| 1 | Estimates of heritability and correlation for growth traits of Turbot(Scophthalmus maximus L.) under low temperature conditions显示文摘The objectives of this present research were to assess the heritability of growth traits under low temperature conditions in turbot(Scophthalmus maximus L.), and to analyze the correlation between body weight(BW) and body length(BL). There were 536 individuals from 25 full- and half-sib families involved in this study. During the entire 90-day period, which was initiated at 233 dph(day old) and ended at 323 dph, the individuals' BW and BL were weighed consecutively six times every 18 days. The heritability of BW and BL and the correlation between these two traits were estimated based on an individual animal model with the derivative-free restricted maximum likelihood(DFREML) method. These results showed that the specific growth rates(SGR) of 25 families was from 0.75±0.11 to 1.05±0.14 under water temperature of 10.5–12°C. In addition, the heritability of BW and BL estimated under low-temperature were 0.32±0.04 and 0.47±0.06, respectively. The BW had a medium heritability(0.2–0.4), and the BL had a high heritability(>0.45), which suggested that selection for increased weight and length was feasible. Moreover, there was potential for mass selection on growth. The genetic and phenotypic correlations between BW and BL were 0.95±0.01 and 0.91±0.01(P < 0.01), respectively. | 2 | Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. | 5 | A High-Capacity Ammonium Vanadate Cathode for Zinc-Ion Battery显示文摘Given the advantages of being abundant in resources,environmental benign and highly safe,rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)enter the global spotlight for their potential utilization in large-scale energy storage.Despite their preliminary success,zinc-ion storage that is able to deliver capacity>400 mAh g^-1 remains a great challenge.Here,we demonstrate the viability of NH4V4O10(NVO)as high-capacity cathode that breaks through the bottleneck of ZIBs in limited capacity.The first-principles calculations reveal that layered NVO is a good host to provide fast Zn^2+ions diffusion channel along its[010]direction in the interlayer space.On the other hand,to further enhance Zn^2+ion intercalation kinetics and long-term cycling stability,a three-dimensional(3D)flower-like architecture that is self-assembled by NVO nanobelts(3D-NVO)is rationally designed and fabricated through a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method.As a result,such 3D-NVO cathode possesses high capacity(485 mAh g^-1)and superior long-term cycling performance(3000 times)at 10 A g^-1(~50 s to full discharge/charge).Additionally,based on the excellent 3D-NVO cathode,a quasi-solid-state ZIB with capacity of 378 mAh g^-1is developed. | Qifei Li Xianhong Rui Dong Chen Yuezhan Feng Ni Xiao Liyong Gan Qi Zhang Yan Yu Shaoming Huang | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5: | 2 |
| 6 | Recent advances on study of hadrosaurid dinosaurs in Heilongjiang(Amur) River area between China and Russia显示文摘Four main dinosaur-bearing sites have been investigated in latest Cretaceous deposits from the Amur/Heilongjiang Region: Jiayin and Wulaga in China (Yuliangze Formation) ,Blagoveschensk and Kundur in Rus- sia (Udurchukan Formation) . More than 90% of the bones discovered in these localities belong to hollowcrested lambeosaurine hadrosaurids: Charonosaurus jiayinensis at Jiayin,Amurosaurus riabinini at Blagoveschensk, Olorotitan arharensis at Kundur,and Sahaliyania elunchunorum at Wulaga. Flat-headed hadrosaurine hadrosau- rids are much less numerous,but appear well diversified as well: Kerberosaurus manakini at Blagoveschensk, Wulagasaurus dongi at Wulaga,and a new genus at Kundur. Theropods are represented by shed teeth and isolated bones; isolated scutes and teeth discovered at Kundur are tentatively attributed to nodosaurids. Palynologi- cal studies suggest that these sites are probably synchronous with the Lancian' vertebrate localities of western North America,which represent the youngest dinosaur faunas in this area. However,the latest Cretaceous dinosaur assemblages are completely different in the Amur/Heilongjiang region (lambeosaurines abundant,ceratopsids absent) and in western North America (ceratopsids abundant,lambeosaurines extremely rare or absent) . | 19 | Experimental and Theoretical Study on Thermal Stability of Mixture R1234ze(E)/R32 in Organic Rankine Cycle显示文摘The use of Organic Rankine Cycle(ORC)for renewable energy utilization and industrial waste heat recovery is currently attracting growing attention.The working fluids in ORC may face thermally decompose during the working process.The thermal stability and pyrolysis mechanism of R1234ze(E)/R32 mixtures was studied by ReaxFF-MD simulations and DFT calculation.The experimental results indicated that the pyrolysis temperature range is 230℃-250℃ for R1234ze(E),270℃-290℃ for R32 and 230℃-250℃ for R1234ze(E)/R32 mixtures.The cleavage of C-H,C-C bond is the main decomposition pathway of pure R32,R1234ze(E),respectively.The decomposition rate of R32 is significantly slower than that of R1234ze(E).In the mixture R1234ze(E)/R32,R1234ze(E)can significantly promote the decomposition of R32,while R32 has a slight inhibitory effect on the decomposition of R1234ze(E).The CF3 radicals generated by the decomposition of R1234ze(E)significantly reduced the energy barrier of R32 decomposition and promoted the decomposition rate of R32.The H and F radical in the system is more inclined to react with R32 than R1234ze(E)due to their lower energy barrier.The increase of the pressure and mass ratio of R1234ze(E)in the mixture system has a great promoting effect on the pyrolysis of the mixtures. | LIU Jinyu LIU Yu LIU Chao XIN Liyong YU Wei | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,4: | 0 |
