| 1 | Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid reduces neuronal apoptosis induced by amyloid beta-peptide (25-35)显示文摘Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid might attenuate learning/memory impairment and neuronal loss in rats induced by amyloid beta-peptide. This study aimed to explore the effects of Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid on amyloid beta-peptide-induced neuronal apoptosis and the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in the rat hippocampus. Male Wistar rats were given intragastric administration of Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid, 50 or 100 mg/kg, once per day. On day 8 after administration, 10 μg amyloid beta-peptide (25-35) was injected into the bilateral hippocampus of rats to induce neuronal apoptosis. On day 20, hippocampal tissue was harvested and probed with the terminal deoxyribonucleotidyl transferase-mediated biotin-16-dUTP nick-end labeling assay. Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid at 50 and 100 mg/kg reduced neuronal apoptosis induced by amyloid beta-peptide (25-35 in the rat hippocampus. Immunohistochemistry and western blot assay revealed that expression of the pro-apoptotic protein Bax, cytochrome c and caspase-3 was significantly diminished by 50 and 100 mg/kg Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid, while expression of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 was increased. Moreover, 100 mg/kg Scutellaria baicalensis stem-leaf total flavonoid had a more dramatic effect than the lower dosage. | 2 | An Experimental Study on Optimization of Large-volume Airgun Source Excitation Conditions in a Reservoir显示文摘Through manual pickup of seismic phases,the number of recording stations,the farthest observation distance of station and received energy are determined,then optimal operating condition processing software is developed to evaluate the excitation effect of operating conditions. The optimal operating conditions in the Mianhuatan Reservoir are determined using this software. They are: optimal water depth 25 m,airgun array sink depth 9m and airgun array size 7m × 7m. At the same time,accumulative stacking results for every 10 times are analyzed for 300 fixed-point excitations. It is concluded that the excitation effect shows a rapidly rising trend at 10 to 90 times stacking,a slowly rising trend at 100 to 150 times stacking,a rapidly rising trend at 160 to 240 times stacking,and a slowly rising trend at 250 to 300 times stacking. | 3 | Medicinals with properties of warming Yang and tonifying Qi in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine: their effects on left ventricular ejection fraction and aldosterone in rats with induced failure heart显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate on Left ventricular ejection fraction value and aldosterone of two medicinals of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) with the properties of warming Yang and tonifying Qi in terms of TCM theory.METHODS: An animal model of coronary ligation of heart failure after myocardial infarction was employed to study the influence of these two kinds of drugs on three batches of rats. On the basis of the average score of left ventricle ejection fraction during the investigation, there were some different groups, including Wen Yang(the warming Yang)group, Yi Qi(tonifying Qi) group, Wen Yang and Yi Qi group, captopril group, digoxin group. In additional, an artificial operation group was set for compari-son. The systemic intervention using these medicinal and drugs was taken effects on the 2nd day after the operation of myocardial infraction(MI) with once a day. At week one, two, and four after the MI treatment, evaluated were EF values, and ferritin,angiotensin-II and aldosterone in the rats' plasma.RESULTS: At week one and week two, the medicinal of Wen Yang, Yi Qi, Wen Yang pluse Yi Qi, and digoxin could improve left ventricular ejection fraction in rats with heart failure; Compared to the model group, captopril Left ventricular EF value increased, but there was not significant. At week four,heart failure and left ventricular EF values was improved in the intervention group and the other four captopril drug intervention. At week one in the rats with drug intervention, the medicinals of Yi Qi, Wen Yang plus Yi Qi, and captopril could inhibit activation in vivo hormone aldosterone in heart failure rats; aldosterone in Wen Yang group and digoxin group were not different from that in the model group at week two and four.CONCLUSION: Chinese medicinals with properties of Wen Yang, Yi Qi have significant effect on improving left ventricular EF in rats with heart failure; compared to Yi Qi medicinals, Wen Yang medicinals that inhibit the effectiveness of the time required for the activation of the role of aldosterone. | 4 | Characterization and validation of somatic mutation spectrum to reveal heterogeneity in gastric cancer by single cell sequencing显示文摘Gastric cancer(GC) is a highly heterogeneous disease with multiple cellular types and poor prognosis.However, the cellular evolution and molecular basis of GC at the individual intra-tumor level has not been well demonstrated. We performed single-cell whole exome sequencing to detect somatic singlenucleotide variants(SNVs) and significantly mutated genes(SMGs) among 34 tumor cells and 9 normal cells from a patient with GC. The Complete Prediction for Protein Conformation(CPPC) approach directly predicting the folding conformation of the protein 3D structure with Protein Folding Shape Code, combined with functional experiments were used to confirm the characterization of mutated SMGs in GC cells. We identified 201 somatic SNVs, including 117 non-synonymous mutations in GC cells. Further analysis identified 24 significant mutated genes(SMGs) in single cells, for which a single amino acid change might affect protein conformation. Among them, two genes(CDC27 and FLG) that were mutated only in single cells but not in the corresponding tumor tissue, were recurrently present in another GC tissue cohort, and may play a potential role to promote carcinogenesis, as confirmed by functional characterization. | 14 | Effect of high pressure torsion process on the microhardness,microstructure and tribological property of Ti6Al4V alloy显示文摘In the present study,a fully lamellar Ti6Al4V alloy was severely deformed by high pressure torsion(HPT)process under a pressure of 7.5 GPa up to 10 revolutions.Experimental results revealed that the microhardness of Ti6Al4V was increased remarkably by about~41%and saturated at about 432 Hv after the HPT process.A relatively uniform bulk nanostructured Ti6Al4V alloy with an average grain size of about52.7 nm was obtained eventually,and no obvious formation of metastableωphase was detected by XRD analysis.For the first time,the tribological properties of the HPT processed Ti6Al4V alloy were investigated by a ball-on-disc test at room temperature under a dry condition.It was found that HPT process had a great influence on the friction and wear behaviors of Ti6Al4V alloy.With increasing the number of HPT revolutions,both friction coefficient and specific wear rate were obviously decreased due to the reduction of abrasion and adhesion wears.After being deformed by 10 HPT revolutions,the friction coefficient was reduced from about 0.49 to 0.37,and the specific wear rate was reduced by about 48%.The observations in this study indicated that HPT processed Ti6Al4V alloys had good potential in structural applications owing to their greatly improved mechanical and tribological properties. | Guanyu Deng Xing Zhao Lihong Su Peitang Wei Liang Zhang Lihua Zhan Yan Chong Hongtao Zhu Nobuhiro Tsuji | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,35: | 1 |

| 19 | Occurrence and distribution of micro-and mesoplastics in the high-latitude nature reserve,northern China显示文摘Microplastics pollution has received growing attention worldwide in recent years.However,data on microplastics in the freshwater environment are still limited,especially in high-latitude nature reserves in Northern China.The first study on microplastic pollution in the Liaohe River Reserve in Northern China is reported here,and mesoplastics were also incorporated.Surface water and sediment samples were collected from 32 sites along the nature reserve.The abundance,type,shape,color,and size of micro-and mesoplastics were measured using density extraction,optical microscopy,and FTIR spectroscopy.The data showed that diverse micro-and mesoplastics were found widespread in the 32 sites,and the average abundance of these plastics was 0.11±0.0410^(–2) items/L in surface water and 62.29±54.30 items/kg in sediment.Moreover,70%and 66%were smaller than 2000μm in surface water and sediment,respectively.Fiber accounted for 91.86%in surface water and 43.48%in sediment,indicating that the major source of micro-and mesoplastics in the Liaohe River Reserve may be domestic sewage and aquaculture.A total of 16 and 27 polymers were identified in surface water and sediment,respectively,and mostly consisted of rayon,polyester,polystyrene,and poly(ethylene terephthalate).Moreover,both the risk index and the pollution load index demonstrated a low risk of micro-and mesoplastics in surface water and sediment in the Liaohe River Reserve. | Wenwen Gong Yu Xing Lihua Han Anxiang Lu Han Qu Li Xu | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,9: | 0 |
