1Geological Features and Reservoiring Mode of Shale Gas Reservoirs in Longmaxi Formation of the Jiaoshiba Area显示文摘This study is based on the sedimentation conditions, organic geochemistry, storage spaces, physical properties, lithology and gas content of the shale gas reservoirs in Longmaxi Formation of the Jiaoshiba area and the gas accumulation mode is summarized and then compared with that in northern America. The shale gas reservoirs in the Longmaxi Formation in Jiaoshiba have good geological conditions, great thickness of quality shales, high organic content, high gas content, good physical properties, suitable depth, good preservation conditions and good reservoir types. The quality shales at the bottom of the deep shelf are the main target interval for shale gas exploration and development. Shale gas in the Longmaxi Formation has undergone three main reservoiring stages:the early stage of hydrocarbon generation and compaction when shale gas reservoirs were first formed; the middle stage of deep burial and large-scale hydrocarbon generation, which caused the enrichment of reservoirs with shale gas; the late stage of uplift, erosion and fracture development when shale gas reservoirs were finally formed.GUO Xusheng HU Dongfeng LI Yuping LIU Ruobing WANG Qingbo 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,6:28
2A Day-ahead Economic Dispatch Method Considering Extreme Scenarios Based on Wind Power Uncertainty显示文摘As the intermittency of wind power is a growing concern in the day-ahead economic dispatch,this paper proposes a day-ahead economic dispatch method considering extreme scenarios of wind power by using an uncertainty set.The uncertainty set inspired by robust optimization is used to describe wind power intermittency in this paper.Four extreme scenarios based on the uncertainty set are formulated to represent the worst cases of wind power fluctuation.An economic dispatch method considering the costs of both load shedding and wind curtailment is proposed.The economic dispatch model can be easily solved by a quadratic programming method owing to the introduction of four extreme scenarios and the uncertainty set of wind power.Simulation is done using the IEEE 30-bus system and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.Jian Xu Bao Wang Yuanzhang Sun Qi Xu Ji Liu Huiqiu Cao Haiyan Jiang Ruobing Lei Mengjun Shen 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:5
3Temporal lobe epilepsy animal model established by stereotaxic microinjection of kainic acid显示文摘BACKGROUND: Kainic acid can be used to induce a model of epilepsy by systemic injection, such as intraperitoneal or subcutaneous injection. Individual rats have different responses to kainic acid, therefore high doses of drug are required and the success rate of model induction is low. It is necessary to develop an improved method to establish a temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) animal model. OBJECTIVE: To explore an economic, stable and efficient method of establishing a TLE animal model. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A completely randomized, controlled study. The experiments were performed in the Cellular Function Laboratory of the Physiology Department, Anhui Medical University from March to July 2007. MATERIALS: Twenty adult male Wistar rats, weighing 230–260 g, were provided by the Experimental Animal Centre of Nanjing Medical University. Kainic acid was purchased from Sigma in USA. Type SN-2 stereotaxic apparatus was made by Narishge in Japan. METHODS: Wistar rats were randomly divided into a kainic acid (KA) group (n = 12) and a normal saline (NS) group (n = 8). For intrahippocampal microinjection, a burr hole was drilled in the skull at the following stereotaxic coordinates: anteroposterior (AP) 4.1 mm caudal to bregma; lateral (ML) 4.2 mm right lateral to the midline. Rats in the KA group were injected with 2.5 μL KA (0.4 g/L) into the center of the CA3 region, while in the NS group the same volume of NS was injected into the same site. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Both groups were monitored under a video capture system for 12 weeks to record spontaneous seizures. Intracranial eletroencepholograph (IEEG) recordings in vivo were performed after the behavioral observations. After the IEEG recordings, hippocampi were processed into coronal sections. Nissl and Timm stainings were then performed to observe and confirm pathology. RESULTS: Twenty rats were involved in the final analysis. Behavioral observations: the earliest spontaneous onset of epilepsy appeared 2 weeks after injection of KA. Eight rats had spontaneous onset of epilepsy 3–12 weeks after treatment. None of rats in the NS group had spontaneous onset of epilepsy. IEEG recordings: Epileptic-form waves, such as sharp waves and spike waves, were calculated by artificial analysis. The number of epileptic-form waves in the KA group increased significantly compared to those of the NS group (P < 0.01). Morphology results: In the KA group, Nissl staining and Timm staining revealed typical pathology in the hippocampal temporosphenoid lobe. In the NS group, no pathology was observed. 9Reliable Ge_(2)Sb_(2)Te_(5) based phase-change electronic synapses using carbon doping and programmed pulses显示文摘Hardware electronic synapse and neuro-inspired computing system based on phase change random access memory(PCRAM)have attracted an extensive investigation.However,due to the intrinsic asymmetric reversible phase transition,the defective weight update of PCRAM synapses in aspects of tuning range,linearity and continuity has long required a system-level complexity of circuits and al-gorithms.The cell-level improvements to a great extent may slim the system thus achieving efficient computing.We report in this work the great enhancement of Ge_(2)Sb_(2)Te_(5)(GST)based PCRAM synapses by combining materials engineering and pulse programming.It is found that carbon doping in GST retards the rate of phase changing thus increasing the controllability of the conductance,while non-linear programmable pulse excitations can eventually lead to a reliable synaptic potentiation and depression.A set of improved programmable pulse schemes for spike-timing dependent plasticity was then demonstrated,suggesting its potential superiority in flexible programming and reliable data collection.Our methods and results are of great significance for implementing PCRAM electronic synapses and high-performance neuro-inspired computing.Qiang Wang Gang Niu Ruobing Wang Ren Luo Zuo-Guang Ye Jinshun Bi Xi Li Zhitang Song Wei Ren Sannian Song 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:1

11Interfacial bonding enhancement of the RTV recoating with sandwiched contaminant by plasma jet显示文摘Room temperature vulcanised(RTV)silicone rubber is widely used in electrical power system,applied to the glass or porcelain insulator surface to enhance insulation.RTV coatings get contaminated after long-term operation and need to be recoated.Contaminants accumulate and embed into the surface of base RTV coating,forming a hard-to-remove inorganic transition layer.Such sandwiched contaminant layer destroys the adhesion between original and reapplied silicone rubber coating greatly.Authors’study innovatively reports a method to enhance interfacial bond properties of the RTV recoating with sandwiched contaminant layer,by using an atmospheric-pulsed discharge plasma jet(APPJ)for surface treatment.Water boiling test and 180-degree peel test were conducted to evaluate interfacial bond properties macroscopically.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)was applied to observe the cross-section of recoating interface,while Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)to detect chemical changes of contaminant layer,giving out microscopic and theoretical explanation.Shanshan Wang Shuang Li Jianjun Li Ruobing Zhang Hui Liu 2019High Voltage2019,4,4:1
12Phase-change memory based on matched Ge-Te,Sb-Te,and In-Te octahedrons:Improved electrical performances and robust thermal stability显示文摘Phase-change memory(PCM)has been developed for three-dimensional(3D)data storage devices,posing huge challenges to the thermal stability and reliability of PCM.However,the low thermal stability of Ge2Sb2Te5(GST)limits further application.Here,we demonstrate PCM based on In0.9Ge2Sb2Te5(IGST)alloy,showing 180C 10-years data retention,6 ns set speed,one order of magnitude longer life time,and 75%reduced power consumption compared to GST-based device.The In can occupy the cationic positions and the In-Te octahedrons with good phase-change properties can geometrically match well with the host Ge-Te and Sb-Te octahedrons,acting as nucleation centers to boost the set speed and enhance the endurance of IGST device.Introducing stable matched phase-change octahedrons can be a feasible way to achieve practical PCMs.Ruobing Wang Zhitang Song Wenxiong Song Tianjiao Xin Shilong Lv Sannian Song Jun Liu 2021InfoMat2021,3,9:1

16Cryo-EM structures of PAC1 receptor reveal ligand binding mechanism显示文摘The pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide type I receptor(PAC1R)belongs to the secretin receptor family and is widely distributed in the central neural system and peripheral organs.Abnormal activation of the receptor mediates trigeminovascular activation and sensitization,which is highly related to migraine,making PAC1R a potential therapeutic target.Elucidation of PAC1R activation mechanism would benefit discovery of therapeutic drugs for neuronal disorders.PAC1R activity is governed by pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide(PACAP),known as a major vasodilator neuropeptide,and maxadilan,a native peptide from the sand fly,which is also capable of activating the receptor with similar potency.These peptide ligands have divergent sequences yet initiate convergent PAC1R activity.It is of interest to understand the mechanism of PAC1R ligand recognition and receptor activity regulation through structural biology.Here we report two near-atomic resolution cryo-EM structures of PAC1R activated by PACAP38 or maxadilan,providing structural insights into two distinct ligand binding modes.The structures illustrate flexibility of the extracellular domain(ECD)for ligands with distinct conformations,where ECD accommodates ligands in different orientations while extracellular loop 1(ECU)protrudes to further anchor the ligand bound in the orthosteric site.By structureguided molecular modeling and mutagenesis,we tested residues in the ligand-binding pockets and identified clusters of residues that are critical for receptor activity.The structures reported here for the first time elucidate the mechanism of specificity and flexibility of ligand recognition and binding for PACT R,and provide insights toward the design of therapeutic molecules targeting PAC1R.Jia Wang Xianqiang Song Dandan Zhang Xiaoqing Chen Xun Li Yaping Sun Cui Li Yunpeng Song Yao Ding Ruobing Ren Essa Hu Harrington Liaoyuan AHu Wenge Zhong Cen Xu Xin Huang Hong-Wei Wang Yingli Ma 2020Cell Research2020,30,5:1

18Study on the interaction mechanism of virgin olive oil polyphenols with mucin and α-amylase显示文摘The interaction mechanism of mucin and α-amylase with virgin olive oil (VOO) polyphenols (oleuropein (OL),tyrosol (TY),hydroxytyrosol (HT)) was analyzed by fluorescence,ultraviolet (UV) absorption,attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR),circular dichroic (CD) spectroscopy and molecular docking.A total of 17 polyphenols have been identified in the selected VOO,and the TY,HT and OL were the main compounds.The quenching mechanism between mucin/α-amylase and three VOO polyphenols was static,mainly through van der Waals forces and hydrogen bonds.The results of UV absorption,ATR-FTIR,and CD spectroscopy revealed that the conformation of mucin changed after combining with the three polyphenols,while that of the α-amylase changed little.Molecular docking predicted the interaction sites of the three polyphenols with human salivary mucin and α-amylase.The present study could provide the theoretical foundation for further research on the interaction between human salivary protein and phenolic compounds in VOO.Gangcheng Wu Ruobing Mao Yiren Zhang Ling Zhu Emad Karrar Hui Zhang Qingzhe Jin Xingguo Wang 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:1
