2Strictly nonnegative tensors and nonnegative tensor partition显示文摘We introduce a new class of nonnegative tensors—strictly nonnegative tensors.A weakly irreducible nonnegative tensor is a strictly nonnegative tensor but not vice versa.We show that the spectral radius of a strictly nonnegative tensor is always positive.We give some necessary and su?cient conditions for the six wellconditional classes of nonnegative tensors,introduced in the literature,and a full relationship picture about strictly nonnegative tensors with these six classes of nonnegative tensors.We then establish global R-linear convergence of a power method for finding the spectral radius of a nonnegative tensor under the condition of weak irreducibility.We show that for a nonnegative tensor T,there always exists a partition of the index set such that every tensor induced by the partition is weakly irreducible;and the spectral radius of T can be obtained from those spectral radii of the induced tensors.In this way,we develop a convergent algorithm for finding the spectral radius of a general nonnegative tensor without any additional assumption.Some preliminary numerical results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.HU ShengLong HUANG ZhengHai QI LiQun 2014Science China Mathematics2014,57,1:12
3Convergence of a smoothing algorithm for symmetric cone complementarity problems with a nonmonotone line search显示文摘In this paper, we propose a smoothing algorithm for solving the monotone symmetric cone complementarity problems (SCCP for short) with a nonmonotone line search. We show that the nonmonotone algorithm is globally convergent under an assumption that the solution set of the problem concerned is nonempty. Such an assumption is weaker than those given in most existing algorithms for solving optimization problems over symmetric cones. 4(E)-Nerolidol is a volatile signal that induces defenses against insects and pathogens in tea plants显示文摘Plants release large amounts of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in response to attackers.Several VOCs can serve as volatile signals to elicit defense responses in undamaged tissues and neighboring plants,but many questions about the ecological functions of VOCs remain unanswered.Tea plants are impacted by two harmful invaders,the piercing herbivore Empoasca(Matsumurasca)onukii Matsuda and the pathogen Colletotrichum fructicola.To determine the VOC signals in tea,we confirmed CsOPR3 as a marker gene and set up a rapid screening method based on a 1.51 kb CsOPR3 promoter fused with aβ-glucuronidase(GUS)reporter construct(OPR3p::GUS)in Arabidopsis.Using this screening system,a terpenoid volatile(E)-nerolidol was identified as a potent signal that elicits plant defenses.The early responses triggered by(E)-nerolidol included the activation of a mitogen-activated protein kinase and WRKY,an H2O2 burst,and the induction of jasmonic acid and abscisic acid signaling.The induced plants accumulated high levels of defenserelated chemicals,which possessed broad-spectrum anti-herbivore or anti-pathogen properties,and ultimately triggered resistance against Empoasca onukii and Colletotrichum fructicola in tea.We propose that these findings can supply an environmentally friendly management strategy for controlling an insect pest and a disease of tea plants.Shenglong Chen Liping Zhang Xiaoming Cai Xin Li Lei Bian Zongxiu Luo Zhaoqun Li Zongmao Chen Zhaojun Xin 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:12
5Microstructure and mechanical properties of forged Al-7.1Zn-1.1Mg-1.6Cu-0.14Zr alloy after two-step ageing treatment at 120 and 170℃显示文摘The tensile properties,electrical conductivity,and microstructure of the forged Al-7.1Zn-1.1Mg-1.6Cu-0.14Zr alloy were investigated after a two-step ageing treatment at 120 and 170℃.The results indicate that the strength of the alloy reaches the peak value at 170℃ for 1 h during the second step ageing and then decreases sharply.However,the electrical conductivity value increases continuously with the second ageing time increasing.The fracture mechanism of the alloy is intergranular fracture for 1 h and then changes to dimple transgranular fracture later,and the toughness of the alloy is improved significantly.The phases of η' and η are major precipitates in the alloy under the two-step ageing condition.Discontinuous grain boundary precipitates and precipitate-free zones along the grain boundary are clearly observed.WANG Shaohua ZHANG Xingguo YANG Shoujie FANG Canfeng HAO Hai DAI Shenglong 2010Rare Metals2010,29,4:12

7Injectable bone cement with magnesium-containing microspheres enhances osteogenesis via anti-inflammatory immunoregulation显示文摘Injectable bone cement is especially useful in minimally invasive surgeries to repair small and irregular bone defects.Amongst different kinds of injectable bone cements,bioactive calcium phosphate bone cement(CPC)has been widely studied due to its biological activity.However,its dense structure and poor biodegradability prevent the ingrowth of living tissue,which leads to undesirable bone regeneration and clinical translation.To address this issue,we prepared bone cement based on Magnesium-containing microspheres(MMSs)that can not only be cured into a 3D porous scaffold but also have controllable biodegradability that continuously provides space for desired tissue ingrowth.Interestingly,magnesium ions released from MMSs cement(MMSC)trigger positive immunomodulation via upregulation of the anti-inflammatory genes IL-10 and M2 macrophage polarization with increased expression of CD206,which is beneficial to osteogenesis.Moreover,the physicochemical properties of MMSC,including heat release,rheology and setting time,can be tuned to meet the requirements of injectable bone cement for clinical application.Using a rat model,we have demonstrated that MMSC promoted osteogenesis via mediation of tissue ingrowth and anti-inflammatory immunomodulation.The study provides a paradigm for the design and preparation of injectable bone cements with 3D porous structures,biodegradability and anti-inflammatory immunoregulation to efficiently promote osteogenesis.Shenglong Tan Yifan Wang Yingying Du Yin Xiao Shengmin Zhang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:9
8Influence of Sputtered Nanocrystalline Coating on Oxidation and Hot Corrosion of a Nickel-based Superalloy M951显示文摘The isothermal and cyclic oxidation behaviors in air and hot corrosion behaviors in Na2SO4t 25 wt%K2SO4salt of M951 cast superalloy and a sputtered nanocrystalline coating of the same material were studied.Scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscope,X-ray diffraction,and transmission electron microscopy were employed to examine the morphologies and phase composition of the M951 alloy and nanocrystalline coating before and after oxidation and hot corrosion.The as-sputtered nanocrystalline layer has a homogeneous g phase structure of very fine grain size(30e200 nm)with the preferential growth texture of(111)parallel to the interface.Adherent Al2O3rich oxide scale formed on the cast M951 alloy and its sputtered coating after isothermal oxidation at 900 and 1000 C.However,when being isothermal oxidized at 1100 C and cyclic oxidized at 1000 C,the oxide scale formed on the cast alloy was a mixture of NiO,NiAl2O4,Al2O3and Nb2O5and spalled seriously,while that formed on the sputtered coating mainly consisted of Al2O3and was very adherent.Nanocrystallization promoted rapid formation of Al2O3scale during the early stage of oxidation and enhanced the adhesion of the oxide scale,thus improved the oxidation resistance of the substrate alloy.Serious corrosion occurred for the cast alloy.The sputtered nanocrystalline coating apparently improved the hot corrosion resistance of the cast alloy in the mixed sulfate by the formation of a continuous Al2O3and Cr2O3mixed oxide layer on the surface of the coating,and the preoxidation treatment of the coating led to an even better effect.Xinyue Wang Li Xin Fuhui Wang Shenglong Zhu Hua Wei Xiaolan Wang 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,9:9
9An online maximum power point capturing technique for highefficiency power generation of solar photovoltaic systems显示文摘This paper proposes a novel high-efficiency generation technique for photovoltaic(PV) system,named maximum power point capturing(MPPC) technique. This is an aperiodic perturbation MPPC technique compared to the conventional periodic perturbation maximum power point tracking technique. Firstly, under a closed-loop circuit and an open-loop circuit,the complete I-V curves and P-V curves are defined. Secondly, the proposed MPPC technique is based on the complete I-V curves and a practical model of solar PV systems.The proposed method realizes that maximum power point(MPP) is captured online, and its control strategy is designed to set a steady operating area around MPP. The duty cycle keeps constant when the operating point is within the steady operating area, i.e., aperiodic perturbation, and when the operating point is outside the steady operating area, MPPC is triggered to capture a new MPP with an updated steady operating area. Simulation results demonstrate that no oscillations exist in steady-state;dynamic performances are improved;and only two perturbations are required to capture the new MPP. 10Development of nutritious rice with high zinc/selenium and low cadmium in grains through QTL pyramiding显示文摘Enriching zinc(Zn) and selenium(Se) levels,while reducing cadmium(Cd) concentration in rice grains is of great benefit for human diet and health.Large natural variations in grain Zn, Se, and Cd concentrations in different rice accessions enable Zn/Sebiofortification and Cd-minimization through molecular breeding. Here, we report the development of new elite varieties by pyramiding major quantitative trait loci(QTLs) that significantly contribute to high Zn/Se and low Cd accumulation in grains. A chromosome segment substitution line CSSLGCC7 with the PA64s-derived GCC7 allele in the 93-11 background, exhibited steadily higher Mn and lower Cd concentrations in grains than those of 93-11. This elite chromosome segment substitution line(CSSL) was used as the core breeding material to cross with CSSLs harboring other major QTLs for essential mineral elements, especially CSSLGZC6 for grain Zn concentration and CSSLGSC5 for grain Se concentration. The CSSLGCC7+GZC6 and CSSLGCC7+GSC5 exhibited lower Cd concentration with higher Zn and Se concentrations in grains, respectively. 11Microstructure and composition evolution of a single-crystal superalloy caused by elements interdiffusion with an overlay NiCrAlY coating on oxidation显示文摘MCrAlY(M=Ni and/or Co)overlay coating is widely used as a protective coating against high temperature oxidation and corrosion.However,due to its big difference in chemical composition with the underlying superalloy,elements interdiffusion occurs inevitably.One of the direct results is the formation of interdiffusion zone(IDZ)and secondary reaction zone(SRZ)with a high density of fine topological closed-packed phases(TCPs),weakening dramatically the mechanical properties of the alloy substrate.It is by now the main problem of modern high-temperature metallic coatings,but there are still hardly any reports studying the formation,growth and transformation of IDZ and SRZ in deep,as well as the precipitation of TCPs.In this work,a typical NiCrAlY coating is deposited by arc ion plating on a single-crystal superalloy N5.Elements interdiffusion between them and its relationship on microstructure were clarified.Cr rather than Al from the coating diffuses into the alloy at high temperatures and segregates immediately beneath their interface,contributing largely to the formation of IDZ.Simultaneously,diffusion of Ni from the deep alloy to IDZ leads to the formation and continuous expansion of SRZ.Lanlan Yang Minghui Chen Jinlong Wang Yanxin Qiao Pingyi Guo Shenglong Zhu Fuhui Wang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,10:7

14Modification of NiCoCrAlY with Pt: Part Ⅱ. Application in TBC with pure metastable tetragonal(t’) phase YSZ and thermal cycling behavior显示文摘A thermal barrier coating system comprising Pt-modified NiCoCrAlY bond coating and nanostructured 4mol.% yttria stabilized zirconia(4YSZ, hereafter) top coat was fabricated on a second generation Ni-base superalloy. Thermal cycling behavior of NiCoCrAlY-4 YSZ thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) with and without Pt modification was evaluated in ambient air at 1100?C up to 1000 cycles, aiming to investigate the effect of Pt on formation of thermally grown oxide(TGO) and oxidation resistance. Results indicated that a dual layered TGO, which consisted of top(Ni,Co)(Cr,Al)_2O_4 spinel and underlying α-Al_2O_3, was formed at the NiCoCrAlY/4 YSZ interface with thickness of 8.4μm, accompanying with visible cracks at the interface. In contrast, a single-layer and adherent α-Al_2O_3 scale with thickness of 5.6μm was formed at the interface of Pt-modified NiCoCrAlY and 4 YSZ top coating. The modification of Pt on NiCoCrAlY favored the exclusive formation of α-Al_2O_3 and the reduction of TGO growth rate, and thus could effectively improve overall oxidation performance and extend service life of TBCs. 15Deep Reinforcement Learning Enabled Decision-Making for Autonomous Driving at Intersections显示文摘Road intersection is one of the most complex and accident-prone traffic scenarios,so it’s challenging for autonomous vehicles(AVs)to make safe and efficient decisions at the intersections.Most of the related studies focus on the solution to a single scenario or only guarantee safety without considering driving efficiency.To address these problems,this study proposed a deep reinforcement learning enabled decision-making framework for AVs to drive through intersections automatically,safely and efficiently.The mapping relationship between traffic images and vehicle operations was obtained by an end-to-end decision-making framework established by convolutional neural networks.Traffic images collected at two timesteps were used to calculate the relative velocity between vehicles.Markov decision process was employed to model the interaction between AVs and other vehicles,and the deep Q-network algorithm was utilized to obtain the optimal driving policy regarding safety and efficiency.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed decision-making framework,the top three accident-prone crossing path crash scenarios at intersections were simulated,when different initial vehicle states were adopted for better generalization capability.The results showed that the developed method could make AVs drive safely and efficiently through intersections in all of the tested scenarios.Guofa Li Shenglong Li Shen Li Yechen Qin Dongpu Cao Xingda Qu Bo Cheng 2020Automotive Innovation2020,3,4:4

17A method for the length-pressure hysteresis modeling of pneumatic artificial muscles显示文摘This paper presents a method for the length-pressure hysteresis modeling of pneumatic artificial muscles(PAMs)by using a modified generalized Prandtl-Ishlinskii(GPI)model.Different from the approaches for establishing the GPI models by replacing the linear envelope functions of operators with hyperbolic tangent and exponential envelop functions,the proposed model is derived by modifying the envelope functions of operators into arc tangent functions,which shows an improvement in the modeling accuracy.The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by the experimental data of a PAM.Furthermore,its capacity in capturing the hysteresis relationship between length and pressure is testified by giving different input pressure signals.With regard to the computational efficiency,the influence of the number of operators on the modeling accuracy is discussed.Furthermore,the inversion of the GPI model is derived.Its capability of compensating the hysteresis nonlinearities is confirmed via the simulation and experimental study.XIE ShengLong LIU HaiTao &WANG Yu 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5:3

19An in-situ formed ceramic/alloy/ceramic sandwich barrier to resist elements interdiffusion between NiCrAlY coating and a Ni-based superalloy显示文摘NiCrAlY coatings are widely applied on various alloy components to enhance oxidation and/or corrosion resistance at high temperatures.However,elements interdiffusion occurs between them due to composition difference.Although various diffusion barriers(DBs)are reported,this problem is still far from completely solved as most ceramic barriers suffer from poor adherence,while the metallic barriers play a limited role.In this study,NiCrAlY coating was deposited onto a second-generation single-crystal superalloy by arc ion plating.A novel simple method is provided to address elements interdiffusion.By pre-oxidation at a moderate temperature,a thin scale of Ni(Co)O forms at the alloy surface.It transforms to be an alumina/NiCoCr alloy/alumina sandwich by an in-situ reaction with the overlaying NiCrAlY coating and the alloy substrate at high service temperatures,which offers good barrier ability in conjunction with strong adhesion.In the presence of such an alumina/alloy/alumina DB,the NiCrAlY coating provides high resistance to oxidation and scale spallation for the alloy substrate.Cean Guo Feng Zhou Minghui Chen Jinlong Wang Shenglong Zhu Fuhui Wang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,11:3
20Corrosion Behaviors of Nitride Coatings on Titanium Alloy in NaCl-Induced Hot Corrosion显示文摘TiN and TiAlN coatings were deposited by arc ion plating on titanium alloys to study their hot corrosion resistance when they were exposed to NaCl at 600℃.The microstructure and corrosion behaviors of nitride coatings were studied using scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,electro-probe microanalyzer and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The results showed that nitride coatings with the different compositions and the ones with the same composition but different thicknesses presented different hot corrosion resistance.TiN and thin TiAlN coatings showed poor corrosion resistance.Serious internal oxidation attacked the alloy substrate.Their corrosion products were mainly consisted of non-protective TiO2 and sodium salt.By contrast,the thick TiAlN coating presented outstanding corrosion resistance.Besides sodium salt,the corrosion products were composed of protective Al_(2)O_(3).The increasing thickness of TiAlN significantly enhanced the hot corrosion resistance.The corrosion mechanisms of alloy,TiN and TiAlN coatings were discussed in detail.Mingming Zhang Yipeng Feng Yahui Wang Yunsong Niu Li Xin Yongfeng Li Jianxiu Su Shenglong Zhu Fuhui Wang 2021Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,10:3
