2Dual-polarization programmable metasurface modulator for near-field information encoding and transmission显示文摘Controlling the polarization state of electromagnetic waves is an important topic in microwaves due to the enormous application potential in radar technology and mobile communications. Here, we propose a programmable metasurface based on single-pole double-throw switches to realize multifunctional polarization conversions.A structure of the double-sided metallic pattern is adopted in the metasurface, in which a novel double-pole double-throw hub is achieved to guide the energy direction. Such a mechanism successfully induces multiple transmission channels into the metasurface structure for functional design. By controlling the states of the switches with a field programmable gate array, the x-and y-polarizations of the incident waves can be efficiently modulated into linear co-and cross-polarizations of transmitted waves, suggesting a higher degree of freedom on wave manipulations. The proposed metasurface can be developed as a near-field information encoder to transmit binary coding sequence according to the energy distribution. Character transmissions are realized by programming binary ASCII codes on the transmitted fields. Nine supercells on the metasurface can encode 9-bit binary information in one frame of near-field imaging, which can be switched in real time with high speed. 4Synthesis and properties of nickel borate acylate as a new rubber-steel cord adhesion promoter显示文摘The synthetic method of nickel borate acylate (NBA), a kind of rubber steel cord adhesion promoter (AP), through nickel carbonate, borate and mixed carboxylic acid was studied. The preparation of nickel carbonate could be performed through reaction of nickel sulfate with sodium carbonate in aqueous solution, in which fractional conversion of nickel was more than 99.9%. The mixed nickel carboxylate was prepared by the reaction of nickel carbonate with isooctanoic acid and acetic acid, under strong stirring for 2 h, the mole ratio of these chemicals were 1∶1∶1.1 respectively, and water should be removed completely by adding of inert organic solvent after reaction was finished so as to avoid hydrolysis of tributyl borate in the second reaction. NBA was synthesized by reaction of mixed nickel carboxylate with tributyl borate under strong stirring at 200 250 ℃ for 6 h. By detection and comparison with 680C product from Manobond Company of England, the NBA synthesized through isooctanoic acid and tributyl borate was very similar to product 680C in IR data, 300% fixed extension strength, tensile strength, hardness and cure curve, and was slightly lower than those of product 680C in tensile failure extensibility and hot air aging. 5UAV Laser scanning technology:a potential cost-effective tool for micro-topography detection over wooded areas for archaeological prospection显示文摘Airborne laser scanning(ALS)has recently been identified as a potential tool in topographic mapping for archaeological prospection.However,most existing applications in this field refers to manned ALS systems,for which the high operation and maintenance costs limits its application in small-scale archaeological investigation.In this paper,we conducted an exploratory study on the application of the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)laser scanning(ULS)system in ancient micro-topography detection over wooded areas.Compared with manned ALS technology,we analyzed the advantages and potentials of ULS technology for archaeological applications.Then we outlined existing mainstream survey-grade UAV-based laser scanners,data processing and visualization approaches.Furthermore,we performed case studies in three cultural heritage sites in Zhejiang Province,China using two representative mainstream survey-grade ULS systems.Results were then verified by an in-site investigation.Finally,the correct selection of ULS devices,the planning of data acquisition missions and the use of appropriate data processing methods specifically for archaeological prospection were discussed.This paper provides a cost-effective and flexible solution for micro-topography detection in wooded areas.ULS technology,as demonstrated here,can be an important supplement to existing archaeological investigation methods,particularly for small-scale areas,and has promising prospects in archaeological applications.Wei Zhou Fulong Chen Huadong Guo Mingyuan Hu Qi Li Panpan Tang Wenwu Zheng Jian’an Liu Rupeng Luo Kaikai Yan Ru Li Pilong Shi Sheng Nie 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,11:1

10Efficacy of Moxifloxacin against Mycobacterium abscessus in Zebrafish Model in vivo显示文摘Objective Moxifloxacin(MFX)shows good in vitro activity against Mycobacterium abscessus and can be a possible antibiotic therapy to treat M.abscessus infection;however,other studies have shown a lower or no activity.We aimed to evaluate MFX activity against M.abscessus using zebrafish(ZF)model in vivo.Methods A formulation of M.abscessus labeled with CM-Dil was micro-injected into ZF.Survival curves were determined by recording dead ZF every day.ZF were lysed,and colony-forming units(CFUs)were enumerated.Bacteria dissemination and fluorescence intensity in ZF were analyzed.Inhibition rates of MFX and azithromycin(AZM,positive control)were determined and compared.Results Significantly increased survival rate was observed with different AZM concentrations.However,increasing MFX concentration did not result in a significant decrease in ZF survival curve.No significant differences in bacterial burdens by CFU loads were observed between AZM and MFX groups at various concentrations.Bacterial fluorescence intensity in ZF was significantly correlated with AZM concentration.However,with increasing MFX concentration,fluorescence intensity decreased slightly when observed under fluorescence microscope.Transferring rates at various concentrations were comparable between the MFX and AZM groups,with no significant difference.Conclusion MFX showed limited efficacy against M.abscessus in vivo using ZF model.Its activity in vivo needs to be confirmed.NIE Wen Juan XIE Zhong Yao GAO Shan TENG Tian Lu ZHOU Wen Qiang SHANG Yuan Yuan JING Wei SHI Wen Hui WANG Qing Feng HUANG Xue Rui CAI Bao Yun WANG Jun WANG Jing GUO Ru GE Qi Ping NIE Li Hui HAN Xi Qin DU Ya Dong CHU Nai Hui 2020Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,5:1

12x-ray Crystal Structure of a Dinuclear Zinc(Ⅱ) Complex with Unusual Two Monodentate O-coordination of Carboxylate Group of Isonicotinate显示文摘Reaction of Zn(ClO4)2·6H2O with septadentate 2,6-bis[bis(2-benzimidazolylme-thyl)amino methyl]-4-methylphenol (Hbbap) and sodium isonicotinate yielded a dinuclear zinc complex[Zn2(bbap) (Iso) (Hiso)] (ClO4)2·[Zn2 (bbap) (Iso) (H2O)] (ClO4)2·4H2O(1a·1b·4H2O). Hiso isisonicotinic acid and Iso is isonicotinate anion. The structure has been established by X-raycrystallography and shows that the two zinc ions are bridged by the phenoxy unit of bbap- ligand,and the presence of unusual monodentate O-coordination of carboxylate group from isonicotinicacid. 13Effects of Different Water and Fertilizer Combinations on Tree Structure,Leaf Parameters and Photosynthesis of Apple Saplings显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the effects of different water and fertilizer combinations on apple saplings. [Method]‘Tianhong 2'Fuji/ SH40 / Malus robusta Rehd. was used as the experimental material to analyze the effects of different irrigation modes and combinations of basal fertilizer and dressing fertilizer on tree structure,leaf parameters and photosynthesis of apple saplings. [Result]The results showed that different water and fertilizer combinations exhibited varying effects on tree structure,leaf parameters and photosynthesis of apple saplings. To be specific,applying 432 000 kg / hm2 basal fertilizer,480 kg / hm2 urea and 915 kg / hm2 organic fertilizer + 0 + 915 kg / hm2 organic fertilizer as dressing fertilizer,and 1% urea as leaf fertilizer was conducive to promoting growth of branches and leaves,increasing leaf thickness,individual leaf area and SPAD,and improving photosynthesis of apple saplings under half root irrigation and whole root irrigation conditions. In addition,the effects were more significant under whole root irrigation conditions. 14Effects of Different Density-reducing Methods on Canopy Microenvironment, Tree Growth and Fruit Quality in Closed Apple Orchard显示文摘In order to optimize and transform closed mature apple orchards with standard rootstocks and improve the quality of fruit,taking a closed Red Fuji apple orchard as the test object,the effects of different density-reducing methods(deinterlacing,removing every other plant in each row,removing every other plant every other row)on the canopy microenvironment,tree structure,leaf photosynthesis and fruit quality were studied.The results showed that different density-reducing methods significantly reduced the orchard coverage and increased the crown transmittance.Among them,the deinterlacing treatment was the best in improving the population structure of the closed orchard,as it reduced the orchard coverage rate by 55.68 percentage points and the canopy transmittance by 82.38 percentage points,compared with the control(CK).Different density-reducing methods all could significantly reduce the branch amount in the closed orchard and optimized the branch composition.The three density-reducing methods decreased the number of branches per plant by 18.96%,12.41%and 19.58%,respectively,compared with the CK.And compared with the CK,the proportion of short branches and leafy branches to the total branches was increased by 17.13%,14.27%and 7.37%,respectively,and the proportion of long branches and developmental branches to the total branches was decreased by 24.47%,18.04%and 10.79%,respectively.The effects of the different density-reducing methods on the temperature,relative light intensity,SPAD and leaf photosynthetic rate in canopies all followed an order of deinterlacing>removing every other plant in each row>removing every other plant every other row>CK,while those on the relative humidity showed an order of deinterlacing>removing every other plant in each row>removing every other plant every other row>CK,while those on the relative humidity showed an order of deinterlacingRu CHEN Xiaomin XUE Laiping WANG Hao ZHAI Peixian NIE Jinzheng WANG 2019Agricultural Biotechnology2019,8,6:0
15Carbon Monoxide Releasing Molecule Accelerates Reendothelialization after Carotid Artery Balloon Injury in Rat显示文摘Objective This study was aimed to investigate the effects of carbon monoxide releasing molecule(CORM-2), a novel carbon monoxide carrier, on the reendothelialization of carotid artery in rat endothelial denudation model. Methods Male rats subjected to carotid artery balloon injury were treated with CORM-2, inactive CORM-2(i CORM-2) or dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO). The reendothelialization capacity was evaluated by Evans Blue dye and the immunostaining with anti-CD31 antibody. The number of circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) was detected by flow cytometry. The proliferation, migration, and adhesion of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were assessed by using [3H]thymidine, Boyden chamber and human fibronectin respectively. The expressions of protein were detected by using western blot analysis. Results CORM-2 remarkably accelerated the re-endothelialization 5 d later and inhibited neointima formation 28 d later. In addition, the number of peripheral EPCs significantly increased in CORM-2-treated rats than that in i CORM-2 or DMSO-treated rats after 5 d later. In vitro experiments, CORM-2 significantly enhanced the proliferation, migration and adhesion of HUVECs. The levels of Akt, e NOS phosphorylation, and NO generation in HUVECs were also much higher in CORM-2 treated group. Blocking of PI3K/Akt/e NOS signaling pathway markedly suppressed the enhanced migration and adhesion of HUVECs induced by CORM-2.
