1In vitro differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells into neuronal-like cells显示文摘Adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells were co-cultured with untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells, or grown in supernatant derived from untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Analysis by western blot and quantitative real-time PCR showed that protein levels of Nanog, Oct4, and Sox2, and mRNA levels of miR/125a/3p were decreased, while expression of insulin-like growth factor-2 and neuron specific enolase was increased. In comparison, the generation of neuron specific enolase-positive cells was most successful when adipose-derived stem cells were co-cultured with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Our results demonstrate that adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells exhibit trends of neuronal-like cell differentiation after co-culture with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. 3Selective oxidation of cyclopentene with H2O2 by using H3PW12O40 and TBAB as a phase transfer catalyst显示文摘The selective oxidation of cyclopentene by aqueous H2O2 using H3PW12O40 and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide(TBAB) as a phase transfer catalyst has been investigated. The results show that the presence of TBAB significantly improved the oxidation selectivity of cyclopentene. The effects of the reaction conditions on the conversion of cyclopentene were investigated in detail. The optimal reaction conditions are as follows: the H3PW12O40 to TBAB molar ratio, 1:1–1:3;H3PW12O40 to cyclopentene molar ratio,0.54:100–0.64:100;and molar ratio of H2O2 to cyclopentene, 1.6:1. The conversion reached to 59.8% in 4h at 35.0 ℃, while the selectivity of glutaraldehyde was 38.0% and the selectivity of 1,2-cyclopentanediol was 55.6%. 4Neuronal differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells and their transplantation for cerebral ischemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To review published data on the biological characteristics,differentiation and applications of adipose-derived stem cells in ischemic diseases.DATA RETRIEVAL:A computer-based online search of reports published from January 2005 to June 2012 related to the development of adipose-derived stem cells and their transplantation for treatment of cerebral ischemia was performed in Web of Science using the key words 'adipose-derived stem cells','neural-like cells','transplantation','stroke',and 'cerebral ischemia'.SELECTION CRITERIA:The documents associated with the development of adipose-derived stem cells and their transplantation for treatment of cerebral ischemia were selected,and those published in the last 3-5 years or in authoritative journals were preferred in the same field.Totally 89 articles were obtained in the initial retrieval,of which 53 were chosen based on the inclusion criteria.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Biological characteristics and induced differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells and cell transplantation for disease treatment as well as the underlying mechanism of clinical application.RESULTS:The advantages of adipose-derived stem cells include their ease of procurement,wide availability,rapid expansion,low tumorigenesis,low immunogenicity,and absence of ethical constraints.Preclinical experiments have demonstrated that transplanted adipose-derived stem cells can improve neurological functions,reduce small regions of cerebral infarction,promote angiogenesis,and express neuron-specific markers.The improvement of neurological functions was demonstrated in experiments using different methods and time courses of adipose-derived stem cell transplantation,but the mechanisms remain unclear.CONCLUSION:Further research into the treatment of ischemic disease by adipose-derived stem cell transplantation is needed to determine their mechanism of action.Guoping Tian Jin Zhou Jing'e Wang Bing Xu Li Li Feng Zhu Jian Han Jianping Li Siyang Zhang Xiaoguang Luo 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,25:2
5Process simulation and energy integration in the mineral carbonation of blast furnace slag显示文摘Large quantities of blast furnace(BF) slag and CO_2 are discharged annually from iron and steel industries, along with a large amount of waste heat.The mineral carbonation of BF slag can not only reduce emissions of solid waste but also realize the in-situ fixation of CO_2 with low energy consumption if integrated with the waste heat utilization.In this study, based on our previous works, Aspen Plus was employed to simulate and optimize the carbonation process and integrate the process energy.The effects of gehlenite extraction, MgSO_4 carbonation,and aluminum ammonium sulfate crystallization were studied systematically.The simulation results demonstrate that 2.57 kg of BF slag can sequester 1 kg of CO_2, requiring 5.34 MJ of energy(3.3 MJ heat and 2.04 MJ electricity), and this energy includes the capture of CO_2 from industrial flue gases.Approximately 60 kg net CO_2 emission reduction could be achieved for the disposal of one ton of BF slag.In addition, the by-product,aluminum ammonium sulfate, is a high value-added product.Preliminary economic analysis indicates that the profit for the whole process is 1127 CNY per ton of BF slag processed.Jianqiu Gao Chun Li Weizao Liu Jinpeng Hu Lin Wang Qiang Liu Bin Liang Hairong Yue Guoquan Zhang Dongmei Luo Siyang Tang 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:2
6Roles of the fibroblast growth factor signal transduction system in tissue injury repair显示文摘Following injury,tissue autonomously initiates a complex repair process,resulting in either partial recovery or regeneration of tissue architecture and function in most organisms.Both the repair and regeneration processes are highly coordinated by a hierarchy of interplay among signal transduction pathways initiated by different growth factors,cytokines and other signaling molecules under normal conditions.However,under chronic traumatic or pathological conditions,the reparative or regenerative process of most tissues in different organs can lose control to different extents,leading to random,incomplete or even flawed cell and tissue reconstitution and thus often partial restoration of the original structure and function,accompanied by the development of fibrosis,scarring or even pathogenesis that could cause organ failure and death of the organism.Ample evidence suggests that the various combinatorial fibroblast growth factor(FGF)and receptor signal transduction systems play prominent roles in injury repair and the remodeling of adult tissues in addition to embryonic development and regulation of metabolic homeostasis.In this review,we attempt to provide a brief update on our current understanding of the roles,the underlying mechanisms and clinical application of FGFs in tissue injury repair.Keyang Chen Zhiheng Rao Siyang Dong Yajing Chen Xulan Wang Yongde Luo Fanghua Gong Xiaokun Li 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:1

10Two-stage cyclic ammonium sulfate roasting and leaching of extracting vanadium and titanium from vanadium slag显示文摘Compared with traditional sodium or calcification roasting process for vanadium extraction from raw vanadium slag(V-slag),ammonium sulfate(AS)roasting could reduce about 470℃ roasting temperature and avoid Cl_(2),HCl,sodium-containing waste-water and waste gypsum discharging.To reduce the amount of AS added in vanadium extraction process,an efficient AS two-stage cyclic roasting and acid leaching process was proposed.The result of TG analysis indicates V-slag could be decomposed in 275-380℃ using AS roasting process.Using 2.03:1 total mass ratio of AS to V-slag,90.86%V and 80.54%Ti could be extracted after 380℃ roasting for 30 min and 8%initial concentration of H_(2)SO_(4) leaching at 70℃ for 100 min.XRD analysis indicates V-containing spinel phase in the 1st stage leaching residue would be efficiently decomposed by the cyclic two-stage roasting and leaching process.Furthermore,the valence of V(Ⅲ)in raw V-slag was not changed after the 1st AS roasting stage,but a part of V(Ⅲ)in the 1st leaching residue was oxidized to V(V)after 2nd roasting process.Qing Lin Guoquan Zhang Kun Wang Dongmei Luo Siyang Tang Hairong Yue 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,7:1

12Neural variability fingerprint predicts individuals,information security violation intentions显示文摘As the weakest links in information security defense are the individuals in an organizations,it is important to understand their information security behaviors.In the current study,we tested whether the neural variability pattern could predict an individual's intention to engage in information security violations.Because cognitive neuroscience methods can provide a new perspective into psychological processes without common methodological biases or social desirability,we combined an adapted version of the information security paradigm(ISP)with functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)technology.While completing an adapted ISP task,participants underwent an fMRI scan.We adopted a machine learning method to build a neural variability predictive model.Consistent with previous studies,we found that people were more likely to take actions under neutral conditions than in minor violation contexts and major violation contexts.Moreover,the neural variability predictive model,including nodes within the task control,default mode,visual,salience and attention networks,can predict information security violation intentions.These results illustrate the predictive value of neural variability for information security violations and provide a new perspective for combining ISP with the fMRI technique to explore a neural predictive model of information security violation intention.Qin Duan Zhengchuan Xu Qing Hu Siyang Luo 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,2:0

14In situ enzyme immunoassays with tissue smears to study horizontal transmission of BMNV in penaeid shrimp and in beach animals显示文摘An enzyme immunoassay technique is developed for detecting the baculoviral midgut gland necrosis virus (BMNV) in penaeid shrimp and beach anieds. An antiserum was obtained from rabbits immunized with a BMNV preparation Purified from Penaeus japonicus. γ-globulin was isolated and labelled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This reagent was used to detect the virus in penaeid shrimp experimentally infected with the BMNV preparation, in cultured penaeid shrimp and in several beach animals. The technique is specific, simple and sensitive and can be developed into a practical method for the detection of penaeid shrimp viruses. Among 128 tissue samples from 11beach animals, 77 samples gave positive reactions with the enzyme-labelled immunoglobulin against BMNV from P.japonicus.
