4Grinding force and surface quality in creep feed profile grinding of turbine blade root of nickel-based superalloy with microcrystalline alumina abrasive wheels显示文摘Creep feed profile grinding of the fir-tree blade root forms of single crystal nickel-based superalloy was conducted using microcrystalline alumina abrasive wheels in the present study. The grinding force and the surface quality in terms of surface topography, subsurface microstructure,microhardness and residual stress obtained under different grinding conditions were evaluated comparatively. Experimental results indicated that the grinding force was influenced significantly by the competing predominance between the grinding parameters and the cross-sectional root workpiece profile. In addition, the root workpiece surface, including the root peak and valley regions, was produced with the large difference in surface quality due to the nonuniform grinding loads along the root workpiece profile in normal section. Detailed results showed that the surface roughness, subsurface plastic deformation and work hardening level of the root valley region were higher by up to25%, 20% and 7% in average than those obtained in the root peak region, respectively, in the current investigation. Finally, the superior parameters were recommended in the creep feed profile grinding of the fir-tree blade root forms. 7Complementary transmissive ultra-thin meta-deflectors for broadband polarization-independent refractions in the microwave region显示文摘Polarization manipulation is a significant issue for artificial modulation of the electromagnetic(EM) wave, but general mechanisms all suffer the restriction of inherent symmetric properties between opposite handedness.Herein, a strategy to independently and arbitrarily manipulate the EM wave with orthogonal circular polarizations based on a metasurface is proposed, which effectually breaks through traditional symmetrical characteristics between orthogonal handedness. By synthesizing the propagation phase and geometric phase, the appropriate Jones matrix is calculated to obtain independent wavefront manipulation of EM waves with opposite circular polarizations. Two transmissive ultra-thin meta-deflectors are proposed to demonstrate the asymmetrical refraction of transmitted circularly polarized waves in the microwave region. Simulated transmitted phase front and measured far-field intensity distributions are in excellent agreement, indicating that the transmitted wave with different polarizations can be refracted into arbitrary and independent directions within a wide frequency band(relative bandwidth of 25%). 11Fretting wear behaviour of machined layer of nickel-based superalloy produced by creep-feed profile grinding显示文摘Fretting wear has an adverse impact on the fatigue life of turbine blade roots.The current work is to comparatively investigate the fretting wear behaviour of the nickel-based superalloy surfaces produced by polishing and creep-feed profile grinding,respectively,in terms of surface/subsurface fretting damage,the friction coefficient,wear volume and wear rate.Experimental results show that the granulated tribolayer aggravates the workpiece wear,while the flat compacted tribolayer enhances the wear resistance ability of workpiece,irrespective of whether the workpiece is processed by polishing or grinding.However,the wear behaviors of tribolayers are different.For the polished surface,when the normal load exceeds 100 N,the main defects are crack,rupture,delamination and peeling of workpiece materials;the wear mechanism changes from severe oxidative wear to fatigue wear and abrasive wear when the loads increase from 50 to 180 N.As for the ground surface,the main wear mechanism is abrasive wear.Particularly,the ground surface possesses better wear-resistant ability than the polished surface because the former has the lower values in coefficient friction(0.23),wear volume(0.06×10^(6)μm^(3))and wear rate(0.25×10^(-16)Pa^(-1)).Finally,an illustration is given to characterize the evolution of wear debris on such nickel-based superalloy on the ground surface.Weijie KUANG Qing MIAO Wenfeng DING Yanjun ZHAO Biao ZHAO Xuebing WEN Shaopeng LI 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,10:3

15Anion Exchange Membrane Based on Interpenetrating Polymer Network with Ultrahigh Ion Conductivity and Excellent Stability for Alkaline Fuel Cell显示文摘A high-performance anion exchange membrane(AEM)is critical for the development of alkaline fuel cell.In this work,AEMs with an interpenetrating polymer network(IPN)are synthesized.An electron microscope clearly reveals a highly efficient“ion channel”network,which is constructed with a small amount of cation exchange groups.This specially designed ion channel leads to extraordinary hydroxide conductivity(e.g.,257.8 mS cm^(-1) at 80℃)of IPN AEMs at moderate ion exchange capacity(IEC=1:75 mmol g^(-1)),as well as excellent long-term alkaline stability at harsh condition which showed that 81%of original conductivity can be retained after a long time for 1248 hours.Moreover,a remarkable peak power density of 1.20 Wcm^(-2)(0.1 MPa backpressure)with nonprecious metal(FeNx-CNTs)as oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)catalyst in a fuel cell test was achieved.This work offers a general strategy to prepare high-performance AEMs based on IPN structure design.Lingping Zeng Qian He Yunchuan Liao Shangyi Kuang Jianchuan Wang Wei Ding Qiang Liao Zidong Wei 2020Research2020,,1:2
16Overexpression of CREPT confers colorectal cancer sensitivity to fluorouracil显示文摘AIM To investigate expression of cell cycle-related and expression-elevated protein in tumor(CREPT) in colorectal cancer(CRC) and determine its prognostic value in response to 5-fluorouracil(5-FU).METHODS The relative expression of CREPT in CRC tumor samples was determined using immunohistochemistry. The protein content in cell lines was analyzed by immunoblotting. Cell viability was measured with the CCK-8 assay. Cell cycle and apoptosis analyses were performed with flow cytometry.RESULTS CREPT was overexpressed in CRC tissues and correlated with histological grade. Clinicopathological analysis indicated that CREPT was positively related to tumor progression. Exogenous expression of CREPT stimulated cell proliferation and accelerated the cell cycle. More importantly, high expression of CREPT sensitized CRC cells to 5-FU treatment. Furthermore, we demonstrated that 5-FU elicited significant apoptosis in CREPT-positive cells.CONCLUSION Aberrant overexpression of CREPT contributes to tumorigenesis of CRC by promoting cell proliferation and accelerating the cell cycle, and confers sensitivity to 5-FU.
