1Enhanced methane production in an anaerobic digestion and microbial electrolysis cell coupled system with co-cultivation of Geobacter and Methanosarcina显示文摘The anaerobic digestion(AD)and microbial electrolysis cell(MEC)coupled system has been proved to be a promising process for biomethane production.In this paper,it was found that by co-cultivating Geobacter with Methanosarcina in an AD–MEC coupled system,methane yield was further increased by 24.1%,achieving to 360.2 m L/g-COD,which was comparable to the theoretical methane yield of an anaerobic digester.With the presence of Geobacter,the maximum chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate(216.8 mg COD/(L·hr))and current density(304.3 A/m_3)were both increased by 1.3 and 1.8 fold compared to the previous study without Geobacter,resulting in overall energy efficiency reaching up to 74.6%.Community analysis demonstrated that Geobacter and Methanosarcina could coexist together in the biofilm,and the electrochemical activities of both were confirmed by cyclic voltammetry.Our study observed that the carbon dioxide content in total gas generated from the AD reactor with Geobacter was only half of that generated from the same reactor without Geobacter,suggesting that Methanosarcina may obtain the electron transferred from Geobacter for the reduction of carbon dioxide to methane.Taken together,Geobacter not only can improve the performance of the MEC system,but also can enhance methane production.Qi Yin Xiaoyu Zhu Guoqiang Zhan Tao Bo Yanfei Yang Yong Tao Xiaohong He Daping Li Zhiying Yan 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,4:9
2Recent Progress in Automotive Gasoline Direct Injection Engine Technology显示文摘Gasoline direct injection(GDI)engines are currently the dominant powertrains for passenger cars.With the implementation of increasingly stringent fuel consumption and emission regulationsworldwide,GDI engines are facing challenges owing to high particulate matter emissions and a tendency to knock,leading to a change in the research and design(R&D)issues compared with those in the twentieth century.This paper reviews the progress in research regarding GDI engine technologies over the past 20 years,focusing on combustion system configurations,and also highlights common issues in GDI R&D,including pre-ignition and deto-knock,soot formation and PM emissions,injector deposits and gasoline compression ignition(GCI).First,an overview of recent developments in the field as driven by regulations is provided,following which progress in injection and combustion systems is examined.Third,the review addresses the occurrence and mechanism of deto-knock and considers means of suppressing this phenomenon.The fourth section discusses soot formation mechanisms and particulate matter emission characteristics of GDI engines and describes the application of gasoline particulate filter(GPF)after-treatment.The subsequent section summarizes studies regarding injector deposit formation,as well as pioneering research into GCI combustion modes.Finally,a summary and future prospects for GDI engine technologies are provided.Shijin Shuai Xiao Ma Yanfei Li Yunliang Qi Hongming Xu 2018Automotive Innovation2018,1,2:8
3Decomposition of ammonium sulfate residue in a high solid/gas ratio suspension state with an industrial-scale reactor system(production line)显示文摘Ammonium sulfate residue is a particulate solid and is produced during the manufacture of ammonium sulfate fertilizer.The residue used in this study contained a large portion of calcium carbonate,from which active lime(CaO) was recovered via thermal decomposition.We used a purpose-built device to decompose the residue in a semi-suspension state.We found that CaO had the highest activity when residue was decomposed at 850-900 ℃.Our experiments indicated that ammonium sulfate residue should be decomposed in a suspension state to produce active CaO.Based on our laboratory test findings,an industrial-scale production line with a high solid/gas ratio in a suspension state was devised.The optimal operating conditions for the decomposition of the ammonium sulfate residue to produce high quality CaO were also investigated.We found that the CaCO_3 decomposition rate was high and the CaO product was highly active,averaging 170 s by the citric acid method.Morphology measurements showed that the CaO product had a porous structure and a large specific surface ensuring high activity.Qi Li Delong Xu Yanxin Chen Yanfei Yao Zhi Sun Songxiong Ding 2015Particuology2015,13,5:4

9Novel discovery of schisandrin A regulating the interplay of autophagy and apoptosis in oligoasthenospermia by targeting SCF/c-kit and TRPV1 via biosensors显示文摘Oligoasthenospermia is the primary cause of infertility.However,there are still enormous challenges in the screening of critical candidates and targets of oligoasthenospermia owing to its complex mechanism.In this study,stem cell factor(SCF),c-kit,and transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1)biosensors were successfully established and applied to studying apoptosis and autophagy mechanisms.Interestingly,the detection limit reached 2.787×10^(-15)g/L,and the quantitative limit reached 1.0×10^(-13)g/L.Furthermore,biosensors were used to investigate the interplay between autophagy and apoptosis.Schisandrin A is an excellent candidate to form a system with c-kit similar to SCF/c-kit with a detection constant(K_(D))of 5.701×10^(-11)mol/L,whereas it had no affinity for SCF.In addition,it also inhibited autophagy in oligoasthenospermia through antagonizing TRPV1 with a K_(D) of up to 4.181×10^(-10)mol/L.In addition,in vivo and in vitro experiments were highly consistent with the biosensor.In summary,high-potency schisandrin A and two potential targets were identified,through which schisandrin A could reverse the apoptosis caused by excessive autophagy during oligoasthenospermia.Our study provides promising insights into the discovery of effective compounds and potential targets via a well-established in vitro-in vivo strategy.Lijuan Ma Boyi Li Jinchen Ma Chunyuan Wu Nan Li Kailin Zhou Yun Yan Mingshuang Li Xiaoyan Hu Hao Yan Qi Wang Yanfei Zheng Zhisheng Wu 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6:1

15Hierarchical micro-nanostructures from polyoxometalates and polydopamine:Characterization,electrochemical and intrinsic peroxidase-like properties显示文摘Hybrid composite materials with hierarchical structures have attracted continuing attention for their enhanced features and various applications.The new hybrid composites XW_(9)@PDA(XW_(9) means Na_(8)H[α-PW_(9)O_(34)],Na_(10)[α-SiW_(9)O_(34)]and Na_(10)[α-GeW_(9)O_(34)];PDA means polydopamine)have been synthesized for potential sensing applications.The effect of polyoxometalates on the formation of the hybrid composites was investigated.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)supported the obtained XW_(9)@PDA were hierarchical microsphere.By monitoring the reaction of classical peroxidase substrate o-phenylenediamine(OPD)to form yellow 2,3-diaminophenazine(DAB)in the presence of H_(2)O_(2),the peroxidase-like activity of XW_(9)@PDA was calculated.The results showed that XW_(9)@PDA still keep the peroxidase-like activity and have 505.98%,208.58%and 582.78%enhancement in intrinsic catalytic activity for PW_(9)@PDA,SiW_(9)@PDA and GeW_(9)@PDA.Among the three composites,PW_(9)@PDA showed the highest peroxidase-like activity.Therefore,PW_(9)@PDA was applicable to the colorimetric and electrochemical sensing for H_(2)O_(2).Ruijuan Lv Xinming Zhang Ruimeng Sun Lixia Chen Yang Zhang Rongtian Sheng Ting Du Yuhan Li Yanfei Qi 2022Particuology2022,20,5:1

18Unsupervised Domain Adaptation Based on Discriminative Subspace Learning for Cross-Project Defect Prediction显示文摘:Cross-project defect prediction(CPDP)aims to predict the defects on target project by using a prediction model built on source projects.The main problem in CPDP is the huge distribution gap between the source project and the target project,which prevents the prediction model from performing well.Most existing methods overlook the class discrimination of the learned features.Seeking an effective transferable model from the source project to the target project for CPDP is challenging.In this paper,we propose an unsupervised domain adaptation based on the discriminative subspace learning(DSL)approach for CPDP.DSL treats the data from two projects as being from two domains and maps the data into a common feature space.It employs crossdomain alignment with discriminative information from different projects to reduce the distribution difference of the data between different projects and incorporates the class discriminative information.Specifically,DSL first utilizes subspace learning based domain adaptation to reduce the distribution gap of data between different projects.Then,it makes full use of the class label information of the source project and transfers the discrimination ability of the source project to the target project in the common space.Comprehensive experiments on five projects verify that DSL can build an effective prediction model and improve the performance over the related competing methods by at least 7.10%and 11.08%in terms of G-measure and AUC.Ying Sun Yanfei Sun Jin Qi Fei Wu Xiao-Yuan Jing Yu Xue Zixin Shen 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9:0
19Polar motion prediction using the combination of SSA and ARMA显示文摘High-precision polar motion(PM) prediction is of important significance in astronomy, geodesy, aviation,hydrographic mapping, interstellar navigation, and so on. SSA can effectively extract the trend and period terms of PM,in the process of achieving high-precision medium-and long-term polar motion prediction,it is necessary to solve the end effect problem and overfitting problem of SSA forecasting method;therefore, ARMA was applied to decreasethe end effect, and a suitable combination of reconstructed components was determined to avoid the high variance reaction of SSA overfitting. Based on the decomposition and reconstruction of the PM by SSA, the reconstructed components are determined to participate in the SSA iterative fitting model according to the variance contribution rate. The combination of the reconstructed components representing the polar motion period term and the trend term is determined according to the correlation analysis of the selected reconstructed components. After the above work, the principal component prediction sequence is obtained by fitting the period term and the trend term to convergence, respectively, and then, the SSA end effect is modified, and the residual term is predicted based on ARMA. 20Hot-melt extrusion promotes dissolution,extends“spring-parachute”process and inhibits crystallization in supersaturating microparticle systems显示文摘Despite the potential advantages of amorphism-induced supersaturation,the merit of new amorphiza-tion formation methods on the properties of the amorphous drug including the stability of the amor-phous state,dissolution/solubility,supersaturation,and'spring-parachute'process is still poorly understood,particularly for certain amorphous supersaturating drug delivery systems(aSDDS).The present work aimed to explore the detailed merit of current attractive amorphization manufacturing methods(i.g.,hot-melt extrusion(HME)technique)on the property improvement of aSDDS in form of amorphous solid dispersion microparticles by employing a model Bcs II drug nitrendipine and a polyvinylpyrrolidone-based model polymer copovidone.Many asDDS systems were developed by various methods,and their physicochemical properties were characterized by SEM,PXRD and DSC.HME-triggered amorphization induced superior supersaturation by the observation of the highest dissolution and solubility.HME induced the optimal supersaturation duration by the observed greatest extension of'spring-parachute'process(e.g,maximum AUCspring-parachute).HME technique is comparable with other techniques for the stabilization of amorphous state during storage.All aSDDS systems by HME and other methods showed improved long-term stability of the amorphous state in comparison to the pure amorphous drug.Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy,Noyes-Whitney equation,nucleation theory and Gibbs free energy of transfer(△G)were used to analyze the underlying mechanisms.Mo-lecular mechanism studies indicated that HME caused a stronger crystallization inhibition effect in the asDDS systems than other methods,but molecular interaction is not a dominant mechanism for property enhancement caused by HME.For the mechanism associated with the polymer itself(PVPVA64),it could inhibit the drug recrystallization,solubilize the drug spontaneously and cause the improved molecular interactions in all aSDDS systems.This study provided a deep insight into detailed advantage of HME-triggered supersaturation/amorphization and facilitated the applications of the technique both in the field of particuology and in pharmaceutical industry.Yanfei Zhang Huifeng Zhang Huan Yu Yinghui Ma Chengyi Hao Xiaoying Lin Yong Zhang Zhengqiang Li Xianrong Qi Jia Zeng Nianqiu Shi 2023Particuology2023,,7:0
