Metabolic syndrome, intracranial arterial stenosis and cerebral small vessel disease in community- dwelling populations显示文摘Background and purpose This study aimed to investigate the association of metabolic syndrome(MetS)with both intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS)and imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)in a community-based sample. Methods This study included 943 participants(aged 55.6±9.2 years,36.1%male)from the community-based Shunyi cohort study.MetS was defined according to the joint interim criteria and quantified by the MetS severity Z-score.ICAS was evaluated by brain magnetic resonance angiography. The MRI markers of CSVD,including white matter hyperintensities(WMHs),lacunes, cerebral microbleeds(CMBs)and enlarged perivascular spaces(EPVS),were assessed.Multiple regression models were used to investigate the association of MetS severity Z-score with ICAS and these CSVD markers. Results We found that risk of ICAS(OR=1.75,95%CI 1.39 to 2.21,p<0.001)increased consistently with MetS severity.MetS severity was significantly associated with higher risks of WMH volume(β=0.11,95%CI 0.01 to 0.20,p=0.02)and lacunes(OR=1.28,95%CI 1.03 to 1.59,p=0.03)but not the presence of CMBs(OR=0.93,95%CI 0.74 to 1.16,p=0.51)and PVS severity(EPVS in basal ganglia:OR=0.96,95%CI 0.84 to 1.09,p=0.51 and EPVS in white matter:OR=1.09,95%CI 0.96 to 1.23,p=0.21).Conclusions Our findings suggest that WMH and lacunes share risk factors with atherosclerosis of the cerebral artery, whereas the impact of glucose and lipid metabolic disorder to CMB or EPVS might be weak.Mei-Jun Shu Fei-Fei Zhai Ding-Ding Zhang Fei Han Lixin Zhou Jun Ni Ming Yao Shu-Yang Zhang Li-Ying Cui Zheng-Yu Jin Hui-Juan Zhu Yi-Cheng Zhu 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4:3
Helical Fiber Pull-out in Biological Materials显示文摘Many biological materials, such as wood and bone, possess helicoid microstructures at microscale, which can serve as reinforcing elements to transfer stress between crack surfaces and improve the fracture toughness of their composites. Failure processes, such as fiber/matrix interface debonding and sliding associated with pull-out of helical fibers, are responsible mainly for the high energy dissipation needed for the fracture toughness enhancement. Here we present systemic analyses of the pull-out behavior of a helical fiber from an elastic matrix via the finite element method(FEM) simulation, with implications regarding the underlying toughening mechanism of helicoid microstructures. We find that, through their uniform curvature and torsion, helical fibers can provide high pull-out force and large interface areas, resulting in high energy dissipation that accounts, to a large extent, for the high toughness of biological materials. The helicity of fiber shape in terms of the helical angle has significant effects on the force-displacement relationships as well as the corresponding energy dissipation during fiber pull-out.Lixin Wang Yuhong Cui Qinghua Qin Hui Wang Jianshan Wang 2016Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2016,29,3:2
Research on Remote Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis Technology of Numerical Control Machine显示文摘Based on the internet technology,it has become possible to complete remote monitoring and fault diagnosis for the numerical control machine. In order to capture the micro-shock signal induced by the incipient fault on the rotating parts, the reso- nance demodulation technology is utilized in the system. As a subsystem of the remote monitoring system, the embedded data acquisi- tion instrument not only integrates the demodulation board but also complete the collection and preprocess of monitoring data from different machines.Furthermore, through connecting to the internet, the data can be transferred to the remote diagnosis center and data reading and writing function can be finished in the database. At the same time, the problem of the IP address floating in the dial-up of web server is solved by the dynamic DNS technology. Finally, the remote diagnosis software developed on the Lab VIEW platform can analyze the monitoring data from manufacturing field. The research results have indicated that the equipment status can be monitored by the system effectively.ZHANG Jianyu~1 GAO Lixin~1 CUI Lingli~1 LI Xianghui~2 WANG Yingwang~2 1.Key Laboratory.of Advanced Manufacturing Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100022,China 2.Tangshan Iron and Steel Corp.LTD,Tangshan 063000,China 2006武汉理工大学学报2006,28,S2:1

Numerical Study on Helical Fiber Fragmentation in Chiral Biological Materials显示文摘Chiral microstructures exist widely in natural biological materials such as wood, bone, and climbing tendrils. The helical shape of such microstructures plays an important role in stress transfer between fiber and matrix, and in the mechanical properties of biological materials. In this paper, helical fiber fragmentation behavior is studied numerically using the finite-element method(FEM), and then, the effects of helical shape on fiber deformation and fracture, and the corresponding mechanical mechanisms are investigated. The results demonstrate that, to a large degree, the initial microfibril angle(MFA) determines the elastic deformation and fracture behavior of fibers. For fibers with a large MFA, the interfacial area usually has large values, inducing a relatively low fragment density during fiber fragmentation. This work may be helpful in understanding the relationship between microstructure and mechanical property in biological materials, and in the design and fabrication of bio-inspired advanced functional materials.Jianshan Wang Li Yuan Lixin Wang Yuhong Cui Qinghua Qin 2018Transactions of Tianjin University2018,24,1:1

Suboptimal adaptive tracking control for FIR systems with binary-valued observations显示文摘In this paper,we investigate and analyze the suboptimal adaptive control for finite impulse response(FIR)systems with binary-valued observations. As the parameters of FIR systems are unknown and the measurable observations can only provide limited information,we propose and analyze a two-segment design method of an adaptive control law.First,we divide the system running time axis into many sections;each of these sections is divided into two segments.During the short segment,we design the system inputs for estimating parameters. Thus,we employ the empirical-measure-based technique for designing the identification algorithm.Second,we introduce a tracking control law to track a given target based on the system parameter estimates obtained in the short segment. We achieve this using the certainty equivalent principle in the long segment. As the length of short segments tends to infinity,we observe that the parameter estimation algorithm is consistent. However, when the length of segments tends to infinity,we find that the adaptive tracking control law is asymptotically suboptimal. Finally,we demonstrate the efficiency of the two-segment design method using the simulation results.Xiangquan LI Zhengguang XU Jiarui CUI Lixin ZHANG 2021Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,7:1

The First High-quality Reference Genome of Sika Deer Provides Insights into High-tannin Adaptation显示文摘Sika deer are known to prefer oak leaves, which are rich in tannins and toxic to most mammals;however, the genetic mechanisms underlying their unique ability to adapt to living in the jungle are still unclear. In identifying the mechanism responsible for the tolerance of a highly toxic diet,we have made a major advancement by explaining the genome of sika deer.We generated the first high-quality,chromosome-level genome assembly of sika deer and measured the correlation between tannin intake and RNA expression in 15 tissues through 180 experiments.Comparative genome analyses showed that the UGT and CYP gene families are functionally involved in the adaptation of sika deer to high-tannin food, especially the expansion of the UGT family 2 subfamily B of UGT genes. The first chromosome-level assembly and genetic characterization of the tolerance to a highly toxic diet suggest that the sika deer genome may serve as an essential resource for understanding evolutionary events and tannin adaptation. Our study provides a paradigm of comparative expressive genomics that can be applied to the study of unique biological features in non-model animals.Xiumei Xing Cheng Ai Tianjiao Wang Yang Li Huitao Liu Pengfei Hu Guiwu Wang Huamiao Liu Hongliang Wang Ranran Zhang Junjun Zheng Xiaobo Wang Lei Wang Yuxiao Chang Qian Qian Jinghua Yu Lixin Tang Shigang Wu Xiujuan Shao Alun Li Peng Cui Wei Zhan Sheng Zhao Zhichao Wu Xiqun Shao Yimeng Dong Min Rong Yihong Tan Xuezhe Cui Shuzhuo Chang Xingchao Song Tongao Yang Limin Sun Yan Ju Pei Zhao Huanhuan Fan Ying Liu Xinhui Wang Wanyun Yang Min Yang Tao Wei Shanshan Song Jiaping Xu Zhigang Yue Qiqi Liang Chunyi Li Jue Ruan Fuhe Yang 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,1:1

The efficacy assessment of convalescent plasma therapy for COVID-19 patients:a multi-center case series显示文摘Convalescent plasma(CP)transfusion has been indicated as a promising therapy in the treatment for other emerging viral infections. However, the quality control of CP and individual variation in patients in different studies make it rather difficult to evaluate the efficacy and risk of CP therapy for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).We aimed to explore the potential efficacy of CP therapy, and to assess the possible factors associated with its efficacy. We enrolled eight critical or severe COVID-19 patients from four centers. Each patient was transfused with 200–400mL of CP from seven recovered donors. The primary indicators for clinical efficacy assessment were the changes of clinical symptoms, laboratory parameters, and radiological image after CP transfusion.CP donors had a wide range of antibody levels measured by serology tests which were to some degree correlated with the neutralizing antibody(NAb)level. No adverse events were observed during and after CP transfusion.Following CP transfusion, six out of eight patients showed improved oxygen support status;chest CT indicated varying degrees of absorption of pulmonary lesions in six patients within 8 days;the viral load was decreased to a negative level in five patients who had the previous viremia;other laboratory parameters also tended to improve, including increased lymphocyte counts, decreased C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, and indicators for liver function. The clinical efficacy might be associated with CP transfusion time, transfused dose, and the NAb levels of CP.This study indicated that CP might be a potential therapy for severe patients with COVID-19.Hao Zeng Dongfang Wang Jingmin Nie Haoyu Liang Jiang Gu Anne Zhao Lixin Xu Chunhui Lang Xiaoping Cui Xiaolan Guo Changlong Zhou Haibo Li Bin Guo Jinyong Zhang Qiang Wang Li Fang Wen Liu Yishan Huang Wei Mao Yaokai Chen Quanming Zou 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:1
Research on the Comprehensive Demodulation of Gear Tooth Crack Early Fault显示文摘The component of gear vibration signal is very complex, when a localized tooth defect such as a tooth crack is pre- sent, the engagement of the cracked tooth will induce an impulsive change with comparatively low energy to the gear mesh signal and the background noise. This paper presents a new comprehensive demodulation method which combined with amplitude envelop demodulation and phase demodulation to extract gear crack early fault.A mathematical model of gear vibration signal contain crack fault is put forward.Simulation results based on this model show that the new comprehensive demodulation method is more effective in finding fault and judging fault level then conventional single amplitude demodulation at present.CUI Lingli DING Fang GAO Lixin ZHANG Jianyu (College of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Advanced Manufacturing Technology,The Key Laboratory of Beijing Municipality,Beijing 100022,China 2006武汉理工大学学报2006,28,S2:0
Remote Monitoring and Diagnosis System for High-speed Wire Rolling Mills显示文摘Traditional fault diagnosis systems of rolling mills mostly use single machine monitoring net, which leads the re- al-time data running only in the enterprise locally and can not monitor and manage the high-speed wire rolling mills between units, workshops and factories concentratedly.A new-type structure of remote diagnosis system for high-speed wire rolling mills is pre- sented in this paper. The signal processing, computer network and remote diagnosis etc techniques are used to predictive maintenance manage the rolling mills units in this system. The new structure reinforced the remote feedback function, made up the existing fault diagnosis systems’ insufficiency in the extension and the function, promoted resource sharing and avoided the repeat develop- ment. The remote diagnosis example shows that the system can monitor and diagnose the fault information of remote machine timely and effectively.CUI Lingli ZHANG Jianyu DING Fang GAO Lixin WANG Dapeng (College of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Advanced Manufacturing Technology,The Key Laboratory of Beijing Municipality,Beijing 100022,China 2006武汉理工大学学报2006,28,S2:0
