1The first offshore natural gas hydrate production test in South China Sea显示文摘Natural gas hydrates (NGH)is one of key future clean energy resources.Its industrialized development will help remit the huge demand of global natural gas,relieve the increasing pressure of the environment, and play a vital role in the green sustainable growth of human societies.Based on nearly two decades' studying on the reservoir characteristics in the South China Sea (SCS)and the knowledge of reservoir system,the China Geological Survey (CGS)conducted the first production test on an optimal target selected in Shenhu area SCS in 2017.Guided by the 'three-phase control'exploitation theory which focused on formation stabilization,technologies such as formation fluid extraction,well drilling and completing, reservoir stimulating,sand controlling,environmental monitoring,monitoring and preventing of secondary formation of hydrates were applied.The test lasted for 60 days from May 10^th when starting to pump, drop pressure and ignite to well killing on July 9^th,with gas production of 3.09×10^5 m^3 in total,which is a world record with the longest continuous duration of gas production and maximal gas yield.This successful test brings a significant breakthrough on safety control of NGH production.Jin-fa Li Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Hai-jun Qiu Neng-you Wu Hai-long Lu Wen-wei Xie Jing-an Lu Fei Peng Zhen-qiang Xu Cheng Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Jian-gong Wei Qian-yong Liang Hong-feng Lu Bei-bei Kou 2018China Geology2018,1,1:117

4Formations of groundwater hydrogeochemistry in a karst system during storm events as revealed by PCA显示文摘High-frequency samples have been collected at Jiangjia Spring, the outlet of Qingmuguan underground river system (QURS) in Chongqing in late April, 2008. The variations of hydrogeochemical compositions are found responding rapidly to storm events. Principal component analysis (PCA) of the 20 variables is employed to interpret the relationships with specific processes that control the groundwater hydrogeochemical formations. Through PCA, 84.961% of the total amount information is extracted to indicate the formations of groundwater hydrogeochemical features in QURS during storm events. The first component separates the soil erosion (i.e., increases in turbidity and concentrations of Al3+, TFe, TMn, Ba2+ and NO2?), and dilution effect (i.e., decreases in specific conductance and concentrations of HCO3?, Ca2+ and Sr2+), accounting for 41.495% of the variability in the data. The second component indicates residual fertilizers and duck’s waste from farmlands (i.e., increases in specific conductance and concentrations of Na+, NO3-, PO43-,K+and Cl-), contributing to 37.449%. The dissolution of dolomite and dolomitic limestone makes up 6.017%. 6Adaptive subsequence adjustment with evolutionary asymmetric path-relinking for TDRSS scheduling显示文摘Due to the limited transmission resources for data relay in the tracking and data relay satellite system(TDRSS), there are many job requirements in busy days which will be discarded in the conventional job scheduling model. Therefore, the improvement of scheduling efficiency in the TDRSS can not only help to increase the resource utilities, but also to reduce the scheduling failure ratio.A model of nonhomogeneous parallel machines scheduling problems with time window(NPM-TW) is firstly built up for the TDRSS,considering the distinct features of the variable preparation time and the nonhomogeneous transmission rates for different types of antennas on each tracking and data relay satellite(TDRS). Then,an adaptive subsequence adjustment(ASA) framework with evolutionary asymmetric path-relinking(Ev APR) is proposed to solve this problem, in which an asymmetric progressive crossover operation is involved to overcome the local optima by the conventional job inserting methods. 7Combined vascular resection and analysis of prognostic factors for hilar cholangiocarcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND: Hilar cholangiocarcinoma(HCCA) is a devastating malignancy arising from the bifurcation of the hepatic duct,whether combined vascular resection benefits HCCA patients is controversial. This study was undertaken to assess the effect of combined vascular resection in HCCA patients and to analyze the prognostic factors. METHODS: Clinical data of 154 HCCA patients who had been treated from January 2005 to December 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into three groups based on vascular resection: those without vascular resection; those with portal vein resection alone and those with hepatic artery resection. The survival and complication rates were compared among the three groups. Multivariate analysis was made to determine prognostic factors.RESULTS: No significant differences were found in survival and complication rates among the three groups(P>0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that 3 factors were related to survival: lymph node metastasis,tumor size(>2.5 cm),and positive resection margin.CONCLUSIONS: Vascular resection improved the survival rate of patients with HCCA involving the hepatic artery or portal vein. 10High-entropy(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3:A promising thermal/environmental barrier material for oxide/oxide composites显示文摘Yttrium aluminum perovskite(YAl O3)is a promising candidate material for environmental barrier coatings(EBCs)to protect Al2 O3 f/Al2 O3 ceramic matrix composites(CMCs)from the corrosion of high-temperature water vapor in combustion environments.Nevertheless,the relatively high thermal conductivity is a notable drawback of YAl O3 for environmental barrier coating application.Herein,in order to make REAl O3 more thermal insulating,a novel high-entropy rare-earth aluminate ceramic(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3 was designed and synthesized.The as-prepared(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3 ceramic possesses close thermal expansion coefficient(9.02×10-6/oC measured from room temperature to 1200℃)to that of Al2 O3.The thermal conductivity of(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3 at room temperature is 4.1 W·m-1K-1,which is almost one third of the value of YAl O3.Furthermore,to effectively prevent the penetration of water vapor from possible pores/cracks of coating layer,which are often observed in T/EBCs,a tri-layer EBC system REAl O3/RE3 Al5 O12/(Al2 O3 f/Al2 O3 CMCs)is designed.Close thermal expansion coefficient to Al2 O3 and low thermal conductivity of(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3,as well as the formation of dense garnet layer at(Y0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)AlO3/Al2 O3 interface,indicate that this new type of high-entropy ceramic is suitable as a candidate environmental barrier coating material for Al2 O3 f/Al2 O3 CMCs.Zifan Zhao Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Xiaohui Wang Wei Xu Kuang Sun Zhijian Peng Yanchun Zhou 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,12:9

13Mesozoic basins and associated palaeogeographic evolution in North China显示文摘In North China, the Mesozoic terrestrial basins, sedimentary palaeogeography and tectonic settings involved five evolutionary stages:(1) the Early-Middle Triassic,(2) the Late Triassic to Early-Middle Jurassic,(3) the Late Jurassic to early Early Cretaceous,(4) the middle-late Early Cretaceous and(5) the Late Cretaceous. The regional punctuated tectonic events occurred during these evolutionary stages. During the Early-Middle Triassic(stage 1), the Xingmeng Orogenic Belt(XMOB, i.e., eastern part of Central Asia Orogenic Belt, CAOB) of the northern North China was settled in the transition of tectonic environment from syn-orogenic compression to post-orogenic extension with intensive uplifting. It is a main provenance in the unified Ordos-North China Basin.The united continental plate of China and the Qinling-Dabie-Sulu Orogenic Belt formed due to convergence and collision between the North China Plate and the Yangtze Plate along two suture zones of the Mianlue and the Shangdan in the terminal Middle Triassic. During the Late Triassic to the Early-Middle Jurassic(stage 2), the Late Triassic mafic or alkaline rocks and intrusions occurred on the northern and southern margins of North China Craton(NCC) and XMOB, implying that intensified extension happened all over the North China(early phase of stage 2). Additionally, in the late phase of stage 2, the basic volcanicfilling faulted basins were widely distributed in the northeastern North China during the EarlyMiddle Jurassic, including a series of small- to medium-sized basins with coal-bearing strata and some volcanic rocks in other areas of North China, which was the result of subduction of the Palaeo-Pacific Plate during the Early-Middle Jurassic. An active continental margin with accretionary complex developed in the eastern Heilongjiang of China, Japan and the Far East of Russia at that time. However, in the end of the Early-Middle Jurassic, because of the Yanshanian orogeny characterized by complicated thrust and fold, the previous unified OrdosNorth China Basin was separated by the northeast-oriented Great Xing'an Range and Taihang Mountain uplifted linearment. The differential evolution of basins and sedimentary palaeogeography between eastern and western North China was initiated, and was interpreted to result in the closure of Okhotsk Ocean and the subduction of Palaeo-Pacific Plate(late stage 2). During the Late Jurassic(the early phase of stage 3), a variety of faulted basins occurred in the Yanshan and Yinshan areas in the northeastern North China. In Yanshan area, basins were filled with thickened intermediate volcanic rocks and purple-red coarse-grained clastic rocks. In contrast, only thick layered sedimentary rocks with rare volcanic rocks developed in the Yinshan faulted basins, the Ordos Basin and basins in sourthern North China. XMOB wasthe main provenance of the Early Mesozoic basins in the North China, while the Ordos Basin and the Hefei Basin were partly supplied by the northern Qinling Orogenic Belt. During the Late Jurassic-early Early Cretaceous(the late phase of stage 3), the northern and northeastern North China experienced extensional movement after the subduction of the Palaeo-Pacific Plate, the closure of the Mongolia-Okhotsk Ocean and the subsequent Yanshanian orogeny. At the same time, a NE-oriented, giant rift basin system(NE Asia Rift) extended from the Yanshan to the western Great Xing'an Range, where rift basins were filled with the regional, NE-oriented, thick coarse-grained clastic rocks and a belt of volcanic rocks. In the meantime, the eastern and northeastern China and most areas of NCC were presented as highland terrains. During the middle-late Early Cretaceous(stage 4), rift basins developed and accumulated alluvial sediments and interbedded alkaline volcanic rocks in the western and northern North China, including Yingen, Ejinaqi and Erlian regions. Basins were formed on both sides of the Tan-Lu Fault Zone under a striking-slipping force. Furthermore, faulted basins developed in the Yishu Fault Zone of Shandong(central Tan-Lu Fault Zone) as well, where dinosaur fauna flourished. Basic volcanic rocks and fluvial-lacustrine sediments were deposited in small- or medium-sized rift basins in the northeastern China. The Songliao Basin was a typical giant basin that was mainly filled with late Early Cretaceous lacustrine sediments. A group of rift basins occurred in the Sanjiang area, central Heilongjiang Province, northeastern China. From the middle-late Early Cretaceous to the Late Cretaceous(stage 5), depositional and subsiding center of the basins constantly shifted southeastwards in Heilongjiang Province. The tectonic setting changed into the Palaeo-Pacific continental margin in north and northeastern China. Besides, during the Late Mesozoic, a huge terrestrial biota, mainly dinosaur fauna, dominated in North China. The Yanliao biota of the Middle-Late Jurassic and the Jehol biota of the Early Cretaceous are characterized by feathered dinosaurs, primitive birds, mammals, pterosaur, insects and plants(angiosperms). 14Effects of Formulated Fertilizer Synergist on Abscisic Acid Accumulation, Proline Content and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Rice under Drought显示文摘To investigate the effects of formulated fertilizer synergist on the drought tolerance in rice,pot experiment was conducted to analyze the photosynthetic characteristics and the accumulation of abscisic acid(ABA)and proline in middle-season rice variety Peiliangyou 93.The synergist could improve the net photosynthetic rate,and coordination between the water loss and the CO2 absorption as well as reduce the harmful effect on photosynthetic process under drought conditions.Under drought,the ABA accumulated massively both in roots and leaves,while the ABA content in roots was far higher than that in leaves.The results indicate that synergist could increase the ABA accumulation,but reduce the proline accumulation in rice plant under drought.WANG Shao-xian XIA Shi-tou PENG Ke-qin KUANG Feng-chun CAO Yong XIAO Lang-tao 2007Rice science2007,14,1:7
15Molar-Tooth Structure from the Mesoproterozoic Wumishan Formation in Lingyuan,Yanshan Region,North China,and Geological Implications显示文摘Although its origin has not yet reached a consensus so far,MTS(Molar-Tooth Structure) has been documented for more than 100 years.Current study reports a discovery of MTS from the Mesoproterozoic Wumishan Formation,Lingyuan,Yanshan Region,North China,and the features and geological implications of MTS are further discussed.Here,straitigraphic horizons of MTS's occurrences show that it was mainly located within the top part of the Wumishan Formation,i.e.,limestone unit.Four kinds of morphology of MTS,i.e.,fine fusiform,debris,ribbon,ptigmatic and nodular(irregular),were recognized and thought to be highly related to the sedimentary environments and facies.Geochemistry of MTS including oxides,trace elements and C,O and Sr isotopes indicates that the horizons of MTS-bearing is of higher Sr/Ba and Ca/Mg ratios,lower positive δ13C and highly negative δ18O values than the adjacent stratigraphic levels of rare MTS.Lithology,morphology and geochemistry of MTS in the Wumishan Formation suggest that MTS occurs mainly in shallow subtidal near the storm wave base,which is typically characterized by warm temperature,oversaturated calcium carbonate seawater and high organic productivity.Furthermore,occasional enrichment of algae bacteria here is more favorable for the calcification of calcium oozes and catalytic for MTS.C isotope composition of the Wumishan Formation and MTS of this study is well correlated with that of the Mesoproterozoic Belt Supergroup,North America and Riphean,Siberia,suggesting that MTS acts as a sedimentary record responding to global changes and is a perfect indicator in Precambrian stratigraphic correlation worldwide.KUANG Hongwei LIU Yongqing PENG Nan LUO Shunshe LI Jiahua CEN Chao CHEN Mingpei 2012Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1:7
16Preparation and characterization of chitosan porous microcarriers for hepatocyte culture显示文摘BACKGROUND: The bioartificial liver (BAL) is considered a possible alternative method for treating liver failure. The core of the BAL system is culturing liver cells in vitro with high density and activity. Microcarrier culture is a mode of high-density culture. We set out to prepare a novel porous microcarrier to improve the activity of liver cells in vitro. METHODS: Chitosan was used to prepare a novel porous spherical microcarrier with interconnected structure. The chitosan porous microcarriers (CPMs) were modified with gelatin to improve their biocompatibility. CPMs were co-cultured with liver cells, HL-7702 (L-02), to evaluate their effect on cell culture. RESULTS: The average size of the CPMs was about 400 μm in diameter and their apertures were less than 30 μm. The pores of the microcarrier were interconnected. After fixation by sodium tripolyphosphate, the structure of the first freeze-dried CPMs was stable. To further improve the biocompatibility, the surface of CPMs was modified with gelatin through chemical crosslinking (GM-CPMs). Comparing the proliferation curves of L-02 cells cultured on simple CPMs, GM-CPMs and tissue culture polystyrene (TCPS, a mode of planar cell culture), the proliferation rates were similar in the first 5 days and the cells proliferated until day 8 in culture with microcarriers. The OD value of liver cells cultured on GM-CPMs was 1.97-fold higher than that on TCPS culture at day 8. Levels of urea and albumin in supernatants of cells cultured on GM-CPMs increased steadily for 8 days, and were clearly higher than those of cells cultured on TCPS (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The novel CPMs were promising microcarriers for hepatocyte culture and the GM-CPM seemed better. 17Stratigraphy and Geochronology of Vertebrate Fossil-Bearing Jurassic Strata from Linglongta,Jianchang County,Western Liaoning,Northeastern China显示文摘Northeastern China contains widely distributed Jurassic terrestrial strata that have yielded many spectacular mammal and pterosaur fossils, in addition to feathered dinosaur fossils and more recent discoveries from Jianchang, particularly from western Liaoning. However, the fossil-bearing stratigraphic succession, regional correlation, and age estimates of the fossils found in Jianchang County and nearby areas have been contentious. Here, we report on the vertebrate fossil-bearing Jurassic stratigraphy from Linglongta, Jianchang County, western Liaoning, including a SHRIMP U-Pb zircon date unambiguously associated with the fossil horizons. The primary goal was to determine the vertebrate fossil-bearing succession. A further aim was to provide age estimations for the fossil-bearing horizon as well as the earliest appearance of feathered dinosaurs, the eutherian-placental clade, and transitional pterosaurs. Field investigations showed that the vertebrate fossil-bearing stratigraphic succession in Jianchang County mainly consists of basal andesites overlain by rhythmic tuffs and tuffaceous lacustrine sediments, with the upper intermediate or acidic lavas interbedded with laminated more or less tuffaceous lacustrine deposits. This sequence correlates well with the Middle Jurassic Lanqi/Tiaojishan Formation in northeastern China. Detailed and accurate field observations showed that the well-preserved vertebrate fossils were buried in either the middle or the upper fine-grained laminated lacustrine deposits. Previous and current SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dates provide an age estimation of 161-159 Myr for the fossil-bearing horizon and vertebrates. This indicates that the earliest appearance of feathered dinosaurs here was more than 159 Myr ago and unquestionably older than Archaeopteryx from Germany, making these the earliest known feathered dinosaurs in the world. Furthermore, the eutherian-placental clade and the known transitional pterosaurs first emerged no later than 161 Myr. The vertebrate assemblage unearthed recently from Linglongta and neighboring areas in Jianchang County belongs to the Daohugou Biota. 18Analysis and Prediction of Influence Imposed on Jiaozhou Bay Tidal Currents and Tidal Energy of M_2 Tidal System by Jiaozhou Bay Reclamation显示文摘The 3-D ECOMSED ocean model was applied to establish a time-dependent boundary model for Jiaozhou Bay (JZB), in which the operator-splitting technique was used and the ‘dry and wet’ method was introduced. The influence caused by JZB reclamation on the surface level, residual currents, tidal system and tidal energy of M2 tidal system were predicted and analyzed. The results show that JZB reclamation has slight impact on the M2 tidal system, in which the variation of amplitude and phase is less than 1%.The changes of the currents and residual currents in Qian Bay and near the reclamation areas are greater, but in other areas the changes are smaller, in which the currents have a change of around 1%, while the residual currents change ranges from 1.82%–9.61%. 20Tubeimoside-1 induces TFEB-dependent lysosomal degradation of PD-L1 and promotes antitumor immunity by targeting mTOR显示文摘Programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)/programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)cascade is an effective therapeutic target for immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)therapy.Targeting PD-L1/PD-1 axis by small-molecule drug is an attractive approach to enhance antitumor immunity.Using flow cytometry-based assay,we identify tubeimoside-1(TBM-1)as a promising antitumor immune modulator that negatively regulates PD-L1 level.TBM-1 disrupts PD-1/PD-L1 interaction and enhances the cytotoxicity of T cells toward cancer cells through decreasing the abundance of PD-L1.Furthermore,TBM-1 exerts its antitumor effect in mice bearing Lewis lung carcinoma(LLC)and B16 melanoma tumor xenograft via activating tumor-infiltrating T-cell immunity.Mechanistically,TBM-1 triggers PD-L1 lysosomal degradation in a TFEB-dependent,autophagy-independent pathway.TBM-1 selectively binds to the mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)kinase and suppresses the activation of m TORC1,leading to the nuclear translocation of TFEB and lysosome biogenesis.Moreover,the combination of TBM-1 and anti-CTLA-4 effectively enhances antitumor T-cell immunity and reduces immunosuppressive infiltration of myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)and regulatory T(Treg)cells.Our findings reveal a previously unrecognized antitumor mechanism of TBM-1 and represent an alternative ICB therapeutic strategy to enhance the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy.Xiaojia Liu Mingxiao Yin Jingwen Dong Genxiang Mao Wenjian Min Zean Kuang Peng Yang Lu Liu Na Zhang Hongbin Deng 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,10:5
