| 1 | Evaluation of Ecosystem Services Value of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve by Multiple Criteria显示文摘Understanding the value of ecosystem services is useful for the decision making and sustainable management of the wetlands. It would be better to integrate ecological, economic and social factors into ecosystem service valuation. The general value of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve in the southwest China by integrating a social welfare weight, which is determined by a three-level analytic hierarchy process, was calculated. Through analyzing the functions, stakeholders and ecosystem services of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve, the six main services, including substance production, flood control, gas regulation, climate regulation, recreation, and biodiversity conservation,were selected; and a three-level hierarchical structure model was established. The top(goal) level of the model refers to the total ecosystem services value of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve, the middle level(stakeholder level) refers to stakeholders at different scales, and the bottom level(service level) refers to individual services provided by the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve. The results indicated that the ecosystem services value of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve was 320.38×10~8yuan RMB in 2011. If including the social welfare, the value increased to 2258.68×10~8yuan RMB. The value of biodiversity conservation accounted for the largest proportion, which were 53% without the social welfare and 75% with it. And without the social welfare, flood control, gas regulation, climate regulation of the Zoigê Wetland Nature Reserve accounted for 26%, 11% and 8% of the total value, while the proportion that substance production and recreation values were of the total value were very small. | 2 | Electrochemical oxidation of 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctane sulfonic acid(6:2 FTS) on DSA electrode:Operating parameters and mechanism显示文摘The 6:2 FTS was the substitute for perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS) in the chrome plating industry in Japan. Electrochemical oxidation of 6:2 FTS was investigated in this study. The degradabilities of PFOS and 6:2 FTS were tested on the Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3anode. The effects of current density,potential,and supporting electrolyte on the degradation of 6:2 FTS were evaluated. Experimental results showed that 6:2 FTS was more easily degraded than PFOS on the Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3anode. At a low current density of 1.42 mA/cm2,6:2 FTS was not degraded on Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3,while the degradation ratio increased when the current density ranged from 4.25 to 6.80 mA/cm2. The degradation of 6:2 FTS at current density of 6.80 mA/cm2 followed pseudo first-order kinetics with the rate constant of 0.074 hr-1. The anodic potential played an important role in the degradation of 6:2 FTS,and the pseudo first-order rate constants increased with the potential. The surface of Ti/SnO2–Sb2O5–Bi2O3was contaminated after electrolysis at constant potential of 3 V,while the fouling phenomenon was not observed at 5 V. The fouled anode could be regenerated by incinerating at 600°C. The intermediates detected by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a triple-stage quadrupole mass spectrometer(UPLC–MS/MS) were shorter chain perfluorocarboxylic acids. | 5 | Highly efficient removal of perfluorooctanoic acid from aqueous solution by H2O2-enhanced electrocoagulation-electroflotation technique显示文摘Electrocoagulation(EC)technique was used to investigate the removal performance of aqueous perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)with relatively high concentration as simulating the wastewater from organic fluorine industry.A comparison was done with the similar amount of coagulant between EC and chemical coagulation process.PFOA removal obtained was higher with EC process,especially for Fe anode.Several factors were studied to optimize the EC process.At the optimal operating parameters including 37.5 mA/cm^2 of current density,initial pH 3.77,and 180 rpm of mixing speed,93%of PFOA could be removed with 100 mg/L of initial concentration after 90-min electrolysis.Furthermore,the remove efficiency could be obviously improved by H2O2 intermittent addition,which removed more than 99%of PFOA within 40-min EC.It could be attributed to that H2O2 facilitated the oxidative transformation from ferrous to ferric ion.In addition,the adsorptive removal of aqueous PFOA on Fe flocs during EC was also verified by fourier transform infrared spectra. | Bo Yang Yanni Han Yunpan Deng Yingying Li Qiongfang Zhuo Jinhua Wu | 2016 | Emerging Contaminants2016,2,1: | 2 |

| 18 | Self-templating synthesis of biomass-based porous carbon nanotubes for energy storage and catalytic degradation applications显示文摘Dwindling energy sources and a worsening environment are huge global problems,and biomass wastes are an under-exploited source of material for both energy and material generation.Herein,self-template decoction dregs of Ganoderma lucidum-derived porous carbon nanotubes(ST-DDLGCs)were synthesized via a facile and scalable strategy in response to these challenges.ST-DDLGCs exhibited a large surface area(1731.51 m^(2)g^(-1))and high pore volume(0.76 cm^(3)g^(-1)),due to the interlacing tubular structures of precursors and extra-hierarchical porous structures on tube walls.In the ST-DDLGC/PMS system,the degradation efficiency of capecitabine(CAP)reached~97.3%within 120 min.Moreover,ST-DDLGCs displayed high catalytic activity over a wide pH range of 3–9,and strong anti-interference to these typical and ubiquitous anions in wastewater and natural water bodies(i.e.,H_(2)PO_(4)^(-),NO_(3)^(-),Cl^(-) and HCO_(3)^(-)),in which a ^(1)O_(2)-dominated oxidation was identified and non-radical mechanisms were deduced.Additionally,ST-DDLGC-based coin-type symmetrical supercapacitors exhibited outstanding electrochemical performance,with specific capacitances of up to 328.1 F g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1),and cycling stability of up to 98.6%after 10,000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g^(-1).The superior properties of ST-DDLGCs could be attributed to the unique porous tubular structure,which facilitated mass transfer and presented numerous active sites.The results highlight ST-DDLGCs as a potential candidate for constructing inexpensive and advanced environmentally functional materials and energy storage devices. | Manman Xu Shiqi Fu Yukai Wen Wei Li Qiongfang Zhuo Haida Zhu Zhikeng Zheng Yuwen Chen Anqi Wang Kai Yan | 2024 | Green Energy & Environment2024,9,3: | 0 |
| 19 | Pterostilbene accelerates wound healing by modulating diabetes-induced estrogen receptorβsuppression in hematopoietic stem cells显示文摘Background:Delayed wound healing is one of the major complications of diabetes mellitus and is characterized by prolonged inflammation,delayed re-epithelialization and consistent oxidative stress,although the detailed mechanism remains unknown.In this study,we aimed to investigate the potential role and effect of pterostilbene(PTE)and hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)on diabetic wound healing.Methods:Diabetic rats were used to measure the epigenetic changes in both HSCs and peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs).A cutaneous burn injury was induced in the rats and PTE-treated diabetic HSCs were transplanted for evaluation of wound healing.In addition,several biomedical parameters,including gene expression,oxidative stress,mitochondrial function and inflammation in macrophages,were also measured.Results:Our data showed that PTE had a much stronger effect than resveratrol on accelerating diabetic wound healing,likely because PTE can ameliorate diabetes-induced epigenetic changes to estrogen receptorβpromoter in HSCs,while resveratrol cannot.Further investigation showed that bone marrow transplantation of PTE-treated diabetic HSCs restores diabetes-induced suppression of estrogen receptorβand its target genes,including nuclear respiratory factor-1 and superoxide dismutase 2,and protects against diabetes-induced oxidative stress,mitochondrial dysfunction and elevated pro-inflammatory cytokines in both PBMCs and macrophages,subsequently accelerating cutaneous wound healing.Conclusions:HSC may play an important role in wound healing through transferring epigenetic modifications to subsequent PBMCs and macrophages by differentiation,while PTE accelerates diabetic wound healing by modulating diabetes-induced epigenetic changes in HSCs.Thus,PTE may be a novel therapeutic strategy for diabetic wound healing. | Weiguo Xie Xueqing Zhou Weigang Hu Zhigang Chu Qiongfang Ruan Haimou Zhang Min Li Hongyu Zhang Xiaodong Huang Paul Yao | 2021 | Burns & Trauma2021,9,1: | 0 |
| 20 | Degradation of florfenicol in a flow-through electro-Fenton system enhanced by wood-derived block carbon(WBC)cathode显示文摘The flow-through electro-Fenton(EF-T)reactor with WBC cathode was designed to remove florfenicol(FF).The activated WBC cathode was prepared by facile carbonization and activation methods,and featured high specific surface area,natural multi-channel structure,abundant oxygen-containing groups,good hydrophilicity,and excellent O_(2)reducing capacity.WBC cathode was located above Ti/Ru-IrO_(2)mesh anode.O_(2)evolved at the anode was carried to the inner wall of channel of WBC by the force of buoyancy and water flow,which increases oxygen source of H_(2)O_(2)generation at the cathode.The flow-through system by using WBC electrode promote the mass transfer of O_(2)and FF.The production amount of H_(2)O_(2)at activated WBC was 32.2 mg/L,which was almost twice as much as that at non-activated WBC(15.0 mg/L).FF removal ratio in EF-T system was 98%,which was much higher than that of traditional flow-by electro-Fenton(EF-B,33%)or single electrooxidation system(EO,16%).EF-T system has the lowest energy consumption(4.367 kWh/kg)among the three electrochemical systems.The cathodic adsorption,anodic electrooxidation,and EF reaction are responsible for the degradation of FF.After five consecutive cycle experiments,FF removal ratio was still 98%,indicating WBC has the good stability. | Li Tian Qiongfang Zhuo Jincheng Lu Jingjing Liu Xiaofeng Xu Xiaolin You Manman Xu Bo Yang Junfeng Niu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,11: | 0 |
