| 1 | Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased. | NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22: | 51 |
| 2 | The recommendations of Chinese Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder society consensus on therapeutic management of Parkinson’s disease显示文摘Background:Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a chronic,progressive and debilitating disease,which affects over 2.5 million people in China.PD is characterized clinically by resting tremor,muscular rigidity,bradykinesia and postural instability.As the disease progresses,additional complications can arise such as non-motor and neurobehavioral symptoms.Pharmacological treatment and surgical intervention for PD have been implemented in China.Until 10 years ago,there was lack of standardization for the management of PD in different regions and among different physicians,leading to different treatment levels in different regions and different physicians.Since then,the Chinese Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society have published three versions of guidelines for the management of PD in China,in 2006,2009 and 2014,respectively.Correspondingly,the overall level of treatment for PD in China improved.Objectives:To update the treatment guidelines based on current foreign and domestic practice guidelines and clinical evidence,and to improve the treatment options available to physicians in the management of PD.Summary:A variety of treatment recommendations in the treatment guidelines have been proposed,including physical activity and disease-modifying medication,which should be initiated at the early-stage of the disease.The principles of dosage titration should be followed to avoid acute adverse reactions to the drugs,to achieve a satisfactory clinical effect with a low dose and to reduce the incidence of long-term motor complications.Moreover,different treatment strategies should be considered at different stages of the disease.Importantly,treatment guidelines and personalized treatments should be valued equally.A set of treatment recommendations has been developed to assist physicians to improve and optimize clinical outcomes for patients with PD in China. | Shengdi Chen Piu Chan Shenggang Sun Haibo Chen Baorong Zhang Weidong Le Chunfeng Liu Guoguang Peng Beisha Tang Lijuan Wang Yan Cheng Ming Shao Zhenguo Liu Zhenfu Wang Xiaochun Chen Mingwei Wang Xinhua Wan Huifang Shang Yiming Liu Pingyi Xu Jian Wang Tao Feng Xianwen Chen Xingyue Hu Anmu Xie Qin Xiao | 2016 | Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1: | 23 |

| 4 | Super-Tough and Environmentally Stable Aramid Nanofiber@MXene Coaxial Fibers with Outstanding Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Efficiency显示文摘Although electrically conductive and hydrophilic MXene sheets are promising for multifunctional fibers and electronic textiles,it is still a challenge to simultaneously enhance both conductivity and mechanical properties of MXene fibers because of the high rigidity of MXene sheets and insufficient inter-sheet interactions.Herein,we demonstrate a core-shell wet-spinning methodology for fabricating highly conductive,super-tough,ultra-strong,and environmentally stable Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene-based core-shell fibers with conductive MXene cores and tough aramid nanofiber(ANF)shells.The highly orientated and low-defect structure endows the ANF@MXene core-shell fiber with supertoughness of~48.1 MJ m^(-3),high strength of~502.9 MPa,and high conductivity of~3.0×10^(5)S m^(-1).The super-tough and conductive ANF@MXene fibers can be woven into textiles,exhibiting an excellent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding efficiency of 83.4 dB at a small thickness of 213μm.Importantly,the protection of the ANF shells provides the fibers with satisfactory cyclic stability under dynamic stretching and bending,and excellent resistance to acid,alkali,seawater,cryogenic and high temperatures,and fire.The oxidation resistance of the fibers is demonstrated by their wellmaintained EMI shielding performances.The multifunctional core-shell fibers would be highly promising in the fields of EMI shielding textiles,wearable electronics and aerospace. | Liu-Xin Liu Wei Chen Hao-Bin Zhang Lvxuan Ye Zhenguo Wang Yu Zhang Peng Min Zhong-Zhen Yu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7: | 6 |

| 6 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Fiber Laser Welded GH3535 Superalloy显示文摘As a primary material of the thorium molten salt reactor(TMSR) that is a suitable candidate reactor of the Generation IV nuclear reactors, GH3535 superalloy was successfully welded. The effect of laser beam welding(LBW) on microstructure evolution of fusion zone(FZ) and heat affected zone(HAZ), such as element segregation, precipitate behavior and grain evolution, was investigated. The microhardness and tensile properties were tested and discussed. The results of microstructure evolution showed that a number of fine M_6C-y eutectic phases precipitated at solidification grain boundaries and interdendritic region in FZ. Compared to base metal zone(BMZ), the grain size of HAZ has no obvious change. While a few of M_6C-y eutectic phases were observed in partially melted zone(PMZ) of HAZ. The results of microhardness indicated that the hardness of FZ was higher than that of HAZ and BMZ. The results of tensile test showed that the ultimate tensile strength of joints at room temperature, 650 and 700?C were98%, 97% and 99% of that of BM, respectively. | 7 | Effect of the second-throat on the performance of supersonic-supersonic ejectors显示文摘The pressure matching and recovery performances of the second-throat supersonic-supersonic ejector have been performed experimentally and numerically in the current study.Schlieren pictures of flow structure in former part of the mixing chamber with varied stagnation pressure ratio of the primary and secondary flows have been taken,and the maximum compression ratios have been obtained.Additionally,the relevant numerical simulations have been performed.The obtained results show that the pressure matching performance of the second-throat supersonic-supersonic ejector is weaker than that of the constant area one,and the pressure recovery performance of the former is better than that of the latter.For the ejectors tested in this paper,the stagnation pressure ratios of the second-throat supersonic-supersonic ejector at the limiting condition are approximately 10% lower than those of the constant area one when the contraction angle of the mixing chamber is 4°,and the maximum compression ratio is 12%-30% higher.When the contraction angle of the mixing chamber is 6°,the pressure matching performance of the second-throat supersonic-supersonic ejector declines sharply,and the pressure recovery performance remains almost the same.When the contraction angle of the mixing chamber is 8°,the supersonic-supersonic ejection phenomenon does not take place any longer. | CHEN Jian WANG ZhenGuo WU JiPing XU WanWu | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9: | 3 |

| 11 | Signal characteristics of coal and rock dynamics with micro-seismic monitoring technique显示文摘In this study,differences of signal characteristics between mine shocks and coal and gas outbursts in coal mines were examined with the micro-seismic monitoring technique and time–frequency analysis.The duration of the mine shock is short while the coal and gas outburst lasts longer.The outburst consists of three stages:the pre-shock,secondary shock and main shock stage,respectively.The velocity amplitude of the mine shock is between 10^(-)5and 10^(-3)m/s,which is higher than that of the outburst with the same energy level.In addition,in both cases,the correlation between the velocity amplitude and energy is positive while the correlation between the signal frequency band distribution and energy is negative.The signal frequency band of the high energy mine shock is distributed between 0 and 50 Hz,and the low energy mine shock is between 50 and 100 Hz.The fractal characteristics of mine shocks were studied based on a fractal theory.The box dimensions of high energy mine shocks are lower than the low energy ones,however,the box dimensions of outbursts are higher than that of mine shocks with the same energy level.The higher box dimensions indicate more dangerous dynamic events. | Ding Yanlu Dou Linming Cai Wu Chen Jianjun Kong Yong Su Zhenguo Li Zhenlei | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,4: | 2 |
| 12 | Cryptococcus neoformans,a global threat to human health显示文摘Background Emerging fungal pathogens pose important threats to global public health. The World Health Organization has responded to the rising threat of traditionally neglected fungal infections by developing a Fungal Priority Pathogens List (FPPL). Taking the highest-ranked fungal pathogen in the FPPL,Cryptococcus neoformans, as a paradigm, we review progress made over the past two decades on its global burden, its clinical manifestation and management of cryptococcal infection, and its antifungal resistance. The purpose of this review is to drive research efforts to improve future diagnoses, therapies, and interventions associated with fungal infections.Methods We first reviewed trends in the global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal infection, mainly based on a series of systematic studies. We next conducted scoping reviews in accordance with the guidelines described in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses extension for Scoping Reviews using PubMed and ScienceDirect with the keywordCryptococcus neoformans to identify case reports of cryptococcal infections published since 2000. We then reviewed recent updates on the diagnosis and antifungal treatment of cryptococcal infections. Finally, we summarized knowledge regarding the resistance and tolerance ofC. neoformans to approved antifungal drugs.Results There has been a general reduction in the estimated global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis since 2009, probably due to improvements in highly active antiretroviral therapies. However, cryptococcal meningitis still accounts for 19% of AIDS-related deaths annually. The incidences of CM in Europe and North America and the Latin America region have increased by approximately two-fold since 2009, while other regions showed either reduced or stable numbers of cases. Unfortunately, diagnostic and treatment options for cryptococcal infections are limited, and emerging antifungal resistance exacerbates the public health burden.Conclusions The rising threat ofC. neoformans is compounded by accumulating evidence for its ability to infect immunocompetent individuals and the emergence of antifungal-resistant variants. Emphasis should be placed on further understanding the mechanisms of pathogenicity and of antifungal resistance and tolerance. | 19 | Insights into a novel nitrogen removal process based on simultaneous anammox and denitrification(SAD) following nitritation with in-situ NOB elimination显示文摘Simultaneous anammox and denitrification(SAD) is an efficient approach to treat wastewater having a low C/N ratio;however, few studies have investigated a combination of SAD and partial nitritation(PN). In this study, a lab-scale up-flow blanket filter(UBF) and zeolite sequence batch reactor(ZSBR) were continuously operated to implement SAD and PN advantages, respectively. The UBF achieved a high total nitrogen(TN) removal efficiency of over 70% during the start-up stage(days 1–50), and reached a TN removal efficiency of 96%in the following 90 days(days 51–140) at COD/NH_(4)^(+)-N ratio of 2.5. The absolute abundance of anammox bateria increased to the highest value of 1.58 × 107copies/μL DNA;Comamonadaceae was predominant in the UBF at the optimal ratio. Meanwhile, ZSBR was initiated on day 115 as fast nitritation process to satisfy the influent requirement for the UBF. The combined process was started on day 140 and then lasted for 30 days, during the combined process, between the two reactors, the UBF was the main contributor for TN(66.5% ± 4.5%)and COD(71.8% ± 4.9%) removal. These results demonstrated that strong SAD occurred in the UBF when following a ZSBR with in-situ NOB elimination.
