| 1 | The long rather than the short allele of 5-HTTLPR predisposes Han Chinese to anxiety and reduced connectivity between prefrontal cortex and amygdala显示文摘The short allele of the serotonin-transporter gene is associated with higher risk for anxiety and depression in Caucasians, but this association is still unclear in Asians. Here, we addressed this issue using behavioral and multi-modal MRI approaches in a large group of healthy Han Chinese participants (n = 233). In contrast to findings in Caucasians, we found that long-allele (L) carriers had higher anxiety scores. In another group (n = 64) experiencing significant levels of depression or anxiety, the L-allele frequency was also significantly higher. In healthy participants, L-carriers had reduced functional and anatomical connectivity between the amygdala and prefrontal cortex (PFC), which was correlated with anxiety or depression scores. Our findings demonstrated that in Chinese Han participants, in contrast to Caucasians, the L-allele confers vulnerability to anxiety or depression and weakens top-down emotional control between the PFC and amygdala. | 8 | Prediction of HLA-A 2.1-restricted CTL epitopes from IGFBP7 antigen of lung carcinoma显示文摘Objective:With the development of peptide-based cancer specific immunotherapy,the prediction of CTL epitopes from insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7(IGFBP7) is very important for some research about tumor metastasis.Because HLA-A2.1-expressing individuals cover >50% in the population of China,we aimed at identifying IGFBP7-encoded peptide presented by HLA-A2.1.Methods:In our study,a HLA-A2.1 restricted CTL epitope was identified by using the following two-step procedure:(a) computer-based epitope prediction from the amino acid sequence of IGFBP7 antigen;(b) Validation with epitope molecular modeling.Results:We obtained four epitopes with high immunogenicity scores by all of the three algorithms,i.e.,BIMAS,SYFPEITHI and IMTECH.Each of the four candidates satisfied the criteria of the HLA-A2.1-restricted CTL epitopes in molecular modeling analysis.Conclusion:The combination of BIMAS,SYFPEITHI and IMTECH method can improve the prediction efficiency and accuracy.Due to this research herein,this four epitopes have potential value for further studied,also have potential application in peptide-mediated immunotherapy.These epitopes may be useful in the design of therapeutic peptide vaccine for lung carcinoma and as immunotherapeutic strategies against lung carcinoma after identified by immunology experiment. | Zhao Weipeng Long Haixia Zhu Bo Duan Yuzhong Chen Zhengtang | 2009 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2009,24,2: | 1 |
| 9 | A potential ethnic difference in the association between 5-HTTLPR polymorphisms and the brain default mode network显示文摘The serotonin-transporter-linked polymorphic region(5-HTTLPR)is associated with mood disorders.This association is thought to be due to amygdala hyperresponsiveness to negative emotional stimuli as a result of reduced frontal cortical control.In Caucasians,the short form is associated with this effect,but in Han Chinese we recently found that the long form is involved.Serotonin receptors have rich expression in default mode network(DMN)regions and the recent studies have found an association between the short form of the 5-HTTLPR and DMN functional connectivity(FC)in Caucasians.The present study has investigated whether there may also be anethnic difference in this influence of 5-HTTLPR on the DMN.We recruited 233 young Han Chinese subjects and calculated the resting-state default-network FC.Our study found that the L carriers had decreased FC in the bilateral medial prefrontal cortex,right parahippocampal gyrus,left middle temporal gyrus,and increased FC in left precuneus(Pcu)compared to SS.The PCC-Pcu FC in L carriers was significantly negatively correlated with the depression scores.Our findings,therefore,suggest that there is also a difference between Caucasian and Han Chinese subjects in the association between the different forms of the5-HTTLPR and DMN functional connectivity. | Haixia Long Bing Liu Bing Hou Chao Wang Keith M. | 10 | Immune response induced by hematoporphyrin derivatives mediated photodynamic therapy:Immunogenic cell death and elevated costimulatory molecules显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)not only destroys tumor cells directly but also induced anti-tumor immune response through damage-associated molecular patterns(DAMPs).It is reported that anti-tumor response was associated with light dose and photosensitizer used in PDT.In this study,4T1 tumor cells were implanted on both the right and left flanks of mice.Only the right tumor was treated by HpD-PDT,while the left tumor was not irradiated.The anti-tumor immune response induced by HpD-PDT was investigated.The expression of DAMPs and costimulatory molecules induced by HpD-PDT were tested by immuno fluorescence and flow cytometry in vivo.Different light doses of PDT were designed to treat 4T1 cells.The killing effect was assessed by CCK-8 kit and apoptosis kit.The expression of DAMPs on 4T1 cells after HpDPDT were evaluated by flow cytometry,western blot and ATP kit.This study showed that CD4^(+)T,CD8^(+)T and the production of IFN-γwere increased significantly on day 10 in righttumor after PDT treatment compared with control group.HpD-PDT enhanced the expression of calreticulin(CRT)on tumor tissue.Importantly,co-stimulatory molecular OX-40 and 4-1BB were elevated on CD8^(+)T cells.In vitro,immunogenic death of 4T1 cells was induced after PDT.Besides,the expression of DAMPs increased with the increasing of energy density.This study indicates that anti-tumor immune effect was induced by HpD-PDT.The knowledge of the involvement of CRT,ATP and co-stimulatory molecules uncovers important mechanistic insight into the anti-tumor immunogenicity.It was the first time that co-stimulatory molecules were investigated and found to elevate after PDT. | Shan Long Yibing Zhao Yuanyuan Xu Hui Li Hongyou Zhao Defu Chen Jing Zeng Haixia Qiu Xiaosong Li Ying Gu | 2022 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,4: | 1 |

| 18 | Generation and regulation of two-dimensional autofocusing Airy beams based on holographic metasurfaces显示文摘This paper proposes a new method to generate a two-dimensional(2D)Airy beam and Airy autofocusing beam by using the scalar holographic metasurface with amplitude-phase modulation in the microwave band.The proposed holographic metasurface comprises subwavelength patch unit cells with a period of fewer than 1/8 wavelengths,which means that it has the finer sampling for electromagnetic waves and can simultaneously achieve precise modulations for the amplitude and phase of electromagnetic waves.Firstly,the 2D-Airy beam with quasi-non-diffraction and selfbending characteristics is generated,from which the holographic metasurface is designed to realize four different 2D-Airy beams with the same focus,achieving the 2D-Airy autofocusing beam in the microwave frequency.The holographic metasurface for Airy beam generation has high efficiency and an ultra-lower profile.Meanwhile,for applying the Airy beam in wireless power transfer(WPT),the efficiency of the generated Airy beam and Airy autofocusing beam is calculated for the first time in the microwave field.The simulation results show that the efficiency of the 2D-Airy beam can reach 66%at 150 mm away from the metasurface,while the efficiency of the 2D-Airy autofocusing beam at the focus,which is 280 mm from the metasurface,can reach 35%.The theoretical,simulated,and measured results show that the proposed method and holographic metasurfaces can flexibly achieve the special characteristics of self-autofocusing and self-bending Airy beams in the microwave domain,providing an effective path for wireless power transfer(WPT)scenario with radial obstructions. | Song Zhang Hao Xue Yicen Li Jiaqi Han Haixia Liu Long Li Tie Jun Cui | 2023 | Journal of Information and Intelligence2023,1,3: | 0 |
