2The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic,progressive and debilitating disease,which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia and postural instability.As the disease progresses,additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago,there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians,leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then,the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved.Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence,and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed,including physical activity and disease-modifying medication,which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease.The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications.Moreover,different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly,treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China.Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao 2016Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1:23
3A restoration-promoting integrated floating bed and its experimental performance in eutrophication remediation显示文摘Numerous studies on eutrophication remediation have mainly focused on purifying water first, then restoring submerged macrophytes. A restoration-promoting integrated floating bed(RPIFB) was designed to combine the processes of water purification and macrophyte restoration simultaneously. Two outdoor experiments were conducted to evaluate the ecological functions of the RPIFB. Trial 1 was conducted to compare the eutrophication purification among floating bed, gradual-submerging bed(GSB) and RPIFB technologies. The results illustrated that RPIFB has the best purification capacity. Removal efficiencies of RPIFB for TN, TP, NH+ 4-N, NO-3-N, CODCr, Chlorophyll-a and turbidity were 74.45%, 98.31%, 74.71%, 88.81%, 71.42%, 90.17% and 85%, respectively. In trial 2, influences of depth of GSB and photic area in RPIFB on biota were investigated. When the depth of GSB decreased and the photic area of RPIFB grew, the height of Potamogeton crispus Linn. increased, but the biomass of Canna indica Linn. was reduced. The mortalities of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus and Bellamya aeruginosa in each group were all less than 7%. All results indicated that when the RPIFB was embedded into the eutrophic water, the regime shift from phytoplankton-dominated to macrophyte-dominated state could be promoted. 4Global overview of research progress and development of precision maize planters显示文摘Maize is the most important crop for food and widely used for industrial materials,leading to its increasing demand all over the world.Precision planting is the effective method to increase maize yield.To meet the agronomic requirement of precision planting,different kinds of precision maize planters were developed.However,because of the difference of geographical environment,cropping system,farm scale and economic status among different countries,types of maize planters are various and the technologies involved are at different levels.This paper summarizes the precision maize planters currently available in the world and classifies them into four types:precision planters for tilled-land,minimum/no tilled-land,hilly&small land,and cold&arid land.Detailed characteristics have been provided for some typical precision planters and comparisons were made as to their suitability under particular working conditions.High-efficiency and high-accuracy are the main features of precision planters for tilled-land,while the ability to clean residue from seed rows and prevent planters to be blocked are the important function of precision planters for minimum/no tilled-land.To fit for hilly&small land,planters should be light-weighted and small-sized,and to warm up soil and keep moisture,planters for cold&arid land should be equipped with plastic-film mulching mechanism.Finally,developing trend of precision planting technology was analyzed and suggestions,including policy support and technical improvement,were made for developing countries to make suitable precision maize planters according to the local geographical conditions and cropping systems.Yang Li Yan Bingxin Cui Tao Yu Yiming He Xiantao Liu Quanwei Liang Zhijie Yin Xiaowei Zhang Dongxing 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,1:17
5High porosity and low thermal conductivity high entropy(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2C显示文摘Porous ultra-high temperature ceramics(UHTCs)are promising for ultrahigh-temperature thermal insulation applications.However,the main limitations for their applications are the high thermal conductivity and densification of porous structure at high temperatures.In order to overcome these obstacles,herein,porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))C was prepared by a simple method combing in-situ reaction and partial sintering.Porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))C possesses homogeneous microstructure with grain size in the range of 100–500 nm and pore size in the range of 0.2–1μm,which exhibits high porosity of 80.99%,high compressive strength of 3.45 MPa,low room temperature thermal conductivity of 0.39 W·m^-1K^-1,low thermal diffusivity of 0.74 mm^2·s^-1and good high temperature stability.The combination of these properties renders porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))Cpromising as light-weight ultrahigh temperature thermal insulation materials.Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Jiachen Liu Yiming Lei Jie Zhang Yanchun Zhou 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8:16

7The levels, sources and reactivity of volatile organic compounds in a typical urban area of Northeast China显示文摘Air concentrations of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) were continually measured at a monitoring site in Shenyang from 20 August to 16 September 2017. The average concentrations of alkanes, alkenes, aromatics and carbonyls were 28.54, 6.30, 5.59 and9.78 ppbv, respectively. Seven sources were identified by the Positive Matrix Factorization model based on the measurement data of VOCs and CO. Vehicle exhaust contributed the most(36.15%) to the total propene-equivalent concentration of the measured VOCs,followed by combustion emission(16.92%), vegetation emission and secondary formation(14.33%), solvent usage(10.59%), petrochemical industry emission(9.89%), petrol evaporation(6.28%), and liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) usage(5.84%). Vehicle exhaust, solvent usage and combustion emission were found to be the top three VOC sources for O_3 formation potential, accounting for 34.52%, 16.55% and 11.94%, respectively. The diurnal variation of the total VOCs from each source could be well explained by their emission characteristics,e.g., the two peaks of VOC concentrations from LPG usage were in line with the cooking times for breakfast and lunch. Wind rose plots of the VOCs from each source could reveal the possible distribution of the sources around the monitoring site. 10Effect of organic wastes on the plant-microbe remediation for removal of aged PAHs in soils显示文摘The effectiveness of in-situ bioremediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) may be inhibited by low nutrients and organic carbon.To evaluate the effect of organic wastes on the PAHs removal efficiency of a plant-microbe remediation system,contaminated agricultural soils were amended with different dosages of sewage sludge(SS) and cattle manure(CM) in the presence of alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.) and PAHs-degraders(Bacillus sp.and Flavobacterium sp.).The results indicated that the alfalfa mean biomasses varied from 0.56 to 2.23 g/pot in root dry weight and from 1.80 to 4.88 g/pot in shoot dry weight.Low dose amendments,with rates of SS at 0.1% and CM at 1%,had prominent effects on plant growth and soil PAHs degradation.After 60-day incubation,compared with about 5.6% in the control,25.8% PAHs removal was observed for treatments in the presence of alfalfa and PAHs-degraders;furthermore,when amended with different dosages of SS and CM,the removed PAHs from soils increased by 35.5%-44.9% and 25.5%-42.3%,respectively.In particular,the degradation of high-molecular-weight PAHs was up to 42.4%.Dehydrogenase activities(DH) ranged between 0.41 and 1.83 μg triphenylformazan/(g dry soil·hr) and the numbers of PAHs-degrading microbes(PDM) ranged from 1.14×10 6 to 16.6×10 6 most-probable-number/g dry soil.Further investigation of the underlying microbial mechanism revealed that both DH and PDM were stimulated by the addition of organic wastes and significantly correlated with the removal ratio of PAHs.In conclusion,the effect of organic waste application on soil PAHs removal to a great extent is dependent on the interactional effect of nutrients and dissolved organic matter in organic waste and soil microorganisms.Jing Zhang Xiangui Lin Weiwei Liu Yiming Wang Jun Zeng Hong Chen 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,8:11

13Methane emissions from rice fields under continuous straw return in the middle-lower reaches of the Yangtze River显示文摘A three-year experiment was conducted in the middle-lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China to study the influence of continuous wheat straw return during the rice season and continuous rice straw return in wheat on methane (CH 4 ) emissions from rice fields in which, the rice-wheat rotation system is the most dominant planting pattern. The field experiment was initiated in October 2009 and has continued since the wheat-growing season of that year. The analyses for the present study were conducted in the second (2011) and third (2012) rice growing seasons. Four treatments, namely, the continuous return of wheat straw and rice straw in every season (WR), of rice straw but no wheat straw return (R), of wheat straw but no rice straw return (W) and a control with no straw return (CK), were laid out in a randomized split-plot design. The total seasonal CH 4 emissions ranged from 107.4 to 491.7 kg/ha (2011) and 160.3 to 909.6 kg/ha (2012). The increase in CH 4 emissions for treatments WR and W were 289% and 230% in the second year and 185% and 225% in the third year, respectively, in relation to CK. We observed less methane emissions in the treatment R than in CK by 14%-43%, but not statistically significant. Treatment R could increase rice productivity while no more CH 4 emission occurs. 14Devonian Sea-Level Change Rhythms in South China and Coupling Relationships Among the Earth-spheres显示文摘Twenty orthosequences and their corresponding sea-level change (SLC) cycles have been recognized in the Devonian overlying the Caledonian unconformity, of which 9, 5.5 and 5.5 occurred in the Lower, Middle and Upper Devonian respectively. They can be grouped into 4 orthosequence sets, in which the maximum flooding surfaces lie in the sulcutus Zone (D12), perbonus Zone (D13), Middle and Upper varcus Zone (D22) and gigas Zone (D21) respectively. Four instant palaeogeographical reconstructions of South China have been made in the Emsian and Givetian. 15Clue to a thorough understanding of terahertz pulse generation by femtosecond laser filamentation显示文摘In this work, it has been demonstrated that in order to fully understand the terahertz(THz) pulse generation process during femtosecond laser filamentation, the interaction between THz wave and air plasma has to be taken into account. This interaction is mainly associated with the spatial confinement of the THz pulse by the plasma column, which could be described by the one-dimensional negative dielectric(1DND) waveguide model. By combining the 1 DND model with the conventional four-wave mixing(4WM) and photocurrent(PC) models,the variation of THz spectral amplitude and width obtained in experiments could be better understood. 16Non-covalently Functionalized Graphene Oxide-Based Coating to Enhance Thermal Stability and Flame Retardancy of PVA Film显示文摘The synergistic effect of conventional flame-retardant elements and graphene has received extensive attention in the development of a new class of flame retardants. Compared to covalent modification, the noncovalent strategy is simpler and expeditious and entirely preserves the original quality of graphene. Thus, non-covalently functionalized graphene oxide(FGO) with a phosphorus–nitrogen compound was successfully prepared via a one-pot process in this study. Polyethyleneimine and FGO were alternatively deposited on the surface of a poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) film via layer-by-layer assembly driven by electrostatic interaction, imparting excellent flame retardancy to the coated PVA film. The multilayer FGO-based coating formed a protective shield encapsulating the PVA matrix, effectively blocking the transfer of heat and mass during combustion. The coated PVA has a higher initial decomposition temperature of about 260 °C and a nearly 60% reduction in total heat release than neat PVA does. 17Sequential fate-switches in stem-like cells drive the tumorigenic trajectory from human neural stem cells to malignant glioma显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is an incurable and highly heterogeneous brain tumor,originating from human neural stem/progenitor cells(hNSCs/hNPCs)years ahead of diagnosis.Despite extensive efforts to characterize hNSCs and end-stage GBM at bulk and single-cell levels,the de novo gliomagenic path from hNSCs is largely unknown due to technical difficulties in early-stage sampling and preclinical modeling.Here,we established two highly penetrant hNSC-derived malignant glioma models,which resemble the histopathology and transcriptional heterogeneity of human GBM.Integrating time-series analyses of whole-exome sequencing,bulk and single-cell RNA-seq,we reconstructed gliomagenic trajectories,and identified a persistent NSC-like population at all stages of tumorigenesis.Through trajectory analyses and lineage tracing,we showed that tumor progression is primarily driven by multi-step transcriptional reprogramming and fate-switches in the NSC-like cells,which sequentially generate malignant heterogeneity and induce tumor phenotype transitions.We further uncovered stage-specific oncogenic cascades,and among the candidate genes we functionally validated C1QL1 as a new glioma-promoting factor.Importantly,the neurogenic-to-gliogenic switch in NSC-like cells marks an early stage characterized by a burst of oncogenic alterations,during which transient AP-1 inhibition is sufficient to inhibit gliomagenesis.Together,our results reveal previously undercharacterized molecular dynamics and fate choices driving de novo gliomagenesis from hNSCs,and provide a blueprint for potential early-stage treatment/diagnosis for GBM.Xiaofei Wang Ran Zhou Yanzhen Xiong Lingling Zhou Xiang Yan Manli Wang Fan Li Chuanxing Xie Yiming Zhang Zongyao Huang Chaoqiong Ding Kaidou Shi Weida Li Yu Liu Zhongwei Cao Zhen-Ning Zhang Shengtao Zhou Chong Chen Yan Zhang Lu Chen Yuan Wang 2021Cell Research2021,31,6:8
18Metallogenic model and prognosis of the Shuiyindong super-large strata-bound Carlin-type gold deposit, southwestern Guizhou Province, China显示文摘The Shuiyindong deposit is one of the largest (more than 100 tonnes of Au) and highest grade (more than 7×10-6-10×10-6), strata-bound Carlintype gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou Province, China. The deposit is controlled by both structure and favorable lithology. It is situated near the axis of the striking Huijiabao anticline and is hosted in bioclastic limestone of the Permian Longtan Formation. Gold mineralization occurred under low temperature with Th of 220℃± and is closely associated with decarbonation, silicification, sulfidation and dolomitization. The deposit has a characteristic elemental assemblage of Au-As-Hg-Tl. Studies of geochemistry and isotope compositions indicated that the ore-bearing materials and fluids of the gold deposit mainly originated from a plutonic source, and possess a mixing feature with the strata matter during transportation from mantle to crust. Fluid inclusions in vein quartz from the gold deposit are rich in volatile flux, indicating that metallogenic fluid is an overpres-sured one. The activity and geothermal state of the Earth's crust in the long period of time are favorable for the formation of overpressured fluids in a large area, and extensive structures would drive the fluids into ore-forming sys-tem and make gold deposits formed. The complexity of structural movement in the upper crust of southwestern Guizhou Province resulted in complicated gold mineralization. 20Focal adhesion protein Kindlin-2 regulates bone homeostasis in mice显示文摘Our recent studies demonstrate that the focal adhesion protein Kindlin-2 is critical for chondrogenesis and early skeletal development. Here, we show that deleting Kindlin-2 from osteoblasts using the 2.3-kb mouse Col1 a1-Cre transgene minimally impacts bone mass in mice, but deleting Kindlin-2 using the 10-kb mouse Dmp1-Cre transgene, which targets osteocytes and mature osteoblasts, results in striking osteopenia in mice. Kindlin-2 loss reduces the osteoblastic population but increases the osteoclastic and adipocytic populations in the bone microenvironment. Kindlin-2 loss upregulates sclerostin in osteocytes,downregulates β-catenin in osteoblasts, and inhibits osteoblast formation and differentiation in vitro and in vivo. Upregulation ofβ-catenin in the mutant cells reverses the osteopenia induced by Kindlin-2 deficiency. Kindlin-2 loss additionally increases the expression of RANKL in osteocytes and increases osteoclast formation and bone resorption. Kindlin-2 deletion in osteocytes promotes osteoclast formation in osteocyte/bone marrow monocyte cocultures, which is significantly blocked by an anti-RANKLneutralizing antibody.
