic infections and resembling impaired immune activation.Administration of a single dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine to 10 of these PA cases elicited rapid and robust antibody responses as well as coordinated B-cell and cTfh responses,resulting in successful viral clearance.Vaccine-induced antibodies were able to neutralize various variants of concern and persisted for over 6 months,indicating long-term protection.Therefore,our study provides an insight into the immune status of PA infections and highlights vaccination as a potential treatment for prolonged SARS-CoV-2 infections.Shaofu Qiu Zhao Chen Airu Zhu Qiuhui Zeng Hongbo Liu Xiaoqing Liu Feng Ye Yingkang Jin Jie Wu Chaojie Yang Qi Wang Fangli Chen Lan Chen Sai Tian Xinying Du Qingtao Hu Jinling Cheng Canjie Chen Fang Li Jing Sun Yanqun Wang Jingxian Zhao Jincun Zhao Hongbin Song 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:0
