1Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 3Effect of EME1 exon variant Ile350Thr on risk and early onset of breast cancer in southern Chinese women显示文摘Essential meiotic endonuclease 1 homolog 1 (EME1) is a key DNA repair protein that participates in the recognition and repair of DNA double-strand breaks. Deficiency of the EME1 gene can lead to spontaneous genomic instability and thus contribute to tumorgenesis. We hypothesized that the exon variants of EME1 confer genetic susceptibility to breast cancer. In a case-control study of 748 breast cancer patients and 778 normal controls, we analyzed the association between two exon variants of EME1 (i.e.,Ile350Thr: rs12450550T>C and Glu69Asp: rs3760413T>G) and breast cancer risk. We found that compared to the common Ile/Ile genotype, the Thr variant genotypes (Thr/Ile+Thr/Thr) conferred a 1.47-fold increased risk of breast cancer (OR=1.47, 95% CI=1.13-1.92). The variant Ile350Thr was also associated with early onset of breast cancer (r=-0.116, P=0.002). The mean age of onset was 44.4 years for Thr/Thr genotype carriers and 46.5 years for Thr/Ile genotype carriers, which was significantly lower than that (49.4 years) for Ile/Ile genotype carriers (P=0.006). Moreover, no significant association was observed between the Glu69Asp variant and breast cancer risk. 5Nano-hydroxyapatite(n-HA)involved in the regeneration of rat nerve injury triggered by overloading stretch显示文摘Damage of axon and glial scars formation both inhibit nerve regenerative growth during nerve injury.In addition,mechanical stretch at high displacement rates of 10%tensile strain can cause marked nerve injury,it is important for finding a proper nano biomaterial to repair nerve injury.Nano-hydroxyapatite(n-HA)has excellent biocompatibility and high bioactivity,which is a good candidate for biomedical engineering applications.But the certain mechanism of n-HA on the injured nerve is seldom reported.In this study,we determined the role of n-HA on the mechanical stretch-induced nerve injury at adult rat spine.Mechanical stretch under strain 10%at displacement rates of 60 mm/min can cause marked broken vessels and edema in spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion tissue in haematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.However,n-HA application can reverse hemorrhage and edema triggered by high rates of 60 mm/min stretch.Moreover,n-HA can promote positive staining of Netrin-1 increase significantly in spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion tested by immunohistochemistry(IHC)staining.In general,our study indicated that n-HA can repair mechanical stretch-induced nerve injury,it may provide a new approach to block injury and accelerate nerve regeneration in future.Meili Liu Chongquan Huang Zhijun Zhao Anqing Wang Ping Li Yubo Fan Gang Zhou 2019Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2019,,4:1

12Safety-Critical Game-Based Formation Control of Underactuated Autonomous Surface Vehicles显示文摘Dear Editor,This letter addresses the noncooperative formation control of multiple underactuated autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs) in an obstacle-laden environment.Each ASV is subject to external disturbances and fully unknown model parameters.A safety-critical game-based formation control method is proposed such that the multiple AS Vs are able to track a reference trajectory,and accomplish each individual interest in safety behaviors simultaneously.The stability and safety analyses show that the closed-loop system is input-to-state stable (ISS),and the multi-ASV system is guaranteed for input-to-state safety (ISSf).Simulation results substantiate the proposed safety-critical game-based formation control method.Nan Gu Haoliang Wang Anqing Wang Lu Liu 2023IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2023,10,4:0
