3RAPID AND NONDESTRUCTIVE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR WELDING RESDlUAL STRESS BY ULTRASONIC METHOD显示文摘Traditional methods of residual stress measurement are generally destructive or semi-destructive,as well as expensive,time-consuming and complex to implement.With the new development of welded structure,traditional methods can not satisfy the need of full life task management.So the acoustical theory is introduced,since the ultrasonic technique provides a useful nondestructive tool in the evaluation of stresses.In this study an ultrasonic stress measurement experimental installation is established,which consists of a special transducer,a signal emission unit and a signal recipient processing unit.Longitudinal critically refracted wave is selected as the measurement wave mode.The supporting software is programmed by Labview software.The longitudinal residual stress and transverse residual stress of twin wire welded plate are measured by this installment,in which the measuring process is real-time,quick and nondestructive.The experiment results indicate that the system can satisfy the need of life evaluation for welded structure. 4Effect of Silicon on Growth, Physiology, and Cadmium Translocation of Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) in Cadmium-Contaminated Soil显示文摘Silicon(Si) offers beneficial effect on plants under cadmium(Cd) stress such as promoting plant growth and increasing resistance to heavy metal toxicity. In this study, a pot experiment was performed to study the role of Si in alleviating Cd toxicity in tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.) plants on a yellow soil taken from Guiyang, China. Nine treatments consisting of three concentrations of Cd(0, 1, and 5 mg kg^(-1)) together with three Si levels(0, 1, and 4 g kg^(-1)) were established. Plant growth parameters, Cd concentration,and the malondialdehyde(MDA), chlorophyll, and carotenoid contents were determined 100 d after transplanting of tobacco seedlings.Application of exogenous Si enhanced the growth of tobacco plants under Cd stress. When 5 mg kg^(-1) Cd was added, Si addition at 1 and 4 g kg^(-1) increased root, stem, and leaf biomass by 26.1%–43.3%, 33.7%–43.8%, and 50.8%–69.9%, respectively, compared to Si addition at 0 g kg^(-1). With Si application, the transfer factor of Cd in tobacco from root to shoot under both 1 and 5 mg kg^(-1) Cd treatments decreased by 21%. The MDA contents in the Si-treated tobacco plants declined by 5.5%–17.1% compared to those in the non-Si-treated plants, indicating a higher Cd tolerance. Silicon application also increased the chlorophyll and carotenoid contents by 33.9%–41% and 25.8%–47.3% compared to the Cd only treatments. 6Fabrication of metal-organic framework-based nanofibrous separator via one-pot electrospinning strategy显示文摘Metal-organic framework(MOF)/polymer composites have attracted extensive attention in the recent years.However,it still remains challenging to efficiently and effectively fabricate these composite materials.In this study,we propose a facile one-pot electrospinning strategy for preparation of HKUST-1/polyacrylonitrile(PAN)nanofibrous membranes from a homogeneous stock solution containing HKUST-1 precursors and PAN.MOF crystallization and polymer solidification occur simultaneously during the electrospinning process,thus avoiding the issues of aggregation and troublesome multistep fabrication of the conventional approach.The obtained HKUST-1/PAN electrospun membranes show uniform MOF distribution throughout the nanofibers and yield good mechanical properties.The membranes are used as separators in Li-metal full batteries under harsh testing conditions,using an ultrathin Li-metal anode,a high mass loading cathode,and the HKUST-1/PAN nanofibrous separator.The results demonstrate significantly improved cycling performance(capacity retention of 83.1%after 200 cycles)under a low negative to positive capacity ratio(N/P ratio of 1.86).The improvement can be attributed to an enhanced wettability of the separator towards electrolyte stemmed from the nanofibrous structure,and a uniform lithium ion flux stabilized by the open metal sites of uniformly distributed HKUST-1 particles in the membrane during cycling.Congcong Chen Weidong Zhang He Zhu Bo-Geng Li Yingying Lu Shiping Zhu 2021Nano Research2021,14,5:4

8A Preliminary Investigation on Phenotypic Characteristics of Phytophthora infestans from Guizhou Province显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the phenotypic characteristics of Phytophthora infestans from Guizhou Province.[Method] The metalaxyl resistance,mating type and isozyme genotype of 292 P. infestans strains isolated from Guizhou Province were analyzed.[Result] Metalaxyl-resistant P. infestans strains were found in different areas of Guizhou Province. Resistant,moderately resistant and susceptible strains accounted for 35. 62%,33. 90% and 30. 48%,respectively. Both mating types A1 and A2 were found,which accounted for 65. 38% and 34. 62%,respectively. 13Chinese Fuzzy Ontology Mapping Based on Support Vector Machine显示文摘Taking into account that fuzzy ontology mapping has wide application and cannot be dealt with in many fields at present,a Chinese fuzzy ontology model and a method for Chinese fuzzy ontology mapping are proposed.The mapping discovery between two ontologies is achieved by computing the similarity between the concepts of two ontologies.Every concept consists of four features of concept name,property,instance and structure.First,the algorithms of calculating four individual similarities corresponding to the four features are given.Secondly,the similarity vectors consisting of four weighted individual similarities are built,and the weights are the linear function of harmony and reliability.The similarity vector is used to represent the similarity relation between two concepts which belong to different fuzzy ontolgoies.Lastly,Support Vector Machine(SVM) is used to get the mapping concept pairs by the similarity vectors.Experiment results are satisfactory.Liu Jie Ma Yun Tang Shiping Lu Peng 2012China Communications2012,9,3:2
14Dietary calcium requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age显示文摘Background:The current calcium(Ca)recommendation for broilers is primarily based on studies conducted more than 30 years ago with birds of markedly different productive potentials from those which exist today.And the response indicators in these studies are mainly growth performance and bone ash percentage.Therefore,the present study was carried out to investigate the effect of dietary Ca level on growth performance,serum parameters,bone characteristics and Ca metabolism-related gene expressions,so as to estimate dietary Ca requirements of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Methods:A total of 4201-day-old Arbor Acres male broilers were randomly assigned to 1 of 7 treatments with 6 replicates(10 birds per cage)and fed the corn-soybean meal diets containing 0.60%,0.70%,0.80%,0.90%,1.00%,1.10%or 1.20%Ca for 21 days.Each diet contained the constant non-phytate phosphorus content of about 0.39%.Results:The average daily gain decreased linearly(P<0.001)as dietary Ca level increased.The serum and tibia alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activities,tibia bone mineral density(BMD),middle toe BMD,tibia ash percentage,tibia breaking strength,and tibia ALP protein expression level were affected(P<0.05)by dietary Ca level,and showed significant quadratic responses(P<0.02)to dietary Ca levels.The estimates of dietary Ca requirements were 0.80 to 1.00%based on the best fitted broken-line or quadratic models(P<0.03)of the above serum and bone parameters,respectively.Conclusions:The results from the present study indicate that the Ca requirements would be about 0.60%to obtain the best growth rate,and 1.00%to meet all of the Ca metabolisms and bone development of broilers fed a conventional corn-soybean meal diet from 1 to 21 days of age.Shiping Bai Yunfeng Yang Xuelian Ma Xiudong Liao Runlian Wang Liyang Zhang Sufen Li Xugang Luo Lin Lu 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,4:2
15Evapotranspiration and soil water relationships in a range of disturbed and undisturbed ecosystems in the semi-arid Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Aims Evapotranspiration(ET)is a key component of water balance and is closely linked to ecosystem productivity.In arid regions,large proportion of precipitation(PPT)is returned to the atmosphere through ET,with only a small amount available to plants.Our objective was to examine the variability in ET–soil water relationship based on a set of ecosystems that are representative for semi-arid Inner Mongolia and its main land use practices.Methods This study used Eddy covariance(EC)data of water vapor(i.e.ET,mm),PPT(mm),soil volumetric water content(VWC,%),root biomass density and soil properties from three paired sites in semi-arid Inner Mongolia:cropland(Cropland-D)versus undisturbed grassland(Steppe-D),grazed grassland(Grazed Steppe-X)versus fenced grassland(Fenced Steppe-X)and poplar plantation(Poplar-K)versus undisturbed shrubland(Shrubland-K).The paired sites experienced similar climate conditions and were equipped with the same monitoring systems.Important Findings The ET/PPT ratio was significantly lower at Cropland-D and Grazed Steppe-X in comparison to the undisturbed grasslands,Steppe-D and Fenced Steppe-X.These differences are in part explained by the lower VWC in the upper soil layers associated with compaction of surface soil in heavily grazed and fallow fields.In contrast,the ET/PPT ratio was much higher at the poplar plantation compared to the undisturbed shrubland because poplar roots tap groundwater.The VWC of different soil layers responded differently to rainfall events across the six study sites.Except for Poplar-K,ETwas significantly constrained by VWC at the other five sites,although the correlation coefficients varied among soil layers.The relative contribution of soil water to ET correlated with the density of root biomass in the soil(R2=0.67,P<0.01).The soil water storage in the upper 50 cm of soil contributed 59,43,64 and 23%of total water loss as ET at Steppe-D,Cropland-D,Shrubland-K and Poplar-K,respectively.Our across-site analysis indicates that the site level of soil water for ET differs between land use and land cover type due to altered root distribution and/or soil physical properties.As a result,we recommend that ecosystem models designed to predict the response of a wide variety of vegetation to climatic variation in arid regions include more detail in defining soil layers and interactions between evaporation,infiltration and root distribution patterns.Nan Lu Shiping Chen Burkhard Wilske Ge Sun Jiquan Chen 2011Journal of Plant Ecology2011,4,1:2
