1Whole genome sequencing of 10K patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack: design, methods and baseline patient characteristics显示文摘Background and purpose Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of mortality and long-term disability in China,but its underlying risk genes and pathways are far from being comprehensively understood.We here describe the design and methods of whole genome sequencing(WGS)for 10914 patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-III).Methods Baseline clinical characteristics of the included patients in this study were reported.DNA was extracted from white blood cells of participants.Libraries are constructed using qualified DNA,and WGS is conducted on BGISEQ-500 platform.The average depth is intended to be greater than 30×for each subject.Afterwards,Sentieon software is applied to process the sequencing data under the Genome Analysis Toolkit best practice guidance to call genotypes of single nucleotide variants(SNVs)and insertion-deletions.For each included subject,21 fingerprint SNVs are genotyped by MassARRAY assays to verify that DNA sample and sequencing data originate from the same individual.The copy number variations and structural variations are also called for each patient.All of the genetic variants are annotated and predicted by bioinformatics software or by reviewing public databases.Results The average age of the included 10914 patients was 62.2±11.3 years,and 31.4%patients were women.Most of the baseline clinical characteristics of the 10914 and the excluded patients were balanced.Conclusions The WGS data together with abundant clinical and imaging data of CNSR-III could provide opportunity to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and discover novel therapeutic targets for stroke.Si Cheng Zhe Xu Yang Liu Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Yilong Wang Xia Meng Anxin Wang Xinying Huang Zhimin Wang Guohua Chen Songdi Wu Zhengchang Jia Yongming Chen Xuerong Qiu Jun Wu Binbin Song Weizhong Ji Zhongping An Wenjun Xue Lili Zhao Yu Geng Hongyan Li Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:8
2Recent advances in system reliability optimization driven by importance measures显示文摘System reliability optimization problems have been widely discussed to maximize system reliability with resource constraints.Bimbaum importance is a wellknown method for evaluating the effect of component reliability on system reliability.Many importance measures(IMs)are extended for binary,multistate,and continuous systems from different aspects based on the Bimbaum importance.Recently,these IMs have been applied in allocating limited resources to the component to maximize system performance.Therefore,the significance of Bimbaum importance is illustrated from the perspective of probability principle and gradient geometrical sense.Furthermore,the equations of various extended IMs are provided subsequently.The rules for simple optimization problems are summarized to enhance system reliability by using ranking or heuristic methods based on IMs.The importance-based optimization algorithms for complex or large-scale systems are generalized to obtain remarkable solutions by using IM-based local search or simplification methods.Furthermore,a general framework driven by IM is developed to solve optimization problems.Finally,some challenges in system reliability optimization that need to be solved in the future are presented.Shubin SI Jiangbin ZHAO Zhiqiang CAI Hongyan DUI 2020Frontiers of Engineering Management2020,7,3:5
3Learning Bayesian network structure with immune algorithm显示文摘Finding out reasonable structures from bulky data is one of the difficulties in modeling of Bayesian network(BN), which is also necessary in promoting the application of BN. This paper proposes an immune algorithm based method(BN-IA) for the learning of the BN structure with the idea of vaccination. Furthermore, the methods on how to extract the effective vaccines from local optimal structure and root nodes are also described in details.Finally, the simulation studies are implemented with the helicopter convertor BN model and the car start BN model. 6Dynamic Response of Tension Plate for UHVDC Transmission Lines Under Ice Shedding Loads显示文摘Ice shedding problems have severely threatened the safety of overhead transmission lines and caused enormous ruptures or failures of the conductors and their accessories.It is of great importance to study the dynamic properties of the transmission lines under ice shedding loads.To perform such analysis,the dynamic behavior of two typical strain sections for UHVDC transmission lines under different ice shedding conditions were simulated in this paper.Then,the dynamic response of the key tension plate as well as its buckling properties was analyzed based on the extacted ice shedding results.Finally,laboratory tests were conducted at the China Electric Power Research Institute to assess the critical value of the buckling of the tension plate.The results show that the key tension plate studied in this paper is primarily influenced by the loads along the transmission lines after taking its dynamic response and buckling properties under synthetic ice shedding conditions into consideration.The short-term fluctuation of the tension should be the major focus in tension plate designs.Jiajun Si Lixian Zhou Kuanjun Zhu Hongyan Zhao Bin Liu Xiaoming Rui Shengchun Liu 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,3:1

9Preparation of Amide-Containing Insecticidal Derivatives from the Renewable Natural Productβ-Pinene显示文摘The preparation of bioactive derivatives from the renewable natural product pinene is a hot research topic in the deep processing and utilization of pinene.In this study,β-pinene was used to develop novel molecules as a promising new precursor of insecticide.A series of amide-containing derivatives ofβ-pinene were synthesized and characterized.The insecticidal activities of these derivatives against Mythimna separate and Semiaphis heraclei were tested.The structure characterization results showed that the characterization data of amide-containing derivatives were in full agreement with their proposed structures.The insecticidal activities evaluation results indicated that amide-containing derivatives exhibited weak insecticidal activity against Mythimna separate,but exhibited moderate to good insecticidal activity against Semiaphis heraclei.After testing for 72 h,the corrected mortality against Semiaphis heraclei of compounds 5c,5e,5f,5 h,5j,and 5 m was 100%at 1000 mg/L.The structure-activity relationship analysis results showed that the introduction of an amide group into the structure of derivatives improved their insecticidal activity against Semiaphis heraclei.Meanwhile,the amide-containing derivatives containing the F and NO_(2) substituted benzene ring might improve their insecticidal activity against Semiaphis heraclei.This study will be helpful for the high value-added utilization of the natural renewable resourceβ-pinene and the development of novel insecticides.Jiulong Wang Yanqing Gao Xiaoping Rao Zongde Wang Shibin Shang Zhanqian Song Hongyan Si Shengliang Liao 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,5:0
10Research on perception of juncturebetween syllables in Chinese显示文摘For Chinese synthesis systems that use syllables as basic units, the perception of between-syllable juncture is a matter of interest. In this paper, a two-step perception test to investigate the perception property of formani transition is presented. The first step is a set of exploring tests, from which it is found that subjects can not distinguish whether the formants of two successive syllables are transited smoothly. The second step perception test is disigned to investigate the perception of formant transitions on a more thorough environment. The stimuli of the test are disyllabic words, which cover various phonemic structures and tonal combinations. Both the average person and specialists on phonetics and speech technology are invested to be subjects. Results of the second step test are consistent with those of the flrst step. 11Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity response to SARS-CoV-2 in COVID-19 patients显示文摘Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC)responses to viral infection are a form of antibody regulated immune responses mediated through the Fc fragment.Whether severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)triggered ADCC responses contributes to COVID-19 disease development is currently not well understood.To understand the potential correlation between ADCC responses and COVID-19 disease development,we analyzed the ADCC activity and neutralizing antibody response in 255 individuals ranging from asymptomatic to fatal infections over 1 year post disease.ADCC was elicited by 10 days post-infection,peaked by 11-20 days,and remained detectable until 400 days post-infection.In general,patients with severe disease had higher ADCC activities.Notably,patients who had severe disease and recovered had higher ADCC activities than patients who had severe disease and deceased.Importantly,ADCC activities were mediated by a diversity of epitopes in SARS-COV-2-infected mice and induced to comparable levels against SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern(VOCs)(B.1.1.7,B.1.351,and P.1)as that against the D614G mutant in human patients and vaccinated mice.Our study indicates anti-SARS-CoV-2 ADCC as a major trait of COVID-19 patients with various conditions,which can be applied to estimate the extra-neutralization level against COVID-19,especially lethal COVID-19.Yuanling Yu Meiyu Wang Xiaoai Zhang Shufen Li Qingbin Lu Haolong Zeng Hongyan Hou Hao Li Mengyi Zhang Fei Jiang Jiajing Wu Ruxia Ding Zehua Zhou Min Liu Weixue Si Tao Zhu Hangwen Li Jie Ma Yuanyuan Gu Guangbiao She Xiaokun Li Yulan Zhang Ke Peng Weijin Huang Wei Liu Youchun Wang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,10:0
12Functional Polypyridine Co Complex as an Efficient Catalyst for Photo-Induced Water Oxidation显示文摘A novel mononuclear cobalt complex 1 was synthesized by treatment of CoC12o6H20 with a COOMe func-tionalized TPA ligand (TPA=tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine). In a basic borate buffer, 1 acts as an efficient catalyst forwater oxidation, which is confirmed by an extinct catalytic oxidant wave in electrochemistry. Visible light-drivenwater oxidation has been achieved by 1 with a TON of 127.7 and a TOF of 3.8 s^-1 respectively in a homogeneoussystem. 13Functional and phylogenetic structures of pheasants in China显示文摘Biodiversity has been subjected to increasing anthropogenic pressures.It is critical to understand the different processes that govern community assembly and species coexistence under biogeographic processes and anthropogenic events.Pheasants(Aves:Phasianidae)are highly threatened birds and China supports the richest pheasant species worldwide.Unravelling the spatial patterns and underlying factors associated with multidimensional biodiversity of species richness(SR),functional diversity(FD),and phylogenetic diversity(PD)of pheasants in China is helpful to understand not only the processes that govern pheasant community assembly and species coexistence,but also pheasant biodiversity conservation.We used a total of 45 pheasant species in China and analyzed the SR,FD,PD,and functional and phylogenetic structures by integrating species distribution maps,functional traits and phylogenies based on 50 km×50 km grid cells.We further used simultaneous autoregressive(SAR)models to explore the factors that determined these patterns.The southern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP),Hengduan Mountains,southwestern Mountains,the east of the Qilian Mountains,the Qinling,southern China displayed higher SR,FD,and PD,which were determined by elevation,habitat heterogeneity,temperature seasonality,and vegetation cover.Elevation primarily determined the functional and phylogenetic structures of the pheasant communities.Assemblages in the highlands were marked by functional and phylogenetic clustering,particularly in the QTP,whereas the lowlands in eastern China comprised community overdispersion.Clustered pheasant assemblages were composed of young lineages.Patterns of functional and phylogenetic structures and richness-controlled functional and phylogenetic diversity differed between regions,suggesting that phylogenetic structures are not a good proxy for identifying functional structures.We revealed the significant role of elevation in pheasant community assemblages in China.Highlands interacted with community clustering,whereas lowlands interacted with overdispersion,supporting the environmental filtering hypothesis.Biogeographical drivers other than anthropogenic factor determined biodiversity of pheasants at the present scale of China.This study provides complementary background resources for multi-dimensional pheasant biodiversity and provides insights into avian biodiversity patterns in China.Hongyan Yao Pengcheng Wang Nan Wang Philip J.K.McGowan Xingfeng Si Jianqiang Li Jiliang Xu 2022Avian Research2022,13,3:0
