1Rocky Desertification Risk Zone Delineation in Karst Plateau Area:A Case Study in Puding County,Guizhou Province显示文摘Karst rocky desertification is a geo-ecological problem in Southwest China.The rocky desertification risk zone delineation could be used as a guide for the regional and hierarchical rocky desertification management and prevention.We chose the middle and lower reaches of the Houzhai underground basin on the karst plateau in Puding County, Guizhou Province, China as the study area and selected land use type, elevation, slope, aspect, lithology and settlement buffer as the main driving factors of the rocky desertification.The potential risk of rocky desertification was quantified with the factor-weights union method and statistical analysis method.Five grades of rocky desertification risk were delineated based on Geographic Information System.The extremely low, low, moderate, high and extremely high rocky desertification risk zones accounted for 5.01%, 44.17%, 33.92%, 15.59% and 1.30%, respectively.As a whole, the rocky desertification risk level was moderate because the area of low and moderate rocky desertification risk zones occupied 78.09% of the study area.However, more than half of the area(about 50.81%) was predicted to have moderate rocky desertification risk and above, indicating that the study area was subject to rocky desertification.Rocky desertification risk was higher in the southeast and lower in the northwest of the study area.Distinct differences in the distribution of rocky desertification risk zones corresponding to different factors have been found.ZHANG Panpan HU Yuanman XIAO Duning LI Xiuzhen YIN Jie HE Hong S 2010Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,1:15
2Broken Rotor Bar Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors Using a Hybrid Bare-bones Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm显示文摘在传统定子电流频谱分析中,感应电机转子断条故障特征经常被基波分量淹没而无法准确检测。针对该问题,提出一种基于混合骨干微粒群优化算法的转子断条故障诊断新方法。该方法首先根据电流信号与单位余弦基函数的内积最大准则,利用混合骨干微粒群算法强大的全局搜索能力,准确估计出基波波形参数;然后利用波形参数构造出基波表达式,并将其从原电流信号中剔除,达到突出故障特征的目的。针对微粒群算法在进化后期收敛缓慢的缺点,通过K–均值聚类方式,引入单纯形法对其进行改进,使整个算法的广度探索与深度开发能力得到了有效均衡。最后,对模拟数据和实测信号进行实验,结果验证了所提方法的有效性和优越性。WANG Panpan SHI Liping ZHANG Yong HAN Li 2012中国电机工程学报2012,32,30:10
3Purification and Characterization of a New Thermostable κ-CarrageenasefromtheMarineBacterium Pseudoalteromonas sp. QY203显示文摘A new extracellular κ-carrageenase, namely CgkP, 34.0 kDa in molecular weight, was purified from Pseudoalteromonas sp. QY203. CgkP showed relatively high activity at acidities ranging from pH6.0 to pH9.0 and temperatures ranging from 30℃ to 50℃ with the highest activity at 45℃ and pH7.2. Sodium chloride increased its activity markedly, and KCl increased its activity slightly. The divalent and trivalent metal ions including Cu2+ , Ni2+ , Zn2+ , Mn2+ , Al3+ and Fe3+ significantly inhibited its activity, while Mg2+ did not. CgkP remained 70% of original activity after being incubated at 40℃ for 48 h, and remained 80% of the activity after being incubated at 45℃ for 1 h. It exhibited endo-κ-carrageenase activity, mainly depolymerizing the κ-carrageenan into disaccharide and tetrasaccharide. 4Association of cystatin C level and cardiovascular prognosis for patients with preexisting coronary heart disease:a meta-analysis显示文摘The association of circulating levels of cystatin C(CysC)and risk of recurrent cardiovascular events in patients with preexisting coronary heart disease are uncertain.To qualitatively and quantitatively address this issue,we performed a random meta-analysis of results from prospective studies on the topic.We searched electronic and printed sources(up to 16 October 2011)using keywords and retrieved articles for seven prospective studies according to the selection criteria.Data were abstracted and meta-analysis was performed using the random-effects model(RevMan 5.0.23 software).The cohorts involved 4,576 patients with preexisting coronary heart disease(CHD)and normal or mild chronic kidney disease,and follow-up ranged from 5.6 to 40.6 months.Highest versus lowest baseline CysC level was significantly associated with increased risk of cardiovascular events(OR 2.30,95%CI 1.80–2.94),all-cause mortality(OR 5.69,95%CI 3.70–8.74),but not with recurrent MI(OR 1.75,95%CI 0.77–4.00).In heterogeneity testing for studies reporting cardiovascular events and all-cause mortality,no significant heterogeneity was found,and exclusion of any single study did not alter the overall finding.For risk of recurrent MI,significant heterogeneity was found among the five trials(v2=13.16,P=0.01,I2=70%)and exclusion of the Taglieri et al.[12]study from the analysis resulted in a rise in relative risk(OR 2.36,95%CI 1.09–5.15).In conclusion,for patients with established CHD,high baseline level of CysC is associated with increased risk of cardiovascular events and all-cause death during long-term follow-up.Ruijian Li Panpan Hao Yuguo Chen Yun Zhang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,5:8
5Inactivation of SACE_3446, a TetR family transcriptional regulator, stimulates erythromycin production in Saccharopolyspora erythraea显示文摘Erythromycin A is a widely used antibiotic produced by Saccharopolyspora erythraea;however,its biosynthetic cluster lacks a regulatory gene,limiting the yield enhancement via regulation engineering of S.erythraea.Herein,six TetR family transcriptional regulators(TFRs)belonging to three genomic context types were individually inactivated in S.erythraea A226,and one of them,SACE_3446,was proved to play a negative role in regulating erythromycin biosynthesis.EMSA and qRT-PCR analysis revealed that SACE_3446 covering intact N-terminal DNA binding domain specifically bound to the promoter regions of erythromycin biosynthetic gene eryAI,the resistant gene ermE and the adjacent gene SACE_3447(encoding a longchain fatty-acid CoA ligase),and repressed their transcription.Furthermore,we explored the interaction relationships of SACE_3446 and previously identified TFRs(SACE_3986 and SACE_7301)associated with erythromycin production.Given demonstrated relatively independent regulation mode of SACE_3446 and SACE_3986 in erythromycin biosynthesis,we individually and concomitantly inactivated them in an industrial S.erythraea WB.Compared with WB,the WBΔ3446 and WBΔ3446Δ3986 mutants respectively displayed 36%and 65%yield enhancement of erythromycin A,following significantly elevated transcription of eryAI and ermE.When cultured in a 5 L fermentor,erythromycin A ofWBΔ3446 and WBΔ3446Δ3986 successively reached 4095 mg/L and 4670 mg/L with 23%and 41%production improvement relative to WB.The strategy reported here will be useful to improve antibiotics production in other industrial actinomycete.Hang Wu Yansheng Wang Li Yuan Yongrong Mao Weiwei Wang Lin Zhu Panpan Wu Chengzhang Fu Rolf Muller David T.Weaver Lixin Zhang Buchang Zhang 2016Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2016,1,1:7

7Combination of anti-PD-1 antibody with P-GEMOX as a potentially effective immunochemotherapy for advanced natural killer/T cell lymphoma显示文摘Advanced natural killer/T cell lymphoma(NKTL)has demonstrated poor prognosis with currently available therapies.Here,we report the efficacy of anti-programmed death 1(PD-1)antibody with the P-GEMOX(pegaspargase,gemcitabine,and oxaliplatin)regimen in advanced NKTL.Nine patients underwent six 21-day cycles of anti-PD-1 antibody(day 1),pegaspargase 2000 U/m^(2)(day 1),gemcitabine 1 g/m^(2)(days 1 and 8)and oxaliplatin 130 mg/m^(2)(day 1),followed by anti-PD-1 antibody maintenance every 3 weeks.Programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)expression and genetic alterations were determined in paraffin-embedded pretreatment tissue samples using immunohistochemistry and next-generation sequencing(NGS)analysis.Responses were assessed using 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography(18FDG-PET)and computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.Eight patients exhibited significant responses,comprising of seven complete remissions and one partial remission(overall response rate:88.9%).After a median follow-up of 10.6 months,6/9 patients(66.7%)remained in complete remission.The most common grade 3/4 adverse events were anemia(33.3%),neutropenia(33.3%),and thrombocytopenia(33.3%);all of which were manageable and resolved.Immunochemotherapy produced a high response rate in patients with positive PD-L1 expression(5/6,83.3%).NGS analysis suggested that STAT3/JAK3/PD-L1 alterations and ARID1A mutation were associated with immunochemotherapy efficacy.Mutation in DDX3X and alteration in epigenetic modifiers of KMT2D,TET2,and BCORL1 might indicate a poor response to immunochemotherapy.In conclusion,the anti-PD-1 antibody plus P-GEMOX regimen demonstrated promising efficacy in advanced NKTL.PD-L1 expression combined with specific genetic alterations could be used as potential biomarkers to predict therapeutic responses to immunochemotherapy.Jun Cai Panpan Liu Huiqiang Huang Yajun Li Shuyun Ma Hui Zhou Xiaopeng Tian Yuchen Zhang Yan Gao Yi Xia Xuanye Zhang Hang Yang Lirong Li Qingqing Cai 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:6
8Characterization of 500 Chinese patients with cervical esophageal cancer by clinicopathological and treatment outcomes显示文摘Objective: There are no comprehensive studies on survival outcomes and optimal treatment protocols for cervical esophageal cancer(CEC), due to its rare clinical prevalence. Our objective was to determine the relationship between pathological characteristics, treatment protocols, and survival outcomes in Chinese CEC patients.Methods: A total of 500 Chinese CEC patients were selected from our 500,000 esophageal and gastric cardia carcinoma database(1973–2018). There were two main groups: patients treated with surgery, and patients receiving non-surgical treatments(radiotherapy, radiochemotherapy, and chemotherapy). The Chi-square test and Kaplan–Meier method were used to compare the continuous variables and survival.Results: Among the 500 CEC patients, 278(55.6%) were male, and the median age was 60.9 ± 9.4 years. A total of 496 patients(99.2%) were diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. In 171(34.2%) patients who received surgery, 22(12.9%) had undergone laryngectomy. In 322(64.4%) patients who received non-surgical treatments, 245(76.1%) received radiotherapy. Stratified survival analysis showed that only T stage was related with survival outcomes for CEC patients in the surgical group, and the outcomes between laryngectomy and non-laryngectomy patients were similar. It was noteworthy that the 5-year survival rate was similar in CEC patients among the different groups treated with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or radiochemotherapy(P = 0.244). Conclusions: The CEC patients had similar survival outcomes after curative esophagectomy and radiotherapy, including those with or without total laryngectomy. 11Mapping stripe rust resistance genes by BSR-Seq:YrMM58 and YrHY1 on chromosome 2AS in Chinese wheat lines Mengmai 58 and Huaiyang 1 are Yr17显示文摘Stripe rust(yellow rust), caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici(PST),is one of the most devastating fungal diseases in common wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) in China and worldwide. Resistance breeding is the most effective strategy to control diseases in crop plants. Chinese wheat lines Mengmai 58 and Huaiyang 1 are highly resistant to PST race CYR34(V26) at the adult plant stage. To genetically map the underlying resistance genes we developed segregating populations by crossing Mengmai 58 and Huaiyang 1 with the susceptible cultivar Nongda 399. The stripe rust resistances in Mengmai 58 and Huaiyang 1 were both controlled by single dominant genes, provisionally designated YrMM58 and YrHY1, respectively. Bulked segregant RNA-Seq(BSR-Seq) analysis showed that YrMM58 and YrHY1 were located in the same distal ~16 Mb region on chromosome 2 AS.Comparative genomics analysis with the physical map of Aegilops tauschii proved useful for developing additional markers to saturate the genetic linkage map. YrMM58 and YrHY1 were mapped to the distal end of chromosome arm 2 AS, with the closest marker WGGB148 being 7.7 cM and 3.8 cM from the resistance gene, which was considered to be Yr17. 12A novel selective autophagy receptor,CCDC50,delivers K63 polyubiquitination-activated RIG-I/MDA5 for degradation during viral infection显示文摘Autophagy is a con served process that delivers cytosolic substa nces to the lysosome for degradatio n,but its direct role in the regulation of antiviral inn ate immu nity remains poorly un derstood.Here,through high-throughput screeni ng,we discovered that CCDC50 functions as a previously unknown autophagy receptor that negatively regulates the type I interferon(IFN)signaling pathway initiated by RIG-I-like receptors(RLRs),the sensors for RNA viruses.The expression of CCDC50 is enhanced by viral infection,and CCDC50 specifically recognizes K63-polyubiquitinated RLRs,thus delivering the activated RIG-I/MDA5 for autophagic degradation.The associatio n of CCDC50 with phagophore membrane protei n LC3 is con firmed by crystal structure analysis.In contrast to other known autophagic cargo receptors that associate with either the LIR-docking site(LDS)or the UIMdocking site(UDS)of LC3,CCDC50 can bind to both LDS and UDS,representing a new type of cargo receptor.In mouse models with RNA virus infection,CCDC50 deficiency reduces the autophagic degradation of RIG-I/MDA5 and promotes type I IFN responses,resulting in enhaneed viral resistance and improved survival rates.These results reveal a new link between autophagy and antiviral innate immune resp on ses and provide additional in sights into the regulatory mecha nisms of RLR-mediated antiviral signaling.Panpan Hou Kongxiang Yang Penghui Jia Lan Liu Yuxin Lin Zibo Li Jun Li Shuliang Chen Shuting Guo Ji'An Pan Junyu Wu Hong Peng Weijie Zeng Chunmei Li Yingfang Liu Deyin Guo 2021Cell Research2021,31,1:5
13Study on ESS Control Strategy for Distribution Network with PV显示文摘Environmentally clean photovoltaic(PV)generation has found wider application,but the power f luctuation generated from PV can negatively impact the operation of power system.A properly designed energy storage system(ESS)can stabilize power system by absorbing and injecting instantaneous power.Suitable control strategy of ESS is studied in order to accommodate the power f luctuation.It adopts negative feedback which considers the relationship between real power and voltage in the distribution network because resistor is comparable to reactance of the lines in the distribution network.A universal model of ESS is established,the characteristic parameters such as time-delay of system response,limitation of charging and discharging and restraint of energy storage capacity are taken into account.The validity of the proposed model is verif ied by user-def ined modules in power system analysis software package(PSASP).The operation of PV generation at Wuhan Railway Station in both grid-connected mode and island mode at Wuhan Railway Station is analyzed in detail.The performances of the local distribution network with PV under different weather conditions are summarized,and the key parameter of ESS suitable for PV generation at Wuhan Railway Station is also recommended.Li Yan Jing Panpan Yang Minjing Zhang Buhan Mao Chengxiong 2014Electricity2014,25,4:5

15Purification of starch and phosphorus wastewater using core-shell magnetic seeds prepared by sulfated roasting显示文摘Core-shell magnetic seeds with certain adsorption capacity that were prepared by sulfated roasting, served as the core of a magnetic separation technology for purification of starch wastewater. XRD and SEM results indicate that magnetite's surface transformed to be porous α-Fe_2O_3 structure. Compared with magnetite particles, the specific surface area was significantly improved to be 8.361 from 2.591 m^2/g, with little decrease in specific susceptibility. Zeta potential, FT-IR and XPS experiments indicate that both phosphate and starch adsorbed on the surface of the core-shell magnetic seeds by chemical adsorption, which fits well with the Langmuir adsorption model. 17Biosynthesis and molecular engineering of templated natural products显示文摘Bioactive small molecules that are produced by living organisms, often referred to as natural products(NPs), historically play a critical role in the context of both medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. How nature creates these chemical entities with stunning structural complexity and diversity using a limited range of simple substrates has not been fully understood. Focusing on two types of NPs that share a highly evolvable ‘template'-biosynthetic logic, we here provide specific examples to highlight the conceptual and technological leaps in NP biosynthesis and witness the area of progress since the beginning of the twenty-first century. The biosynthesis of polyketides, non-ribosomal peptides and their hybrids that share an assembly-line enzymology of modular multifunctional proteins exemplifies an extended ‘central dogma'that correlates the genotype of catalysts with the chemotype of products; in parallel, post-translational modifications of ribosomally synthesized peptides involve a number of unusual biochemical mechanisms for molecular maturation. 18Ultralow-weight loading Ni catalyst supported on two-dimensional vermiculite for carbon monoxide methanation显示文摘Nickel-based catalysts represent the most commonly used systems for CO methanation.We have successfully prepared a Ni catalyst system supported on two-dimensional plasma-treated vermiculite(2D-PVMT)with a very low Ni loading(0.5 wt%).The catalyst precursor was subjected to heat treatment via either conventional heat treatment(CHT)or the plasma irradiation method(PIM).The as-obtained CHT-Ni/PVMT and PIM-Ni/PVMT catalysts were characterized with scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES)and high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM).Additionally,CHT-NiO/PVMT and PIM-NiO/PVMT catalysts were characterized with hydrogen temperature programmed reduction(H_2-TPR).Compared with CHT-Ni/PVMT,PIM-Ni/PVMT exhibited superior catalytic performance.The plasma treated catalyst PIM-Ni/PVMT achieved a CO conversion of93.5%and a turnover frequency(TOF)of 0.8537 s^(-1),at a temperature of 450°C,a gas hourly space velocity of 6000 ml·g^(-1)·h^(-1),a synthesis gas flow rate of 65 ml·min^(-1),and a pressure of 1.5 MPa.Plasma irradiation may provide a successful strategy for the preparation of catalysts with very low metal loadings which exhibit excellent properties.Mengjuan Zhang Panpan Li Mingyuan Zhu Zhiqun Tian Jianming Dan Jiangbing Li Bin Dai Feng Yu 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9:3
19Autophagy receptor CCDC50 tunes the STING-mediated interferon response in viral infections and autoimmune diseases显示文摘DNA sensing and timely activation of interferon(IFN)-mediated innate immunity are crucial for the defense against DNA virus infections and the clearance of abnormal cells.However,overactivation of immune responses may lead to tissue damage and autoimmune diseases;therefore,these processes must be intricately regulated.STING is the key adaptor protein,which is activated by cyclic GMP-AMP,the second messenger derived from cGAS-mediated DNA sensing.Here,we report that CCDC50,a newly identified autophagy receptor,tunes STING-directed type I IFN signaling activity by delivering K63-polyubiquitinated STING to autolysosomes for degradation.Knockout of CCDC50 significantly increases herpes simplex virus 1(HSV-1)-or DNA ligand-induced production of type I IFN and proinflammatory cytokines.Ccdc50-deficient mice show increased production of IFN,decreased viral replication,reduced cell infiltration,and improved survival rates compared with their wild-type littermates when challenged with HSV-1.Remarkably,the expression of CCDC50 is downregulated in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),a chronic autoimmune disease.CCDC50 levels are negatively correlated with IFN signaling pathway activation and disease severity in human SLE patients.CCDC50 deficiency potentiates the cGAS-STING-mediated immune response triggered by SLE serum.Thus,our findings reveal the critical role of CCDC50 in the immune regulation of viral infections and autoimmune diseases and provide insights into the therapeutic implications of CCDC50 manipulation.Panpan Hou Yuxin Lin Zibo Li Ruiqing Lu Yicheng Wang Tian Tian Penghui Jia Xi Zhang Liu Cao Zhongwei Zhou Chunmei Li Jieruo Gu Deyin Guo 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,10:3
20Mapping a leaf senescence gene els1 by BSR-Seq in common wheat显示文摘Leaf senescence is normally the last stage of plant development. Early senescence of functional leaves significantly reduces the photosynthetic time and efficiency, seriously affecting grain yield and quality in wheat. Discovering genes responsible for early leaf senescence(els) are necessary for developing novel germplasms and cultivars with delayed leaf-senescence through molecular manipulation and marker assisted selection. In this study, we identified an early leaf senescence line M114 in a derivative of a wheat breeding population. Genetic analysis indicated that early leaf senescence in M114 is controlled by a single recessive gene, provisionally designated els1. By applying bulked segregant analysis and RNA-Seq(BSR-Seq), seven polymorphic markers linked to els1 were developed and the gene was located on chromosome arm 2 BS in a 1.5 c M genetic interval between markers WGGB303 and WGGB305.
