1Transcriptional analysis and histochemistry reveal that hypersensitive cell death and H2O2 have crucial roles in the resistance of tea plant (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze) to anthracnose显示文摘Anthracnose causes severe losses of tea production in China.Although genes and biological processes involved in anthracnose resistance have been reported in other plants,the molecular response to anthracnose in tea plant is unknown.We used the susceptible tea cultivar Longjing 43 and the resistant cultivar Zhongcha 108 as materials and compared transcriptome changes in the leaves of both cultivars following Colletotrichum fructicola inoculation.In all,9015 and 8624 genes were differentially expressed between the resistant and susceptible cultivars and their controls(0 h),respectively.In both cultivars,the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were enriched in 215 pathways,including responses to sugar metabolism,phytohormones,reactive oxygen species(ROS),biotic stimuli and signalling,transmembrane transporter activity,protease activity and signalling receptor activity,but DEG expression levels were higher in Zhongcha 108 than in Longjing 43.Moreover,functional enrichment analysis of the DEGs showed that hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)metabolism,cell death,secondary metabolism,and carbohydrate metabolism are involved in the defence of Zhongcha 108,and 88 key genes were identified.Protein–protein interaction(PPI)network demonstrated that putative mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascades are activated by resistance(R)genes and mediate downstream defence responses.Histochemical analysis subsequently validated the strong hypersensitive response(HR)and H2O2 accumulation that occurred around the hyphal infection sites in Zhongcha 108.Overall,our results indicate that the HR and H2O2 are critical mechanisms in tea plant defence against anthracnose and may be activated by R genes via MAPK cascades.Yuchun Wang Xinyuan Hao Qinhua Lu Lu Wang Wenjun Qian Nana Li Changqing Ding Xinchao Wang Yajun Yang 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:11
2Halide Homogenization for High-Performance Blue Perovskite Electroluminescence显示文摘Metal halide perovskite light-emitting diodes(LEDs)have achieved great progress in recent years.However,bright and spectrally stable blue perovskite LED remains a significant challenge.Three-dimensional mixed-halide perovskites have potential to achieve high brightness electroluminescence,but their emission spectra are unstable as a result of halide phase separation.Here,we reveal that there is already heterogeneous distribution of halides in the as-deposited perovskite films,which can trace back to the nonuniform mixture of halides in the precursors.By simply introducing cationic surfactants to improve the homogeneity of the halides in the precursor solution,we can overcome the phase segregation issue and obtain spectrally stable single-phase blueemitting perovskites.We demonstrate efficient blue perovskite LEDs with high brightness,e.g.,luminous efficacy of 4.7,2.9,and 0.4 lmW^(-1) and luminance of over 37,000,9,300,and 1,300 cdm^(-2) for sky blue,blue,and deep blue with Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.068,0.268),(0.091,0.165),and(0.129,0.061),respectively,suggesting real promise of perovskites for LED applications.Lu Cheng Chang Yi Yunfang Tong Lin Zhu Gunnar Kusch Xiaoyu Wang Xinjiang Wang Tao Jiang Hao Zhang Ju Zhang Chen Xue Hong Chen Wenjie Xu Dawei Liu Rachel AOliver Richard HFriend Lijun Zhang Nana Wang Wei Huang Jianpu Wang 2020Research2020,,1:4

4Timing of formation of the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,Henan Province,China:Evidence from Rb-Sr isotopic dating of sphalerites显示文摘The Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,located in the southwestern part of the Luanchuan Mo-W-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic ore mineralization in Henan Province,China,is an important part of the East Qinling metallogenic belt.The orebodies in the deposit,which are vein,bedded and lenticular,are mainly hosted in the syenite porphyry,and formed within the carbonate and clastic rocks of the Yuku and Qiumugou formations partially.The genesis of the deposit has previously been argued to be of hydrothermal-vein type or of skarn-hydrothermal type.In this study,we report the results of Rb-Sr isotopic dating based on sphalerites from the main orebody of the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit,which yield an isochron age of 135.7 ± 3.2 Ma,constraining the timing of mineralization as early Cretaceous.The age is close to those reported for the Pb-Zn deposits in the Luanchuan ore belt.The(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr),values of the sphalerites(0.71127 + 0.00010) are lower than that of terrigenous silicates(0.720) and higher than the mantle(0.707),suggesting that the metallogenic components were mainly derived through crust-mantle mixing.Combining the results from this study with those from previous work,we propose that the Hongdonggou Pb-Zn polymetallic ore deposit is a hydrothermal-vein deposit associated with the early Cretaceous tectonothermal event,and the mineralization is controlled by NWand near EW-trending faults in the Luanchuan Mo-W-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic ore concentration belt.Fan Yang Gongwen Wang Huawen Cao Ruixi Li Li Tang Yufeng Huang Hao Zhang Fei Xue Wenjuan Jia Nana Guo 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,3:2
5Source apportionment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in a sediment core from Lake Dagze Co, Tibetan Plateau, China: Comparison of three receptor models显示文摘Receptor models are a useful tool for identifying sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in multiple environmental media. In this study, three different receptor models(including the principal component analysis-multiple linear regression(PCA-MLR), positive matrix factorization(PMF), and Unmix models) were used to apportion the sources of 16 priority PAHs in a sediment core of Lake Dagze Co. The ΣPAHs(sum of all 16 measured PAHs) concentrations ranged from 51.89 to 132.82 ng/g with an average of 80.39 ng/g. TheΣ PAHs were dominated by 2-3 ring PAHs, accounting for 80.12% on average, thereby indicating that they mainly originated from biomass and coal combustion and/or from long-range atmospheric transportation. The three models produced consistent source apportionment results. The greatest contributor to ΣPAHs was biomass combustion, followed by coal combustion, vehicle emissions, and petrogenic sources. Moreover, the temporal variation of the common sources was well-correlated among models. The multi-method comparison and evaluation results showed that all three models were useful tools for source apportionment of PAHs, with the PMF model providing better results than the PCA-MLR and Unmix models. The temporal trends of factor contributions were verified by PAHs with different ring numbers. Significant correlations were found between the simulated concentrations of each source factor and the PAHs with different ring numbers(P<0.01), except for the petrogenic source identified by the Unmix model(P>0.05). 7Remote Sensing-based Spatiotemporal Distribution of Grassland Aboveground Biomass and Its Response to Climate Change in the Hindu Kush Himalayan Region显示文摘The grassland in the Hindu Kush Himalayan(HKH) region is one of the large st and most biodiverse mountain grassland types in the world,and its ecosystem service functions have profound impacts on the sustainable development of the HKH region.Monitoring the spatiotemporal distribution of grassland aboveground biomass(AGB) accurately and quantifying its response to climate change are indispensable sources of information for sustainably managing grassland ecosystems in the HKH region.In this study,a pure vegetation index model(PVIM) was applied to estimate the long-term dynamics of grassland AGB in the HKH region during 2000-2018.We further quantified the response of grassland AGB to climate change(temperature and precipitation) by partial correlation and variance partitioning analyses and then compared their differences with elevation.Our results demonstrated that the grassland AGB predicted by the PVIM had a good linear relationship with the ground sampling data.The grassland AGB distribution pattern showed a decreasing trend from east to west across the HKH region except in the southern Himalayas.From 2000 to 2018,the mean AGB of the HKH region increased at a rate of 1.57 g/(m~2·yr) and ranged from 252.9(2000) to 307.8 g/m~2(2018).AGB had a positive correlation with precipitation in more than 80% of the grassland,and temperature was positively correlated with AGB in approximately half of the region.The change in grassland AGB was more responsive to the cumulative effect of annual precipitation,while it was more sensitive to the change in temperature in the growing season;in addition,the influence of climate varied at different elevations.Moreover,compared with that of temperature,the contribution of precipitation to grassland AGB change was greater in approximately 60% of the grassland,but the differences in the contribution for each climate factor were small between the two temporal scales at elevations over 2000 m.An accurate assessment of the temporal and spatial distributions of grassland AGB and the quantification of its response to climate change are of great significance for grassland management and sustainable development in the HKH region.XU Cong LIU Wenjun ZHAO Dan HAO Yanbin XIA Anquan YAN Nana ZENG Yuan 2022Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,5:1

9Multiple-quantum-well perovskite for hole-transport-layer-free light-emitting diodes显示文摘We demonstrate hole-transport-layer-free light-emitting diodes(LEDs) based on solution-processed multiple-quantum-well(MQW) perovskite. The MQW perovskite can self-assemble to a unique structure of vertically graded distribution with two-dimensional layered perovskite covered by three-dimensionallike perovskite at top, which can naturally form a barrier of electron transporting to the anode interface,thereby enhancing the charge capture efficiency. 10Tuning crystal orientation and charge transport of quasi-2D perovskites via halogen-substituted benzylammonium for efficient solar cells显示文摘Quasi-two-dimensional(quasi-2D)perovskites with high stability usually suffers from poor device efficiency.Chemical tuning of the spacer cations has been an effective strategy to achieve efficient and stable quasi-2D perovskite solar cells.Here,we demonstrate that 3-halogon-substituted benzylammonium iodide(3X-BAI,X=F,Cl,Br,I)can significantly affect the orientation of low-dimensional perovskites and charge transport from perovskite to hole extraction layer,as well as device performance.With 3Br-BAI,we achieve the highest device efficiency of 13.21%for quasi-2D perovskites with a nominal n=3 average composition.Our work provides a facile approach to regulate vertical crystal orientation and charge transport via tuning the molecular structure of organic spacer toward high performance quasi-2D perovskite solar cells.Guiqiang Cheng Jian Wang Rong Yang Cheng Li Hao Zhang Nana Wang Renzhi Li Jianpu Wang Wei Huang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:1
11Effects of Dispersive Agent and Alumina Micropowder on Workability of Al_2O_3-MgO Castables for Steel Ladles显示文摘This work aims at enhancing the workability of Al2 O3-Mg O castables. Al2 O3-Mg O castables were prepared using tabular alumina particles( 5-3,3-1,≤1 mm),tabular alumina fines( ≤0. 088 mm),fused magnesia( ≤1 mm),reactive alumina micropowder( PFR40,PBR,and CL) and calcined alumina micropowder( AC34 B5 and CT) as the main starting materials,calcium aluminate cement( Secar71) as the binder,and polycarboxylic acid water reducer WS,FS,and AD as the dispersive agent,respectively. Effects of three dispersive agents addition( 0. 4 mass% WS,0. 2 mass% FS and 1 mass% AD),two kinds of reactive alumina micropowder addition( PFR40 and PBR),composite alumina micropowder addition( PFR40-AC34 B5 and CL-CT,the mass ratio from 9/0 to 3/6)on the flow value,apparent porosity,bulk density,cold crushing strength and cold modulus of rupture of Al2 O3-MgO castables were investigated. 16Versatile functionalization of amylopectin for effective biomedical applications显示文摘Successful gene vectors should be with high transfection efficiency and minimal cytotoxicity. Natural polysaccharides, due to their good biocompatibility and biodegradability, have been widely studied and applied. Amylopectin is one of polysaccharides with dendritic structure and numerous hydroxyl groups that could be used for subsequent modification. In this work, a series of dendritic cationic gene vectors comprising amylopectin backbones and poly(2-(dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate)(PDMAEMA) side chains with different lengths(termed as AMY-PDs) were readily prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP). The gene condensation ability, cytotoxicity and gene transfection of AMY-PDs carriers were investigated. In comparison with 'gold-standard' poly(ethyleneimine)(PEI, 25 k Da), the AMY-PDs exhibited higher transfection efficiency with lower cytotoxicity. AMY-PDs could be further modified with Au nanoparticles(termed as AMY-PD@Au). The potential of the AMY-PD@Au vectors to be utilized as a CT contrast agent for imaging of cancer cells was investigated. 17Atomically Dispersed Fe on Nanosheet-linked, Defect-rich, Highly N-Doped 3D Porous Carbon for Efficient Oxygen Reduction显示文摘Exploring cost-effective and high-performance oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts to replace precious platinum-based materials is crucial for developing electrochemic al energy conversion devices but remains a great challenge.Herein,Fe single atoms anchored on nanosheet-linked,defect-rich,highly N-doped 3D porous carbon(Fe-SAs/NLPC)electrocatalysts wer obtained by pyrolyzing saltsealed Fe-doped zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs).NaCl functions both as pore-forming agent and closed nanoreactor,which can not only lead to the formation of defects-rich three-dimensional interconnected structures with high N-doping content to expose abundant active sites,promote mass transfer and electron transfer,but also facilitate the effective incorporation of Fe to form Fe-N,active sites without aggregation.These unique characteristics render Fe-SAs/NLPC outstanding electrocatalytic activity for ORR,with one-set potential of 0.96V and high kinetic current density(jK)of 33.32mA/cm^2 in alkaline medium,which surpass the values of most nonprecious-metal catalysts and even commercial Pt/C.WANG Yuqing TAO Li CHEN Ru LI Hao SU Hui ZHANG Nana LIU Qinghua WANG Shuangyin 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,3:0
18Nuclear translocation of OsMADS25 facilitated by OsNAR2.1 in reponse to nitrate signals promotes rice root growth by targeting OsMADS27 and OsARF7显示文摘Nitrate is an important nitrogen source and signaling molecule that regulates plant growth and development.Although several components of the nitrate signaling pathway have been identified,the detailed mechanisms are still unclear.Our previous results showed that OsMADS25 can regulate root development in response to nitrate signals,but the mechanism is still unknown.Here,we try to answer two key questions:how does OsMADS25 move from the cytoplasm to the nucleus,and what are the direct target genes activated by OsMADS25 to regulate root growth after it moves to the nucleus in response to nitrate?Our results demonstrated that OsMADS25 moves from the cytoplasm to the nucleus in the presence of nitrate in an OsNAR2.1-dependentmanner.Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing,chromatin immunoprecipitation qPCR,yeast one-hybrid,and luciferase experiments showed that OsMADS25 directly activates the expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7,which are reported to be associated with root growth.Finally,OsMADS25-RNAi lines,the Osnar2.1 mutant,and OsMADS25-RNAi Osnar2.1 lines exhibited significantly reduced root growth compared with the wild type in response to nitrate supply,and expression of OsMADS27 and OsARF7 was significantly suppressed in these lines.Collectively,these results reveal a new mechanismby which OsMADS25 interacts with OsNAR2.1.This interaction is required for nuclear accumulation of OsMADS25,which promotes OsMADS27 and OsARF7 expression and root growth in a nitratedependent manner.Junyu Wu Shuaiqi Yang Nana Chen Qining Jiang Linli Huang Jiaxuan Qi Guohua Xu Lisha Shen Hao Yu Xiaorong Fan Yinbo Gan 2023Plant Communications2023,4,6:0
