1A novel surrogate modeling strategy of the mechanical properties of 3D braided composites显示文摘In this paper,a surrogate-based modeling methodology is developed and presented to predict the elastic properties of three dimensional(3 D)four-directional braided composites.Using this approach,the prediction process becomes feasible with only a limited number of training points.The surrogate models constructed using Finite Element(FE)method and Diffuse Approximation,reduce the computational time and cost for preparing experimental samples.In the FE model,multiscale method is applied to couple the computations of elastic properties at microscale and mesoscale.Subsequently,a parametric study is performed to analyze the effects of the three design parameters on the elastic properties.Satisfactory results are obtained via the surrogatebased modeling predictions,which are compared with the experimental measurements.Moreover,the predictions obtained from surrogate models concur well with the FE predictions.This study orients a new direction for predicting the mechanical properties based on surrogate models which can effectively reduce the sample preparation cost and computational efforts.Zeyi LIU Yuliang HOU Qiaoli ZHAO Cheng LI 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,10:2

14Experimental study on filtering mixed solid-liquid dust with a sliding granular bed filter显示文摘The filtration of mixed dust that included a small number of melted(liquid)particles was studied in an experimental granular bed filter(GBF).Results show that the collection efficiency of dust containing melted particles is higher than that of dust composed of solid particles but the pressure drop from the former is higher than that of the latter.The collection efficiency and pressure drop increase as the concentration of melted particles increases.A surface sliding GBF exhibits good comprehensive performance when filtering dust,especially dust containing a mix of solid and liquid particles.The effects of the gas temperature,gas velocity,sliding filter bed thickness,and sliding collector flux on filter performance were also examined.Based on the experimental results,correlations for the collection efficiency and pressure drop for mixed dust are presented.Yankai Peng Chuanping Liu Li Wang Shaowu Yin Lige Tong Zeyi Jiang 2021Particuology2021,19,5:1

16Mantle Cell Lymphoma in a Lacrimal Gland in a Female and a Review of the Literature显示文摘Purpose:To report a rare case of Mantle cell lymphoma in lacrimal gland and review of the literature Case report:.We report a case of a 59-year-old female who presented with an upper eyelid mass in the right eye for 3months, without pain and irrigation. A computerized tomography(CT) scan showed a mass in the bilateral lacrimal gland region, more significant in right eye. The patient underwent a lacrimal gland mass excision surgery and diagnosis of mantle cell lymphoma by histopathology..Immunochemistry for CD20, CD79 a, CD5, and Cyclin D1 was positive.
