| 2 | Endoscopic ultrasonography-guided trucut biopsy for the preoperative diagnosis of peripancreatic castleman's disease: A case report显示文摘Castleman's disease (CD) of the pancreas/peripancreas is extremely rare. The recently introduced, endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS)-guided trucut biopsy (TCB) is a useful diagnostic modality for obtaining tissue samples from peripancreatic lesions. However, its role in diagnosing CD remains unknown. We report a case of localized, peripancreatic, hyaline-vascular CD biopsied using EUS. The pathology results were initially interpreted as an extranodal, marginal-zone B-cell lymphoma. However, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) study for the IgH gene rearrangement revealed a polyclonal pattern. We also reviewed the relevant literature. | 3 | Aqueous organic redox flow batteries显示文摘Redox flow batteries(RFBs)are promising candidates to establish a grid-scale energy storage system for intermittent energy sources.While the current technology of vanadium RFBs has been widely exploited across the world,the rise in the price of vanadium and its limited volumetric energy density have necessitated the development of new kinds of redox active molecules.Organic molecules can be used as new and economical redox couples in RFBs to address these issues.In addition,the redox organic species also provide ample advantages to increase the voltage and solubility,provide multiple numbers of electron transfer,and ensure electrochemical/chemical stability by molecular engineering through simple synthetic methods.This review focuses on the recent developments in aqueous organic RFBs,including the molecular design and the corresponding cycling performance as these organic redox molecules are employed as either the negolyte or posolyte.Various strategies for tuning the electrochemical/chemical characteristics of organic molecules have improved their solubility,redox potential cycling stability,and crossover issue across a separating membrane.We also put forward new strategies using nanotechnology and our perspective for the future development of this rapidly growing field. | Vikram Singh Soeun Kim Jungtaek Kang Hye Ryung Byon | 2019 | Nano Research2019，12，9： | 5 |
| 4 | Prognostic value of 18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography in resectable colorectal cancer显示文摘AIM:To assess the prognostic value of preoperative 18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography(FDG-PET)/computed tomography(CT) in patients with resectable colorectal cancer.METHODS:One hundred sixty-three patients with resectable colorectal cancer who underwent FDG-PET/CT before surgery were included.Patient data including pathologic stage at presentation,histology,treatment,disease-free survival and the maximum standardized uptake value(SUVmax) of the primary tumor on FDG-PET/CT were retrospectively analyzed.Median follow up duration was 756(range,419-1355).The primary end point was disease-free survival.RESULTS:Twenty-five of 163 patients(15.3%) had recurrences.The median SUVmax values of the recurrence and no-recurrence groups were 8.9(range,5-24) and 8.2(range,0-23,P = 0.998).Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis showed no significant association between SUVmax and recurrence(area under the curve = 0.5,P = 0.998,95% CI:0.389-0.611).Because a statistically significant value was not found,SUVmax was dichotomized at its median of 8.6.The disease-free survival curve was analyzed using the median SUVmax(8.6) as the cut off.Univariate and multivariate analysis did not provide evidence that disease-free survival rates for the subgroups defined by the median SUVmax were significantly different(P = 0.52,P = 0.25).CONCLUSION:Our study suggests that the high FDG uptake of primary mass in resectable colorectal cancer doesn't have a significant relationship with tumor recurrence and disease-free survival. | Jang Eun Lee Sang Woo Kim Jin Su Kim Kyu Yong Choi Won Kyung Kang Seong Taek Oh Ie Ryung Yoo Sung Hoon Kim | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012，18，36： | 3 |
