| 1 | Using multi-matching system based on a simplified deformable model of the human iris for iris recognition显示文摘A new method for iris recognition using a multi-matching system based on a simplified deformable model of the human iris was proposed. The method defined iris feature points and formed the feature space based on a wavelet transform. In the matching stage it worked in a crude manner. Driven by a simplified deformable iris model, the crude matching was refined. By means of such multi-matching system, the task of iris recognition was accomplished. This process can preserve the elastic deformation between an input iris image and a template and improve precision for iris recognition. | 7 | Experimental study on the progressive failure and its anchoring effect of weak-broken rock vertical slope显示文摘To improve the understanding on the failure behavior and its anchoring effect of weak-broken rock slope,the rock of grade IV according to China is taken as reference prototype,and a series of model tests were carried out in laboratory.These tests can be divided into two categories,that is,with bolt reinforcement and without bolt reinforcement.In which,the stability of slope reinforced with different bolt diameter,different anchor length and different space are studied.The test results show that the collapse of slope is the combination of tension failure at the top and the compression-shearing failure at the bottom of the slope,and its failure process presents progressive characteristics.The contributions of bolt reinforcement are mainly reflected by the aspects of shear resistance,crack resistance and anti-extension.The reinforcement of blot not only can improve the vertical bearing capacity before failure,but also can reduce the vertical settlement and allow greater lateral rock wall deformation;what is more,the stress concentration degree in rock mass can be dispersed,which do help to improve the stability of slope rock mass. | Hehua ZHU Qianwei XU Wenqi DING Feng HUANG | 2011 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2011,5,2: | 1 |

| 12 | Point-cloud segmentation of individual trees in complex natural forest scenes based on a trunk-growth method显示文摘Forest resource management and ecological assessment have been recently supported by emerging technologies.Terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)is one that can be quickly and accurately used to obtain three-dimensional forest information,and create good representations of forest vertical structure.TLS data can be exploited for highly significant tasks,particularly the segmentation and information extraction for individual trees.However,the existing single-tree segmentation methods suffer from low segmentation accuracy and poor robustness,and hence do not lead to satisfactory results for natural forests in complex environments.In this paper,we propose a trunk-growth(TG)method for single-tree point-cloud segmentation,and apply this method to the natural forest scenes of Shangri-La City in Northwest Yunnan,China.First,the point normal vector and its Z-axis component are used as trunk-growth constraints.Then,the points surrounding the trunk are searched to account for regrowth.Finally,the nearest distributed branch and leaf points are used to complete the individual tree segmentation.The results show that the TG method can effectively segment individual trees with an average F-score of 0.96.The proposed method applies to many types of trees with various growth shapes,and can effectively identify shrubs and herbs in complex scenes of natural forests.The promising outcomes of the TG method demonstrate the key advantages of combining plant morphology theory and LiDAR technology for advancing and optimizing forestry systems. | Qianwei Liu Weifeng Ma Jianpeng Zhang Yicheng Liu Dongfan Xu Jinliang Wang | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,6: | 1 |

| 17 | In-situ coupling construction of interface bridge to enhance electrochemical stability of all solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Polymer-based composite electrolytes composed of three-dimensional Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(2)Al_(0.2)O_(12)(3D-LLZAO)have attracted increasing attention due to their continuous ion conduction and satisfactory mechanical properties.However,the organic/inorganic interface is incompatible,resulting in slow lithium-ion transport at the interface.Therefore,the compatibility of organic/inorganic interface is an urgent problem to be solved.Inspired by the concept of“gecko eaves”,polymer-based composite solid electrolytes with dense interface structures were designed.The bridging of organic/inorganic interfaces was established by introducing silane coupling agent(3-chloropropyl)trimethoxysilane(CTMS)into the PEO-3D-LLZAO(PL)electrolyte.The in-situ coupling reaction improves the interface affinity,strengthens the organic/inorganic interaction,reduces the interface resistance,and thus achieves an efficient interface ion transport network.The prepared PEO-3D-LLZAO-CTMS(PLC)electrolyte exhibits enhanced ionic conductivity of 6.04×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)and high ion migration number(0.61)at 60℃and broadens the electrochemical window(5.1 V).At the same time,the PLC electrolyte has good thermal stability and high mechanical properties.Moreover,the Li Fe PO_(4)|PLC|Li battery has excellent rate performance and cycling stability with a capacity decay rate of 2.2%after 100 cycles at 60℃and 0.1 C.These advantages of PLC membranes indicate that this design approach is indeed practical,and the in-situ coupling method provides a new approach to address interface compatibility issues. | Qianwei Zhang Rong Yang Chao Li Lei Mao Bohai Wang Meng Luo Yinglin Yan Yiming Zou Lisheng Zhong Yunhua Xu | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,89,2: | 0 |
