1Carbon nanotube glycol nanofluids: Photo-thermal properties, thermal conductivities and rheological behavior显示文摘The efficiency and effectiveness of solar energy capture and storage are to a large extent functions of the heat transfer and storage capacity of the medium used. This paper investigates the potential of using carbon nanotube (CNT)-glycol nanosuspension as such a medium, prepared by freeze drying-ultrasonic dispersing after oxidation treatment with HNO 3 . The influences of the mass fraction of CNTs glycol nanofluids and temperatures on photo-thermal properties, thermal conductivities and rheological behavior were investigated. The results show that CNTs with oxidation treatment exhibited good dis- persing performance. Strong optical absorption of the CNTs glycol nanofluids was detected in the range of 200-2500 nm. At room temperature, 18% enhancement was found in the photo-thermal conversion efficiency of the 0.5% mass fraction CNTs glycol nanofluids in comparison to the basic fluids, without significant increase in viscosity. At 55 C, CNTs glycol nanofluids with 4.0% mass fraction exhibited much lower viscosity and 25.4% higher thermal conductivity in comparison to that of pure glycol at room temperature.Zhaoguo Meng Daxiong Wu Liangang Wang Haitao Zhu Qingling Li 2012Particuology2012,10,5:5
2Throttle characteristics of multi-stage circumfluence nozzle during the separate-layer injection of CO_(2)显示文摘Separate-layer injection of CO2 is an important method to improve oil and gas production and recovery.Conventional single-stage nozzle is usually blocked by impurities,and the ice-barrier phenomenon is very common.To solve this problem,large-diameter multi-stage circumfluence nozzle was designed to release pressure stage by stage.In order to illuminate the throttle characteristics of the CO2 multi-stage circumfluence nozzles,numerical simulation was performed to test several nozzles with different diameters and stage numbers.Furthermore,we tested the throttle characteristics through laboratory experiments and obtained the effects of several critical parameters such as nozzle diameter,number of stage and pressure drop on the throttle characteristics.The results show that the flow rate decreases as the nozzle stage increases on the condition of constant pressure and nozzle diameter.And pressure difference increases as nozzle stage number increases under the constant flow rate.The throttle capability of multi-stage circumfluence nozzles was much better than the concentric nozzles.Large-diameter multi-stage nozzle is recommended rather than small-diameter single-stage nozzle during the process of separate-layer injection,which can efficiently prevent impurities and ice blocking.The results are expected to provide a theoretical support for the nozzle choice of separate-layer injection of CO2.Haizhu Wang Gensheng Li Lichuan Zhao Youwen Wang Yun Liu Qingling Liu Meng Wang Fei Gao Meng Cai 2018Petroleum2018,4,2:2

6Physical Activity,Sedentary Behavior,and the Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients:The MIDiab Study显示文摘The aim of this study was to explore the associations of moderate-to-vigorous-intensity physical activity(MVPA)time and sedentary(SED)time with a history of cardiovascular disease(CVD)and multifactorial(i.e.,blood pressure(BP),body mass index(BMI),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c))control status among type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients in China.A cross-sectional analysis of 9152 people with type 2 diabetes from the Multifactorial Intervention on Type 2 Diabetes(MIDiab)study was performed.Patients were grouped according to their self-reported MVPA time(low,<150 min·week−1;moderate,150 to<450 min·week−1;high,≥450 min·week−1)and SED time(low,<4 h·d–1;moderate,4 to<8 h·d–1;high,≥8 h·d–1).Participants who self-reported a history of CVD were identified as having a CVD risk.Odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs)of CVD risk and multifactorial control status associated with MVPA time and SED time were estimated using mixed-effect logistic regression models,adjusting for China’s geographical region characteristics.The participants had a mean±standard deviation(SD)age of(60.87±8.44)years,44.5%were women,and 25.1%had CVD.After adjustment for potential confounding factors,an inverse association between high MVPA time and CVD risk that was independent of SED time was found,whereas this association was not observed in the moderate-MVPA group.A higher MVPA time was more likely to have a positive effect on the control of BMI.Compared with the reference group(i.e.,those with MVPA time≥450 min·week−1 and SED time<4 h·d–1),CVD risk was higher in the low-MVPA group:The OR associated with an SED time<4 h·d–1 was 1.270(95%CI,1.040–1.553)and that associated with an SED time≥8 h·d–1 was 1.499(95%CI,1.149–1.955).We found that a high MVPA time(i.e.,≥450 min·week−1)was associated with lower odds of CVD risk regardless of SED time among patients with T2DM.Yafei Wu Guijun Qin Guixia Wang Libin Liu Bing Chen Qingbo Guan Zhongshang Yuan Xu Hou Ling Gao Chao Xu Haiqing Zhang Xu Zhang Qiu Li Yongfeng Song Fei Jing Shizhan Ma Shanshan Shao Meng Zhao Qingling Guo Nanwei Tong Hongyan Zhao Xiaomin Xie Chao Liu Zhongyan Shan Zhifeng Cheng Xuefeng Yu Shulin Chen Tao Yang Yangang Wang Dongmei Li Zhaoli Yan Lixin Guo Qiuhe Ji Wenjuan Wang Jiajun Zhao 2023Engineering2023,,1:1

8Establishment of organoid models for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and screening of individualized therapy strategy显示文摘Background:Patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)who undergo surgical resection and receive effective chemotherapy have the best chance for longterm survival.Unfortunately,because of the heterogeneity of pancreatic cancer,it is difficult to find a personalized treatment strategy for patients.Organoids are ideal preclinical models for personalized medicine.Therefore,we explore the cultivation conditions and construction methods of PDAC organoid models to screen the individualized therapy strategy.Methods:Fresh PDAC tissues from surgical resection were collected and digested with digestive enzymes;then the tumor cells were embedded in Matrigel with a suitable medium to establish the PDAC organoid models.The genetic stability of the organoids was analyzed using whole exon sequencing;hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunohistochemistry of organoids were performed to analyze their consistency with the pathological morphology of the patient's tumor tissue;After 2 days of organoid culture,we selected four commonly used clinical chemotherapy drugs for single or combined treatment to analyze drug sensitivity.Results:Two cases of PDAC organoid models were successfully established,and the results of their pathological characteristics and exome sequencing were consistent with those of the patient's tumor tissue.Both PDAC organoids showed more sensitivity to gemcitabine and cisplatin,and the combined treatment was more effective than monotherapy.Conclusion:Both organoids better retained the pathological characteristics,genomic stability,and heterogeneity with the original tumor.Individual PDAC organoids exhibited different sensitivities to the same drugs.Thus,this study provided ideal experimental models for screening individualized therapy strategy for patients with PDAC.Miaomiao Gong Han Meng Dengxu Tan Peng Li Jing Qin Qingling An Changhong Shi Jiaze An 2023Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,5:0
9State feedback control of network-based systems with packet disordering显示文摘A new method that stabilizes network-based systems with both bounded delay and packet disordering is discussed under the state feedback controller. A novel model, fully describing the dynamic characteristic of network-based systems with packet disordering, is constructed. Different from the existing models of network-based systems, the number of delay items is time-varying in the model proposed. Further, this model is converted into a parameter-uncertain discrete-time system with time-varying delay item numbers in terms of matrix theory. Moreover, the less conservative stability condition is obtained by avoiding utilisation of Moon et al.’ inequality and bounding inequalities for quadratic functional terms. By solving a minization problem based on linear matrix inequalities, the state feedback controller is presented.
