1Indole alkaloid sulfonic acids from an aqueous extract of Isatis indigotica roots and their antiviral activity显示文摘Six new indole alkaloid sulfonic acids(1–6), together with two analogues(7 and 8) that were previously reported as synthetic products, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica root. Their structures including the absolute configurations were determined by spectroscopic data analysis, combined with enzyme hydrolysis and comparison of experimental circular dichroism and calculated electronic circular dichroism spectra. 3Sulfur-enriched alkaloids from the root of Isatis indigotica显示文摘Five new sulfur-enriched alkaloids isatithioetherins A–E(1–5), and two pairs of scalemic enantiomers(t)-and( à)-isatithiopyrin B(6 a and 6 b) and isoepigoitrin and isogoitrin(7 a and 7 b), along with the known scalemic enantiomers epigoitrin and goitrin(8 a and 8 b), were isolated and characterized from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic data analysis, including 2 D NMR and theoretical calculations of electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectra based on the quantum-mechanical time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT). Compounds 1–5 represent a novel group of sulfur-enriched alkaloids, biogenetically originating from stereoselective assemblies of epigoitrin-derived units. Isolation and structure characterization of 6 a and 6 b support the postulated biosynthetic pathways for the diastereomers 9 a and 9 b via a rare thio-Diels–Alder reaction. 4Isatindolignanoside A, a glucosidic indole-lignan conjugate from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots显示文摘A glucosidic indole-lignan conjugate with a novel carbon skeleton, named isatindolignanoside A(1), was isolated from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots 'ban lan gen'. Its structure was elucidated by comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data, including J-and NOESY correlation-based configurational analysis, circular dichroism(CD) data, enzyme hydrolysis, and theoretical ECD calculation. In a preliminary assay, compound 1 showed antiviral activity against Coxsackie virus B3. 5Constructing Odd-Variable Rotation Symmetric Boolean Functions with Optimal Algebraic Immunity and High Nonlinearity显示文摘Rotation symmetric Boolean functions(RSBFs) have attracted widespread attention due to their good cryptographic properties. We present a new construction of RSBFs with optimal algebraic immunity on odd number of variables. The nonlinearity of the new function is much higher than other best known RSBFs with optimal algebraic immunity. 6Experimental study of separation of ammonia synthesis vent gas by hydrate formation显示文摘Termodynamic data on methane hydrate formation in the presence of ammonia are very important for upgrading of ammonia synthesis vent gas using hydrate formation. This paper is focused on the formation conditions of methane hydrate in the presence of ammonia and the effects of gas-liquid ratio and temperature on the separation of vent gas by hydrate formation. Equilibrium data for methane hydrate within an ammonia mole concentration range from 1% to 5 % were obtained. The experimental results indicated that ammonia has an inhibitive effect on hydrate formation. The higher the ammonia concentration, the higher is the pressure reguired for methane hydrate formation would be. 7Activation pressure studies with an iron-based catalyst for slurry Fischer-Tropsch synthesis显示文摘Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS) was carried out with an industrial iron-based catalyst(100Fe/5Cu/6K/16SiO 2,by weight) under the baseline conditions in a stirred tank slurry reactor(STSR) . The effects of activation pressure on the catalyst activity and selectivity were investigated. It was found that iron phase compositions,textural properties,and FTS performances of the catalysts were strongly dependent on activation pressure. The high activation pressure retards the carburization. M ssbauer effect spectroscopy(MES) results indicated that the contents of the iron carbides clearly decrease with the increase of activation pressure,especially for the activation pressure increasing from 1.0 MPa to 1.5 MPa,and the reverse trend is observed for superparamagnetic Fe 3+(spm) . The higher content of Fe 3+(spm) results in the higher amount of CO 2 in tail gas when the catalyst is reduced at higher pressure. The catalyst activity decreases with the increase of activation pressure. The high quantity of iron carbides is necessary to obtain high FTS activity. However,the activity of the catalyst activated in syngas can not be predicted solely from the fraction of the carbides. 9MULTI-FLORET SPIKELET 4(MFS4)Regulates Spikelet Development and Grain Size in Rice显示文摘In rice,the spikelet is the basic unit of inflorescence,and its development is important for determining the grain yield and quality.We reported a rice spikelet mutant multi-floret spikelet 4(mfs4)which resulted in the production of extra floral organs or a whole extra floret,and elongated sterile lemmas.The results suggested that the mutation of the MFS4 gene interfered with spikelet meristem determinacy and floral organ identity.In addition,the plant height and the grain length and width in the mfs4 mutant were all less than those in the wild type.Using the bulked segregant analysis method,the MFS4 gene was localized in a 557-kb region on the long arm of chromosome 1.Sequence analysis showed that there was a C-base deletion at the open reading frame of LOC_Os01g67430.Further tests indicated that a wild type copy of LOC_Os01g67430 was able to reverse the mfs4 defects,which indicated that LOC_Os01g67430 was the MFS4 gene.The MFS4 gene encodes a lipase located in the mitochondria and is expressed strongly in the young inflorescence.qRT-PCR results showed that the expression of some genes that were known to regulate spikelet meristem determinacy and grain size were decreased in the mfs4 mutant,which indicated that the MFS4 gene regulates spikelet meristem determinacy and grain size by modulating the expression of these genes.Wang Yan Zeng Xiaoqin Lu Lu Cheng Qinglan Yang Fayu Huang Mingjiang Xiong Mao Li Yunfeng 2021Rice science2021,28,4:1

11Organic frameworks confined Cu single atoms and nanoclusters for tandem electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction to methane显示文摘The electrochemical reduction reaction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)RR)is considered to be an effective way to realize carbon neutrality.As a type of intensively studied materials,covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with a tunable pore structure and various functional groups are promising catalysts for CO_(2)RR.Herein,COF synthesized by 2,6‐diaminoanthraquinone and 2,4,6‐triformylphloroglucinol is employed to assist the synthesis of electrocatalysts from Cu single atoms(SAs)to nanoclusters by controlling the electrodeposition.A tandem catalyst for CO_(2)‐to‐CH4 conversion is thus achieved by the Cu nanoclusters dispersed among the isolated Cu SAs in the COF network.It is proposed that CO_(2) is first reduced to CO over the atomically isolated Cu SAs,followed by diffusion onto the neighboring Cu nanoclusters for further reduction into CH4.In addition,mechanistic analysis suggests that the coordinated K^(+)ions on the COF network promote the activation of CO_(2) and the adsorption of reaction intermediates,thus realizing the suppressed hydrogen evolution reaction and selective production of CH4.This study presents a new insight of COFs for the confined synthesis of a tunable SA to nanocluster electrocatalysts,disclosing the great potential of COFs in electrocatalysis.Qinglan Zhao Yian Wang Meng Li Shangqian Zhu Tiehuai Li Jixiang Yang Ting Lin Ernest PDelmo Yinuo Wang Juhee Jang Meng Gu Minhua Shao 2022SmartMat2022,3,1:1

19Genome-wide DNA methylation landscape of four Chinese populations and epigenetic variation linked to Tibetan high-altitude adaptation显示文摘DNA methylation(DNAm)is one of the major epigenetic mechanisms in humans and is important in diverse cellular processes.The variation of DNAm in the human population is related to both genetic and environmental factors.However,the DNAm profiles have not been investigated in the Chinese population of diverse ethnicities.Here,we performed double-strand bisulfite sequencing(DSBS)for 32 Chinese individuals representing four major ethnic groups including Han Chinese,Tibetan,Zhuang,and Mongolian.We identified a total of 604,649 SNPs and quantified DNAm at more than 14 million Cp Gs in the population.We found global DNAm-based epigenetic structure is different from the genetic structure of the population,and ethnic difference only partially explains the variation of DNAm.Surprisingly,non-ethnic-specific DNAm variations showed stronger correlation with the global genetic divergence than these ethnic-specific DNAm.Differentially methylated regions(DMRs)among these ethnic groups were found around genes in diverse biological processes.Especially,these DMR-genes between Tibetan and nonTibetans were enriched around high-altitude genes including EPAS1 and EGLN1,suggesting DNAm alteration plays an important role in high-altitude adaptation.Our results provide the first batch of epigenetic maps for Chinese populations and the first evidence of the association of epigenetic changes with Tibetans'high-altitude adaptation.Zeshan Lin Yan Lu Guoliang Yu Huajing Teng Bao Wang Yajun Yang Qinglan Li Zhongsheng Sun Shuhua Xu Wen Wang Peng Tian 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10:0
