1Toxicity of copper,lead,and cadmium on the motility of two marine microalgae Isochrysis galbana and Tetraselmis chui显示文摘Computer assisted movement tracking was used to characterize the motility of two marine microalgae,Isochrysis galbana and Tetraselmis chui,and to investigate the toxicity of Cu,Pb,and Cd on motile percentage,curvilinear velocity,average path velocity,straight line velocity,linearity,straightness,and wobble.Except for motile percentage,all other motility parameters differed significantly between I.galbana and T.chui.Based on relative motile percentage data,the median effective concentration (EC 50) of Cu on the motility of I.galbana and T.chui was 31.4 and 1.3 μmol/L,respectively,while for Pb it was 37.8 and 10.9 μmol/L and for Cd it was 121.6 and 37.8 μmol/L,respectively.Compared to I.galbana,T.chui was more sensitive to all tested metals.The toxic effect of the heavy metals on motility exhibited the following decreasing order for both species:Cu > Pb > Cd.Our results indicate that I.galbana and T.chui motility is sensitive to heavy metals and can be used as an indicator for toxicology bioassays.Guangxu Liu Xueliang Chai Yanqing Shao Lihua Hu Qilang Xie Hongxi Wu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2:2

17Spatial variations of Pb,As,and Cu in surface snow along the transect from the Zhongshan Station to Dome A,East Antarctica显示文摘The spatial distributions of lead, arsenic, and copper(Pb, As, and Cu, respectively) in surface snow along the transect from the Zhongshan Station to Dome A, East Antarctica, are presented. The mean concentrations of Pb, As, and Cu are1.04±1.56 pg/g, 0.39±0.08 pg/g, and 11.2±14.4 pg/g, respectively. It is estimated that anthropogenic contributions are dominant for Pb, As, and Cu. Spatially, Pb concentrations show an exponentially decreasing trend from the coast inland, while a moderate decreasing trend is observed for Cu concentrations in the coastal area(below 2,000 m above sea level(a.s.l.)).In the intermediate area(2,000–3,000 m a.s.l.), the concentrations and enrichment factors of all these elements show high variability due to the complicated characteristics of climate and environment. On the inland plateau(above 3,000 m a.s.l.),the high concentrations of As and Pb are induced by high deposition efficiency, the existence of polar stratospheric precipitation, and the different fraction deposition to East Antarctica. The extremely high concentrations with maximum values of9.59 pg/g and 69.9 pg/g for Pb and Cu, respectively, are suggested to result mainly from local human activities at the station. 19Prediction of the high-quality development level of inbound tourism based on adaptive neural network technology显示文摘Visitors abroad come on an inbound tourism (IT) trip. Travelling beyond one’s usual surroundingsfor no more than a year in one go, or no less than tourist culture is considered inboundtourism. A network called adaptive neural networks (ANN) is used in dynamic tourism situations.Many methods are used to make neural networks flexible: weight adjustment, changes in neuronalcharacteristics, and changes in the network’s structural composition. One of the biggestproblems is that cultural clashes lead to many different places, which strain the transportationsystem. IT-ANN tools and technologies are discussed in this study, including the possibilities ofvisitor time and space-relationship data. As a result, inbound tourism doesn’t have to rely onweekend domestic travel because individuals who go on holiday overseas tend to return yearafter year. 20Preparation and Modification of Micro-Mesoporous Carbon Materials for Toluene Adsorption显示文摘In the process of toluene adsorption, the choice of adsorbent is the key. In this work, micro-mesoporous carbon materials were prepared and characterized. The synthesis process was performed by using MCM-41 as the template, and sucrose and furfuryl alcohol as the carbon source, respectively. The toluene adsorption capacity of studied adsorbents was evaluated under different toluene initial concentration, temperature and bed height. In order to further improve the adsorption capacity, nitric acid was used for modification of the selected adsorbent. The adsorption performance after modification was also investigated. The prepared carbon materials were characteristic of typical type IV isotherms and pore size distribution was focused on micropores and mesopores. Compared with MCM-41, the prepared carbon materials showed high toluene adsorption capacity. After modification the specific surface area and oxygen groups of adsorbent were increased, making the adsorption capacity increase from 185.3 mg/g to a maximum value of 514.7 mg/g.
