| 1 | Distinct Contributions of Replication and Transcription to Mutation Rate Variation of Human Genomes显示文摘Here, we evaluate the contribution of two major biological processes-DNA replication and transcription-to mutation rate variation in human genomes. Based on analysis of the public human tissue transcriptomics data, high-resolution replicating map of Hela cells and dbSNP data, we present significant correlations between expres-sion breadth, replication time in local regions and SNP density. SNP density of tissue-specific (TS) genes is sig-nificantly higher than that of housekeeping (HK) genes. TS genes tend to locate in late-replicating genomic re-gions and genes in such regions have a higher SNP density compared to those in early-replication regions. In addi-tion, SNP density is found to be positively correlated with expression level among HK genes. We conclude that the process of DNA replication generates stronger mutational pressure than transcription-associated biological processes do, resulting in an increase of mutation rate in TS genes while having weaker effects on HK genes. | 2 | Dielectric Properties of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) Ceramics by Impedance Spectroscopic Method显示文摘Various lead-free ceramics have been investigated in search for new high-temperature dielectrics. In particular, Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) is a type of ferroelectric ceramics, which is supposed to replace leadcontaining ceramics for its outstanding dielectric properties in the near future. Ferroelectric ceramics of Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) made by conventional mixed oxide route have been studied by impedance spectroscopy in a wide range of temperature. X-ray diffraction patterns show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a single-phase of ferroelectric Bi-layered perovskite structure whether it is calcined at 800 ℃ or after sintering production. This study focused on the effect of the grain size on the electric properties of BIT ceramics. The BIT ceramics with different grain sizes were prepared at different sintering temperatures. Grain becomes coarser with the sintering temperature increasing by 50 ℃, relative permittivity and dielectric loss also change a lot. When sintered at 1 100 ℃, r values peak can reach 205.40 at a frequency of 100 k Hz, the minimum dielectric losses of four different frequencies make no difference, all close to 0.027. The values of Ea range from 0.52 to 0.68 e V. The dielectric properties of the sample sintered at 1 100 ℃ are relatively better than those of the other samples by analyzing the relationship of the grain, the internal stresses, the homogeneity and the dielectric properties. SEM can better explain the results of the dielectric spectrum at different sintering temperatures. The results show that Bi_4Ti_3O_(12) ceramics are a kind of dielectrics. | 4 | Heat contribution of the Indonesian throughflow to the Indian Ocean显示文摘Based on the high-resolution Eulerian fields of an ocean general circulation model simulation, the heat contribution of the Indonesian throughflow(ITF) to the Indian Ocean is estimated by Lagrangian tracing method.The heat transport of each particle of ITF waters is calculated by tracing temperature change along the trajectory until the particle exits the Indian Ocean. The simulation reveals that the ITF waters flow westward and branch near Madagascar, further showing the ITF waters are redistributed in both northern and southern Indian Ocean.Heat budget analysis indicates that the ITF waters gain 0.41 PW(Petawatts, 1015 W) in the northern Indian Ocean and lose 0.56 PW in the southern Indian Ocean, respectively. As a result, the ITF waters warm the whole Indian Ocean basin with only 0.15 PW, which shows an 'insignificant' role of ITF on the Indian Ocean because of the heat exchange compensation between northern and southern Indian Ocean. Furthermore, the tracing pathways show that the ITF waters mainly flow out the Indian Ocean at both sides of the basin via Agulhas Current and Leeuwin Current. About 89% of the ITF waters leave along western boundary and the rest 11% along eastern boundary. | 9 | Efficient Semi‑Transparent Wide‑Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells Enabled by Pure‑Chloride 2D‑Perovskite Passivation显示文摘Wide-bandgap(WBG)perovskite solar cells suffer from severe non-radiative recombination and exhibit relatively large opencircuit voltage(V_(OC))deficits,limiting their photovoltaic performance.Here,we address these issues by in-situ forming a well-defined 2D perovskite(PMA)_(2)PbCl_(4)(phenmethylammonium is referred to as PMA)passivation layer on top of the WBG active layer.The 2D layer with highly pure dimensionality and halide components is realized by intentionally tailoring the side-chain substituent at the aryl ring of the post-treatment reagent.First-principle calculation and single-crystal X-ray diffraction results reveal that weak intermolecular interactions between bulky PMA cations and relatively low cation-halide hydrogen bonding strength are crucial in forming the well-defined 2D phase.The(PMA)_(2)PbCl_(4)forms improved type-I energy level alignment with the WBG perovskite,reducing the electron recombination at the perovskite/hole-transport-layer interface.Applying this strategy in fabricating semi-transparent WBG perovskite solar cells(indium tin oxide as the back electrode),the V_(OC)deficits can be reduced to 0.49 V,comparable with the reported state-of-the-art WBG perovskite solar cells using metal electrodes.Consequently,we obtain hysteresis-free 18.60%-efficient WBG perovskite solar cells with a high V_(OC)of 1.23 V. | Liu Yang Yongbin Jin Zheng Fang Jinyan Zhang Ziang Nan Lingfang Zheng Huihu Zhuang Qinghua Zeng Kaikai Liu Bingru Deng Huiping Feng Yujie Luo Chengbo Tian Changcai Cui Liqiang Xie Xipeng Xu Zhanhua Wei | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8: | 1 |

| 12 | Evaluating the effect of midpalatal corticotomy-assisted rapid maxillary expansion on the upper airway in young adults using computational fluid dynamics显示文摘Midpalatal corticotomy-assisted rapid maxillary expansion(MCRME)is a minimally invasive treatment of maxillary transverse deficiency(MTD)in young adults.However,the effect of MCRME on respiratory function still needs to be determined.In this study,we evaluated the changes in maxillary morphology and the upper airway following MCRME using computational fluid dynamics(CFD).Twenty patients with MTD(8 males,12 females;mean age 20.55 years)had cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)images taken before and after MCRME.The CBCT data were used to construct a threedimensional(3 D)upper airway model.The upper airway flow characteristics were simulated using CFD,and measurements were made based on the CBCT images and CFD.The results showed that the widths of the palatal bone and nasal cavity,and the intermolar width were increased significantly after MCRME.The volume of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx increased significantly,while there were no obvious changes in the volumes of the oropharynx and hypopharynx.CFD simulation of the upper airway showed that the pressure drop and maximum velocity of the upper airway decreased significantly after treatment.Our results suggest that in these young adults with MTD,increasing the maxillary width,upper airway volume,and quantity of airflow by MCRME substantially improved upper airway ventilation. | Juan LI Lingfang SHI Xiayao ZHANG Luxi WENG Hong CHEN Jun LIN | 2021 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,2: | 1 |

Both the temperature and magnetic field induced insulator-to-metal transitions(IMTs) are observed via magneto-optical properties of the crystal. The critical magnetic field(H//c) of IMT for CRMO is found to be as large as 35 T at 5 K. The fine structure of optical spectra identified the antiferromagnetic/ferro-orbital-ordering configurations of Ru 4d orbitals at low temperatures. Meanwhile, the configuration of orbital polarization of such double-layer CRMO single crystal is discussed. | 17 | The influence of Bi content on dielectric properties of Bi_(4-x)Ti_(3)O_(12-1.5x) ceramics显示文摘A kind of lead-free dielectric materials,such as the bismuth layered perovskite-type structure of Bi4-xTi3O12-1.5x(x=0.04,0.02,0,-0.02,-0.04),was prepared by the conventional solid-state method at 800C and sintered at 1100C.The variation of structure and electrical properties with different Bi concentration was studied.All the Bi4-xTi3O12-1.5x(x=0.04,0.02,0,-0.02,-0.04)samples exhibited a single structured phase.SEM could be a better approach to present the microstructure of Bi4-xTi3O12-1.5x(x=0.04,0.02,0,-0.02,-0.04)ceramics.It could be found that the grain size of Bi4.02Ti3O12.03 sintered at 1100C was smaller than that of others among the five samples through grain size mechanics.Through impedance spectra analysis,we knew,when the Bi content was fixed,that the dielectric constant and the loss values increased with the decrease of frequency.The Curie temperature of the five samples was about 670C.In particular,while at the frequency of 100 kHz,the lowest loss was 0.001 when Bi content was 3.98.The Bi4.02Ti3O12.03 ceramics with the minimum grain size had highest dielectric constant and the relatively low loss.Due to its high Curie temperature,high permittivity and low loss,the Bi_(4)Ti_(3)O_(12)(BIT)ceramics have a broad application prospect in high density memory,generator,sensor,ferroelectric tunnel junctions and so on. | Hui Gong Xiying Ke Shuqin Yang Zhaozhi Li Huyin Su Cancan Zhang Qian Luo Qi Chen Lingfang Xu Yong Chen Wei Wang | 2017 | Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2017,7,3: | 0 |
