2Nanostructured Ternary Metal Tungstate-Based Photocatalysts for Environmental Purification and Solar Water Splitting:A Review显示文摘Visible-light-responsive ternary metal tungstate(MWO_4) photocatalysts are being increasingly investigated for energy conversion and environmental purification applications owing to their striking features, including low cost,eco-friendliness, and high stability under acidic and oxidative conditions. However, rapid recombination of photoinduced electron–hole pairs and a narrow light response range to the solar spectrum lead to low photocatalytic activity of MWO_4-based materials, thus significantly hampering their wide usage in practice. To enable their widespread practical usage, significant efforts have been devoted, by developing new concepts and innovative strategies. In this review, we aim to provide an integrated overview of the fundamentals and recent progress of MWO_4-based photocatalysts. Furthermore, different strategies, including morphological control, surface modification, heteroatom doping, and heterojunction fabrication, which are employed to promote the photocatalyticactivities of MWO_4-based materials, are systematically summarized and discussed. 3On theory and methods for advanced detonation-driven hypervelocity shock tunnels显示文摘This study describes theory and methods for developing detonation-driven shock tunnels in hypervelocity test facilities.The primary concept and equations for high-enthalpy shock tunnels are presented first to demonstrate the unique advantage of shock tubes for aerodynamic ground-based testing.Then,the difficulties in simulating flight conditions in hypervelocity shock tunnels are identified,and discussed in detail to address critical issues underlying these difficulties.Theory and methods for developing detonation drivers are proposed,and relevant progress that has advanced the state of the art in large-scale hypersonic test facilities is presented with experimental verifications.Finally,tailored conditions for detonation-driven shock tunnels are described,laying a solid foundation to achieve long test duration.This interface-matching key issue encountered in developing shock tunnels has been investigated for decades,but not solved for detonation drivers in engineering applications.Zonglin Jiang Jinping Li Zongmin Hu Yunfeng Liu Hongru Yu 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:6

6TRIM47 is a novel endothelial activation factor that aggravates lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury in mice via K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2显示文摘Endothelial activation plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of sepsis-induced acute lung injury,however,the detailed regulatory mechanisms remain largely unknown.Here,we reported that TRIM47,an E3 ubiquitin ligase of the tripartite motifcontaining protein family,was highly expressed in vascular endothelial cells.TRIM47-deficient mice were effectively resistant to lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced acute lung injury and death by attenuating pulmonary inflammation.TRIM47 was upregulated during TNFα-induced endothelial activation in vitro.Knockdown of TRIM47 in endothelial cells inhibited the transcription of multiple pro-inflammatory cytokines,reduced monocyte adhesion and the expression of adhesion molecules,and suppressed the secretion of IL-1βand IL-6 in endothelial cells.By contrast,overexpression of TRIM47 promoted inflammatory response and monocyte adhesion upon TNFαstimulation.In addition,TRIM47 was able to activate the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways during endothelial activation.Furthermore,our experiments revealed that TRIM47 resulted in endothelial activation by promoting the K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2,a key component of the TNFαsignaling pathway.Taken together,our studies demonstrated that TRIM47 as a novel activator of endothelial cells,promoted LPS-induced pulmonary inflammation and acute lung injury through potentiating the K63-linked ubiquitination of TRAF2,which in turn activates NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways to trigger an inflammatory response in endothelial cells.Yisong Qian Ziwei Wang Hongru Lin Tianhua Lei Zhou Zhou Weilu Huang Xuehan Wu Li Zuo Jie Wu Yu Liu Ling-Fang Wang Xiao-Hui Guan Ke-Yu Deng Mingui Fu Hong-Bo Xin 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,6:2
7A Novel MDFA-MKECA Method With Application to Industrial Batch Process Monitoring显示文摘For the complex batch process with characteristics of unequal batch data length,a novel data-driven batch process monitoring method is proposed based on mixed data features analysis and multi-way kernel entropy component analysis(MDFA-MKECA)in this paper.Combining the mechanistic knowledge,different mixed data features of each batch including statistical and thermodynamics entropy features,are extracted to finish data pre-processing.After that,MKECA is applied to reduce data dimensionality and finally establish a monitoring model.The proposed method is applied to a reheating furnace industry process,and the experimental results demonstrate that the MDFA-MKECA method can reduce the calculated amount and effectively provide on-line monitoring of the batch process.Yinghua Yang Xiang Shi Xiaozhi Liu Hongru Li 2020IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,5:2
8Light-driven single-cell rotational adhesion frequency assay显示文摘The interaction between cell surface receptors and extracellular ligands is highly related to many physiological processes in living systems.Many techniques have been developed to measure the ligand-receptor binding kinetics at the single-cell level.However,few techniques can measure the physiologically relevant shear binding affinity over a single cell in the clinical environment.Here,we develop a new optical technique,termed single-cell rotational adhesion frequency assay(scRAFA),that mimics in vivo cell adhesion to achieve label-free determination of both homogeneous and heterogeneous binding kinetics of targeted cells at the subcellular level.Moreover,the scRAFA is also applicable to analyze the binding affinities on a single cell in native human biofluids.With its superior performance and general applicability,scRAFA is expected to find applications in study of the spatial organization of cell surface receptors and diagnosis of infectious diseases.Yaoran Liu Hongru Ding Jingang Li Xin Lou Mingcheng Yang Yuebing Zheng 2022eLight2022,2,1:2

11A potent PGK1 antagonist reveals PGK1 regulates the production of IL-1βand IL-6显示文摘Glycolytic metabolism enzymes have been implicated in the immunometabolism field through changes in metabolic status. PGK1 is a catalytic enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. Here, we set up a high-throughput screen platform to identify PGK1 inhibitors. DC-PGKI is an ATPcompetitive inhibitor of PGK1 with an affinity of Kd= 99.08 nmol/L. DC-PGKI stabilizes PGK1in vitro and in vivo, and suppresses both glycolytic activity and the kinase function of PGK1. In addition,DC-PGKI unveils that PGK1 regulates production of IL-1β and IL-6 in LPS-stimulated macrophages.Mechanistically, inhibition of PGK1 with DC-PGKI results in NRF2(nuclear factor-erythroid factor 2-related factor 2, NFE2L2) accumulation, then NRF2 translocates to the nucleus and binds to the proximity region of Il-1β and Il-6 genes, and inhibits LPS-induced expression of these genes. DC-PGKI ameliorates colitis in the dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis mouse model. 12Amorphous NiO_(n)coupled with trace PtO_(x)toward superior electrocatalytic overall water splitting in alkaline seawater media显示文摘Developing corrosion resistance bifunctional electrocatalysts with high activity and stability toward both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),especially electrolysis in seawater,is of prime significance but still pressingly challenging.Herein,in-situ introduced PtO_(x)on the derivative amorphous NiO_(n)is prepared via heat treatment of Ni ZIFL nanosheets on nickel foam under low temperature(PtO_(x)-NiO_(n)/NF).The synthesized PtO_(x)-NiO_(n)/NF possesses suprahydrophilic and aerophilic surface,then in favor of intimate contact between the electrode and electrolyte and release of the generated gas bubbles during the electrocatalysis.As a result,the in-situ PtO_(x)-NiO_(n)/NF electrode presents outstanding bifunctional activity,which only requires extremely low overpotentials of 32 and 240 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)for HER and OER,respectively,which exceeds most of the electrocatalysts previously developed and even suppresses commercial Pt/C and RuO_(2)electrodes.As for two-electrode cell organized by PtO_(x)-NiO_(n)/NF,the voltages down to 1.57 and 1.58 V are necessary to drive 10 mA·cm^(-2)with remarkable durability in 1 M KOH and alkaline seawater,respectively,along with remarkable stability.Moreover,a low cell voltage of 1.88 V is needed to achieve 1,000 mA·cm^(-2)toward water-splitting under industrial conditions.This study provides a new idea for designing in-situ amorphous metal oxide bifunctional electrocatalyst with strong Pt–support interaction for overall water splitting.Wenli Yu Hongru Liu Ying Zhao Yunlei Fu Weiping Xiao Bin Dong Zexing Wu Yongming Chai Lei Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:2

14Effects of levodopa on dopaminergic neurons and induced dyskinesia A radio-imaging study显示文摘BACKGROUND: Radio-imaging has been used in neurological diagnosis,in particular for extrapyramidal disease.Moreover,it has been extensively utilized for early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients and in animal studies.However,it has rarely been utilized to assess drug-induced side effects in PD.OBJECTIVE: To investigate changes in dopamine transporter expression in a rat model of PD through the use of radio-imaging taking 99mTc-TRODAT-1 as an imaging agent,and to explore the effect of levodopa (L-dopa) on dopaminergic neurons and the possible mechanisms of dyskinesia induction.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A randomized,controlled,animal study was performed at the Laboratory of Department of Nuclear Medicine,Soochow University from April 2006 to June 2007.MATERIALS: 6-hydroxydopamine was purchased from Sigma,USA and L-dopa was purchased from Shanghai Fuda Pharmaceutical,China.99mTcO4-fresh elutriant was provided by the Department of Nuclear Medicine,First Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University.TRODAT-1 image kit was provided by Jiangsu Atomic Energy Research Establishment,China.The SN-695B radioimmunoassay gamma counter was purchased from Shanghai Hesuo Rihuan Photoelectric Instrument,China.The AZ-CA256eZ-Scope portable γ camera was purchased from Anzai Medical,Japan.METHODS: A total of 34 healthy,male,Sprague Dawley rats were selected.Thirty were used to establish a PD model by injecting 6-hydroxydopamine into the right medial forebrain bundle,and four were injected with normal saline and served as the sham-surgery group.At the end of 4 weeks,21 successful PD models were selected and randomly assigned to the L-dopa (n = 15,20 mg/kg per day),model (n = 6,normal saline),and sham-surgery (n = 4,no treatment) groups.After 1 month of treatment,involuntary movement was evaluated twice weekly in each rat.A total of 0.2 mL 99mTc-TRODAT-1 was injected into the tail vein 2 days following drug termination,and images of dopamine transporters were acquired 2 hours later.The rats were sacrificed and the ratios of specific radioactivity uptake were calculated.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Manifestations of abnormal involuntary movement (AIM) were observed and total AIM scores were calculated.Images of dopamine transporters were acquired using an eZ-Scope portable γ camera,and radioactive γ quantification of 99mTc-TRODAT-1 in the rat brains was assayed.The ratios of the left and right corpora striata were determined.The number and function of dopamine transporters was evaluated according to specific radioactivity uptake ratio (R) from the left and right corpora striata.RESULTS: Of 15 PD rats,nine exhibited AIM following L-dopa treatment: five scored > 20,i.e.,severe grade,four scored 8–16,mild grade,and the remaining exhibited normal behavior.There were no differences in specific radioactivity uptake of dopamine transporter between the left and right corpora striata in the sham-surgery rats,and the images were clear and symmetrically distributed.Specific radioactivity uptake of the normal side (left) was significantly greater than the lesioned side (right) in the model group rats (P < 0.01),and the R value was significantly increased compared with the sham-surgery group (P < 0.01).The radio-ligand accumulation in the right corpus striatum was sparse.In the L-dopa group,specific radioactivity uptake was significantly decreased in the lesioned (right) side of the AIM rats,and the R value was increased compared with the model group (P < 0.05).The amount of radio-ligand in the right corpus striatum was diminished.The R value was significantly reduced in the non-AIM rats compared with the AIM rats (P < 0.05),and specific radioactivity uptake was significantly increased in the lesioned (right) side compared with the normal side (P < 0.05).Moreover,radio-ligand accumulation was observed in the right corpus striatum,and differences in radio-ligand accumulation between the two sides were reduced.CONCLUSION: Following L-dopa treatment,the number and function of dopamine transporter in some PD rats were reduced.L-dopa was shown to be toxic to dopaminergic neurons and induced dyskinesia.Xiuying Cai Yan Kong Hongru Zhao Bin Zhang Chunfeng Liu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,2:1
15Intracellular pH-responsive iron-catechin nanoparticles with osteogenic/anti-adipogenic and immunomodulatory effects for efficient bone repair显示文摘Osteoimmunomodulation was identified as a new and important strategy to enhance osteogenic differentiation together with other osteogenic approaches.However,approaches regulating osteogenic differentiation and macrophage polarization to remodel an osteoinductive microenvironment are separate and complicated.Therefore,the design and synthesis of one biomaterial that couples the osteogenic performance and immunomodulatory ability is a major challenge for efficient bone repair.In this study,self-assembled iron-catechin nanoparticles(Fe-cat NPs)were designed based on the coordinated reaction between iron ions and catechin and synthesized via a facile one-pot strategy.Interestingly,Fe-cat NPs show intracellular pH-responsive disassembly and release catechin molecules under the low pH of lysosomes after endocytosis.This strategy delivers catechin intracellularly and then enhances the osteogenic differentiation while inhibits the adipogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells(hADSCs).More importantly,Fe-cat NPs remodel the osteogenic immune microenvironment by resisting inflammation and promoting M2 polarization of macrophages.As a promising metal-organic nanodrug,the intracellular pH-responsive Fe-cat NPs significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of bone regneration by orchestrating osteogenic differentiation and immunomodulation,which may have great potential in bone tissue engineering.Ying Kong Feng Liu Baojin Ma Wenhan Wang Liang Li Xiaoying Xu Zhaoyang Sun Hongru Yang Yuanhua Sang Dong Li Gang Li Chao Liu Shuhua Wang Hong Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

17Coseismic deformation of the 2021 M_(W)7.4 Maduo earthquake from joint inversion of InSAR, GPS, and teleseismic data显示文摘The M_(W)7.4 Maduo earthquake occurred on 22 May 2021 at 02:04 CST with a large-expansion surface rupture.This earthquake was located in the Bayan Har block at the eastern Tibetan Plateau,where eight earthquakes of M_(S)>7.0 have occurred in the past 25 years.Here,we combined interferometric synthetic aperture radar,GPS,and teleseismic data to study the coseismic slip distribution,fault geometry,and dynamic source rupture process of the Maduo earthquake.We found that the overall coseismic deformation field of the Maduo earthquake is distributed in the NWW-SEE direction along 285°.There was slight bending at the western end and two branches at the eastern end.The maximum slip is located near the eastern bending area on the northern branch of the fault system.The rupture nucleated on the Jiangcuo fault and propagated approximately 160 km along-strike in both the NWW and SEE directions.The characteristic source rupture process of the Maduo earthquake is similar to that of the 2010 M_(W)6.8 Yushu earthquake,indicating that similar earthquakes with large-expansion surface ruptures and small shallow slip deficits can occur on both the internal fault and boundary fault of the Bayan Har block.Chaoya Liu Ling Bai Shunying Hong Yanfang Dong Yong Jiang Hongru Li Huili Zhan Zhiwen Chen 2021Earthquake Science2021,34,5:1
