Photodynamic therapy guidelines for the management of oral leucoplakia显示文摘With recent developments in photosensitizers and light delivery systems, topical 5-aminolevulinic acid-mediated photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) has become the fourth alternative therapeutic approach in the management of oral leucoplakia (OLK) due to its minimally invasive nature, efficacy, and low risk of systemic side effects and disfigurement. This report presents step-by-step guidelines for applying topical ALA-PDT in the management of OLK based on both the clinical experience of the authors and a systematic review of the current literature.Studies using protocols with standardized parameters and randomized clinical trials at multiple centres with adequate sample sizes and both interim and long-term follow-ups are needed before universally applicable guidelines can be produced in this field. | Qianming Chen Hongxia Dan Fan Tang Jiongke Wang Xiaoying Li Junxin Cheng Hang Zhao Xin Zeng | 2019 | International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,2: | 18

Galvanic replacement reaction for in situ fabrication of litchi-shaped heterogeneous liquid metal-Au nano-composite for radio-photothermal cancer therapy显示文摘With tremendous research advances in biomedical application, liquid metals(LM)also offer fantastic chemistry for synthesis of novel nano-composites.Herein,as a pioneering trial,litchi-shaped heterogeneous eutectic gallium indium-Au nanoparticles(EGaIn-Au NPs),served as effective radiosensitizer and photothermal agent for radio-photothermal cancer therapy, have been successfully prepared using in situ interfacial galvanic replacement reaction. The enhanced photothermal conversion efficiency and boosted radio-sensitization effect could be achieved with the reduction of Au nanodots onto the eutectic gallium indium(EGaIn)NPs surface. Most importantly, the growth of tumor could be effectively inhibited under the combined radio-photothermal therapy mediated by EGaIn-Au NPs.Inspired by this approach,in situ interfacial galvanic replacement reaction may open a novel strategy to fabricate LM-based nano-composite with advanced multi-functionalities. | Zhenhu Guo Jingsong Lu Dan Wang Wensheng Xie Yongjie Chi Jianzhong Xu Nonaka Takuya Junxin Zhang Wanling Xu Fei Gao Hong Wu Lingyun Zhao | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,3: | 0
Necroptosis-elicited host immunity:GOx-loaded MoS_(2) nanocatalysts for self-amplified chemodynamic immunotherapy显示文摘Nanoparticles induced potent antitumor immunotherapy plays a significant role for enhancing conventional therapeutic effectiveness. However, revealing the pathway of how nanoagents themselves trigger the host immunity or how to maximize the immunotherapy efficacy still needs further exploration.Herein,rose-like MoS2 nanoflowers modified with 2-deoxy-D-glucose(2-DG)and glucose oxidase(GOx)(MPGGFs)have been successfully fabricated via a one-pot hydrothermal reaction and following one-by-one surface modification as a multifunctional nanocatalyst for photothermal therapy enhanced self-amplified chemodynamic immunotherapy(PTT-co-CDT).By introducing GOx,the obtained MPGGFs exhibited self-amplified chemodynamic therapeutic efficacy under hypoxia tumor microenvironment(TME)because of the raised intracellular H2O2 level via enzyme-catalysis of oxygen.Furthermore, combined with the intrinsic excellent photothermal conversion efficiency of MoS2 nanoflowers,PTT-co-CDT performances by MPGGFs could effectively induce the necroptosis of tumor cells both in vitro and in vivo. Then the induced necroptosis via PTT-co-CDT by MPGGFs could directly trigger host immunity by activating the antigen-specific T-cells(CD4^(+) and CD8^(+)).Finally,the excellent in vivo safety of MPGGFs makes us believe that the successful construction of rose-like multifunctional nanocatalyst not only has great potentials for self-amplified chemodynamic immunotherapy, but also provides a paradigm for exploring necroptosis triggered host immunity for cancer treatment. | Wensheng Xie Jingsong Lu Zhenhu Guo Xiaoxiao Guo Yongjiu Chi Jieling Ye Junxin Zhang Wanling Xu Lingyun Zhao Yen Wei | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 0
Plasma-exfoliated g-C_(3)N_(4) with oxygen doping: tailoring photocatalytic properties显示文摘Heteroatom doping and defect engineering have been proposed as effective ways to modulate the energy band structure and improve the photocatalytic activity of g-C_(3)N_(4). In this work, ultrathin defective g-C_(3)N_(4) was successfully prepared using cold plasma. Plasma exfoliation reduces the thickness of g-C_(3)N_(4) from 10 nm to 3 nm, while simultaneously introducing a large number of nitrogen defects and oxygen atoms into g-C_(3)N_(4). The amount of doped O was regulated by varying the time and power of the plasma treatment. Due to N vacancies, O atoms formed strong bonds with C atoms, resulting in O doping in g-C_(3)N_(4). The mechanism of plasma treatment involves oxygen etching and gas expansion. Photocatalytic experiments demonstrated that appropriate amount of O doping improved the photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B compared with pure g-C_(3)N_(4). The introduction of O optimized the energy band structure and photoelectric properties of g-C_(3)N_(4). Active species trapping experiments revealed ·O_(2)^(–) as the main active species during the degradation. | Yuxin Li Junxin Guo Rui Han Zhao Wang | 2024 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2024,18,2: | 0
Allotetraploidization event of Coptis chinensis shared by all Ranunculales显示文摘Coptis chinensis Franch.,also named Chinese goldthread is a member of Ranunculaceae in the order Ranunculales and represents an important lineage of early eudicots with traditional medicinal value. In our study,by using syntenic analysis combined with phylogenomic analysis of C.chinensis and four other representative genomes from basal and core eudicots,we confirmed that the WGD event in C.chinensis was shared by Aquilegia coerulea and Papaver somniferum L.and quickly occurred after Ranunculales diverged from other eudicots, likely a Ranunculales common tetraploidization(RCT).The synonymous nucleotide substitutions at synonymous sites distribution of syntenic blocks across these genomes showed that the evolutionary rate of the P.somniferum genome is faster than that of the C.chinensis genome by approximately 13.7%,possibly due to Papaveraceaes having an additional special tetraploidization event(PST).After Ks correction, the RCT dated to 115—130 million years ago(MYA),which was close to the divergence of Ranunculaceaes and Papaveraceaes approximately115.45—130.51 MYA.Moreover,we identified homologous genes related to polyploidization and speciation and constructed multiple sequence alignments with different reference genomes.Notably, the event-related subgenomes in the basal genomes all showed genomic fractionation bias, suggesting a likely allopolyploid nature of the RCT,PST and T-Alpha and T-Beta events in Tetracentron sinense. In addition,we detected that the sixteen P450 subfamilies were markedly expanded in the genomes of Ranunculales, and most of them were related to the RCT and PST events. We constructed a new platform for Early Eudicot Comparative Genomic Research(http://gffzze84c5b42976d4cd7h9o06p5xwf0qo6u09.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/index.html)to store more information. In summary, our findings support the WGD of C.chinensis shared by Ranunculales, which is likely an allotetraploidization event. This present effort offered new insights into the evolution of key polyploidization events and the genes related to secondary metabolites during the diversification of early eudicots. | Yan Zhang Weina Ge Jia Teng Yanmei Yang Jianyu Wang Zijian Yu Jiaqi Wang Qimeng Xiao Junxin Zhao Shaoqi Shen Yishan Feng Shoutong Bao Yu Li Yuxian Li Tianyu Lei Yuxin Pan Lan Zhang Jinpeng Wang | 2024 | Horticultural Plant Journal2024,10,1: | 0
