1Influences of affiliated components and train length on the train wind显示文摘The induced airfl w from passing trains,which is recognized as train wind,usually has adverse impacts on people in the surroundings,i.e.,the aerodynamic forces generated by a high-speed train's wind may act on the human body and endanger the safety of pedestrians or roadside workers.In this paper,an improved delayed detached eddy simulation(IDDES) method is used to study train wind.The effects of the affiliate components and train length on train wind are analyzed.The results indicate that the aff liated components and train length have no effect on train wind in the area in front of the leading nose.In the downstream and wake regions,the longitudinal train wind becomes stronger as the length of the train increases,while the transverse train wind is not affected.The presence of affiliate components strengthens the train wind in the near fiel of the train because of strong fl w solid interactions but has limited effects on train wind in the farDilong Guo Keming Shang Ye Zhang Guowei Yang Zhenxu Sun 2016Acta Mechanica Sinica2016,32,2:10
2Contrasting elevational diversity patterns for soil bacteria between two ecosystems divided by the treeline显示文摘Above- and below-ground organisms are closely linked, but how elevational distribution pattern of soil microbes shifting across the treeline still remains unknown. Sampling of 140 plots with transect, we herein investigated soil bacterial distribution pattern from a temperate forest up to a subalpine meadow along an elevational gradient using Illumina sequencing. Our results revealed distinct elevational patterns of bacterial diversity above and below the treeline in responding to changes in soil conditions:a hollow elevational pattern in the forest(correlated with soil temperature, pH, and C:N ratio) and a significantly decreasing pattern in the meadow(correlated with soil pH, and available phosphorus). The bacterial community structure was also distinct between the forest and meadow, relating to soil pH in the forest and soil temperature in the meadow. Soil bacteria did not follow the distribution pattern of herb diversity, but bacterial community structure could be predicted by herb community composition. These results suggest that plant communities have an important influence on soil characteristics, and thus change the elevational distribution of soil bacteria. 3Catalytic oxidation of low concentration formaldehyde over Pt/TiO_(2) catalyst显示文摘Formaldehyde(HCHO) is an important indoor pollutant.Catalytic oxidize low concentration HCHO is an effective way to eliminate indoor pollution.In this study,a series of Pt/TiO_(2) catalysts are prepared by impregnation and reduced by NaBH_4.The effects of loading amount of Pt and cry stal type of TiO_(2) on the physical and chemical properties and the catalytic performance in HCHO oxidation reaction are investigated.The results show that the quantity of active site and the oxygen vacancy of catalysts increa sed with increasing Pt content,which is beneficial to promote the further performance of catalysts.Nevertheless,with the further rises of Pt content,the specific surface area further decreases,and the proportion of Pt^(2+) species on the catalyst surface which is significant to catalytic properties also decreases,causing catalytic performance decreases.Compared with the catalyst supporting on rutile,the Pt/α-TiO_(2) catalyst supporting on anatase has larger specific surface area,more Pt^(2+) phase and easier to form oxygen vacancy in the support,which cause better catalytic performance.The catalyst with Pt content of0.1 wt% and supported by anatase TiO_(2) has the best catalytic performance.The HCHO conversion efficiency reaches 98% and 100% at 50℃ and 100 ℃, and the stabilization time is longer than 140 h.Yuan Su Keming Ji Jiayao Xun Kan Zhang Ping Liu Liang Zhao 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:6
4NDRG4 prevents cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting neuronal apoptosis显示文摘Cerebral ischemia is a major cause of mortality and long-term morbidity worldwide.NDRG4 has been shown to protect against cerebral ischemia,although the underlying mechanisms remain largely unclear.Here we found that NDRG4 expression was decreased in the brain tissues of ischemia/reperfusion(IR)rats,indicating increased apoptosis rates among cerebral cells.NDRG4 restoration via an adenovirus significantly attenuated cerebral infarct sizes and impairments in IR rats.Furthermore,adenovirus-mediated NDRG4 inhibited cell apoptosis in the brains of IR rats and regulated the expression of Bcl-2,Bax,caspase-3,and c-Fos.Moreover,we found that NDRG4 increased expression of BDNF,which is strongly related to cerebral ischemia and cellular apoptosis.Altogether,our findings demonstrate that NDRG4 protects cerebral IR injury by inhibiting cell apoptosis and regulates cerebral cell apoptosis by increasing BDNF expression.These results suggest that NDRG4 may be a therapeutic target for IR treatment.Lan Wen Lei Liu Linyan Tong Jinfang Li Keming Zhang Qinbin Zhang Changqing Li 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,4:6
5Discovery and its geological significance of the mantle- derived helium in the inclusions of the Ordovician oil-bearing reservoir rocks in the Huanghua depression,China显示文摘The values of the helium isotopes in the inclusions of the Ordovician reservoir rocks in the Kongxi buried hill belt in the Huanghua depression were first measured and the source of helium and its geological significance were investigated in comparison with those of the helium isotopes in the conclusions in the Ordovician rocks in the Ordos basin and the Tarim basin. The input of the mantle-derived helium into the inclusions in the carbonate reservoir rocks was found from the Konggu 3 well, the Konggu 4 well, and the Konggu 7 well in the Kongxi buried hill belt. The 3He/4He and R/Ra in the conclusions in the Ordovician oil-bearing reservoir rocks in the Konggu 7 well average 2.54×10-6(3) (sample quantity, the same below) and 1.82(3), respectively. The percent of the mantle-derived helium in the inclusions of the reservoir rocks in the Konggu 7 well reaches up to an average of 23.0%(3). The age of the contribution of the mantle-derived helium to the inclusions in the Kongxi buried hill belt is in the Late Triassic or the Early Tertiary. The finding of the mantle-derived helium shows that the interaction of the deep crust with mantle and the activity of deep faults occurred, the terrestrial heat flow value was high, and mantle-derived inorganic gas pools might be formed in the Kongxi buried hill belt. 6Selective feeding of bay scallop Argopecten irradians on phytoplankton community revealed by HPLC analysis of phytopigments in Bohai Sea, China显示文摘Understanding the feeding selectivity on phytoplankton by shellfi sh is currently a big challenge. In order to investigate the feeding behavior of bay scallop ( Argopecten irradians ) on phytoplankton, we compared its compositions of phytopigments in digestive glands with those in the surrounding seawater, and conducted fi ve consecutive investigations between July and November 2016 in a bay scallop culture area along coast of Qinghuangdao City, northwest of the Bohai Sea, China. Phytopigments in four-size fractionated phytoplankton of seawater (micro-(20-200 μm);nano(L)-[10-20 μm];nano(S)-[2.7-10 μm], and pico-[<2.7 μm]) and digestive glands of A . irradians were examined to investigate the selective feeding of A . irradians . Results show that fucoxanthin and peridinin constituted the major part of taxonomically diagnostic carotenoids (TDCs) in the micro- and nano(L)-phytoplankton in seawater. Compared with total phytoplankton biomass of seawater (TPB, sum of the four sizes), a substantial decrease of fucoxanthin proportion to total DCs in digestive glands was observed while that of peridinin, 19′-butanoyloxyfucoxanthin, alloxanthin and 19′-hexanoyloxy-fucoxanthin showed an obvious increase when those pigments were mainly confi ned to micro-sized phytoplankton (20-200 μm). However, zeaxanthin and prasinoxanthin were mainly confi ned to nano(s)- and pico-phytoplankton, of which the proportions in digestive glands were usually lower in TPB. 7Effects of plant coverage on shrub fertile islands in the Upper Minjiang River Valley显示文摘The patchy distribution of vegetation in dry land results in well-documented 'fertile islands'. However, the response of shrub fertile islands to plant recovery and the underlying mechanisms, such as the linkage plant and soil properties, remain unknown.We sampled soils from areas with three different plant coverages(25%, 45%, and 75%) and three of their adjacent inter-plants to investigate soil physicochemical and microbial properties in the upper Minjiang River arid valley. The results showed that these factors were influenced by the persistence of plants that contrasted with the inter-plant interspaces. We found fertile islands in under-plant soil that were enhanced with increasing plant coverage, from 25% to 45% and 75%; however, there were no significant differences between 45% and 75% plant coverage apart from the soil clay content and the fungi to bacteria ratio. The soil microbial communities in under-plant soil were strongly influenced by the total soil carbon(TC), soil organic carbon(SOC),and available nitrogen(AN), whereas the microbial communities in inter-plant soil were primarily constrained by the AN and available phosphorous(AP). 9Facile synthesis of hierarchical Na2Fe(SO4)2@rGO/C as high-voltage cathode for energy density-enhanced sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Fe-based sulfates are ideal cathode candidates for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) owing to their high operating voltage and low cost but suffer from the nature of poor power performance. Herein, a hierarchical porous Na2Fe(SO4)2@reduced graphene oxide/carbon dot(Na2Fe(SO4)2@rGO/C) with low carbon content(4.12 wt%) was synthesized via a facile homogeneous strategy benefiting for engineering application,which delivers excellent sodium storage performance(high voltage plateau of 3.75 V, 85 m Ah g-1 and330 Wh kg-1 at 0.05 C;5805 W kg-1 at 10 C) and high Na+diffusion coefficient(1.19 × 10-12 cm2 s-1).Moreover, the midpoint voltage of assembled full cell could reach 3.0 V. The electron transfer and reaction kinetics are effectively boosted since the nanoscale Na2Fe(SO4)2 is supported by a robust crosslinked carbon matrix with rGO sheets and carbon dots. The slight rGO sheets sufficiently enhance the electron transfer like a current collecter and restrain the aggregation, as well as ensure smooth ion channels. Meanwhile, the carbon dots in the whole space connect with Na2Fe(SO4)2 and help rGO to promote the conductivity of the electrode. 10Adenosine triphosphate promotes locomotor recovery after spinal cord injury by activating mammalian target of rapamycin pathway in rats显示文摘The mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway plays an important role in neuronal growth, proliferation and differentiation. To better understand the role of mTOR pathway involved in the induction of spinal cord injury, rat models of spinal cord injury were established by modified Allen's stall method and interfered for 7 days by intraperitoneal administration of mTOR activator adenosin triphosphate and mTOR kinase inhibitor rapamycin. At 1-4 weeks after spinal cord injury induction, the Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan locomotor rating scale was used to evaluate rat locomotor function, and immunohistochemical staining and western blot analysis were used to detect the expression of nestin (neural stem cell marker), neuronal nuclei (neuronal marker), neuron specific enolase, neurofilament protein 200 (axonal marker), glial fibrillary acidic protein (astrocyte marker), Akt, mTOR and signal transduction and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3). 11The study of methanol aromatization on transition metal modified ZSM-5 catalyst显示文摘In this article, transition metals of Cu, La and Zn were used as adjuvant to prepare modified HZSM-5 by impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, NH_3-TPD and Py-IR to reveal the microstructure and acid property. The catalysis performances of methanol aromatization of catalysts were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor. The results show that the strength and distribution of acid center of these catalysts are significantly influenced by the species of transition metal. 12Corneal Topograph-guided Laser Subepithelial Keratomileusis (LASEK)Corrects Decentered Ablation after Laser in Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK):A Case Report显示文摘Purpose:Corneal topograph-guided laser subepithelial keratomileusis (LASEK) can effectively correct decentered ablation occurring post laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and to enhance our understanding and diagnosis of decentered ablation following LASIK. Methods:Previous studies in the relevant literature are reviewed, and a case report is provided. Results:A patient with high myopia undergoing LASIK in both eyes presented with distorted vision in the left eye, which interfered with the vision in the right eye and caused blurred vision in both eyes. The patient was unable to see objects with both eyes. After receiving corneal topography-guided LASEK,the signs of distorted vision in the left eye and bilateral blurred vision were significantly alleviated,and the patient could see objects with both eyes simultaneously. Conclusion: Clinical ophthalmologists should be aware of the occurrence of decentered ablation after LASIK. 13Developing a Physiological Signal-Based, Mean Threshold and Decision-Level Fusion Algorithm (PMD) for Emotion Recognition显示文摘With the development of computers,artificial intelligence,and cognitive science,engagement in deep communication between humans and computers has become increasingly important.Therefore,affective computing is a current hot research topic.Thus,this study constructs a Physiological signal-based,Mean-threshold,and Decision-level fusion algorithm(PMD)to identify human emotional states.First,we select key features from electroencephalogram and peripheral physiological signals,and use the mean-value method to obtain the classification threshold of each participant and distinguish individual differences.Then,we employ Gaussian Naive Bayes(GNB),Linear Regression(LR),Support Vector Machine(SVM),and other classification methods to perform emotion recognition.Finally,we improve the classification accuracy by developing an ensemble model.The experimental results reveal that physiological signals are more suitable for emotion recognition than classical facial and speech signals.Our proposed mean-threshold method can solve the problem of individual differences to a certain extent,and the ensemble learning model we developed significantly outperforms other classification models,such as GNB and LR.Qiuju Zhang Hongtao Zhang Keming Zhou Le Zhang 2023Tsinghua Science and Technology2023,28,4:2
14Synthesis and characterization of BZSM-5 and its catalytic performance in the methanol to hydrocarbons reaction显示文摘Five kinds of BZSM-5 molecular sieve with different Si/B ratio and a SiZSM-5 molecular sieve were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method followed by acid exchange and pelletization.The samples were characterized by XRD,SEM,FT-IR,ICP,low temperature N_(2) physical adsorption and desorption,NH3-TPD and Py-IR.The catalytic performance in the reaction of methanol to hydrocarbons was evaluated in the fixed bed reactor.Compared with SiZSM-5,the amount and strength of Bronsted(B)acid were enhanced by introducing skeleton boron and the activity of the catalyst was greatly improved.The characterization and evaluation results indicated that the BZSM-5 catalyst synthesized from the gel of SiO_(2)/B2 O320 with Si/B ratio 74.48 had modest acidity strength,acid amount of 0.18 mmol NH3·g^(-1) and large mesopore volume of 0.23 cm3·g^(-1).The B acid ratio was higher and the acid strength of BZSM-5 was weaker than that of AIZSM-5,which could inhibit the deep coke formation and increase the activity stability.B-2 had the best lifetime which could reach 672 h under the same evaluation reaction conditions,due to the best matching of moderate acidity and good diffusion properties.Junhua Gao Keming Ji Hao Zhou Jiayao Xun Zenghou Liu Kan Zhang Ping Liu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:2
15A study on 'selenium-health' database in China显示文摘A database for 'Se and health' has been established using DATA-TRIEVE data management system on a VAX-11/780 computer. Over 5000 pieces of information including 300 kinds of samples from 28 provinces in China were stored. The information relates to endemk diseases such as Keshan disease, Kaschin-Beck disease, Se-poison disease, cancers, heart disease and so on. The database can be accessed through keywords: samples, province, county, analytical method and the Se-content values can be obtained in tabulated form. The output includes primary statistics of the retrieved data sets. 16A segmentation method for processing greenhouse vegetable foliar disease symptom images显示文摘Uneven illumination and clutter background were the most challenging problems to segmentation of disease symptom images.In order to achieve robust segmentation,a method for processing greenhouse vegetable foliar disease symptom images was proposed in this paper.The segmentation method was based on a decision tree which was constructed by a two-step coarse-to-fine procedure.Firstly,a coarse decision tree was built by the CART(Classification and Regression Tree)algorithm with a feature subset.The feature subset consisted of color features that was selected by Pearson’s Rank correlations.Then,the coarse decision tree was optimized by pruning.Using the optimized decision tree,segmentation of disease symptom images was achieved by conducting pixel-wise classification.In order to evaluate the robustness and accuracy of the proposed method,an experiment was performed using greenhouse cucumber downy mildew images.Results showed that the proposed method achieved an overall accuracy of 90.67%,indicating that the method was able to obtain robust segmentation of disease symptom images.Juncheng Ma Keming Du Feixiang Zheng Lingxian Zhang Zhongfu Sun 2019Information Processing in Agriculture2019,6,2:2
