| 1 | Dynamic Modeling and Simulation of Multi-body Systems Using the Udwadia-Kalaba Theory显示文摘Laboratory experiments were conducted for falling U-chain,but explicit analytic form of the general equations of motion was not presented.Several modeling methods were developed for fish robots,however they just focused on the whole fish's locomotion which does little favor to understand the detailed swimming behavior of fish.Udwadia-Kalaba theory is used to model these two multi-body systems and obtain explicit analytic equations of motion.For falling U-chain,the mass matrix is non-singular.Second-order constraints are used to get the constraint force and equations of motion and the numerical simulation is conducted.Simulation results show that the chain tip falls faster than the freely falling body.For fish robot,two-joint Carangiform fish robot is focused on.Quasi-steady wing theory is used to approximately calculate fluid lift force acting on the caudal fin.Based on the obtained explicit analytic equations of motion(the mass matrix is singular),propulsive characteristics of each part of the fish robot are obtained.Through these two cases of U chain and fish robot,how to use Udwadia-Kalaba equation to obtain the dynamical model is shown and the modeling methodology for multi-body systems is presented.It is also shown that Udwadia-Kalaba theory is applicable to systems whether or not their mass matrices are singular.In the whole process of applying Udwadia-Kalaba equation,Lagrangian multipliers and quasi-coordinates are not used.Udwadia-Kalaba theory is creatively applied to dynamical modeling of falling U-chain and fish robot problems and explicit analytic equations of motion are obtained. | ZHAO Han ZHEN Shengchao CHEN Ye-Hwa | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,5: | 22 |

| 4 | Adaptive Robust Control for a Lower Limbs Rehabilitation Robot Running Under Passive Training Mode显示文摘This paper focuses on the problem of the adaptive robust control of a lower limbs rehabilitation robot(LLRR) that is a nonlinear system running under passive training mode. In reality, uncertainties including modeling error, initial condition deviation, friction force and other unknown external disturbances always exist in a LLRR system. So, it is necessary to consider the uncertainties in the unilateral man-machine dynamical model of the LLRR we described. In the dynamical model, uncertainties are(possibly fast) time-varying and bounded. However, the bounds are unknown. Based on the dynamical model, we design an adaptive robust control with an adaptive law that is leakagetype based and on the framework of Udwadia-Kalaba theory to compensate for the uncertainties and to realize tracking control of the LLRR. | 9 | Analysis of changes in the Panax notoginseng glycerolipidome in response to long-term chilling and heat显示文摘Long-term moderately high or low temperatures can damage economically important plants.In the present study,we treated Panax notoginseng,an important traditional Chinese medicine,with temperatures of 10,20,and 30℃for 30 days.We then investigated P.notoginseng glycerolipidome responses to these moderate temperature stresses using an ESI/MS-MS-based lipidomic approach.Both long-term chilling(LTC,10℃)and long-term heat(LTH,30℃)decreased photo pigment levels and photosynthetic rate.LTH-induced degradation of photo pigments and glycerolipids may further cause the decline of photosynthesis and thereafter the senescence of leaves.LTC-induced photosynthesis decline is attributed to the degradation of photo synthetic pigments rather than the degradation of chloroplastidic lipids.P.notoginseng has an especially high level of lysophosphatidylglycerol,which may indicate that either P.notoginseng phospholipase A acts in a special manner on phosphatidylglycerol(PG),or that phospholipase B acts.The ratio of sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerol(SQDG)to PG increased significantly after LTC treatment,which may indicate that SQDG partially substitutes for PG.After LTC treatment,the increase in the degree of unsaturation of plastidic lipids was less than that of extraplastidic lipids,and the increase in the unsaturation of PG was the largest among the ten lipid classes tested.These results indicate that increasing the level of unsaturated PG may play a special role in maintaining the function and stability of P.notoginseng photosystems after LTC treatment. | Tao Liu Jia Chen Furong Xu Xiahong He Shengchao Yang Youyong Zhu Weiqi Li Guowei Zheng | 2020 | Plant Diversity2020,42,2: | 1 |

Fundamental equation of constrained mechanical systems is first obtained according to Udwadia-Kalaba approach which is applicable to holonomic and nonholonomic constrained systems no matter whether they satisfy the D’Alember’s principle.The performance specifications are modeled as servo constraints.Constraint-following servo control is used to realize the servo constraints. For this inverse dynamics control problem, the determination of control inputs is based on the Moore-Penrose generalized inverse to complete the specified motion. Secondorder constraints are used in the dynamics and servo control.Constraint violation suppression methods can be adopted to eliminate constraint drift in the numerical simulation. | 13 | Effects of Organic and Medium and Trace Element Fertilizers on Yield and Quality of Panax notoginseng显示文摘[Objectives]This study aimed to investigate the effects of organic and medium and trace element fertilizers(Ca,Zn,B)on yield and quality of Panax notoginseng to provide theoretical support for rational fertilization in cultivation of P.notoginseng.[Methods]Five fertilization treatments,control(CK),organic fertilizer(OM),zinc fertilizer(ZF),boron fertilizer(BF)and lime(LF),were designed.A two-consecutive-year field plot trail was conducted.The biological traits,yield and saponin content of P.notoginseng were determined.[Results]The application of organic fertilizer had no significant effect on the biological traits of P.notoginseng.Trace element fertilizers significantly increased the scape length of P.notoginseng.Among the treatments,ZF significantly increased the single flower weight but reduced the inflorescence diameter,while the effects of BF were opposite to those of ZF;LF significantly increased the stem thickness and reduced the plant height.All treatments significantly increased the seedling rate of three-year-old P.notoginseng,and the increase in the LF group(20.49%)was the largest,followed by those in the ZF(16.80%)and OM(16.40%)groups,and the increase in the BF group(13.08%)was the smallest.Although OM,ZF and BF treatments caused the root weight of individual plants to decrease,the final yield of each treatment was higher than that of the control group,and the increases in the BF and LF groups exceeded 17%(P<0.05).The total saponin outputs of all the treatments except OM were significantly higher than that of the control group.[Conclusions]Under the conditions of this test,the supplementation of organic and medium and trace element fertilizers on the basis of conventional fertilization will help to increase the yield of P.notoginseng.However,the reduction of the total saponin output of P.notoginseng caused by organic fertilizer cannot be ignored. | Yongquan ZHU Junwen CHEN Guangqiang LONG Tongbin ZHU Shusheng ZHU Shengchao YANG | 2020 | Medicinal Plant2020,11,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Comparative genomics reveals the diversification of triterpenoid biosynthesis and origin of ocotilloltype triterpenes in Panax显示文摘Gene duplication is assumed to be the major force driving the evolution of metabolite biosynthesis in plants.Freed from functional burdens,duplicated genes can mutate toward novelties until fixed due to selective fitness.However,the extent to which this mechanism has driven the diversification of metabolite biosynthesis remains to be tested.Here we performed comparative genomics analysis and functional characterization to evaluate the impact of gene duplication on the evolution of triterpenoid biosynthesis using Panax species as models.Wefound that whole-genome duplications(WGDs)occurred independently in Araliaceae and Apiaceae lineages.Comparative genomics revealed the evolutionary trajectories of triterpenoid biosynthesis in plants,which was mainly promoted by WGDs and tandem duplication.Lanosterol synthase(LAS)was likely derived from a tandemduplicate of cycloartenol synthase that predated the emergence of Nymphaeales.Under episodic diversifying selection,the LAS gene duplicates produced by g whole-genome triplication have given rise to triterpene biosynthesis in core eudicots through neofunctionalization.Moreover,functional characterization revealed that oxidosqualene cyclases(OSCs)responsible for synthesizing dammarane-type triterpenes in Panax species were also capable of producing ocotilloltype triterpenes.Genomic and biochemical evidence suggested that Panax genes encoding the above OSCs originated from the specialization of one OSC gene duplicate produced from a recent WGD shared by Araliaceae(Pg-b).Our results reveal the crucial role of gene duplication in diversification of triterpenoid biosynthesis in plants and provide insight into the origin of ocotillol-type triterpenes in Panax species. | Zijiang Yang Xiaobo Li Ling Yang Sufang Peng Wanling Song Yuan Lin Guisheng Xiang Ying Li Shuang Ye Chunhua Ma Jianhua Miao Guanghui Zhang Wei Chen Shengchao Yang Yang Dong | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,4: | 0 |
| 15 | Recognition System for Diagnosing Pneumonia and Bronchitis Using Children’s Breathing Sounds Based on Transfer Learning显示文摘Respiratory infections in children increase the risk of fatal lung disease,making effective identification and analysis of breath sounds essential.However,most studies have focused on adults ignoring pediatric patients whose lungs are more vulnerable due to an imperfect immune system,and the scarcity of medical data has limited the development of deep learning methods toward reliability and high classification accuracy.In this work,we collected three types of breath sounds from children with normal(120 recordings),bronchitis(120 recordings),and pneumonia(120 recordings)at the posterior chest position using an off-the-shelf 3M electronic stethoscope.Three features were extracted from the wavelet denoised signal:spectrogram,mel-frequency cepstral coefficients(MFCCs),and Delta MFCCs.The recog-nition model is based on transfer learning techniques and combines fine-tuned MobileNetV2 and modified ResNet50 to classify breath sounds,along with software for displaying analysis results.Extensive experiments on a real dataset demonstrate the effectiveness and superior performance of the proposed model,with average accuracy,precision,recall,specificity and F1 scores of 97.96%,97.83%,97.89%,98.89%and 0.98,respectively,achieving superior performance with a small dataset.The proposed detection system,with a high-performance model and software,can help parents perform lung screening at home and also has the potential for a vast screening of children for lung disease. | Jianying Shi Shengchao Chen Benguo Yu Yi Ren Guanjun Wang Chenyang Xue | 2023 | Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,37,9: | 0 |
| 16 | A New Species of Trimeresurus Lacépède, 1804(Squamata: Viperidae) from Southwestern China, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar显示文摘The pit vipers of the genus Trimeresurus Lacépède, 1804 is one of the largest groups of Asian snakes, distributed from India to China and Indonesia. Recent surveys in Jiangcheng and Simao, Yunnan Province, China resulted in a new species previously allocated to T. albolabris. Combining morphological and molecular data, we describe it as Trimeresurus guoi sp. nov. The new species morphologically differs from T. albolabris in the yellow green ventral color;an indistinct ventrolateral line;the a bsence of a postocular stripe;the firebrickred iris;a dark red stripe on dorsal tail;hemipenes with relatively weak sparse papillae, reaching 23 rd subcaudal when unextruded. Molecularly, the new species forms a clearly divergent lineage(BPP 1.00/UFB 100). | 17 | BATON:symphony of random testing and concolic testing through machine learning and taint analysis显示文摘Random testing is scalable but often fails to hit corner program behaviors,while systematic testing(e.g.,concolic execution)is promising to cover corner program behaviors but is not scalable to explore all program behaviors.Prior attempts to integrate random testing with systematic testing lack targeted guidance.In this paper,we propose a guided hybrid testing approach,named BATon,to synergize random testing with concolic testing.It integrates the knowledge inside test cases and their executions into a conditional execution graph,and uses such knowledge to guide test case generation.Specifically,we learn classification models for some conditionals in the conditional execution graph in a demand-driven way.These models are used to guide random testing to reach and cover partially-covered conditionals.We further employ targeted concolic testing to cover conditionals that cannot be fully covered by guided random testing.We implemented BATon for Java and evaluated it on three benchmarks.The results show that BATon improved branch coverage and mutation score over random testing by 16.2%–29.4%and 19.0%–30.0%,over adaptive random testing by 16.8%–33.8%and 19.4%–34.2%,over concolic testing by 2.3%–29.9%and 2.9%–30.1%,and over simple hybrid testing by 1.6%–14.5%and 1.4%–18.7%. | Bihuan CHEN Yang LIU Xin PENG Yijian WU Shengchao QIN | 2023 | Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,3: | 0 |
