1Molecular fossils and oil-source rock correlations in Tarim Basin, NW China显示文摘The distribution of 'molecular fossils' (bio-markers) of steroid compounds in extracts from some spe-cific geologic age in the Tarim Basin have been analyzed andare used as the fingerprints for the oil-source rock correla-tion. Having been affected by maturation, migration, phasefractionation and biodegradation, not any molecular fossilsrelated to source and environment can be used as the finger-prints for oil-source rock correlation. Some special bio-markers widely existed in the extracts from Cambrian andOrdovician rocks in the Tarim Basin and showed obviousdifference in each stratum, including dinosteranes (C30),4-methyl-24-ethyl-cholestanes (C30) and their aromatizedsteroids, C24-norcholestanes and C28 steranes originated fromdinoflagellates and diatom. Few oils such as the heavy oildrilled in the Cambrian reservoir from Tadong 2 well (TD2)correlated well with the extracts from the Cambrian. 3Genome sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of Banna virus(genus Seadornavirus,family Reoviridae)isolated from Culicoides显示文摘In an investigation of blood-sucking insects and arboviruses, a virus(YN12243) was isolated from Culicoides samples collected in the Sino-Burmese border region of Yunnan Province, China. The virus caused cytopathic effect(CPE) in C6/36 cells and passaged stably. Polyacrylamide gel analysis showed that the genome of YN12243 was composed of 12 segments of double-stranded RNA(dsRNA), with a distribution pattern of 6-6. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of the coding region(1.12 segments) were17,803 bp and 5,925 amino acids in length, respectively. The phylogenetic analysis of VP1 protein(RdRp) revealed that YN12243 belonged to genus Seadornavirus of family Reoviridae, and further analysis indicated that YN12243 belongs to the Banna virus(BAV) genotype A2. Additionally, YN12243 was located in the same evolutionary cluster as BAV strains isolated from different mosquito species, suggesting that the BAV isolated from Culicoides does not have species barriers. These results indicate that Culicoides can also be a vector for BAV. 4Area-oriented coordinated trajectory planning of dual-arm space robot for capturing a tumbling target显示文摘The growing amount of space debris poses a threat to operational spacecraft and the long-term sustainability of activities in outer space. According to the orbital mechanics, an uncontrolled space object will be tumbling, bringing great challenge to capture and remove it. In this paper, a dual-arm coordinated ‘‘Area-Oriented Capture'(AOC) method is proposed to capture a non-cooperative tumbling target. Firstly, the motion equation of the tumbling target is established, based on which, the dynamic properties are analyzed. Then, the ‘‘Area-Oriented Capture'concept is presented to deal with the problem of large pose(position and attitude) deviation and tumbling motion. An area rather than fixed points/devices is taken as the object to be tracked and captured. As long as the manipulators’ end-effectors move to a specified range of the objective areas(not fixed points on the target, but areas), the target satellite will be hugged by the two arms.At last, the proposed method and the traditional method(i.e. fixed-point oriented capture method)are compared and analyzed through simulation. 5Investigation of College Students' Mental Health Status via Semantic Analysis of Sina Microblog显示文摘The objective of this study is to understand the current mental status of college students in China's Mainland. In this study, 60 thousand college students' microblog content from January 2014 to June 2014 was collected. An emotional energy level, which was developed by a psychologist David R Hawkins, was taken as a basis for ontology database to divide the student's emotion into three parts—positive, negative and neutral status. An ontology-based semantic analysis method was used to analyze the microblog data. The result shows that 46.38% of Sina microblog data reflects positive psychological status, and the ratios of neutral and negative psychological status are 19.77% and 33.85%, respectively. It means that almost one third microblog reflects some negative mentality. 6Targeting β-secretase with RNAi in neural stem cells for Alzheimer's disease therapy显示文摘There are several major pathological changes in Alzheimer's disease,including apoptosis of cholinergic neurons,overactivity or overexpression of β-site amyloid precursor protein cleaving enzyme 1(BACE1) and inflammation.In this study,we synthesized a 19-nt oligonucleotide targeting BACE1,the key enzyme in amyloid beta protein(Aβ) production,and introduced it into the pSilenCircle vector to construct a short hairpin(shRNA) expression plasmid against the BACE1 gene.We transfected this vector into C17.2 neural stem cells and primary neural stem cells,resulting in downregulation of the BACE1 gene,which in turn induced a considerable reduction in reducing Aβ protein production.We anticipate that this technique combining cell transplantation and gene therapy will open up novel therapeutic avenues for Alzheimer's disease,particularly because it can be used to simultaneously target several pathogenetic changes in the disease.Zhonghua Liu Shengliang Li Zibin Liang Yan Zhao Yulin Zhang Yaqi Yang Minjuan Wang Feng Li 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33:4
7Myelin Deficits Caused by Olig2 Deficiency Lead to Cognitive Dysfunction and Increase Vulnerability to Social Withdrawal in Adult Mice显示文摘Oligodendrocyte (OL) and myelin development are crucial for network integration and are associated with higher brain functions. Accumulating evidence has demonstrated structural and functional impairment of OLs and myelin in serious mental illnesses. However, whether these deficits contribute to the brain dysfunction or pathogenesis of such diseases still lacks direct evidence. In this study, we conditionally deleted Olig2 in oligodendroglial lineage cells (Olig2 cKO) and screened the behavioral changes in adult mice. We found that Olig2 ablation impaired myelin development, which further resulted in severe hypomyelination in the anterior cingulate cortex. Strikingly, Olig2 cKO mice exhibited an anxious phenotype, aberrant responses to stress, and cognitive deficits. Moreover, Olig2 cKO mice showed increased vulnerability to social avoidance under the mild stress of social isolation. 9Low-Density Parity-Check Codes for Noncoherent UWB Communication Systems显示文摘In order to guarantee reliable data transmission, powerful channel coding techniques are usually required in noncoherent ultra-wideband(UWB) communication systems. Accordingly, several forward error correction(FEC) codes, such as Reed-Solomon and convolutional codes have been used in noncoherent UWB systems to improve the bit error rate(BER) performance. In this paper, low-density parity-check(LDPC) codes are further studied as more powerful FEC candidates for noncoherent UWB systems. Two LDPC codes and the corresponding decoding procedures are presented for noncoherent UWB systems. Moreover, performance comparison between the LDPC codes and other FEC codes are provided for three major noncoherent UWB communication systems, namely, noncoherent pulse position modulation(NC-PPM), transmitted reference(TR) and transmitted reference pulse cluster(TRPC). 11Real-time monitoring of optimum timing for harvesting fresh tea leaves based on machine vision显示文摘The harvesting time of fresh tea leaves has a significant impact on product yield and quality.The aim of this study was to propose a method for real-time monitoring of the optimum harvesting time for picking fresh tea leaves based on machine vision.Firstly,the shapes of fresh tea leaves were distinguished from RGB images of the tea-tree canopy after graying with the improved B-G algorithm,filtering with a median filter algorithm,binary processing with the Otsu algorithm,and noise reduction and edge smoothing using open and close operations.Then the leaf characteristics,such as leaf area index,average length,and leaf identification index,were calculated.Based on these,the Bayesian discriminant principle and method were used to construct a discriminant model for fresh tea-leaf collection status.When this method was applied to a RGB tea-tree canopy image acquired at 45°shooting angle,the fresh tea-leaf recognition rate was 90.3%,and the accuracy for fresh tea-leaf harvesting status was 98%by cross validation.Hence,this method provides the basic conditions for future tea-plantation operation and management using information technology,automation,and intelligent systems.Liang Zhang Hongduo Zhang Yedong Chen Sihui Dai Xumeng Li Kenji Imou Zhonghua Liu Ming Li 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,1:2

13Integration Interval Determination and Decision Threshold Optimization for Improved TRPC-UWB Communication Systems显示文摘Integration interval and decision threshold issues were investigated for improved transmitted reference pulse cluster(iTRPC-)ultra-wideband(UWB)systems. Our analysis shows that the bit error rate(BER)performance of iTRPC-UWB systems can be significantly improved via integration interval determination(IID)and decision threshold optimization. For this purpose,two modifications can be made at the autocorrelation receiver as follows. Firstly,the IID processing is performed for autocorrelation operation to capture multi-path energy as much as possible. Secondly,adaptive decision threshold(ADT)instead of zero decision threshold(ZDT),is used as estimated optimal decision threshold for symbol detection. 14Dual synergetic catalytic effects boost hydrogen electric oxidation performance of Pd/W_(18)O_(49)显示文摘Developing anode catalysts of substantially enhanced activity for hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)and anti-CO poisoning performance is of great importance for the application of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).Herein,we report Pd cluster in situ decorated urchin-like W_(18)O_(49)(WO_(2.72))electrocatalysts by a photo-reduction method for high performance HOR.The synthesized Pd-WO_(2.72)-L composite of low loading amount of 0.44 wt.%Pd by Xenon light reduction exhibits markedly high HOR catalytic activity and stability in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4),and the specific HOR current density and mass activity of Pd-WO_(2.72)-L are~1.5 and~80 times those of 20 wt.%Pt/C catalyst,respectively.Moreover,excellent anti-CO poisoning ability has also been obtained.The excellent HOR activity and anti-CO poisoning performance of Pd-WO_(2.72)-L have been discussed mainly in terms of the dual synergetic catalytic effects between Pd and WO_(2.72):Pd activation to Pd^(δ+)by the electron transfer from Pd to W promotes the hydrogen adsorption and activation to H*species,which results in largely elevated HOR activity;Pd degradation due to the CO poisoning is effectively prevented by WO_(2.72),which is responsible for the excellent CO-tolerance performance.Lingxin Peng Han Tian Xiangzhi Cui Liang Su Ge Meng Zhonghua Ma Shaowen Cao Jianlin Shi 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:2

16Statistical Verification of Hydraulic Units in a Heterogeneous Reservoir of the Liaohe Oilfield显示文摘The Liaohe Oil Field has passed peak production and correct discrimination of hydraulic units(HU) has vital significance for forecasting remaining oil distribution in a petroleum reservoir, enhancing the recovery ratio and adjusting development plans. A unified multi-parameter cluster analysis and fuzzy quality synthetic evaluations have been used for the identification of reservoir hydraulic units. This paper analyzes three predictions within Block Shen-95: intersection of multiple well-logs, independent mulitple well-logs and mutually exclusive multiple well-logs. HU has been delineated to conveniently compute permeability and serve as the basis of a structural model for enhanced simulation study. HU has been defined by the flow zone indicator concept using a modified Kozeny-Carmen equation. The Bayesian method was used to predict HU at uncored wells by constructing a probability database and then integrating established HU and well-log responses at cored wells. HU has then been inferred from the database using well-log responses. Estimated permeability from predicted HU gave an overall improved permeability match when compared with traditional statistical methods. The method proved most favourable when using mutually exclusive multiple well-logs, most significant by integrating reservoir performance with HU distribution and indicating that reasonable prediction had been obtained at uncored wells using this mutually exclusive approach. The distribution pattern was revealed by interwell HU correlation using modified depositional cycles as a framework, an integration step that qualitatively examines prediction accuracy.
