13-D geologic architecture of Xiong'an New Area: Constraints from seismic reflection data显示文摘Studying the geologic architecture of the Xiong'an New Area will provide important basis for the evaluation of crustal stability, urban planning and infrastructural projects in this region, and it is also of great significance in exploring the occurrence of oil and gas, geothermal, hot dry rock and other resources. The stratigraphic system of the study area is established by using latest high quality seismic reflection and deep borehole data. Characteristics of the major faults developed in the study area are finely depicted with the method of structural analysis. Tectonic evolution of Xiong'an and adjacent areas is reconstructed by using balanced geological cross-section technique. The tectonic activity of the study area is discussed on the basis of the development of secondary faults and the distribution of active earthquakes across the region. This study demonstrates that Xiong'an New Area is located at the transfer zone of the central and northern Jizhong Depression. There are three regional unconformities developed in this area, by which four structural layers are sub-divided. Controlled by the Taihang Mountain piedmont fault, the Daxing fault, the Rongcheng fault and the Niudong fault, the structural framework of the study area is characterized by intervening highs with sags. This structural pattern has an important controlling over the reservoir characteristics, hydrocarbon accumulation and the distribution of geothermal resources and hot dry rock within this region. Rifting in this area began in the early Paleogene, exhibiting typical episodic character and became inactive in Neogene. 6Alleviating experimental pulmonary hypertension via co-delivering FoxO1 stimulus and apoptosis activator to hyperproliferating pulmonary arteries显示文摘Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is an insidious pulmonary vasculopathy with high mortality and morbidity and its underlying pathogenesis is still poorly delineated.The hyperproliferation and apoptosis resistance of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)contributes to pulmonary vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension,which is closely linked to the downregulation of forkhead box transcriptional factor O1(FoxO1)and apoptotic protein caspase 3(Cas-3).Here,PA-targeted co-delivery of a FoxO1 stimulus(paclitaxel,PTX)and Cas-3 was exploited to alleviate monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension.The co-delivery system is prepared by loading the active protein on paclitaxel-crystal nanoparticles,followed by a glucuronic acid coating to target the glucose transporter-1 on the PASMCs.The co-loaded system(170 nm)circulates in the blood over time,accumulates in the lung,effectively targets the PAs,and profoundly regresses the remodeling of pulmonary arteries and improves hemodynamics,leading to a decrease in pulmonary arterial pressure and Fulton's index.Our mechanistic studies suggest that the targeted co-delivery system alleviates experimental pulmonary hypertension primarily via the regression of PASMC proliferation by inhibiting cell cycle progression and promoting apoptosis.Taken together,this targeted co-delivery approach offers a promising avenue to target PAs and cure the intractable vasculopathy in pulmonary hypertension.Bingbing Li Chao Teng Huiling Yu Xiaohong Jiang Xuyang Xing Qi Jiang Chenshi Lin Zongmin Zhao Ruifeng Zhang Wei He 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6:1

10OTFS Modulation and PAPR Reduction for IoT-Railways显示文摘The internet of things(IoT)has been widely considered to be integrated with high-speed railways to improve safety and service.It is important to achieve reliable communication in IoT for railways(IoT-R)under high mobility scenarios and strict energy constraints.Orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)modulation is a two-dimensional modulation technique that has the potential to overcome the challenges in high Doppler environments.In addition,OTFS can have lower peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)compared to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,which is especially important for the application of IoT-R.Therefore,OTFS modulation for IoT-R is investigated in this paper.In order to decrease PAPR of OTFS and promote the application of OTFS modulation in IoT-R,the peak windowing technique is used in this paper.This technique can reduce the PAPR of OTFS by reducing the peak power and does not require multiple iterations.The impacts of different window functions,window sizes and clipping levels on PAPR and bit error rate of OTFS are simulated and discussed.The simulation results show that the peak windowing technique can efficiently reduce the PAPR of OTFS for IoT-R.Huichao Shang Ruifeng Chen Haoxiang Zhang Guoyu Ma Ruisi He Bo Ai Zhangdui Zhong 2023China Communications2023,20,1:1
11Integrative Analysis of Genome,3D Genome,and Transcriptome Alterations of Clinical Lung Cancer Samples显示文摘Genomic studies of cancer cell alterations,such as mutations,copy number variations(CNVs),and translocations,greatly promote our understanding of the genesis and development of cancers.However,the 3D genome architecture of cancers remains less studied due to the complexity of cancer genomes and technical difficulties.To explore the 3D genome structure in clinical lung cancer,we performed Hi-C experiments using paired normal and tumor cells harvested from patients with lung cancer,combining with RNA sequenceing analysis.We demonstrated the feasibility of studying 3D genome of clinical lung cancer samples with a small number of cells(1×10^(4)),compared the genome architecture between clinical samples and cell lines of lung cancer,and identified conserved and changed spatial chromatin structures between normal and cancer samples.We also showed that Hi-C data can be used to infer CNVs and point mutations in cancer.By integrating those different types of cancer alterations,we showed significant associations between CNVs,3D genome,and gene expression.We propose that 3D genome mediates the effects of cancer genomic alterations on gene expression through altering regulatory chromatin structures.Our study highlights the importance of analyzing 3D genomes of clinical cancer samples in addition to cancer cell lines and provides an integrative genomic analysis pipeline for future larger-scale studies in lung cancer and other cancers.Tingting Li Ruifeng Li Xuan Dong Lin Shi Miao Lin Ting Peng Pengze Wu Yuting Liu Xiaoting Li Xuheng He Xu Han Bin Kang Yinan Wang Zhiheng Liu Qing Chen Yue Shen Mingxiang Feng Xiangdong Wang Duojiao Wu Jian Wang Cheng Li 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,5:1
12Multi-Scale Superhydrophobic Anti-Icing Coating for Wind Turbine Blades显示文摘As a surface functional material,super-hydrophobic coating has great application potential in wind turbine blade anti-icing,self-cleaning and drag reduction.In this study,ZnO and SiO2 multi-scale superhydrophobic coatings with mechanical flexibility were prepared by embedding modified ZnO and SiO2 nanoparticles in PDMS.The prepared coating has a higher static water contact angle(CA is 153°)and a lower rolling angle(SA is 3.3°),showing excellent super-hydrophobicity.Because of its excellent superhydrophobic ability and micro-nano structure,the coating has good anti-icing ability.Under the conditions of−10C and 60%relative humidity,the coating can delay the freezing time by 1511S,which is 10.7 times slower than the normal freezing time.More importantly,due to the mechanical properties provided by SiO2 and the synergistic effect of micro-nano particles,the coating has excellent mechanical durability.After 10 wear tests,the contact angle of the coating is still as high as 141°and the rolling angle is 6.8°.This research provides a theoretical reference for the preparation of a mechanically stable coating with a simple preparation process,as well as a basic research on the anti-icing behavior of the coating.Jiangyong Bao Jianjun He Biao Chen Kaijun Yang Jun Jie Ruifeng Wang Shihao Zhang 2021Energy Engineering2021,118,4:1

17Variation and relationship between soil moisture and environmental factors in the source region of the Yangtze River from 2005 to 2016显示文摘This study analyzed soil moisture,soil erosion,and vegetation in the source region of the Yangtze River from 2005 to 2016.We found that soil moisture showed an increasing trend from 2005 to 2009 but decreased from 2009 to 2016.The surface soil moisture was severely affected by seasonal changes in the source region of the Yangtze River,especially in the soil from 0 to 40 cm.However,seasonal variation of soil moisture deeper than 40 cm was different from that in the upper layer.Soil moisture below 40 cm wasn't affected by the seasonal variation.Soil moisture from 0 to 50 cm and the average thickness of wind deposition showed a positive correlation in the study area from 2005 to 2016.For environmental protection in the source region of the Yangtze River,wind deposition played a role in water retention.Similarly,a positive correlation also existed between the average thickness of wind erosion and soil moisture.Deep-soil moisture was the key factor for vegetation structure on the Qinghai?Tibet Plateau.The results are also helpful for further understanding the variation of soil moisture on the Tibetan Plateau and providing a scientific basis for effectively protecting and controlling the ecological environment in the future.LingLing Song ZongJie Li Qing Tian LieFu Wang Jing He RuiFeng Yuan Juan Gui BaiJuan Zhang YueMin Lv 2019Research in Cold and Arid Regions2019,11,3:0

19Nuclear peripheral chromatin-lamin B1 interaction is required for global integrity of chromatin architecture and dynamics in human cells显示文摘The eukaryotic genome is folded into higher-order conformation accompanied with constrained dynamics for coordinated genome functions.However,the molecular machinery underlying these hierarchically organized three-dimensional(3D)chromatin architecture and dynamics remains poorly understood.Here by combining imaging and sequencing,we studied the role of lamin B1 in chromatin architecture and dynamics.We found that lamin B1 depletion leads to detachment of lamina-associated domains(LADs)from the nuclear periphery accompanied with global chromatin redistribution and decompaction.Consequently,the interchromosomal as well as inter-compartment interactions are increased,but the structure of topologically associating domains(TADs)is not affected.Using live-cell genomic loci tracking,we further proved that depletion of lamin B1 leads to increased chromatin dynamics,owing to chromatin decompaction and redistribution toward nucleoplasm.Taken together,our data suggest that lamin B1 and chromatin interactions at the nuclear periphery promote LAD maintenance,chromatin compaction,genomic compartmentalization into chromosome territories and A/B compartments and confine chromatin dynamics,supporting their crucial roles in chromatin higher-order structure and chromatin dynamics.Lei Chang Mengfan Li Shipeng Shao Chen Li Shanshan Ai Boxin Xue Yingping Hou Yiwen Zhang Ruifeng Li Xiaoying Fan Aibin He Cheng Li Yujie Sun 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,4:0
20Petroleum geological features and hydrocarbon enrichment of Linhe Depression in Hetao Basin, NW China显示文摘Based on paleogeomorphology, drilling and seismic data, this paper systematically studies the structural and sedimentary evolution, source rock characteristics, reservoir characteristics and formation mechanism, hydrocarbon accumulation model and enrichment law in the Linhe Depression of the Hetao Basin, NW China. The Hetao Basin mainly experienced three stages of evolution, namely, weak extensional fault depression, strong extensional fault depression and strike-slip transformation, giving rise to four positive structural belts(Jilantai, Shabu, Nalinhu and Xinglong), which are favorable areas for oil and gas accumulation. The two main saline lacustrine source rocks, Lower Cretaceous Guyang Formation and Oligocene Linhe Formation, are characterized by high sulfur content, rich algae, early maturity, early expulsion, and wide oil generation window. The large structural transition belt in the intermountain area around the Hetao Basin controls the formation of large-scale braided river delta deposits, which are characterized by high quartz content(50%-76%), long-term shallow burial and weak compaction, low cement content, and good reservoir properties in delta front sandbody. The burial depth of the effective Paleogene reservoirs is predicted to reach 8000 m. Three hydrocarbon accumulation models, nose-uplift near sag, buried hill surrounding sag, fault nose near source rock, are constructed.
