| 2 | Comparative Study of Hydrogen and Carbon Isotopic Composition of Gases Generated from the Pyrolysis of a Peat under Saltwater and Freshwater Conditions显示文摘To understand the influence of the diagenetic water medium on the isotopic compositions of thermogenic coalbed gas, both hydrous and anhydrous closed-system pyrolyses were performed at temperatures of 250°C to 650°C on an herbaceous marsh peat. Compared to the results of anhydrous pyrolysis, the hydrocarbon gases generated from hydrous pyrolyses have very different hydrogen isotopic compositions. However, the carbon isotopic compositions of the hydrocarbon gases became only slightly heavier in hydrous pyrolysis, compared to that from anhydrous pyrolysis. With the progress of thermal evolution from peat to a more advanced thermal maturity of vitrinite reflectance values(Ro) of 5.5% during the pyrolysis, the difference in the average δD value increased from 52‰ to 64‰ between the hydrous pyrolysis with saltwater and anhydrous pyrolysis and increased from 18‰ to 29‰ between the hydrous pyrolysis with freshwater and anhydrous pyrolysis, respectively. The difference in the average δ^(13)C value was only 1‰–2‰ between the hydrous and anhydrous pyrolysis. The relationships between the δD values of the generated hydrocarbon gases and Ro values as well as among δD values of the hydrocarbon gas species are established. The close relationships among these parameters suggest that the water medium had a significant effect on the hydrogen isotopic composition and a minimal effect on the carbon isotopic composition of the hydrocarbon gases. | 3 | Composition and Evolution of Hydrogen Isotopes of n-Akanes Generated from Anhydrous Pyrolysis of Sediments from Lake Gahai,Gannan,China显示文摘To understand the thermal evolution of lacustrine sedimentary n-alkane hydrogen isotopic composition(δD),especially bacterially derived n-alkanes,anhydrous thermal simulation experiments were performed with sediments from Lake Gahai(Gannan,China).We analyzed the original and pyrolysis-generated n-alkanes and theirδD values.The results showed that thermal maturity and n-alkane origins significantly affected the distribution of pyrolysis-generated n-alkanes.In immature to post-mature sediments,the bacterial-derived medium-chain n-alkanes generally had depletedδD values.The maximum difference in averageδD values between the bacterial-and herbaceous plant-derived medium-chain n-alkanes was 32‰,and the maximum difference in δD values among individual n-alkanes was 59‰.We found that the averageδD value of pyrolysis-generated n-alkanes from different latitude was significantly different in immature to highly mature sediments,but similar in post-mature ssediments.The hydrogen isotopes of sedimentary n-alkanes can be used as indicators for paleoclimate/paleo-environment conditions only when sediments are immature to highly mature.During thermal evolution,the δD value of generated individual n-alkanes and the averageδD value increased with thermal maturity,indicating that hydrogen isotopes of sedimentary n-alkanes can be used as an index of organic matter maturity.We established mathematical models of average δD values of generated n-alkanes from immature to post-mature sediments using n C_(21)^(-)/nC_(21)^(+)and average chain lengths.These results improve our understanding of the distribution andδD value of sedimentary n-alkanes derived from herbaceous plants in mid-latitude plateau cold regions. | DUAN Yi WU Yingzhong XING Lantian LI Zhongping ZHANG Ting | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Effects of Melatonin on Growth,Physiology and Gene Expression in Rice Seedlings Under Cadmium Stress显示文摘Melatonin(MLT)is a hormonal substance found in many organisms and can improve plant stress resistance.In this study,the japonica rice variety Y32 and indica rice variety NJ6 were cultivated in hydroponics under different concentrations of CdCl2 at the two-leaf stage.The growth,physiological and biochemical responses of the seedlings and the expression of cadmium(Cd)-related genes under exogenous melatonin(MLT)treatment were assessed.The results indicated that Cd stress destroyed the dynamic balance between reactive oxygen species(ROS)production and removal,resulting in ROS accumulation,membrane lipid peroxidation,and impaired growth and development.Following the application of exogenous MLT to rice seedlings,increases in plant biomass including both underground and above-ground areas were observed.MLT also scavenged the inhibition of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)in a concentration dependent manner in response to Cd stress.Catalase(CAT)activity and malondialdehyde(MDA)expression also decreased following MLT treatment.Amongst the six Cd-related genes assessed,five genes were downregulated and one was up-regulated in response to MLT treatment.Taken together,these data demonstrate that MLT improves the resilience of rice seedlings at the biochemical,physiological,and molecular levels,and diminishes the damage caused by Cd stress. | Xiachen Lv Yunxia Fang Lantian Zhang Weiyi Zhang Ling Xu Jingjin Han Bailing Jin Xian Zhang Xiaoqin Zhang Dawei Xue | 2019 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2019,88,2: | 1 |
| 8 | AN APPLIED RESEARCH ON APPROACH OF DYADIC WAVELET TRANSFORM FOR REMOTE SENSING IMAGE EDGE DETECTION显示文摘In the edge detection of Remote Sensing (RS) image, the useful detail losing and the spurious edge often appear. To solve the problem, the authors uses the dyadic wavelet to detect the edge of surface features by combining the edge detecting with the multi-resolution analyzing of the wavelet transform. Via the dyadic wavelet decomposing, the RS image of a certain appropriate scale is obtained, and the edge data of the plane and the upright directions are respectively figured out, then the gradient vector module of the surface features is worked out. By tracing them, the authors get the edge data of the object, therefore build the RS image which obtains the checked edge. This method can depress the effect of noise and examine exactly the edge data of the object by rule and line. | 9 | Magnetic Coupler Robust Optimization Design for Electric Vehicle Wireless Charger Based on Improved Simulated Annealing Algorithm显示文摘Fleets of autonomous vehicles including shuttle buses,freight trucks,and road sweepers will be deployed in the Olympic Vil-lage during Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.This requires intelligent charging infrastructure based on wireless power transfer technology to be equipped.To increase the misalignment tolerance of a high-power wireless charger,the robustness of the magnetic coupler should be optimized.This paper presents a new type of unipolar coupler,which is composed of three con-nected coils in series.The dimensional configuration of the coils is analyzed by the finite element method.The characteristic parameters of the coil are identified with their influence on the self-inductance and coupling coefficient.An expert model is built,whose feasibility can be verified in the aimed design domain.Combined with the expert model,an improved simulated annealing algorithm with a backtracking mechanism is proposed.The primary coil can reach the expected characteristics from any starting parameter combination through the proposed optimization algorithm.Under the same conditions in terms of external circuit parameters,ferrite usage,and aluminum shielding,the offset sensitivity of the magnetic coupler can be reduced from 58.79%to 18.89%.A prototype is established,validating the feasibility of the proposed coil structure with the optimized parameter algorithm. | Zhenpo Wang Lantian Li Junjun Deng Baokun Zhang Shuo Wang | 2022 | Automotive Innovation2022,5,1: | 1 |

| 12 | KinasePhos 3.0:Redesign and Expansion of the Prediction on Kinase-specific Phosphorylation Sites显示文摘The purpose of this work is to enhance KinasePhos,a machine learning-based kinasespecific phosphorylation site prediction tool.Experimentally verified kinase-specific phosphorylation data were collected from PhosphoSitePlus,UniProtKB,the GPS 5.0,and Phospho.ELM.In total,41,421 experimentally verified kinase-specific phosphorylation sites were identified.A total of 1380 unique kinases were identified,including 753 with existing classification information from KinBase and the remaining 627 annotated by building a phylogenetic tree.Based on this kinase classification,a total of 771 predictive models were built at the individual,family,and group levels,using at least 15 experimentally verified substrate sites in positive training datasets.The improved models demonstrated their effectiveness compared with other prediction tools.For example,the prediction of sites phosphorylated by the protein kinase B,casein kinase 2,and protein kinase A families had accuracies of 94.5%,92.5%,and 90.0%,respectively.The average prediction accuracy for all 771 models was 87.2%.For enhancing interpretability,the SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)method was employed to assess feature importance.The web interface of KinasePhos 3.0 has been redesigned to provide comprehensive annotations of kinase-specific phosphorylation sites on multiple proteins.Additionally,considering the large scale of phosphoproteomic data,a downloadable prediction tool is available at http://gffzz409fd5467cb945e7sb5kn6uuqkqcw6v9q.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/KinasePhos/download.html or http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asb5kn6uuqkqcw6v9q.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/tom-209/KinasePhos-3.0-executable-file. | Renfei Ma Shangfu Li Wenshuo Li Lantian Yao Hsien-Da Huang Tzong-Yi Lee | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,1: | 0 |

Scalable quantum information applications need photon generation and detection to be integrated on the same chip, and we have seen that various devices on the silicon photonic chip have been developed for this goal. This paper reviews the relevant research results and state-of-the-art technologies on the silicon photonic chip for scalable quantum applications. Despite the shortcomings, the properties of some components have already met the requirements for further expansion. | 15 | A Comparison Study on the δD Value of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Hydrous Pyrolysate of Herbaceous Peat with Different Water Medium显示文摘To investigate the influence of diagenetic water media on the hydrogen isotopes of individual sedimentary aromatic compounds,a series of hydrous pyrolyses were conducted on herbaceous peat.Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in hydrous pyrolysed samples and their hydrogen isotopic composition characteristics were studied.The aqueous medium demonstrated a significant influence on the hydrogen isotopic composition of the individual PAHs generated during pyrolysis.The results showed that the PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a saltwater medium with high δD value from a salt lake had a heavy hydrogen isotopic composition.The PAHs formed after pyrolysis in the presence of a fresh water medium with low δD value from a swamp had a light hydrogen isotopic composition.The difference in the average PAHδD value between the two hydrous experiments varied from -174‰ to -109‰,suggesting that the hydrogen isotopic composition of individual sedimentary PAHs can reflect the source of the diagenetic water medium.In addition,a comparative study found that the hydrogen isotopes of PAHs were superior to those of n-alkanes in the same sample for diagenetic water indications.The results indicated that the exchange of water-derived inorganic hydrogen and organic hydrogen was more intensive in freshwater experiments than in saltwater experiments.With an increase in the simulation temperature,the average δD value of PAHs generated in the hydrous simulation experiments showed an increasing trend,reflecting that the δD value of sedimentary PAHs formed with the participation of diagenetic water media was still closely related to the thermal maturity of organic matter.Comparative studies showed that theδD values of different types of organic compounds produced by hydrous pyrolysis of peat were in the order,PAHs>n-alkanes>methane. | DUAN Yi WU Yingzhong XING Lantian WU Yingqin ZHAO Yang LI Zhongping MA Lanhua DUAN Mingchen | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,6: | 0 |

| 18 | Mutualistic fungus Piriformospora indica modulates cadmium phytoremediation properties of host plant via concerted action of enzymatic and non-enzymatic biochemicals显示文摘Soils and ecosystems contaminated with cadmium (Cd) threaten human health and adversely affect morphological,physiological,and biochemical parameters of plants.The symbiotic association of endophytic fungi with their host plants is the best strategy to improve various plant characteristics and remediate soils polluted with heavy metal(loid)s (HMs).Being a well-known plant growth-promoting fungus,Piriformospora indica confers resistance against a number of abiotic stresses,including HM stress.This pot experiment explored the potential and ameliorative effects of P.indica on Artemisia annua L.plants treated with different concentrations (0,40,80,and 120 mg kg-1) of Cd.Inoculation with P.indica significantly increased plant performance,especially by enhancing chlorophyll concentration and water potential and by decreasing electrolytic leakage,when compared with un-inoculated plants,despite the high Cd levels.Similarly,P.indica enhanced antioxidant enzyme activities,thereby reducing the drastic effects of Cd in inoculated plants.In addition,P.indica accumulated Cd in the roots of colonized plants,as revealed by atomic absorption spectroscopy,and restricted Cd translocation to aerial parts.Furthermore,P.indica showed in vitro resistance (up to a certain level) to Cd stress;however,fungus growth was inhibited at very high Cd concentrations,proving it an excellent candidate for use as a potential phytoremediator in fields affected by Cd contamination.The transcriptional analysis showed that the signaling genes and artemisinin and flavonoid biosynthetic pathway genes were significantly upregulated in P.indica-co-cultivated plants when compared with un-inoculated plants,suggesting a fine collaboration between primary and secondary metabolisms to modulate resistance capacity and to enhance the phytoremediation capability of A.annua against Cd toxicity. | Muhammad KHALID Saeed UR-RAHMAN Haoxin TAN Lantian SU Pei ZHOU Nan HUI | 2022 | Pedosphere2022,32,2: | 0 |
| 19 | Phenotype,Physiology,and Gene Expression of Barley Seedlings in Response to Nano Zinc Oxide Stress显示文摘In recent years,zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnO NPs)have been widely used as zinc fertilizers and pesticides.The use of ZnO NPs in this way can provide benefits to humans,but also has potential risks.ZnO NPs inevitably enter the environment during their production and use,which affects the ecological environment and crop growth.In order to investigate the phenotype,physiology,and gene expression of barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)seedlings under ZnO NPs stress,the barely cultivars ZJU3(P21),Golden Promise(GP)and L23 were chosen for study.Different ZnO NPs concentrations were applied to compare the physiological and biochemical indexes of the barley seedlings and the responses of six stress-related genes,when seedlings were cultured to the two-leaf stage through hydroponics.The results showed that the density of brown spots on the leaf surface increased with increasing ZnO NPs concentration.ZnO NPs stress inhibited the root growth of barley seedlings,and P21 was the most sensitive.Furthermore,ZnO NPs stress could stimulate plants to produce a large number of reactive oxygen species(ROS),resulting in an imbalance between the production and removal of ROS and membrane lipid peroxidation in plants.This imbalance inhibited the growth and development of the barley seedlings.With increasing ZnO NPs concentration,the activity of superoxide dismutase was gradually increased,the activity of catalase was progressively decreased,and the contents of malondialdehyde and proline were increased.Compared with the control,among six stress-related genes,the expression levels of five genes were downregulated and one gene was upregulated in the experimental group.This study preliminarily revealed the toxic effect of ZnO NPs on seedlings and the effect on the expression of stress-related resistance genes in different barley varieties. | Mengyuan Dong Rong Sun Qianhui Yang Lantian Zhang Yangying Yong Yunxia Fang Xian Zhang Xiaoqin Zhang Dawei Xue | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,6: | 0 |
| 20 | Accuracy improvement for classifying retinal OCT images by diseases using deep learning-based selective denoising approach显示文摘In ophthalmology,retinal optical coherence tomography(OCT)images with noticeable structural features help identify human eyes as healthy or diseased.The recently hot arti ficial intelligence(AI)realized this recognition process automatically.However,speckle noise in the original retinal OCT image reduces the accuracy of disease classi fication.This study presents a timesaving approach based on deep learning to improve classi fication accuracy by removing the noise from the original dataset.Firstly,four pre-trained convolutional neural networks(CNNs)from the ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge(ILSVRC)were trained to classify the original images into two categories:The noise reduction required(NRR)and the noise-free(NF)images.Among the CNNs,VGG19 BN performed best with 98%accuracy and 99%recall.Then,we used the block-matching and 3D filtering(BM3D)algorithm to denoise the NRR images.Those noise-removed NRR and the NF images form the processed dataset.The quality of images in the dataset is prominently ameliorated after denoising,which is valid to improve the models'performance.The original and processed datasets were tested on the four pre-trained CNNs to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed approach.We have compared the CNNs,and the results show the performance of the CNNs trained with the processed dataset is improved by an average of 2.04%,5.19%,and 5.10%under overall accuracy(OA),Macro F1-score,and Micro F1-score,respectively.Especially for DenseNet161,the OA is improved to 98.14%.Our proposed method demonstrates its effectiveness in improving classi fication accuracy and opens a new solution to reduce denoising time-consuming for large datasets. | Lantian Hu Ruixiang Guo Sifan Li Jing Cao Qian Liu | 2023 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,6: | 0 |
