| 1 | Effect of extrusion speed on microstructure and mechanical properties of the Mg-Ca binary alloy显示文摘This work reported the effect of extrusion speeds on the microstructures and mechanical properties of Mg-Ca binary alloy.The results showed that yield strength of the as-extruded Mg-1.2wt.%Ca alloys decrease from∼360MPa to∼258MPa as the ram speed increases from 0.4mm/s to 2.4 mm/s,and the elongation increases from∼3.9%to∼12.2%.The microstructure changes from bimodal grain feature to the complete dynamical recrystallization(DRX)with increase of the extrusion speed.The ultrafine DRXed grains in size of∼0.85μm,the numerous nano-Mg_(2)Ca particles dispersing along the grain boundaries and interiors,as well as the high density of residual dislocations,should account for the high strength.It is believed that the high degree of dynamic recrystallization and the resulting texture randomization play the critical roles in the ductility enhancement of the high-speed extruded Mg alloys. | Jingren Li Aiyue Zhang Hucheng Pan Yuping Ren Zhuoran Zeng Qiuyan Huang Changlin Yang Lifeng Ma Gaowu Qin | 2021 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,4: | 9 |
| 2 | Expression of Beclin1 in non small cell lung cancer and its clinical significance显示文摘Objective:To investigate the expression of autophagy related gene;Beclin1 in human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)tissues.Methods:Protein expression of Beclin1 was determined by immunofluorescence staining and Western Blot,mRNA expression was analyzed by RT-PCR.Results:Immunofluorescence staining revealed that the level of Beclin1 expression in lung cancer was significantly lower than that in adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues(expression rate 8.3%,P=0.000).The Beclin1 mRNA expression in lung cancer,adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues was 1.372(±0.475)1.721(±0.521)and 1.553(±0.554)when F = 15.0,P < 0.01.Beclin1 protein expression in lung cancer,adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues was 3.453(±0.852)5.423(±1.351)and 6.878(±0.997)F = 11.2,P < 0.01.Conclusion:The protein and mRNA expression of Beclin1 in lung cancer was much lower than those in and around cancer tissues and normal tissues,those differences having statistical significance.However in adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues,the expression showed no difference. | Quan Liu Jianjun Wang Yongcheng Pan Lifeng Meng Xi Zhan | 2008 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,2: | 6 |
| 3 | The Genomes of the Allohexaploid Echinochloa crus-galli and Its Progenitors Provide Insights into Polyploidization-Driven Adaptation显示文摘The hexaploid species Echinochloa crus-galli is one of the most detrimental weeds in crop fields,especially in rice paddies.Its evolutionary history is similar to that of bread wheat,arising through polyploidization after hybridization between a tetraploid and a diploid species.In this study,we generated and analyzed high-quality genome sequences of diploid(E.haploclada),tetraploid(E.oryzicola),and hexaploid(E.crus-galli)Echinochloa species.Gene family analysis showed a significant loss of disease-resistance genes such as those encoding NB-ARC domain-containing proteins during Echinochloa polyploidization,contrary to their significant expansionduring wheat polyploidization,suggesting that natural selection might favor reduced investment in resistance in this weed to maximize its growth and reproduction.In contrast to the asymmetric patterns of genome evolution observed in wheat and other crops,no significant differences in selection pressure were detected between the subgenomes in E.oryzicola and E.crus-galli.In addition,distinctive differences in subgenome transcriptome dynamics during hexaploidization were observed between E.crus-galli and bread wheat.Collectively,our study documents genomic mechanisms underlying the adaptation of a major agricultural weed during polyploidization.The genomic and transcriptomic resources of three Echinochloa species and new insights into the polyploidization-driven adaptive evolution would be useful for future breeding cereal crops. | Chu-Yu Ye Dongya Wu Lingfeng Mao Lei Jia Jie Qiu Sangting Lao Meihong Chen Bowen Jiang Wei Tang Qiong Peng Lang Pan Lifeng Wang Xiaoxiao Feng Longbiao Guo Chulong Zhang Elizabeth A.Kellogg Kenneth M.Olsen Lianyang Bai Longjiang Fan | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,9: | 4 |
| 4 | Combination of NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography offers unique advantages for elucidation of the structural basis of protein complex assembly显示文摘NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography are two premium methods for determining the atomic structures of macro-biomolecular complexes.Each method has unique strengths and weaknesses.While the two techniques are highly complementary,they have generally been used separately to address the structure and functions of biomolecular complexes.In this review,we emphasize that the combination of NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography offers unique power for elucidating the structures of complicated protein assemblies.We demonstrate,using several recent examples from our own laboratory,that the exquisite sensitivity of NMR spectroscopy in detecting the conformational properties of individual atoms in proteins and their complexes,without any prior knowledge of conformation,is highly valuable for obtaining the high quality crystals necessary for structure determination by X-ray crystallography.Thus NMR spectroscopy,in addition to answering many unique structural biology questions that can be addressed specifically by that technique,can be exceedingly powerful in modern structural biology when combined with other techniques including X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy. | FENG Wei PAN LiFeng ZHANG MingJie | 2011 | Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Wheat MADS-box gene TaSEP3-D1 negatively regulates heading date显示文摘The MADS-box gene plays an important role in regulating plant growth and development.In this study,a SEP3-like MADS-box gene TaSEP3-1 was isolated from bread wheat.The expression patterns of the three homoeologs TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1 were similar,and higher expression levels were detected in floral organs and developing kernels.TaSEP3-D1 was located in the nucleus and cytoplasm and possessed transactivation activity in yeast.Homoeolog sequence polymorphism analysis identified four,three,and four haplotypes of TaSEP3-A1,TaSEP3-B1,and TaSEP3-D1,respectively,and the haplotypes of TaSEP3-D1 had larger effects on agronomic traits than those of TaSEP3-A1 and TaSEP3-B1.D1_h4,significantly associated with heading date,plant height,and other yield-related traits,was the favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1.Transgenic wheat genotypes overexpressing TaSEP3-D1 exhibited delayed heading and reduced plant height,indicating a role in regulating heading date and plant development.These results shed light on the role of TaSEP3-D1 in wheat plant development.The favored haplotype of TaSEP3-D1 can be applied in breeding to improve plant architecture and yield in wheat. | Lei Zhang Hao Zhang Linyi Qiao Lingfeng Miao Dong Yan Pan Liu Guangyao Zhao Jizeng Jia Lifeng Gao | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,5: | 2 |

| 7 | Improved strength and ductility of AZ31B Mg alloy sheets processed by accumulated extrusion bonding with artificial cooling显示文摘In this study,accumulated extrusion bonding(AEB)process with application of artificial water cooling was successfully performed to fabricate fined-grains AZ31B Mg alloy sheets at 150℃,200℃ and 250℃.The resultant microstructure and mechanical properties are systematically investigated.It reveals that the processing temperature has an important effect on the microstructural evolution during extrusion.During AEB process at 150℃ and 200℃,{10-12}tensile twinning was activated at early stage of extrusion,and subsequently continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)occurred and dominated the further deformation.However,for the sample extruded at 250℃,hardly any twins can be observed,and new fined dynamic recrystallized grains were found along grain boundaries.Artificial cooling was utilized to reduce the rate of grain growth out of the extrusion die,resulting the grains significantly refined from 11μm to 2.5μm.Local high dislocation density region was also observed in the microstructure of sample processed at 150℃ in artificial cooling condition,and the degree decreased with the processing temperature increase.The results summarized from tensile tests indicated that due to the grain refinement the strength and ductility was significantly enhanced(YS of 186 MPa vs.145 MPa,UTS of 391 MPa vs.336 MPa and FE of 31.5%vs.24.5%compared with the as-received sample).Subsequently,annealing treatment at different temperatures was applied to eliminate the high dislocation density.The sample annealed at 200℃ exhibited the best comprehensive mechanical property with YS of 179 MPa,UTS of 390 MPa and FE of 33.0%.As the annealing temperature increasing,the dislocation density was reduced by static recrystallization(SRX)and grain growth,leading to a decreased strength and ductility. | Tingzhuang Han Jingfeng Zou Guangsheng Huang Lifeng Ma Chaojie Che Weitao Jia Lifei Wang Fusheng Pan | 2021 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,5: | 2 |
| 8 | Statistical Analysis of Thunderstorms on the Eastern Tibetan Plateau Based on Modified Thunderstorm Indices显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau, with an average altitude above 4000 m, is the highest and largest plateau in the world. The frequency of thunderstorms in this region is extremely high. Many indices are used in operational forecasting to assess the stability of the atmosphere and predict the probability of severe thunderstorm development. One of the disadvantages of many of these indices is that they are mainly based on observations from plains. However, considering the Plateau's high elevation, most convective parameters cannot be applied directly, or their application is ineffective. The pre-convective environment on thunderstorm days in this region is investigated based on sounding data obtained throughout a five-year period(2006–10).Thunderstorms occur over the Tibetan Plateau under conditions that differ strikingly from those in plains. On this basis,stability indices, such as the Showalter index(including SI and SICCL), and the K index are improved to better assess the thunderstorm environments on the Plateau. Verification parameters, such as the true-skill statistic(TSS) and Heidke skill score(HSS), are adopted to evaluate the optimal thresholds and relative forecast skill for each modified index. Lastly, the modified indices are verified with a two-year independent dataset(2011–12), showing satisfactory results for the modified indices. The process changes both in mean and variance owing to online parameter adjustment make it hard to apply traditional SPC charts in such DOE-based APC applied process. An adaptive SPC scheme is developed, which can better track the process transitions and achieve the possible SPC run cost reduction when the process is stable. The control law of SPC parameters is designed by fully utilizing the estimation properties of the process model instead of traditionally using the data collected from the production line.
