3In vivo mice brain microcirculation monitoring based on contrast-enhanced SD-OCT显示文摘In this paper,we proposed a contrast-enhanced homemade spectral domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT)method for monitoring of brain microcirculation.We used the polyethylene glycol(PEG)-ylated gold nanorods(GNRs)as a contrast-enhanced agent,obtained clearly 2D and 3D OCT images of blood vessels and dynamic changes of probes in mouse blood vessels.Owing to high scattering of the PEG-GNRs,more tiny blood vessels can be imaged and the OCT signal can be enhanced by 5.87 dB after injection of PEG-GNRs for 20 min,the enhancement then declined gradually for 60 min.Our results demonstrate an effective technique for the enhanced imaging of blood vessels in vivo,especially for studies of the brain microcirculation,which could be serviced for disease mechanism research and therapeutic drug monitoring.Shaozhuang Yang Liwei Liu Yixin Chang Ningning Zhang Kun Liu Liang Hong Bingling Chen Yue Zhao Rui Hu Junle Qu 2019Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2019,,1:2
4Pomegranate-inspired porous SnSe/ZnSe@C anode:A stress-buffer nanostructure for fast and ultrastable sodium-ion storage显示文摘Tin selenide(SnSe)is considered as a potential anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to its high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately,it suffers from drastic volume expansion/contraction during sodium ions insertion/extraction,resulting in poor cycling stability.Herein,a pomegranate-inspired porous carbon shell wrapped heterogeneous SnSe/ZnSe composite(SnSe/ZnSe@C)is exquisitely designed and fabricated through electrostatic spraying followed by high-temperature selenization.The polyacrylonitrile-derived carbon shell acts as an adhesive to link the porous cubic SnSe/ZnSe and form highly interconnected microcircuits to improve the electron/ion transfer efficiency and inhibit the bulk volume change of internal metallic selenide nanoparticles and polyselenides dissolution during repeated cycling.Moreover,the abundant heterostructure interface of SnSe/ZnSe further significantly accelerates the electrons/ions transport.As a result,the as-prepared SnSe/ZnSe@C electrode exhibits a high specific capacity(508.3 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.05 A g^(-1)),excellent rate performance(177.8 m Ah g^(-1)at 10.0 A g^(-1)),and remarkable cycling stability(195.9 m Ah g^(-1)after 10,000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1)).Furthermore,in-situ Xray diffraction(XRD)/Raman,ex-situ transmission electron microscopy,and kinetic analysis clearly reveal a four-step electrochemical reaction process and battery-capacitor dual-mode sodium storage mechanism.This work provides a new perspective for developing commercial SIBs anode materials with high capacity and long lifespan.Zhixin Liang Qinghua Li Wang Zhang Dandan Yu Wei Zhang Jiawei Wu Gaoyu Wang Wenbo Fan Junling Wang Shaoming Huang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:2
5Impact of crizotinib on long-term survival of ALK-positive advanced non-small-cell lung cancer: A Chinese multicenter cohort study显示文摘Objective: Crizotinib has demonstrated promising efficacy in patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)-positive non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) in clinical trials. We conducted this retrospective multicenter study to assess the outcomes of crizotinib therapy in, to our knowledge, a large sample cohort of patients with ALKpositive advanced NSCLC.Methods: We reviewed the medical records of 484 unselected ALK-positive NSCLC patients treated with crizotinib at 5 cancer centers in China from January 2013 to November 2017. Clinical data were collected from the initiation of crizotinib therapy to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST)-defined progressive disease(PD).Results: A total of 428 eligible ALK-positive NSCLC patients were enrolled, 273(63.8%) of whom received crizotinib as first-line treatment. The median progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS) from the initiation of crizotinib treatment were 14.4 [95% confidence interval(95% CI), 12.4-16.4] months and 53.4(95%CI, 33.7-73.1) months, respectively. In subgroup analyses, patients who received crizotinib as first-line treatment showed a higher disease control rate(DCR) and a longer median OS compared with second-/later-line crizotinib treatment(94.8% and OS not reached vs. 89.0% and 40.5 months, respectively). For 261 patients with RECISTdefined PD, multivariate Cox analysis revealed that in patients who received first-line crizotinib therapy, continued crizotinib beyond progressive disease(CBPD) and next-generation ALK inhibitors after crizotinib failure were associated with improved survival.Conclusions: This study has demonstrated the clinically meaningful benefit of crizotinib treatment in a large cohort of Chinese ALK-positive NSCLC patients. 12Reservoir space and enrichment model of shale oil in the first member of Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Changling Sag, southern Songliao Basin, NE China显示文摘The lithology, lithofacies, reservoir properties and shale oil enrichment model of the fine-grained sedimentary system in a lake basin with terrigenous clastics of large depression are studied taking the organic-rich shale in the first member of Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation(shortened as Qing 1 Member) in the Changling Sag, southern Songliao Basin as an example. A comprehensive analysis of mineralogy, thin section, test, log and drilling geologic data shows that lamellar shale with high TOC content of semi-deep lake to deep lake facies has higher hydrocarbon generation potential than the massive mudstone facies with medium TOC content, and has bedding-parallel fractures acting as effective reservoir space under over pressure. The sedimentary environments changing periodically and the undercurrent transport deposits in the outer delta front give rise to laminated shale area. The laminated shale with medium TOC content has higher hydrocarbon generation potential than the laminated shale with low TOC content, and the generated oil migrates a short distance to the sandy laminae to retain and accumulate in situ. Ultra-low permeability massive mudstone facies as the top and bottom seals, good preservation conditions, high pressure coefficient, and lamellar shale facies with high TOC are the conditions for 'lamellation type' shale oil enrichment in some sequences and zones. The sequence and zone with laminated shale of medium TOC content in oil window and with micro-migration of expelled hydrocarbon are the condition for the enrichment of 'lamination type' shale oil. 13Magnetic covalent organic framework nanospheres-based miRNA biosensor for sensitive glioma detection显示文摘Sensitive detection and accurate diagnosis/prognosis of glioma remain urgent challenges.Herein,dispersed magnetic covalent organic framework nanospheres(MCOF)with uniformed Fe3O4 nano-assembly as cores and high-crystalline COF as shells were prepared by monomer-mediated in-situ interface growth strategy.Based on the unique interaction between MCOF and hairpin DNA,a fluorescent signal amplified miRNA biosensor was constructed.It could realize the sensitive detection of miRNA-182 in different matrixes,where the detection limit,linearity range and determination coefficient(R^(2))in real blood samples reached 20 fM,0.1 pM-10 pM and 0.991,respectively.Also,it possessed good stability and precision as observed from the low intra-day/inter-day RSD and high extraction recovery.As a result,it could quantify miRNA-182 in serum of glioma patients,the concentration of which was significantly higher than that of healthy people and obviously decreased after surgery.Finally,a proof-of-concept capillary chip system using this biosensor was proposed to realize the visualized detection of miRNA-182 in microsample.These findings suggest a robust way for sensitive detection and accurate diagnosis/prognosis of glioma.Dong Liang Xiaoyi Zhang Yi Wang Taotao Huo Min Qian Yibo Xie Wenshuai Li Yunqiu Yu Wei Shi Qianqian Liu Junle Zhu Chun Luo Zhijuan Cao Rongqin Huang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,8:1
14Fluorescence life-time imaging microscopy(FLIM)monitors tumor cell death triggered by photothermal therapy with MoS_(2) nanosheets显示文摘Recently,photothermal therapy(PTT)has been proved to have great potential in tumor therapy.In the last several years,MoS_(2),as one novel member of nanomaterials,has been applied into PTT due to its excellent photothermal conversion efficacy.In this work,we applied fuorescence lifetime imaging microscopy(FLIM)techniques into monitoring the PPT-triggered cell death under MoS_(2) nanosheet treatment.Two types of MoS_(2) nanosheets(single layer nanosheets and few layer nanosheets)were obtained,both of which exhibited presentable photothermal conversion fficacy,leading to high cell death rates of 4T1 cells(mouse breast cancer cells)under PTT.Next,live cell images of 4T1 cells were obtained via directly labeling the mitochondria with Rodamine123,which were then continuously observed with FLIM technique.FLIM data showed that the fuorescence lifetimes of mitochondria targeting dye in cells treated with each type of MoS_(2) nanosheets significantly increased during PTT treatment.By contrast,the fuorescence lifetime of the same dye in control cells(without nanomaterials)remained constant after laser irradiation.These findings suggest that FLIM can be of great value in monitoring cell death process during PTT of cancer cells,which could provide dynamic data of the cellular microenvironment at single cell level in multiple biomedical applications.Hongda Liang Zheng Peng Xiao Peng Yufeng Yuan Teng Ma Yiwan Song Jun Song Junle Qu 2019Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2019,,5:0
15Indoor distribution and personal exposure of cooking-generated PM2.5 in rural residences of China:A multizone model study显示文摘The fine particulate matter(PM2.5)emitted during cooking is a significant contributor to household air pollution in rural China,resulting in millions of premature deaths annually.Since cooking is an internal pollution source,the indoor concentration of cooking-generated PM2.5 can vary among different rooms in multizone rural residences.This study provides a comprehensive understanding of indoor PM2.5 from cooking in rural residences by utilizing on-site investigations to gather information on cooking behavior and dwelling layout in three Chinese villages,and subsequently simulating indoor spatiotemporal concentrations of cooking-generated PM2.5 using a multizone model.Our findings indicate that the type of zone significantly influences the zonal concentration of PM2.5,with the highest concentrations found in kitchens(i.e.,13.9 to 188.0μg/m3)and lowest in non-adjacent zones to the kitchen(i.e.,0.01 to 7.5μg/m3)among all the modeled conditions.More importantly,the study also assesses the resulting personal exposures for occupants with different time-spent patterns,revealing that the main cook at home and preferring to stay in the adjacent rooms to the kitchen are at the highest risk for personal exposure.The highest personal exposure levels of cooking-generated PM2.5 are 28.5±30.1μg/m3,which is 34 times that of occupants who stay away from the kitchen.The study provides a deeper scientific insight into the indoor spatial distribution and personal exposure to cooking-generated PM2.5 in rural residences,which is crucial for developing effective interventions to mitigate the detrimental health impacts of household air pollution in rural areas.Shanshan Shi Junling Yang Yushu Liang 2023Building Simulation2023,16,8:0
16Alloyed nanostructures integrated metal-phenolic nanoplatform for synergistic wound disinfection and revascularization显示文摘New materials for combating bacteria-caused infection and promoting the formation of microvascular networks during wound healing are of vital importance.Although antibiotics can be used to prevent infection,treatments that can disinfect and accelerate wound healing are scarce.Herein,we engineer a coating that is both highly compatible with current wound dressing substrates and capable of simultaneously disinfecting and revascularizing wounds using a metal-phenolic nanoplatform containing an alloyed nanostructured architecture(Ag@Cu-MPNNC).The alloyed nanostructure is formed by the spontaneous co-reduction and catalytic disproportionation reaction of multiple metal ions on a foundation metal-phenolic supramolecular layer.This synergistic presence of metals greatly improves the antibacterial activity against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogenic bacteria,while demonstrating negligible cytotoxicity to normal tissue.In infected rat models,the Ag@Cu-MPNNC could kill bacteria efficiently,promoting revascularization and accelerate wound closure with no adverse side effects in infected in vivo models.In other words,this material acts as a combination therapy by inhibiting bacterial invasion and modulating bio-nano interactions in the wound.Yi Xie Shengqiu Chen Xu Peng Xiaoling Wang Zhiwei Wei Joseph J.Richardson Kang Liang Hirotaka Ejima Junling Guo Changsheng Zhao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:0
17Textual Research on the July 7,1590 A. D. 18Schisandra lignans ameliorate nonalcoholic steatohepatitis by regulating aberrant metabolism of phosphatidylethanolamines显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)is a spectrum of chronic liver disease characterized by hepatic lipid metabolism disorder.Recent reports emphasized the contribution of triglyceride and diglyceride accumulation to NASH,while the other lipids associated with the NASH pathogenesis remained unexplored.The specific purpose of our study was to explore a novel pathogenesis and treatment strategy of NASH via profiling the metabolic characteristics of lipids.Herein,multi-omics techniques based on LC—Q-TOF/MS,LC—MS/MS and MS imaging were developed and used to screen the action targets related to NASH progress and treatment.A methionine and choline deficient(MCD)diet-induced mouse model of NASH was then constructed,and Schisandra lignans extract(SLE)was applied to alleviate hepatic damage by regulating the lipid metabolism-related enzymes CES2A and CYP4A14.Hepatic lipidomics indicated that MCD-diet led to aberrant accumulation of phosphatidylethanolamines(PEs),and SLE could significantly reduce the accumulation of intrahepatic PEs.Notably,exogenous PE(18:0/18:1)was proved to significantly aggravate the mitochondrial damage and hepatocyte apoptosis.Supplementing PE(18:0/18:1)also deteriorated the NASH progress by up regulating intrahepatic proinflammatory and fibrotic factors,while PE synthase inhibitor exerted a prominent hepatoprotective role.The current work provides new insights into the relationship between PE metabolism and the pathogenesis of NASH.Lijuan Xue Keanqi Liu Caixia Yan Junling Dun Yexin Xu Linlin Wu Huizhu Yang Huafang Liu Lin Xie Guangji Wang Yan Liang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,8:0
19Authigenic silica in continental lacustrine shale and its hydrocarbon significance显示文摘Taking lake basin shales of the Triassic Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin,NW China and the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Songliao Basin,NE China as research objects,the characteristics and origins of different types of silica in the shales have been studied by means of core observation,thin section identification,cathodoluminescence,X-ray diffraction analysis,scanning electron microscope(SEM),electron probe and rock pyrolysis.The results shows that the origins of silica include felsic mineral dissolution,tuffite devitrification,clay mineral transformation and siliceous mineral metasomatism.The silica formed by feldspar dissolution commonly appears as spots and veins,with low degree of crystallization,and is largely aqueous opal mineral,with an average Si O2 content of 67.2%.Silica formed by devitrification of tuffite mainly occurs in two forms,amorphous silica and authigenic quartz with better crystal shape.The authigenic silica formed during the transformation of clay minerals is embedded in the clay minerals in the form of micron-scale plates and small flakes,or mixed with clay minerals in a dispersed state.The authigenic quartz formed by siliceous mineral metasomatism is in better angular crystal shape,and has an average Si O2 content of 87%.The authigenic siliceous mineral content is positively correlated with the content of terrigenous felsic minerals.The pressure solution of felsic minerals is the main source of authigenic siliceous minerals,followed by the transformation of clay minerals,and the organic matter has some boost on the formation of authigenic silica.The authigenic siliceous materials of different origins have different geological characteristics and occurrence states from terrigenous quartz,which would affect the storage performance,seepage capacity and fracturing effect of continental shale.Although the organic-rich shale has high silica content,different from terrigenous quartz,authigenic silica in this kind of shale mostly floats and disperse in clay minerals,which would have negative effect on the formation of complex fractures in fracturing,fracture support ability after fracturing,and formation of effective seepage channels.Calculating the brittleness index of shale intervals only based on the composition of brittle minerals cannot accurately characterize mechanical characteristics of continental shale oil reservoirs,and would affect comprehensive evaluation and selection of continental shale oil“sweet spots”.BAI Bin DAI Chaocheng HOU Xiulin LIU Xianyang WANG Rui YANG Liang LI Shixiang HE Junling DONG Ruojing 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,5:0
20Efficient Polytelluride Anchoring for Ultralong-Life Potassium Storage: Combined Physical Barrier and Chemisorption in Nanogrid-in-Nanofiber显示文摘Metal tellurides(MTes) are highly attractive as promising anodes for high-performance potassium-ion batteries. The capacity attenuation of most reported MTe anodes is attributed to their poor electrical conductivity and large volume variation. The evolution mechanisms, dissolution properties, and corresponding manipulation strategies of intermediates(K-polytellurides, K-pTe_(x)) are rarely mentioned. Herein,we propose a novel structural engineering strategy to confine ultrafine CoTe_(2) nanodots in hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber carbon substrates(CoTe_(2)@NC@NSPCNFs) for smooth immobilization of K-pTe_(x) and highly reversible conversion of CoTe_(2) by manipulating the intense electrochemical reaction process. Various in situ/ex situ techniques and density functional theory calculations have been performed to clarify the formation, transformation, and dissolution of K-pTe_(x)(K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te), as well as verifying the robust physical barrier and the strong chemisorption of K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te on S, N co-doped dual-type carbon substrates. Additionally, the hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber nanostructure increases the chemical anchoring sites for K-pTe_(x), provides sufficient volume buffer space, and constructs highly interconnected conductive microcircuits, further propelling the battery reaction to new heights(3500 cycles at 2.0 A g^(-1)). Furthermore, the full cells further demonstrate the potential for practical applications.
