2Yield and Quality Response of Cucumber to Irrigation and Nitrogen Fertilization Under Subsurface Drip Irrigation in Solar Greenhouse显示文摘The aims of this research were to compare subsurface drip irrigation scheduling and nitrogen fertilization rates in cucumber, and evaluate yield and quality of cucumber fruit, water (WUE), irrigation water (IWUE), and nitrogen use (NUE) efficiencies in the solar greenhouse in Southwest China. The irrigation water amounts were determined based on the 20 cm diameter pan (Ep) placed over the crop canopy, and cucumber plant was subjected to three irrigation water levels (I1, 0.6 Ep; I2, 0.8 Ep; and I3, 1.0 Ep) in interaction with three nitrogen fertilization levels (N1, 300 kg ha-1; N2, 450 kg ha-1; and N3, 600 kg ha-1). The results showed that the cucumber fruit yield increased with the improvement of irrigation water. Irrigation water increased yields by increasing the mean weight of the fruits, and also by increasing fruit number. But the highest values of IWUE and WUE were obtained from I2 treatment. NUE significantly decreased with the improvement of N application, but increased by irrigating more water. The quality of cucumber fruit decreased with the improvement irrigation water and nitrogen fertilization. In conclusion, the optimum irrigation level and nitrogen fertilizer application level for cucunber under subsurface drip irrigation in the solar greenhouse in Southwest China were 0.8 Ep and 450 and 600 kg ha-1, respectively.ZHANG He-xi CHI Dao-cai WANG Qun FANG Jun FANG Xiao-yu 2011Agricultural Sciences in China2011,10,6:32
3Heat-sensitive moxibustion for lumbar disc herniation:a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).METHODS:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) involving heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of LDH were retrieved from the Chinese Biological Medical Literature database(1978-20011),Weipu database(1989-2011),Wanfang digital journal(1998-2011),China National Knowledge Internet(1979-2011),PubMed(1966-2011),EMBASE(1980-2011),and Cochrane Library(Issue 1,2011).Hand-search of the relevant journals from the Library of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was also adopted for the collection of data.Data were extracted and evaluated by two reviewers independently with a specially designed extraction form.The Cochrane Collaboration's RevMan 5.0.20 software was used for data analyses.RESULTS:A total of 6 trials involving 580 patients were included.Meta-analysis showed that the total effectiveness rate in the heat-sensitive moxibustion group was significantly different when compared with conventional moxibustion [RR=1.19,95% CI [1.06,1.33)] and diclofenac sodium [RR=1.47,95% CI [1.17,1.85)],but similar to that of acupuncture.The cure rate in the heat-sensitive moxibustion group was significantly different when compared with conventional moxibustion [RR=1.58,95% CI(1.04,2.40)] and diclofenac sodium [RR=1.91,95% CI(1.01,3.60)],but similar with that of acupuncture.In terms of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association scores,significant differences were noted in subjective indices,objective indices,and daily life subscales.Two trials reported that there were no adverse events over the duration of treatment.CONCLUSION:Compared with conventional moxibustion,acupuncture,and diclofenac sodium,heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of LDH is superior in efficacy.Further large-scale trials are required to define the role of heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of this disease.Rixin Chen Jun Xiong Zhenhai Chi Bo Zhang 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3:33
4Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating on plagiogranite from Kuerti ophiolite in Altay,North Xinjiang显示文摘Field observation, petrological and geochemical characteristics of plagiogranite from Kuerti ophiolite indicate a similar origin to those in shearing zones. It isderived from partial melting of amphibolite that is developed from gabbro within the ocean layer 3 shear zone by the low-angle shearing deformation during the oceanic crustmigrating process. Zircon SHRIMP age of 372±19 Ma for the plagioganite from Kuerti ophiolite indicates that thisophiolite formed in the Devonian period and it alsorepresented the time of extension of the Kuerti backarc basin that is relevant to the northwards subduction of thePaleo-Asian oceanic crust. 6NUMERICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON LIQUID-SOLID FLOW IN A HYDROCYCLONE显示文摘Hydrocyclones are widely used in industry,of which the geometrical design using CFD techniques is gaining more popularity in recent years. In this study,the Euler-Euler approach and the Reynolds stress model are applied to simulate the liquid-solid flowfield in a hydrocyclone. The methodology is validated by a good agreement between experimental data and numerical results. Within the research range,the simulation indicates that the liquid-solid separation mainly occurs in the conical segment,and increasing conical height or decreasing cylindrical height helps to improve the grade efficiencies of solid particles. Based on these results,two of the same hydrocyclones are designed and installed in series to establish a liquid-solid separation system. Many experiments are then conducted under different conditions,in which the effects of the water cut and the second hydrocyclone on the separation are investigated. 8Synthesis of novel nanomaterials and their application in efficient removal of radionuclides显示文摘With the development of nuclear energy, large amounts of radionuclides are inevitably released into the natural environment. It is necessary to eliminate radionuclides from wastewater for the protection of environment. Nanomaterials have been considered as the potential candidates for the effective and selective removal of radionuclides from aqueous solutions under complicated conditions because of their high specific surface area, large amounts of binding sites, abundant functional groups, pore-size controllable and easily surface modification. This review mainly summarized the recent studies for the synthesis, fabrication and surface modification of novel nanomaterials and their applications in the efficient elimination and solidification of radionuclides,and discussed the interaction mechanisms from batch experiments, spectroscopy analysis and theoretical calculations. 9OIL-WATER TWO-PHASE FLOW INSIDE T-JUNCTION显示文摘The oil/water two-phase flow inside T-junctions was numerically simulated with a 3-D two-fluid model, and the turbulence was described using the mixture k-ε model. Some experiments of oil/water flow inside a single T-junction were conducted in the laboratory. The results show that the separating performance of T-junction largely depends on the inlet volumetric fraction and flow patterns. 11Reduced graphene oxide-nano zero value iron(rGO-nZVI) micro-electrolysis accelerating Cr(Ⅵ) removal in aquifer显示文摘Nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI) assembled on graphene oxide(GO)(rGO-nZVI) composites were synthesized by reduction of GO and ferrous ions with potassium borohydride,for use in Cr(VI) removal from aqueous solution.The results showed that the two-dimensional structure of GO could provide a skeleton support for Fe^0,thus overcoming the bottleneck of aggregation for nZVI.Also,rGO-nZVI would form a ferric-carbon micro-electrolysis system in Cr(VI)-contaminated aquifers,enhancing and accelerating electron transfer,exhibiting high rate and capacity for Cr(VI) removal.The optimum dosage of the applied r GO-nZVI was linearly correlated with the initial Cr(VI) concentration.Characterization of rGO-nZVI before and after reaction with Cr(VI) revealed the process of Cr(VI) removal:r GO-nZVI firstly transferred electrons from Fe^0 cores via their Fe(II)/Fe(III) shells to the GO sheet;there,negatively charged Cr(VI) received electrons and changed into positively charged Cr(III),which was adsorbed by the negatively charged GO sheet,avoiding the capping and passivating of nZVI.rGO-nZVI formed a good electrically conductive network,and thus had long-term electron releasing properties,which was important for groundwater remediation.Liming Ren Jun Dong Zifang Chi Huazheng Huang 2018Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,11:12
12Effectiveness and safety of heat-sensitive moxibustion on bronchial asthma:a Meta-analysis of randomized control trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of heat-sensitive moxibustion(HSM)onasthma.METHODS: Large databases in China and overseas were searched by electronic and manual means to collect information on randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Two evaluators independently extracted data and evaluated the quality of RCTs according to Cochrane Review Handbook v5.0. RevMan v5.0.20 was used for statisticalanalyses.RESULTS: Fourteen RCTs involving 637 patients were collected.Thirteen RCTs compared the effects of HSM and Western Medicine. After 3-month treatment and after 6-month follow-up, there was no significant difference in effective rate [relative risk(RR)=1.01, 95% CI(0.92, 1.12), and 1.12,(0.93, 1.36),respectively], in the asthma control test score of asthma symptoms [weighted mean difference(WMD)=﹣1.54, 95% CI(﹣3.54, 0.47), and 1.41,(﹣0.48, 3.29), respectively] and in the forced expiratory volumein 1 second(FEV1)and peak expiratory flow(PEF). One RCT compared the effect of HSM with warm-suspended moxibustion. After 6-month follow-up, there was a significant difference in FEV1 and PEF [WMD=0.51, 95% CI(0.10, 0.92), and 1.78,(1.06, 2.50), respectively]. After 3-month treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups. One RCT compared the effect of HSM with acupoint application. After 3-month treatment, there was no significant difference in the effectiverate[RR=0.68,95%CI(0.42,1.12)].CONCLUSION: HSM did not show superiority to conventional Western Medicine and acupoint application in terms of curative effects, and may be superior to warm-suspended moxibustion with regard to long-term curative effects. 13In vitro corrosion resistance of a Ta2O5 nanofilm on MAO coated magnesium alloy AZ31 by atomic layer deposition显示文摘Micro-arc oxidation(MAO)coating with outstanding adhesion strength to Mg alloys has attracted more and more attention.However,owing to the porous structure,aggressive ions easily invaded the MAO/substrate interface through the through pores,limiting long-term corrosion resistance.Therefore,a dense and biocompatible tantalum oxide(Ta2O5)nanofilm was deposited on MAO coated Mg alloy AZ31 through atomic layer deposition(ALD)technique to seal the micropores and regulate the degradation rate.Surface micrography,chemical compositions and crystallographic structure were characterized using FE-SEM,EDS,XPS and XRD.The corrosion resistance of all samples was evaluated through electrochemical and hydrogen evolution tests.Results revealed that the Ta2O5 film mainly existed in the form of amorphousness.Moreover,uniform deposition of Ta2O5 film and effective sealing of micropores and microcracks in MAO coating were achieved.The current density(icorr)of the composite coating decreased three orders of magnitude than that of the substrate and MAO coating,improving corrosion resistance.Besides,the formation and corrosion resistance mechanisms of the composite coating were proposed.Chang-Yang Li Chi Yu Rong-Chang Zeng Bo-Cheng Zhang Lan-Yue Cui Jun Wan Yang Xia 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,1:11
14Negative reflection and negative surface wave conversion from obliquely incident electromagnetic waves显示文摘Complete control of spatially propagating waves(PWs)and surface waves(SWs)is an ultimate goal that scientists and engineers seek for,in which negative reflection of PW and negative surface wave are two exotic phenomena.Here,we experimentally demonstrate an anisotropic digital coding metasurface capable of controlling both PWs and SWs with a single coding pattern.On the basis of the digital description of coding metasurfaces,a simple coding method is proposed to allow dual functionalities(either PW or SW manipulations)under two orthogonal polarizations at arbitrarily oblique incidences,thus improving the adaptability of digital coding metasurfaces in more practical circumstances.With elaborately designed ellipse-shaped coding particles,we experimentally demonstrate various functions under oblique incidences,including the negative reflection of PW,negative SW,anomalous reflection and their arbitrary combinations,all having good agreements with theoretical and numerical predictions.We believe that the proposed method may enable the digital coding metasurfaces to have broad applications in radar detections,wireless communications and imaging.Shuo Liu Tie Jun Cui Ahsan Noor Zui Tao Hao Chi Zhang Guo Dong Bai Yan Yang Xiao Yang Zhou 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:10

16Hormone modulation of legume-rhizobial symbiosis显示文摘Leguminous plants can establish symbiotic associations with diazotropic rhizobia to form nitrogenfixating nodules, which are classified as determinate or indeterminate based on the persistence of nodule meristem. The formation of nitrogen-fixing nodules requires coordinating rhizobial infection and root nodule organogenesis. The formation of an infection thread and the extent of nodule formation are largely under plant control, but vary with environmental conditions and the physiological state of the host plants. Many achievements in these two areas have been made in recent decades.Phytohormone signaling pathways have gradually emerged as important regulators of root nodule symbiosis. Cytokinin, strigolactones(SLs) and local accumulation of auxin can promote nodule development. Ethylene,jasmonic acid(JA), abscisic acid(ABA) and gibberellic acid(GA) all negatively regulate infection thread formation and nodule development. However, salicylic acid(SA) and brassinosteroids(BRs) have different effects on the formation of these two nodule types. Some peptide hormones are also involved in nodulation. 20A LysM Receptor Heteromer Mediates Perception of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Symbiotic Signal in Rice显示文摘Symbiotic microorganisms improve nutrient uptake by plants.To initiate mutualistic symbiosis with arbus-cular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,plants perceive Myc factors,including lipochitooligosaccharides(LCOs)and short-chain chitooligosaccharides(CO4/CO5),secreted by AM fungi.However,the molecular mechanism of Myc factor perception remains elusive.In this study,we identified a heteromer of LysM receptor-like kinases consisting of OsMYR1/OsLYK2 and OsCERK1 that mediates the perception of AM fungi in rice.CO4 directly binds to OsMYR1,promoting the dimerization and phosphorylation of this receptor complex.Compared with control plants,Osmyr1 and Oscerk1 mutant rice plants are less sensitive to Myc factors and show decreased AM colonization.We engineered transgenic rice by expressing chimeric receptors that respectively replaced the ectodomains of OsMYR1 and OsCERK1 with those from the homologous Nod factor receptors MtNFP and MtL YK3 of Medicago truncatula.Transgenic plants displayed increased cal-cium oscillations in response to Nod factors compared with control rice.Our study provides significant mechanistic insights into AM symbiotic signal perception in rice.Expression of chimeric Nod/Myc recep-tors achieves a potentially important step toward generating cereals that host nitrogen-fixing bacteria.Jiangman He Chi Zhang Huiling Dai Huan Liu Xiaowei Zhang Jun Yang Xi Chen Yayun Zhu Dapeng Wang Xiaofeng Qi Weichao Li Zhihui Wang Guoyong An Nan YU Zuhua He Yong-Fei Wang Youli Xiao Peng Zhang Ertao Wang 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,12:9
