2Generation of ready to use (RTU) products over China based on Landsat series data显示文摘Earth observation community has entered into the era of big data.Family of Landsat sensors have collected massive medium resolution satellite images,which are valuable for long-term land surface monitoring.In order to significantly reduce the magnitude of data processing for remote sensing data users,Landsat-based Ready to Use(RTU)products have been produced.Main RTU products,including orthorectified products,land surface reflectance,land surface temperature,large-area mosaic image,and standard image map products,are described.The resulting Landsat RTU products are hosted on the RSGS earth observation data sharing web site for free download(http://gffzz959b1a8e74bf485dhcupwk090v5qx60nf.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/rtu/).These new products will provide consistent,standardized,multi-decadal image data for robust land cover change detection and monitoring across the Earth sciences.In the coming years,CASEarth DataBank system will be constructed,which is an intelligent data service platform for providing not only the RTU products from multi-source satellite data,but also big earth data analysis methods.Guojin He Zhaoming Zhang Weili Jiao Tengfei Long Yan Peng Guizhou Wang Ranyu Yin Wei Wang Xiaomei Zhang Huichan Liu Bo Cheng Bo Xiang 2018Big Earth Data2018,2,1:8
3Determination of the available energy,standardized ileal digestibility of amino acids of fermented corn germ meal replacing soybean meal in growing pig diets显示文摘Three experiments were conducted to compare the digestible(DE),metabolizable energy(ME),and standardized ileal digestibility(SID)of amino acids(AA)in fermented corn germ meal(FCGM)and soybean meal(SBM),and evaluate the effects of FCGM replacing SBM in growing pig diets.In Exp.1,18 barrows with initial body weight(BW)of 60.2±3.40 kg were randomly allotted to 3 treatments with 6 replicates per treatment.The control diet used corn as the only energy ingredient,and 2 test diets were made by replacing 25.8%of corn with FCGM or SBM.The DE and ME of FCGM were less(P<0.01)than those of SBM.In Exp.2,18 barrows(59.3±2.52 kg BW)with ileal T-cannulas were randomly allotted to 3 treatments with 6 replicates per treatment.The SID of arginine,tryptophan and proline were greater(P<0.05)and the tyrosine was less(P=0.01)in SBM compared with FCGM.In Exp.3,144 growing pigs(56.1±5.22 kg BW)were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 6 pens per treatment(3 barrows and 3 gilts per pen).Four diets(FCGM0,FCGM10,FCGM20 and FCGM30)were formulated using FCGM to replace 0%,10%,20%and 30%of SBM,respectively.The ME and SID values of AA of SBM and FCGM were determined by Exp.1 and 2.Results showed that increasing FCGM inclusion quadratically(P<0.05)increased the average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake,and the levels of serum immunoglobulin G(IgG)and urea nitrogen,and linearly(P<0.05)increased the serum IgM,the propanoic acid,butyric acid,total volatile fatty acid(VFA)and the Shannon index of microbiota in feces.Besides,the relative abundance of genus Streptococcus in FCGM0,Lactobacillus in FCGM10 and Lachnospiraceae in FCGM30 were increased(P<0.05)compared with other treatments.In conclusion,we recommend replacing 11.80%of SBM with FCGM to obtain the optimal ADG of growing pigs.Moreover,as the ratio of FCGM replacing SBM increased in diet,the immunity,intestinal microbiota and total VFA composition of growing pigs were improved.Tengfei He Yuhui Zheng Xiangshu Piao Shenfei Long 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,2:6
4Functionalized graphene oxide based on p-phenylenediamine as spacers and nitrogen dopants for high performance supercapacitors显示文摘p-Phenylenediamine(PPD)functionalized graphene oxide(GO)materials(PPDG)were prepared through a one-step solvothermal process and their application as supercapacitors(SCs)were studied.The PPD is not only as the spacers to prevent aggregating and restacking of the graphene sheets in the preparing process but also as nitrogen sources to obtain the nitrogen-doped graphene.The structures of PPDG were characterized by Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction spectroscopy(XRD),Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and the results show that the nitrogen-doped graphene was achieved with nitrogen content as high as 10.85 at.%.The field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM)and high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEM)have confirmed that the morphologies of PPDG were loose layered with less aggregation,indicating that PPD molecules,as spacers,effectively prevent the graphene sheets from restacking during the solvothermal reaction.The special loose textures make PPDG materials exhibit excellent electrochemical performance for symmetric SCs with superior specific capacitance(313 F/g at 0.1 A/g),rate capability and cycling stability.The present synthesis method is convenient and may have potential applications as ultrahigh performance SCs.Yanhong Lu Yi Huang Fan Zhang Long Zhang Xi Yang Tengfei Zhang Kai Leng Mingjie Zhang Yongsheng Chen 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,16:5

7Lowing the energy loss of organic solar cells by molecular packing engineering via multiple molecular conjugation extension显示文摘The central unit(benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole) in Y6 series of molecules plays a determining role in their unique intermolecular packing for a three-dimensionally(3D) network, largely endowing their organic solar cells(OSCs) with so far the best power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) and also largely suppressed energy losses(Eloss). Despite its vital role in molecular packing, very few explorations for central unit have been conducted due to possibly the constructing challenge of central heterocyclic units.Herein, a highly efficient acceptor-donor-acceptor(A-D-A) type electron acceptor, CH17, has been designed and constructed,featured with a prominent π extension in both directions of the central and end units with respect to Y6 series. Such a multiple and much enhanced conjugation extension in CH17 enables a much more effective and compact 3D molecular packing compared with that of Y6 supported by X-ray single crystal and other analysis, mainly caused by a newly observed distinctive dual “end unit to central unit” packing mode. This much favorable molecular packing, also kept in its blends with donor materials, leads a larger electron and hole transfer integrals and hence much improved charge transport, and reduced energetic disorders in CH17blends. More importantly, the observed upshifted charge transfer(CT) state of CH17 blends compared with that of Y6, due to its increased molecular conjugation extension in both directions, further enhances the hybridization between its CT and local exciton(LE) states, resulting in higher luminescence efficiency, much suppressed non-radiative recombination loss and smaller Elosswith respect to that of Y6. Consequently, an excellent PCE of 17.84% is achieved with PM6 as the donor in a binary device compared with a PCE of 16.27% for the controlled Y6 device. Furthermore, a further improved PCE of 18.13% is achieved by CH17-based ternary single-junction OSCs along with a markedly reduced Elossof 0.49 e V and larger open-circuit voltage(Voc) of0.89 V, compared with that(16.27% of PCE, 0.85 V of Voc, and 0.53 e V of Eloss) of the control device using Y6. 8What are the practical limits for the specific surface area and capacitance of bulk sp^2 carbon materials?显示文摘The possible practical limits for the specific surface area and capacitance performance of bulk sp^2 carbon materials were investigated experimentally and theoretically using a variety of carbon materials. We find the limit for the specific surface area to be 3500–3700 m^2 g^(-1), and based on this, the corresponding best capacitance was predicted for various electrolyte systems. A model using an effective ionic diameter for the electrolyte ions was proposed and used to calculate the theoretical capacitance. A linear dependence of experimental capacitance versus effective specific surface area of various sp^2 carbon materials was obtained for all studied ionic liquid, organic and aqueous electrolyte systems. 10Evolution History of Mesas in the Southern Utopia Planitia and Implications for the Ancient Oceans on Mars显示文摘As one of the prominent landforms in the Zhurong landing region,mesas are geological features with flat tops and steep marginal cliffs.The mesas are widely distributed along the dichotomy boundary.There are various interpreted origins proposed for the mesas,such as the erosion of sedimentary layers,tuyas eruptions,or surface collapse due to the catastrophic release of groundwater.We investigate the detailed morphological characteristics of the mesas on the Late Hesperian Lowland unit within the Utopia Planitia.We observe morphological evidence for both the ice-bearing interior mesas and the sedimentary origin,including(1)small pits on the crater wall and mesa cliff formed by the release of volatiles like ice;(2)lobate flows at the base of mesas formed by the melting of subsurface ice;(3)layered mesas indicating sedimentary origin;(4)grooves on the top surface of mesas formed by the volumetric compaction of sedimentary deposits.The results indicate that the mesas in the study area are formed by the erosion of sedimentary layers and representative of the Noachian oceanic sediments.We propose an evolutionary model for the mesas.This study will provide some insights into future research of ancient ocean hypothesis of Mars and interesting targets for the exploration of the Zhurong rover.Tengfei Zhang Le Wang Arzigul Saidamat Long Xiao Jun Huang 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,3:0
11Growth of Tellurium Nanobelts on h-BN for p-type Transistors with Ultrahigh Hole Mobility显示文摘The lack of stable p-type van der Waals(vdW)semiconductors with high hole mobility severely impedes the step of low-dimensional materials entering the industrial circle.Although p-type black phosphorus(bP)and tellurium(Te)have shown promising hole mobilities,the instability under ambient conditions of bP and relatively low hole mobility of Te remain as daunting issues.Here we report the growth of high-quality Te nanobelts on atomically flat hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)for high-performance p-type field-effect transistors(FETs).Importantly,the Te-based FET exhibits an ultrahigh hole mobility up to 1370 cm^(2) V^(−1) s^(−1) at room temperature,that may lay the foundation for the future high-performance p-type 2D FET and metal-oxide-semiconductor(p-MOS)inverter.The vdW h-BN dielectric substrate not only provides an ultra-flat surface without dangling bonds for growth of high-quality Te nanobelts,but also reduces the scattering centers at the interface between the channel material and the dielectric layer,thus resulting in the ultrahigh hole mobility.Peng Yang Jiajia Zha Guoyun Gao Long Zheng Haoxin Huang Yunpeng Xia Songcen Xu Tengfei Xiong Zhuomin Zhang Zhengbao Yang Ye Chen Dong-Keun Ki Juin J.Liou Wugang Liao Chaoliang Tan 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7:0
12An improved wall-mounted displacement ventilation system in a large-span machining workshop显示文摘A machining workshop requires ventilation that removes oil mist particles efficiently and conditions air to a comfortable temperature.Displacement ventilation has been reported to be highly efficient in removing airborne pollutants in a workshop.However,the traditional wall-mounted displacement ventilation system may be inadequate for delivering conditioned,clean air to the internal zone of a large-span workshop.This investigation proposed an improved wall-mounted displacement ventilation system in which machining equipment is elevated,relay fans are operated in corridors in the cooling season,and ceiling air exhausts are lowered.The proposed ventilation system was compared with the traditional wall-mounted displacement ventilation system and a displacement ventilation system with multiple local diffusers in the corridors,separately.A validated computational fluid dynamics(CFD)software program was used to investigate the three ventilation systems in both the cooling and heating seasons.The airflow,oil mist particle concentration,and air temperature under the three ventilation systems were evaluated.The results revealed that the traditional wall-mounted displacement ventilation system is inappropriate for use in a large-span workshop,particularly in the cooling season.The proposed improved wall-mounted displacement ventilation provided the lowest oil mist particle concentration in the breathing zone and an appropriate air temperature in the occupied zone in both the cooling and heating seasons.Notably in the cooling season,the proposed system reduced the oil mist particle concentration by 48.5%in the breathing zone as compared with the traditional system.Such an improved ventilation system is highly recommended for use in large-span workshops.Fei Liu Tengfei(Tim)Zhang Liqiang Yang Zhengwei Long 2022Building Simulation2022,15,11:0
13Repurposing drugs for solid tumor treatment:focus on immune checkpoint inhibitors显示文摘Cancer remains a significant global health challenge with limited treatment options beyond systemic therapies,such as chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and molecular targeted therapy.Immunotherapy has emerged as a promising therapeutic modality but the efficacy has plateaued,which therefore provides limited benefits to patients with cancer.Identification of more effective approaches to improve patient outcomes and extend survival are urgently needed.Drug repurposing has emerged as an attractive strategy for drug development and has recently garnered considerable interest.This review comprehensively analyses the efficacy of various repurposed drugs,such as transforming growth factor-beta(TGF-β)inhibitors,metformin,receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand(RANKL)inhibitors,granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF),thymosinα1(Tα1),aspirin,and bisphosphonate,in tumorigenesis with a specific focus on their impact on tumor immunology and immunotherapy.Additionally,we present a concise overview of the current preclinical and clinical studies investigating the potential therapeutic synergies achieved by combining these agents with immune checkpoint inhibitors.Qingxu Liu Long Li Wan Qin Tengfei Chao 2023Cancer Biology & Medicine2023,20,11:0
14Forest status assessment in China with SDG indicators based on high-resolution satellite data显示文摘To assess the status and change trend of forest in China,an indicator framework was developed using SDG sub-indicators.In this paper,we propose an improved methodology and a set of workflows for calculating SDG indicators.The main modification include the use of moderate and high spatial resolution satellite data,as well as state-of-the-art machine learning techniques for forest cover classification and estimation of forest above-ground biomass(AGB).This research employs GF-1 and GF-2 data with enhanced texture information to map forest cover,while time series Landsat data is used to estimate forest AGB across the whole territory of China.The study calculate two SDG sub-indicators:SDG_(15.1.1) for forest area and SDG_(15.2.1) for sustainable forest management.The evaluation results showed that the total forest area in China was approximately 219 million hectares at the end of 2021,accounting for about 23.51%of the land area.The average annual forest AGB from 2015 to 2021 was estimated to be 105.01Mg/ha,and the overall trend of forest AGB change in China was positive,albeit with some spatial differences.Xiaomei Zhang Guojin He Shijie Yan Tengfei Long Xueli Peng Zhaoming Zhang Guizhou Wang 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
