| 1 | Contour representation based on wedgelet显示文摘Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing wed gelet compression arithmetics, a novel contour-representing algorithm based on wedgelets is presented in this paper. Firstly the input image is binarized and the most optimized wedgelets ar e found by means of quadtree framework. | 2 | A novel surrogate modeling strategy of the mechanical properties of 3D braided composites显示文摘In this paper,a surrogate-based modeling methodology is developed and presented to predict the elastic properties of three dimensional(3 D)four-directional braided composites.Using this approach,the prediction process becomes feasible with only a limited number of training points.The surrogate models constructed using Finite Element(FE)method and Diffuse Approximation,reduce the computational time and cost for preparing experimental samples.In the FE model,multiscale method is applied to couple the computations of elastic properties at microscale and mesoscale.Subsequently,a parametric study is performed to analyze the effects of the three design parameters on the elastic properties.Satisfactory results are obtained via the surrogatebased modeling predictions,which are compared with the experimental measurements.Moreover,the predictions obtained from surrogate models concur well with the FE predictions.This study orients a new direction for predicting the mechanical properties based on surrogate models which can effectively reduce the sample preparation cost and computational efforts. | Zeyi LIU Yuliang HOU Qiaoli ZHAO Cheng LI | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,10: | 2 |
| 3 | Process operation performance of PDMS membrane pervaporation coupled with fermentation for efficient bioethanol production显示文摘There would be strong product inhibition on ethanol fermentation process if ethanol is not removed in situ from broth. PDMS membrane pervaporation coupled with fermentation is a promising process for efficient bioethanol production since ethanol inhibition is relieved or eliminated. From the perspective of process operation, membrane separation performance, ethanol fermentation performance and the subsequent processing on membrane downstream are the three key issues. This review aims at contributing a comprehensive overview on the operation performance of the integrated process. The state-of-the-art of the three key issues related to the operation performance is focused. | 7 | Numerical Simulation of Flow and Heat Transfer from Slot Jets Impinging on a Cylindrical Convex Surface显示文摘Flow and heat transfer characteristics of slot jets impingement to a cylindrical convex surface are numerically investigated.Suitable turbulence models have been determined through comparison with the experimental data.Flow structures are described and impingement heat transfer characteristics are discussed.The effects of Re,H/B and D/B on single-slot jets impingement heat transfer are analyzed and heat transfer characteristics of multiple-slot jets are investigated.The results show that:Gas flows along the convex surface and boundary layer separation occurs in both single and multiple-slot jets impingement.A maximum stagnation Nu appears at H/B=8 and the local Nu decreases with increasing H/B in the region far away from the stagnation.The Nu in the stagnation region decreases with increasing D/B but the Nu is nearly the same in the region far away from the stagnation.Pressure gradient is an important factor on heat transfer enhancement.Correlations of the Num for single-slot,double-slot and quadric-slot jets impinging on a convex surface are obtained.It indicates the effects of Re and D/B on Num could become more important in less slot jets impingement. | Zeyi JIANG Cuicui LIU Xinxin ZHANG Qiang MA Yusheng SUN | 2011 | Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,5: | 1 |

| 10 | Morphological,histological and molecular characteristics of Myxobolus spp.(Cnidaria:Myxozoa)infecting the kidney of silver carp in Lake Taihu显示文摘Myxozoans are common microscopic endoparasites in fish,and some are highly pathogenic to their wild and farmed fish hosts.In the present study,myxosporeans infection in the kidney of silver carp Hypophthalmichthys molitrix(Valenciennes,1844)from Lake Taihu,was investigated,and two dominate species,Myxobolus lieni(Nie&Li,1973)and M.varius(Achmerov,1960),with infection prevalence 60.2%and 35.2%,respectively,were well characterized based on morphological,histopathological and DNA sequence data.M.lieni formed small roundish plasmodia in the epithelial cells of renal tubules.The mature myxospores appeared suborbicular,slightly flat in frontal view and fusiform shaped in sutural view.Dispersed myxospores of M.varius were found in the renal interstitium without forming plasmodia structures and enclosed within melano-macrophage centers.The spore appeared elliptical in frontal view,with wider anterior than posterior and shuttle shaped in sutural view.Interestingly,the occurrence of myxozoans in the kidney detected with SSU rDNA PCR and clone sequencing,revealed co-infection of five Myxobolus species.BLASTn search indicated SSU r DNA gene sequences obtained here were not identical to any sequence available in GenBank.Phylogenetic analyses showed that the five Myxobolus species detected here were clustered together,forming a separate clade of cyprinid-infecting myxozoans. | Qingjie Zhou Zeyi Cao Zhipeng Gao Bingwen Xi Kai Liu | 2023 | Zoological Systematics2023,48,2: | 0 |

| 12 | Determination of void boundary in a packed bed by laser attenuation measurement显示文摘Voids are important regions in some industrial processes,particularly in the iron-making process,because a void is a zone in which gas-solid heat transfer and reactions occur.This paper presents a 3D experimental study of void formation measurement with 2D projection in a packed bed using an optical method.By developing an experimental laser-attenuation scanning method,invisible voids that form in a packed bed can be detected and identified as relatively stable ellipsoids.The effects of various operational parameters on void formation are analyzed in terms of the resulting void sizes and shapes.The results show that the void shape that forms in the packed bed is close to an ellipsoid and is relatively stable.The void size is positively correlated with the blast volume rate and is negatively correlated with the blowpipe diameter.The blowpipe depth has no significant effect on either the void formation or size.The blast angle affects the void location strongly;when this angle is increased,the void moves upward.The information and methods obtained in this experiment are significant in aiding understanding of the mechanism of void formation in gas-solid reactors. | Yuanxiang Lu Zeyi Jiang Xinru Zhang Sihan Liu Jingsong Wang Xinxin Zhang | 2020 | Particuology2020,18,4: | 0 |
| 13 | Simultaneous recovery of phosphorus and nitrogen from liquid digestate by vacuum membrane distillation with permeate fractional condensation显示文摘A vacuum membrane distillation(VMD)process with permeate fractional condensation on membrane downstream has been developed for simultaneous recovery of phosphorus and nitrogen from liquid digestate.The polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)membrane flux could reach 6000 g·m-2·h-1 with the rejection efficiency of total phosphorus(TP)over 0.99,under the condition of flowrate being 120 L·h-1 and temperature being 40°C.Membrane fouling occurred with a film of organics and microorganism deposited on the surface of the membrane.Membrane flux could be reversed after the membrane was rinsed by water.Higher feed temperature and flowrate could improve the membrane flux,while hardly affect the rejection efficiency of total phosphorus.The concentration of TP could reach 1600 mg·L-1 after membrane distillation,which is about 5 times of that in initial liquid digestate.On the downstream of the membrane,some of the permeate vapor was condensed under the vacuum condition and most of water was collected here.The remaining vapor enriched with total nitrogen(TN)was compressed and pumped to the atmospheric condition to condense.The TN concentration in atmospheric condensate was as high as 7000 mg·L-1 with the process separation factor for ammonia being enhanced to 114. | Boya Qiu Senqing Fan Xiaoyu Tang Bufan Qi Liangwei Deng Wenguo Wang Jingyun Liu Yuyang Wang Zeyi Xiao | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,6: | 0 |
